The Cringe of All Media: Simping Stern hosts Kamala lovefest

You're the putative King of All Media, and you have Vice President Kamala Harris in your studio.

What do you ask first? So many options!

'I plan on waking up on November 6 with Madam President,' the governor said before Kimmel silently cried, 'Cleanup on aisle 4!'

If you said, “Do you nap?” give yourself a gold star.

That was literally Howard Stern’s first question when the veep's softball interview tour stopped by his studio. Never mind that Harris can’t even navigate easy interviews, supplying Team Trump with more commercial fodder than any campaign could crave.

Just know that Stern followed up his fawning interview with President Joe Biden a few months back with another cringe-fest weeks before Election Day.

Howard, it’s time to hand over your crown …

Walz-y move

Harris’ ace VP pick isn’t much better.

Gov. Tim Walz sailed through his softball question barrage from Jimmy Kimmel this week, the host practically waving a flannel shirt in the air to remind us that Walz is just reg’lar folk.

And then Walz pulled a Walz.

“I plan on waking up on November 6 with Madam President,” the governor said before Kimmel silently cried, “Cleanup on aisle 4!”

Final 'Boss'

Amazon Freevee is “Sorry Not Sorry” about ending its “Who’s the Boss?” reunion plans.

The streamer flirted with an update on the ABC sitcom starring Tony Danza and a young Alyssa Milano. The actress is much better known these days for her far-left bona fides and hosting the “Sorry Not Sorry” podcast.

Maybe her becoming a hard-left radical who alienates large swaths of the country factored into the decision …

Feig fumbles 'Jackpot'

If Judd Apatow once ruled as Hollywood’s King of Comedy, Paul Feig was its crown prince.

Feig co-produced “Freaks and Geeks” with Apatow and later directed “Spy,” “Bridesmaids” and “The Heat.” He also directed episodes of “The Office,” ”Parks and Recreation” and “30 Rock.”

Not too shabby.

And then he foisted the “Lady Ghostbusters” debacle on an unsuspecting public in 2016.

Did Feig misplace his funny bone? Has anybody seen it?

He expanded his genre focus after that debacle (“A Simple Favor,” “The School for Good and Evil”) before returning to comedy with this year’s “Jackpot!”

That Prime Video original might be the worst comedy of the year. Years, to be exact.

So the news that he’s directing “The Housemaid,” a thriller starring Sydney Sweeney, brings a sigh of relief. There’s nothing funny about Feig’s comedy tailspin …

Warner Bros. to Phillips: Joker's on you

Todd Phillips, meet the Warner Bros. bus backing over you.

Phillips’ “Joker” earned the studio north of $1 billion back in 2019. That gave Phillips all the creative freedom necessary to make a musical sequel.

Yes, “Joker: Folie a Deux” is a musical about a murderous mental patient and his new gal pal (Lady Gaga).

The film, naturally, is tanking stateside. Now, according to World of Reel, studio suits are using industry mags to blame Phillips for the debacle.

They’re not wrong, per se, but using studio leaks to malign an artist who swung for the fences and missed feels wrong. But it’s oh, so right for kind, tolerant Hollywood …

'SNL' dunks on Dems

Is “Saturday Night Live” regretting its transformation into MSNBC light? The show’s bipartisan approach to political satire evaporated during the Obama years. It's only gotten worse since then.

The show mostly ignored President Joe Biden’s obvious mental decline and VP Kamala Harris’ word salad recipes.

Yet the first two “SNL” episodes of the new season, its 50th, suggest the show may be trying to channel its earlier incarnation.

Over the weekend, Jim Gaffigan played Gov. Tim Walz as, well, a knucklehead. The show even had Gaffigan, a raging anti-Trumper off screen, reciting Walz’s “friends with school shooters” line from the recent VP debate.

Maya Rudolph’s Kamala Harris is shown drowning her sorrows in wine, a possible nod either to those who think she’s a cool wine mom or that her incoherency is tied to the bottle.

It’s even more noteworthy because we’re mere weeks from Election Day and “SNL” has been a reliable part of the Democrats’ machine for more than a decade.

Even a far-left sketch show may not be able to resist the grossly incompetent Harris-Walz ticket.

Howard Stern wants 'SNL' to drop Harris satire, claiming 'there's too much at stake' with potential Trump victory

Radio host Howard Stern stated Tuesday that "there's too much at stake" with the upcoming election for the sketch comedy show "Saturday Night Live" to make fun of Democratic presidential nominee and Vice President Kamala Harris.

As part of Harris' continued media blitz this week, she sat down with Stern, who was tripping over himself to express his fervent endorsement of her candidacy.

'You've got to win, you just have to.'

Stern admitted that he was "really nervous" because he wanted the election to "go well" for Harris.

"Even when I watch them on 'Saturday Night Live,' where they have Maya Rudolph playing you, I hate it," Stern told Harris.

"I don't want you being made fun of. There's too much at stake. I believe the entire future of this country right now — I mean, as America, land of the free, home of the brave — I think it's literally on the line," he added.

"I agree with you," Harris responded.

When asked how she felt about Rudolph's impression of her, Harris told Stern that she is "a huge fan" and thought "it was funny."

"I think she put a lot of time into doing the piece and the character," Harris said.

During an interview on "The View" this week, Harris was shown a clip of Rudolph's impression of her. She responded to the video by stating, "Maya Rudolph, she's so good, she had the whole thing, the suit, the jewelry, the mannerisms."

Harris told Stern that her opponent, Republican presidential nominee and former President Donald Trump, has a "desire to be a dictator."

She continued, "He says he's going to be a dictator on day one. Understand what dictators do. They jail journalists. They put people who are protesting in the street in jail," both of which the Biden-Harris administration has done.

Stern told Harris, "With all this pressure on you right now, and you've got to win, you just have to."

"I really believe we're in for the darkest skies on the planet. Like, the sun's literally going to go out. God bless you for doing this," he added.

The friendly interview was ridiculed by New York Times columnist Michelle Cottle, who likened the talk to Harris spending an "hour in the warm embrace" of Stern. Cottle accused the radio host of being "a little too openly butt-smoochy."

"Who could resist the opportunity to outsource some Trump bashing to a professional trash-talker like Stern, who famously disdains the MAGA king?" Cottle questioned.

‘Broken Weirdo’: Trump Stirs Feud With Howard Stern On Truth Social

'The real Howard Stern is a weak, pathetic, and disloyal guy'

Howard Stern blasts Hollywood over Will Smith-Dave Chappelle hypocrisy: ‘They didn’t break Will’s hands, they shook them and it’s wrong’

Howard Stern tore into Hollywood and said that the entertainers are hypocritical in how they handled the incident between Chris Rock and Will Smith when compared to the attack on comedian Dave Chappelle.

A crazed male suspect stormed the stage at the Hollywood Bowl earlier this week and assaulted Chappelle, who was in the middle of a set.

What are the details?

During Wednesday's broadcast of "The Howard Stern Show," the namesake host said that Hollywood showed its true colors in its response to the two incidents.

“This guy jumped up on stage and attacked Dave Chappelle,” Stern said. “As soon as that happened, did they let him go back to his seat and laugh and sit next to his wife and then give them an award? No! They took him backstage, they broke his arms and hands so bad.”

He added, “They f***king beat the s*** out of him!”

Stern pointed out that Hollywood appeared to cater to Smith after he slapped Rock during the Oscars live broadcast.

“Unlike the Academy Awards, Jamie Foxx came running out on stage and helped Dave Chappelle,” Stern continued. “At the Academy Awards, everyone came over and consoled Will Smith — because it was live television and Hollywood didn’t know what to do about Will Smith.”

Hollywood, he fumed, shouldn't have treated Smith any different when compared to Chappelle's attacker, who was later identified as 23-year-old Isaiah Lee. Following the attack, videos showed EMTs transporting Lee — who appeared to have sustained severe injuries as a result of security manhandling him — in an ambulance to a local hospital.

“The audience at the Oscars gave Will Smith a standing ovation after the attack, that’s the truth,” Stern continued, pointing out how "f***ed up" Hollywood is. “It’s on film, it’s not fake news. They didn’t break Will’s hands, they shook them, and it’s wrong.”

“Some people in the audience at the Academy Awards still should be very ashamed of themselves," he insisted. "I hope they are."

Following the slap heard round the world, the Academy banned Smith from its annual ceremony for a period of 10 years.

Earlier during his broadcast, Stern said, "I hate to say it, but I’ve always thought, I told you I used to do live — 'America’s Got Talent.' I always thought it’s these live shows and everything, it’s crazy because people are getting nuttier and nuttier and they’re going to use these opportunities to attack people."

Howard Stern spots the REAL reason Will Smith slapped Chris Rock: 'Smith and Trump are the SAME GUY’

By now, you've no doubt heard about the Oscar night spectacle in which actor Will Smith marched onstage and smacked comedian Chris Rock across the face for making a joke about Smith's wife Jada Pinkett Smith.

Soon after, anyone with a platform and an opinion (which is pretty much everyone these days) was offering up their ideas on what caused Smith's explosive meltdown, and many were quick to find a way to blame, you guessed it, former President Donald Trump.

During an episode of his SiriusXM radio show, Howard Stern said he'd cracked the code on Smith's bizarre behavior:

"Will Smith and Trump are the same guy," Sherlock Stern deduced.

“[Smith] open-hand, with a lot of force, smacks [Rock] right in the mouth on TV,” Stern said. “Now the first thing I said to myself was ‘what the f*** is going on, is this a bit?’ Because where is security? This is a live television event. Not one person came out, because he’s Will Smith, this is how Trump gets away with sh**. Will Smith and Trump are the same guy.

He decided he’s going to take matters into his own hands, you know, at a time when the world is at war. Bad timing, man. Calm your f***ing a** down," he added.

Mediaite's tweet highlighting the segment of Stern's show got mixed reviews:

Do you think nothing would have happened had it been Ben Affleck slapping Chris Rock?!????

If he means that we as human beings, since around 2016 coincidentally or not, have lost all dignity about ourselves, have lost the ability to turn the other cheek, and have lost all control of impulse in the face of criticism or words we don\u2019t like, then he\u2019s absolutely right.

I used to like Howard, he's turned into a real piece of poop. Don't you dare compare the two. When did Trump raise his hand and they were constantly making fun of his wife. Smith only thinks of violence to solve problems.

This happens when they can get over Trump! Everything in their little minds has to include Trump. \n\nTDS is a serious condition!

Billie Eilish Calls Porn A ‘Disgrace’ To Women, Says It ‘Destroyed’ Her Brain

'I think it really destroyed my brain and I feel incredibly devastated that I was exposed to so much porn,' Billie Eilish told Howard Stern on Monday.
