JK Rowling issues perfect response to woke keyboard warrior who tells author, 'My kids and I enjoyed burning your books'

Author J.K. Rowling — who has become a favorite target of leftists who attack her for speaking out against the transgender agenda — just issued the perfect response to a woke keyboard warrior who told the author on X, "My kids and I enjoyed burning your books."

That wasn't all the leftist detractor said. While Rowling blotted out the individual's information in the post, leaving only the user's rainbow emoji and the date and time of the post, she included the full message.

"You are a stupid and horrible woman," the individual declared. "My kids and I enjoyed burning your books and roasting marshmallows over your pathetic books."

Rowling also is known for her cutting wit amid such sociopolitical dustups, and she didn't disappoint here: "I get the same royalties whether you read them or burn them. Enjoy your marshmallows!" Rowling added a blow-a-kiss emoji for good measure.

Rowling — who boasts over 14 million followers on X — has received over 50,000 likes in an hour (and counting) for her retort. The following are but a handful of them:

  • "Aren’t book burners the bad guys in pretty much every history book ever?" one commenter wondered — after which Rowling responded, "And every last one of them believed they were on the right side of history."
  • "This clap back is glorious," another commenter declared.
  • "Ahhh the layers of burn in this tweet [are] pretty epic," another commenter observed.
  • "These attacks aren’t coming from smart people," another user noted. "Smart people would realize considering opinions that differ from your own is how you get smarter."
  • "Wait a minute. The books are great. This is an objective fact. No amount of hatred for you can change that," another commenter observed. "Just like no amount of hormones can change a man into a woman."
  • "No words to express how much I admire J.K. Rowling," another user stated.

‘Joy’ Rhetoric Is An Orwellian Attempt To Hide Democrats’ Hatred

The Democrat machine has not yet come out openly to declare that ‘hate is love,’ but they might as well. Because getting people to hate one another is their goal.

Bill Maher shoots down comedian's claim that the right is behind today's anti-Semitism

The Oct. 7 Hamas attacks on Israel reverberated throughout the West. Whereas many came out to mourn the dead and condemn the terrorists responsible, anti-Semites alternatively came out of the woodwork to condemn Israel and celebrate Hamas.

FBI Director Christopher Wray warned that anti-Semitism in the United States was nearing "historic levels" as student radicals endorsed by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and Hamas began massing on college campuses and taking to the streets, chanting genocidal slogans and parroting anti-Israeli talking points.

Republican lawmakers uniformly condemned the attacks and the anti-Semitism that followed. While some Democrats sided with Israel and the Jewish people against terrorists, leftists such as Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) and her fellow travelers in the Democratic Party joined the chorus of pro-Hamas protesters calling for Israel's ruin.

Having observed this much, Bill Maher was unwilling to accept the argument on the Sunday episode of his "Club Random" podcast that the anti-Semitism now on full display is a product of the American right.

Late in their relatively innocuous conversation about relationships, family, and comedy, Sandra Bernhard, a comedian and Democratic booster, told Maher that her Jewish forebears migrated to the U.S. after fleeing a Russian pogrom.

"Do you feel that flowing through your veins?" asked Maher.

"Yup," said Bernhard. "But I'll tell you something: I am not — you know, everybody's like up in arms now about being Jewish. Suddenly everybody's discovered their Judaism. It's like, I grew up Jewish. I was bat mitzvahed. I went to Hebrew school. I did the whole thing. You know, I like being Jewish."

"Everybody's suddenly like, 'I'm Jewish and I'm being persec —.' I don't feel persecuted," said Bernhard.

"Well, not persecuted perhaps, but there is an anti-Semitism afoot in this country that we haven't had in a very long time," said Maher. "And I never thought I'd see the day."

'It comes from the right wing.'

"I'll tell you where it comes from," said Bernhard. "It comes from the right wing. The right — the extreme."

"No, it doesn't," said Maher without missing a beat.

"You think it's [the] left?" asked Bernhard.

"There's anti-Semitism on both sides," said Maher. "The left wing is even worse. ... That is coming down from elite colleges who see everything only through a racial lens. They are stupid. They don't know history. They think everything is about colonizers and racists and how awful America is."

'None of this jives with the facts.'

Maher appeared keen to extend an olive branch to radicals, saying, "And America has done some bad things. But to drag Israel into this as the stand-in for every bad thing white people ever did — this is not any more complicated to most of these college kids than the Palestinians are brown and poor and the Israelis are rich and white, even though half of them are not rich and certainly not white."

"So they think they're rich and white so they're the colonizers and the apartheid people and the genocide people. None of this jives with the facts," added the host.

Bernhard said, "But can we get on the same page and agree that Benjamin Netanyahu is a s*** disturber and needs to be yanked out of Israel? He is not good for Israel. He is not good for Jews. He has also contributed to the global mistrust. ... He is solidly to blame for everything that is happening right now."

"He is so not to blame for everything that's happening," Maher fired back. "That's the fault of the Palestinian people and the religion of Islam, which gets lost in all of this. I mean, we are fighting."

"What?" interjected Bernhard.

'Mostly to blame is Hamas.'

"Islam," responded Maher. "You've heard of it?"

"How is that? What does that have to do with —?" asked Bernhard.

"You said Netanyahu was mostly to blame. Mostly to blame is Hamas," added Maher.

The host proceeded to suggest that the current predicament is the result of the terrorist group using foreign aid money over the course of years to buy bombs and make tunnels rather than feed the hungry and build adequate health care facilities.

Trio of Islamic extremists indicted over plot to massacre Jews in England

Britain's Community Security Trust, an anti-Semitism watchdog, observed a massive spike in hate incidents against Jewish citizens following the Oct. 7 Hamas terror attacks on Israel. This increase coincided with the mainstreaming of the kinds of genocidal and anti-Israel rhetoric that have since been recycled at various Democrat-supported campus protests in the United States.

Douglas Murray, the founder of the Center for Social Cohesion, noted in an Oct. 12 piece for the Spectator, "Within hours of the slaughter, people in London were driving around flying Palestinian flags and blaring their horns in celebration of the massacre. In Manchester the president of the local 'Friends of Palestine,' Dana Abuqamar, told Sky News, 'We're really full of joy, full of pride at what has happened.' At a Free Palestine rally in Brighton one speaker who claimed she was a Palestinian said: 'Yesterday was a victory.' She described the massacres in Israel as 'so beautiful and inspiring to see.'"

It appears that Britain and its Jewish population have something more to fear than murderous rhetoric.

A pair of Islamic extremists were arrested last week and charged with preparing acts of terrorism. 36-year-old Walid Saadaoui of Abram and 50-year-old Amar Hussein of no fixed address were hauled before the Westminster Magistrates Court and charged with planning an attack on "the Jewish community in the North West of England and members of both law enforcement and the military," reported the BBC.

Bilel Saadaoui, the brother of one of the alleged terror plotters, was also arrested. He has been accused of failing to disclose the details of the terror plot to the authorities, reported the Guardian.

Prosecutor Rebecca Waller indicated the duo set their plan in motion in December and planned "to conduct an ISIL [Isis] or Daesh-inspired terrorist attack in the UK during which they intended causing multiple fatalities using automatic weapons," not unlike the gruesome November 2015 Bataclan massacre where Islamic terrorists murdered 90 people and committed various other atrocities against their victims, or the March 22 ISIS terror attack in Moscow Oblast, Russia, where 145 victims were murdered and 551 were injured.

The plotters reportedly had designs on securing a machine gun, 1,200 rounds of ammunition, a handgun, and a safe house to store their weaponry. Saadaoui allegedly traveled with Hussein to Dover in March "with the aim of conducting reconnaissance of the port security" where the guns were to be imported, reported the Daily Mail.

"Both defendants took significant steps to prepare, and by May 2024, had reach the point at which, they believed, they were in a position to launch their attack," said Waller.

Police nabbed Saadaoui when he went to pick up the weapons.

Assistant Chief Constable Rob Potts of the Greater Manchester Police said in a statement Tuesday, "Today's first court appearance has outlined some concerning and distressing details about a suspected terrorist plot that we allege was being planned by suspects from Greater Manchester."

"Firstly, we know how significant the impact of this will be. Particularly for our Jewish community in Greater Manchester and across the country," continued Potts. "We have worked closely with the Community Security Trust, community groups and key stakeholders prior to today's hearing, and we will continue to update them and support them throughout the course of this case. The wider public will understandably be alarmed too."

Amanda Bomsztyk, the northern regional director of the Community Security Trust, said, "These are very serious allegations of a plan to commit a terrorist attack against British Jews at a time of record anti-Semitic hate crime levels. This is one of a number of recent and ongoing cases that demonstrate why the Jewish community needs such extensive security measures and why our continuing partnership with police and government is so vital."

When asked whether he wanted to apply for bail, Hussein reportedly answered, "Do whatever you want to."

Bilel Saadaoui applied for bail unsuccessfully and blubbered on his way out of court.

Blaze News previously reported that German and Dutch officials similarly foiled an Islamic terrorist plot in December, capturing four Hamas terrorists who had been targeting "Jewish institutions in Europe." Those arrests coincided with Denmark's capture of another four suspected terrorists.

Prosecutors indicated that four of the radicals "have been long-standing members of HAMAS and have participated in HAMAS operations abroad. They are closely linked to the military branch's leadership. This included Khalil Hamed Al Kharraz, the second in command at the 'Izz al-Din al-Qassem' Brigades."

'Woke authoritarian agenda': Trudeau Liberals propose life sentences for online 'hate speech'

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's deeply unpopular regime rolled out new legislation Monday that threatens to radically transform the Canadian legal landscape and equip activists with new means of clamping down on speech they perceive to be hateful.

On its face, Bill C-63, the so-called "Online Harms Act," contains various uncontroversial elements such as the promise to tackle child pornography online. While Justice Minister Arif Virani and other Liberal officials have emphasized these elements when promoting the bill, the child protections appear only to be the vehicle for the transformative substance of C-63.

C-63 would enable Trudeau's leftist government to define "hate speech" online; create a stand-alone "hate crime"; set "strict penalties" for perceived offenses; and allow concern-mongers to file complaints without facing the accused.

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre stressed the bill is an "attack on freedom of expression."

'Online Harms Act'

According to the Trudeau government, the bill would "create stronger online protection for children and better safeguard everyone in Canada from online hate and other types of harmful content."

To this end, C-63, would hold online platforms, including streaming sites and pornographic websites, "accountable for the design choices made that lead to the dissemination and amplification of harmful content on their platforms."

Legislation has recently been enacted in the United Kingdom with a similar aim.

Extra to holding organizations like Facebook, PornHub, and Twitch responsible for content on their platforms and threatening penalties of up to $25 million, C-63 would:

  • establish an entirely new legislative and regulatory framework;
  • create a brand-new "digital safety" czar;
  • put a definition for "hatred" in the Criminal Code;
  • provide increased penalties for existing "hate propaganda offenses"; and
  • establish a "standalone hate crime offense and creating an additional set of remedies for online hate speech in the Canadian Human Rights Act."

The legislation defines hatred thusly: "the emotion that involves detestation or vilification and that is stronger than disdain or dislike."

Content that foments hatred is defined as that which "expresses detestation or vilification of an individual or group of individuals on the basis of a prohibited ground of discrimination ... and that, given the context in which it is communicated, is likely to foment detestation or vilification of an individual or group of individuals on the basis of such a prohibited ground."

Hate crime offenses, including those related to "sexual orientation or gender identity or expression," would carry a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.

So-called "hate propaganda" offenses would land offenders anywhere from a few years in prison to life, the maximum sentence being reserved for those advocating for genocide against an identifiable group.

C-63 would afford anybody including grievance groups the ability to file complaints with the Canadian Human Rights Commission against users who have supposedly posted hate speech online. According to the Trudeau government, the bill would also outline procedures to "protect the confidentiality of complainants and witnesses as appropriate."

True North News indicated that those the CHRC finds guilty can be hit with fines up to $70,000 — $20,000 for so-called victims and $50,000 for the government "if the member panel considers it appropriate" — as well as take-down orders for content.

'Woke authoritarian agenda'

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre, presently poised to defeat Trudeau in the next federal election, told Canadian state media ahead of the bill's reveal that he will not accept "Justin Trudeau's woke authoritarian agenda," adding that the Liberal regime should not be deciding what constitutes "hate speech."

"Justin Trudeau said anyone who criticized him during the pandemic was engaging in hate speech," said Poilievre.

Around the time in 2022 his Liberal cabinet members contemplated deploying tanks against peaceful protesters, Trudeau called the Freedom Convoy truckers a "small fringe minority of people who are on their way to Ottawa, who are holding unacceptable views that are expressing."

"What does Justin Trudeau mean when he says the words 'hate speech'? He means the speech he hates," continued Poilievre. "You can assume he will ban all of that."

The Conservative leader stressed that Trudeau is the last person in Canada who ought to be defining hatred.

"I point out the irony that someone who spent the first half of his adult life as a practicing racist, who dressed up in hideous racist costumes so many times he says he can't remember them all, should then be the arbiter of what constitutes hate," said Poilievre. "What he should actually do is look into his own heart and ask himself why he was such a hateful racist."

When asked about the bill last week, Trudeau suggested that criticism of C-63 and the notion that it is censorious amounted to more "misinformation" from the right.

Liberal Justice Minister Virani maintains that C-63 is not another effort by the Liberal regime to clamp down on free speech.

"I want to be crystal clear about what the Online Harms Act does not do," said Virani. "It does not undermine freedom of speech. It enhances free expression by empowering all people to safely participate in online debate."

Conservative actress Kristy Swanson asks for prayer, says she's hospitalized with COVID-related pneumonia. And prominent leftists just can't hide their hate.

If nothing else, leftists are pretty much a lock for giving voice to their hatred whenever a conservative isn't doing so well.

We saw their viciousness after radio icon Rush Limbaugh announced he had cancer in February 2020 — and then again after he died a year later. There are many examples; it's as if lack of compassion for those with whom they disagree is embedded in leftists' physiological makeup or something.

So if you're a well-known conservative who's fallen ill and leftists find out, don't expect much in the way of encouragement — your best hope is not catching wind of too much of their mockery, or you might feel worse.

What now?

We're seeing it again now that conservative actress Kristy Swanson tweeted a prayer request Monday saying she's hospitalized and on oxygen due to pneumonia from COVID-19:

🙏🏼 Prayers for me please. Yesterday I took an ambulance ride to the hospital. I’m still here with pneumonia, I’m on… https://t.co/DgMNTLGYqF

— Kristy Swanson (@KristySwansonXO) 1635778657.0

"I'm in good spirits and in great hands," the 51-year-old added.

What did prominent leftists have to say?

Swanson — known the world over for her her starring role in the original "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" movie — received her share of well wishes, but like flies on a birthday cake, prominent leftists were all over her tweet and spewing hate and mockery per usual:

  • First up is author Brian O'Sullivan: "Anti-vaxxers like Kristy Swanson always praise doctors/nurses when committed to the hospital. I'm not buying it for once [sic] second. If they really gave a s**t about them, they'd have got the vaccine in the first place."
  • Then we have this reaction from Occupy Democrats executive editor Grant Stern: "Praying for Kristy Swanson to recover from her ignorance of science, and Covid."
  • "Anti-Vaxxer Kristy Swanson is in the hospital with Covid. I'm making lasagna for dinner," tweeted Yesha Callahan, a screenwriter and former deputy editor at the Root.
  • "Kristy Swanson has Covid, and it's the first time in 37 years producers and actors are reaching out to her to see how she is," writer and artist Tony Posnanski tweeted. (And not to give Posnanski too much attention, but when Limbaugh died he compared the late radio host to Hitler. The things some leftists do for brownshirt points, eh?)
  • "Notorious MAGA and Anti Vaxxer Kristy Swanson is in the hospital with COVID-related pneumonia. She is in the hospital because of her ignorance and selfishness. PERIOD!" New York City-based activist Tom D'Angora tweeted. "My heart goes out to the hospital staff."
  • "Kristy Swanson has been terrible for a really long time," writer Tara Dublin tweeted, along with a "karma" hashtag.

Black father blasts critical race theory in front of school board, says it teaches his daughter than her white mother 'is evil'

A father stood before a public school board recently and deftly destroyed critical race theory, not only saying it's a concept meant for the collegiate level but also noting that it influences students of different races to "hate each other."

What are the details?

The fact that Ian Rice is black matters a great deal because he also said, "Critical race theory is teaching that white people are bad. That's not true. That would teach my daughter that her mother is evil."

He told the board he has two children in the district.

"This board and this school district is failing," Rice also said. "[Critical race theory] was never meant to be brought into grade schools, high schools — at all. It's actually taught in the collegiate atmosphere — and more importantly the legal portion of the collegiate atmosphere to see different laws through the lens of race ... from an ethical standpoint — not for grade schoolers and high schoolers."

He added that "the problem with bringing it to the high-school and grade-school level is we don't have the educators to properly teach these kids. Instead they're using as their own agenda to indoctrinate the kids to hate each other."

Daughter 'ridiculed'

To make matters worse, Rice told the school board that at one point a staff member pulled his daughter aside and said, "Well, you're a minority, so you know better than to engage in certain things."

The assertion drew some gasps from meeting attendees — but not as pointedly as when he added that when the incident was brought to school's attention, nothing was done to the educator — but instead his daughter was "ridiculed."

"What is your criteria to educate the educators?" Rice asked the board. "And who are you to educate my children — or any of our children — in life issues? That's our job. Your job is to teach them math and science. Our job is to teach them about life."

He added that although there's still "a long way to go," racism and issues surrounding it are "nowhere near what they used to be decades ago."

"But I believe the people here don't look at me as a black man; they look at me as a man standing in front of you addressing the issue that we all are very passionate about," Rice said in conclusion, after which applause broke out in the room.

Amazing parent testimony on Critical Race Theory in our schools. https://t.co/Llbe0yBn4U

— James Lindsay, uncitable (@ConceptualJames) 1625453929.0

Early in Rice's remarks he mentioned his children are part of the "Caledonia school district." It would appear he's referring to Caledonia Community Schools in Michigan, as another parent posted video of her speaking at what appears to be the same school board meeting last month.

In the following clip, Angela Rigas also took the school board to task, saying it's "going down the wrong path." She ripped wearing masks and what she said was a proposal to test students twice weekly for COVID-19: "I'm sorry, but you are not my kids' physician, and you will never, ever have permission to do any sort of medical procedure or test on my child." Rigas' words drew loud applause.

She also criticized the district's "radical, progressive policies that are ruining our country" before bringing up critical race theory, saying "we are not for racism. If you took the CRT curriculum and took out the word 'white' every time you're shaming a white person and replaced it with 'black,' you then would actually realize it's racist ... and it needs to stop."

Is this a trend?

Last month, another black father — Ty Smith — took down critical race theory in front of an Illinois school board.

"You're going to deliberately teach kids, 'This white kid right here got it better than you because he white?'" Smith asked the board of Bloomington School District 87. "You're going to purposely tell a white kid, 'Oh, the black people are all down and suppressed.' How do I have two medical degrees if I'm sitting here oppressed?"

Noted leftists celebrate Rush Limbaugh's death with hateful tweets: 'Bigoted King of Talk Radio'

It likely will come as no surprise that noted leftists quickly took to Twitter after hearing Wednesday's news about the death of Rush Limbaugh and engaged in a kind of macabre celebration that hardly masked their hatred for the legendary conservative radio talk show host.

What did they say?

A sampling of "blue check mark" Twitter users showed they tried their darnedest to make viral history with the snarkiest take.

Leading the way was Huffington Post reporter Christopher Mathias who used Twitter to hawk the Limbaugh obit he penned with Nick Robins-Early titled, "Rush Limbaugh, Bigoted King Of Talk Radio, Dies At 70."

It's safe to say Mathias isn't a Limbaugh fan:

Rush Limbaugh was a bigot and a misogynist who saturated America's airwaves with cruel lies and conspiracy theories… https://t.co/uKOjR6GWmf
— Christopher Mathias (@Christopher Mathias)1613582566.0

"Rush Limbaugh was a bigot and a misogynist who saturated America's airwaves with cruel lies and conspiracy theories for decades, transforming the GOP in the process," he tweeted.

Where to go from there? How about the Palmer Report's tweet:

Rush Limbaugh spent decades advancing his career by opportunistically spreading vicious lies that got a lot of bad… https://t.co/UBhYQd9nkb
— Palmer Report (@Palmer Report)1613583538.0

"Now he's dead," the tweet read. "So be it. There's a reason 'Rest in Piss' is trending right now."

Indeed, it appeared to be a popular left-wing response to Limbaugh's passing. Comedian Steve Hofstetter sure seemed to like it:

“Rest in Piss” is trending because Rush Limbaugh died. I don’t know who the first person to write this was, but h… https://t.co/6FYYE15GvJ
— Steve Hofstetter (@Steve Hofstetter)1613584093.0

Remember the NFL punter known more for his far-left politics than by actually punting effectively? Well, Chris Kluwe is still hanging around, and he had quite the reaction to Limbaugh's passing: "Good. F*** Rush Limbaugh, and let the celebration about his death be a reminder to the rest of the racists and bigots that we'll happily dance on your graves too."

Parkland shooting survivor-turned-snarky-leftist celeb Cameron Kasky had the following to say:

Rush Limbaugh has passed on, but worry not- his memory lives on through bigots everywhere
— Cam (@Cam)1613583833.0

LGBTQ writer and activist Charlotte Clymer clearly had no tears for Rush:

Rush Limbaugh was a coward and white supremacist. He aggressively and cynically exploited divisions in our country… https://t.co/KHDU01KQSD
— Charlotte Clymer 🏳️‍🌈 (@Charlotte Clymer 🏳️‍🌈)1613583578.0

Activist pastor Rev. Rob Lee apparently tried his best to be, you know, Christlike:

Rush Limbaugh is dead. This is the only honest thing I can say without being uncharitable. May he reckon with God when he meets her.
— Rev. Rob Lee (@Rev. Rob Lee)1613583774.0

David Axelrod also attempted civility — kinda:

Whether you loved him or hated him-and there are very few people in between-Rush Limbaugh was indisputably a force… https://t.co/Ao3Pbuz2og
— David Axelrod (@David Axelrod)1613584127.0

Canadian TV producer and script writer Emily Andras apparently summoned all her skills for this visionary tweet:

Rush Limbaugh slowly opens his eyes. Finds himself in an all-white room with a single pink chair -- and a small tab… https://t.co/qCaHul11Ya
— Emily Andras (@Emily Andras)1613584191.0

Bless her chilly heart. It's frigid up yonder, after all.

Oh, and make sure to check out writer Tony Posnanski's Twitter page — he seems just a bit overly occupied with Limbaugh's passing. Did he lose his copy of "The Way Things Ought to Be" or something?

Here's one of his F-bomb-free takes:

Rush Limbaugh was an author and a man who knew how to excite a crowd. And so was Hitler.
— Tony Posnanski (@Tony Posnanski)1613586569.0

Writer David Klion gave it the ol' college try. (Is he a DeVry University alum?)

Today is a sad day, as the excruciating physical and spiritual agony Rush Limbaugh experienced at all times has finally ended.
— David Klion (@David Klion)1613584180.0

Finally, here's a valiant dunk attempt from Media Matters editor-at-large Parker Molloy:

Looking forward to the goofy right-wing blogs that put together tweet round-ups of people celebrating that Limbaugh died
— Parker Molloy (@Parker Molloy)1613583847.0

Looks like you made it, sweetie.

Anything else?

None of this should come as any surprise, given the same day Limbaugh announced his cancer diagnosis last year, leftists far and wide piled on with glee.
