Did Democratic Rep. Jamaal Bowman of New York accidentally pull a fire alarm right before an extremely important vote on a spending bill?

Glenn Beck and many other conservatives think it’s unlikely it was an accident, as he claims.

“It’s a fire alarm. It’s clearly marked,” Glenn says. “When was the last time you pulled a fire alarm by mistake? When’s the last time you met somebody who pulled it by mistake?”

“I’d say never,” he continues. “I mean, yes, I knew somebody in grade school who pulled it intentionally, but that’s the only time I’ve ever seen anyone involved in pulling a fire alarm.”

Bowman claims that he was just trying to open a door and had no idea it would actually trigger the fire alarm — despite the fire alarm being clearly marked.

“Now, a lot of people will say that Jamaal Bowman was pulling the fire alarm to make sure everyone in the Capitol got out of the Capitol,” Glenn says, in order to “disrupt” an official proceeding.

Even an anchor on CNN questioned AOC on Bowman’s actions, saying it “doesn’t really make sense to me, his explanation.”

However, AOC believes Bowman.

“The government’s about to be shut down; there’s a vote clock that’s going down; the exits that are normally open in that building were suddenly closed,” AOC told the CNN anchor in order to excuse Bowman’s actions.

Stu Burguiere doesn’t believe Bowman either, but finds AOC “just wonderful.”

“She’s so dumb and so public about it,” Burguiere says, laughing.
