Matt Walsh goes undercover; finds anti-racist cult members ‘truly believe’ they must ‘atone for their white sins’

If you’re white, then apparently, you’re a racist — at least according to the anti-racism social justice movement that’s taken knitting circles by storm.

The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh set out to discover why that is for his new film, “Am I Racist?” where he goes undercover as a “certified DEI expert” and gets incredible insight from the leaders in the anti-racism industry.

He was a little surprised with what he found — but not when it came to the leaders.

“I wasn’t really surprised by the grifter types and the things that they said was kind of what I expected them to say,” Walsh tells Allie Beth Stuckey of “Relatable.” “Although, still quite disturbing to sit in the room and hear it.”

“The people that are getting sucked into this scam, into this cult, I was a little surprised by the fact that many of them to me seemed more genuine than I thought,” he explains, adding, “They’re true believers.”

When he originally started out, he was under the impression that most of what these followers are doing is simply virtue signaling.

“I think it’s more like 10% virtue signaling and 90% they believe it,” he explains. “They really think that they need to do this somehow to atone for their white sins. And I guess I was surprised by that.”

“Do you think that the 90%, that they are trying to punish themselves or do you think they’re truly hopeful that somehow they’re going to be able to break out of this supposedly white supremacist system and do good for marginalized communities?” Stuckey asks.

“I think it’s a little bit of both, but I do think there’s a kind of spiritual component to it,” he responds. “You can only go so far psychoanalyzing these people, but I do think that they walk around with guilt.”

They carry a guilt that would otherwise be washed clean through belief in Jesus Christ, but instead it follows them everywhere they go, as they are often not religious.

So they’re following a new religion.

“If you don’t have that religion, if you’re a secular person, then I think you still have the guilt,” Walsh explains. “But you have no way of understanding it. You have no framework for understanding it. So I think that these kind of anti-racist grifters come along and they say, ‘OK, well, you’re feeling this way, and I’ll tell you why you’re feeling it.’”

“‘It’s because you’re white, and here’s all the things you can do with this burden of guilt that you carry to be relieved of it,'" he continues. "Then of course, after they do it, they’re given the bad news that ‘OK, well good job for doing that, but you’re still just as racist as you were before.’”

Congress Should Probe The Military’s Investment In Anti-White Extremism

Adm. Michael Gilday has refused to pull anti-white books from the U.S. Navy reading list, reports Fox News, despite pressure from House Republicans.

Navy will keep ‘How to Be an Antiracist’ book on reading list despite objections

Despite objections from Republican lawmakers, the U.S. Navy has reportedly decided against removing a controversial book from its approved reading list.

What are the details?

The Navy came under fire earlier this year upon revelations that some of the books included in its 2021 Chief of Naval Operations Professional Reading Program had nothing to do with military history or strategy, but instead educated readers on cultural topics such as anti-racism and gender identity.

One book in particular, titled "How to Be an Antiracist" by Ibram X. Kendi, drew intense scrutiny for its characterization of America as a fundamentally racist country.

In a letter sent to Navy Admiral Michael Gilday requesting the removal of the book, Republican Rep. Jim Banks (Ind.), a Naval Reserve officer and ranking member of the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Military Personnel, branded the book as "explicitly anti-American" and not fit to be included on the list.

But according to Fox News, Gilday is not budging. In a response letter sent from Gilday to Banks obtained by the news organization, the admiral said he included the book because "it evokes the author's own personal journey in understanding barriers to true inclusion, the deep nuances of racism and racial inequalities," and added he would like to see Navy sailors achieve the same level of "self-reflection."

"While I do not endorse every viewpoint of the books on this reading list, I believe exposure to varied ideas improves the critical thinking skills of our sailors," Gilday continued. "My commitment to them is to continue to listen, make sure their voice is heard, and make the Navy a shining example of an organization centered on respect, inclusive of all."

Banks responded by telling Fox News in a statement that that Gilday's letter "shows he is not serious."

He added: "We face an existential foreign threat, and our military is desperate for serious leadership."

What else?

Gilday reportedly mentioned in the letter that some of the books included on the list were recommendations from Task Force One Navy, a new progressive agency established within the military branch to "address the issues of racism, sexism and other destructive biases and their impact on naval readiness."

The admiral clarified that he contacted the agency over the summer "to identify and remove racial barriers, improve inclusion efforts, create new opportunities for professional development and eliminate obstacles to enter the Navy."

The Task Force made headlines recently after it released a report which included a pledge for sailors that sounded like it was produced by a woke college diversity officer rather than the U.S. military.

Glenn Beck, Chad Prather, and Steven Crowder on Dr. Seuss and the idiocy of cancel culture

Blaze TV hosts Glenn Beck , Chad Prather, and Steven Crowder weighed-in with similar but different thoughts on the fascism associated with canceling Dr. Seuss.

Glenn Beck can't help but wonder, "What is wrong with us?" in light of the Dr. Seuss books that have been cancelled due to "hurtful and wrong" illustrations — that takes America one step closer to complete insanity.

Chad Prather approached the issue from a comedic perspective, stating that "Dr. Seuss is dead and could not be reached for comment."

Steven Crowder explained that Dr. Seuss books were banned for being offensive and insensitive to some. So Steven decided to parody the six banned children's books with progressively titled and hilariously inappropriate versions.

'How do you fix it?' - Steven Crowder speaks to Clark County Elections Office about voter rolls

Recently, TheBlaze.com reported, "Conservative comedian and BlazeTV host Steven Crowder claimed that an unknown person or group attempted to engage in a cover-up by altering public records to hide the fact that a former Hillary Clinton staffer — who has allegedly been missing for two years — voted illegally in Nevada during the 2020 election."

Crowder made a phone call Wednesday to the Clark County Elections Office and spoke to Dan Cullen about known voter roll errors.

Crowder asked if Clark County had required voters to verify their identification before their voter information is updated. Crowder simply wanted to know if there is a process in place that ensures voter information is updated accurately.

"How do you fix it? This is a person who voted from an address that does not exist," Crowder asked.

Cullen eventually admitted that there is no law in place that can guarantee voter information is accurate.
