THIS is the Biden scandal with China they’re trying to HIDE

If you thought Hunter Biden couldn’t get any sketchier, you were wrong. A former Israel Defense Forces lieutenant colonel with deep ties to American and Chinese intelligence agencies is claiming that he was recently arrested in Cyprus on gunrunning charges in an attempt to stop him from revealing what he knows about misdeeds by the Biden family.

The House Oversight Committee is investigating the troubling claims made by this former Israeli official, including the allegation that the ne’er-do-well son of Joe Biden had an FBI mole named “One Eye” who tipped off his Chinese business partners that they were under investigation.

The man was detained at a Cyprus airport as he prepared to board a plane to Israel.

He said, “I’ve been arrested in Cyprus on a politically motivated extradition request by the U.S. The U.S. is claiming that I’m an arms dealer. It would be funny if it weren’t so tragic. I’ve never been an arms dealer. DOJ is trying to bury me to protect Joe, Jim, and Hunter Biden.”

He continues, “Shall I name names?”

Glenn believes this is the reason the Left is relentless in pursuit of Trump: It’s all a distraction.

NBC News analysis: Hunter Biden raked in $11 million in 5 years – more than half from Chinese deals. President Biden said his son did not make money in China.

Hunter Biden made millions from overseas business deals, according to the analysis of the first son's infamous laptop by NBC News. Hunter Biden raked in the most money from Chinese business dealings. However, President Joe Biden previously said that his son did not make any money in China.

The NBC News report stated, "From 2013 through 2018 Hunter Biden and his company brought in about $11 million via his roles as an attorney and a board member with a Ukrainian firm accused of bribery and his work with a Chinese businessman now accused of fraud."

Of the $11 million that Biden made in the 5-year span, $5.8 million was attained from two business deals with Chinese entities.

"The documents and the analysis, which don’t show what he did to earn millions from his Chinese partners, raise questions about national security, business ethics, and potential legal exposure," NBC News reported.

The findings regarding Hunter's finances were derived from a copy of Biden’s hard drive, his iCloud account, and an 87-page report titled "Hunter Biden, Burisma, and Corruption: The Impact on U.S. Government Policy and Related Concerns" released by Sens. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) and Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) in September 2020.

Hunter Biden's business deals in China

The analysis found that Hunter's most lucrative deal involved a Chinese businessman who is now believed to be detained in China, according to NBC News.

“According to business records referred to in the Senate report, Hudson West III, a venture funded by the Chinese oil and natural gas company CEFC and its chairman, Ye Jianming, paid $4,790,375.25 to Owasco P.C. over about one year.”

Owasco P.C. was controlled by Hunter Biden, according to filings in Washington, D.C.

In 2018, Ye Jianming was accused of “economic crimes” by Chinese prosecutors. He has not been seen in public since he was detained for questioning on accusations of fraud and bribery.

Ye Jianming is the former chairman of the China Energy Fund Committee. He is rumored to have ties to China's People's Liberation Army. A 2018 Financial Times report linked him to Chinese military intelligence.

"Ye's company, CEFC China Energy, aligned itself so closely with the Chinese government that it was often hard to distinguish between the two," CNN reported in 2018.

Chi Ping Patrick Ho – an associate of Ye Jianming and a top executive for CEFC – reportedly wired a $1 million payment to Owasco P.C. that was listed as “Dr Patrick Ho Chi Ping Representation.”

In March 2019, Patrick Ho was sentenced to three years in prison for international bribery and money laundering.

The New York Post reported in October 2020 that Patrick Ho had been in the process of brokering a partnership between the multibillion-dollar energy company and a business group involving Hunter Biden and his uncle, James Biden.

Joe Biden denied his son's profitable Chinese ventures

However, Joe Biden previously declared that his son had not made money from China during a 2020 presidential debate with Donald Trump.

"My son has not made money in terms of, this thing about, what are you talking about, China," Biden stated.

After being elected, Biden's White House doubled down on the assertion that Hunter did not receive money from China.

In March, White House communications director Kate Bedingfield was asked about the damning New York Times report that declared that emails from Hunter's abandoned laptop were authentic.

“We absolutely stand by the president’s comment,” Bedingfield responded. “And I would point you to the reporting on this, which referenced statements that we made at the time, that we gave to the Washington Post, who worked on this story. But as you know, I don’t speak for Hunter Biden so there’s not more I can say on that.”

Hunter Biden's Ukrainian connections

The NBC News report also mentions Hunter's position on the Ukrainian gas company Burisma.

"Biden’s addition to the company’s board as head of legal affairs was reported in a news release in May 2014," the outlet stated. "At some point from May to December 2014, Burisma allegedly paid a bribe to a Ukrainian official to help stop a joint British/U.S. money-laundering investigation into Burisma’s top executive, according to a State Department email that quotes a Ukrainian prosecutor."

The New York Post previously reported, "In 2016, Hunter’s total income from Burisma was $999,996. In 2017 it dropped to $665,000, and then $498,000 in 2018."

Hunter Biden blows through fast money

The analysis of his laptop hard drive showed that Hunter spent his money faster than he earned it.

"Expenditures compiled on his hard drive show he spent more than $200,000 per month from October 2017 through February 2018 on luxury hotel rooms, Porsche payments, dental work, and cash withdrawals," according to NBC News. "Biden has admitted to burning through cash to pay for drugs and partying with strangers who routinely stole from him, and he struggled to pay multiple mortgages or keep up with alimony and child support payments to his ex-wife."

In his divorce filing from February 2017, the attorney for his ex-wife, Kathleen Buhle, claimed, "Throughout the parties' separation, Mr. Biden has created financial concerns for the family by spending extravagantly on his own interests (including drugs, alcohol, prostitutes, strip clubs, and gifts for women with whom he has sexual relations) while leaving the family with no funds to pay legitimate bills."

Hunter Biden may have been a national security risk

Frank Figliuzzi – the FBI’s former assistant director for counterintelligence – warned that Hunter Biden could be a national security risk.

"It’s all about access and influence, and if you can compromise someone with both access and influence, that’s even better," Figliuzzi told NBC News – where he is a contributor. “Better still if that target has already compromised himself.”

Walter Shaub –a former director of the U.S. Office of Government Ethics during the Obama administration – blasted Biden, "No government ethics rules apply to him.”

Hunter Biden's defense attorney Christppher Clark declined to give NBC News a comment on the analysis of his client's laptop.

Report: Hunter Biden sent best wishes from 'entire Biden family' in 2017 email to Chinese energy magnate requesting $10 million wire

Newly obtained email correspondence shows Hunter Biden telling the chairman of CEFC China in 2017 that he sends his "best wishes from the entire Biden family" while requesting a $10 million money transfer to jumpstart their joint venture with the Chinese energy firm.

The email, which was recently obtained by Fox News, raises new questions about Democratic President-elect Joe Biden's past involvement in the prospective business deal. Joe Biden has repeatedly denied having any knowledge or involvement in his son's overseas business dealings.

What are the details?

In an email sent on June 18, 2017, Hunter Biden requested that Zhao Runlong "translate my letter to [CEFC] Chairman Ye, please extend my warmest best wishes and that I hope to see the Chairman soon."

"I hope my letter finds you well. I regret missing you on your last visit to the United States," he wrote in an attached letter to Ye Jianming, who has reported ties to the Chinese communist government. "Please accept the best wishes from the entire Biden family as well as my partners. We are all hoping to see you here again soon, or in Shanghai."

Biden reportedly went on to share that the establishment of SinoHawk Holdings, the joint venture between his team and CEFC, had been completed, and that he looked forward to introducing Ye to Tony Bobulinski, who would "act as the CEO."

"He is a very close friend of James Gilliar and the Biden family and joined our team to focus on the execution of things as a partner," Biden wrote of Bobulinski. "He has invested capital all over the world for some of the world's wealthiest families."

"[Bobulinski had] sent a request to [Gongwen Dong] and Director Zang for the funding of the $10 MM USD wire," Biden continued. "I would appreciate if you will send that quickly so we can properly fund and operate Sinohawk."

What else?

Ye, responding in a letter attached to a Sept. 6, 2017, email obtained by Fox News, assured Biden that he had "arranged Director Zang and Gongwen Dong to expedite the charter capital input to SinoHawk."

"I look forward to meeting you in the near future and discussing our joint undertaking. If there is anything I could do please do not hesitate to write to me," Ye wrote. "Please accept my best regards to you and your family."

Fox News noted that the $10 million wire transfer was never completed. The joint venture fell apart shortly after Ye was detained by the Chinese government for unspecified crimes.

Anything else?

Bobulinski, a former Hunter Biden business associate, went public in October about the deal-gone-bad turning over a trove of documents and evidence to federal agents and congressional committees. He claimed that, despite his denials, Joe Biden was both aware of the deal and involved in it.

He claimed that an email obtained by the New York Post which outlined compensation packages for the venture illustrated Biden's involvement. In the email, Hunter Biden stated, "10 held by H for the big guy?" in reference to Joe Biden, according to Bobulinski.

Since then, another 2017 email has surfaced in which Hunter Biden called his father and his new Chinese business partner "office mates," and even had keys made for them.

Hunter Biden says that his 'tax affairs' are under federal investigation

Hunter Biden, the son of former Vice President Joe Biden, said that he was under investigation by the U.S. Attorney General's office in Delaware, Maryland.

The Biden-Harris transition team released a statement from Hunter Biden on Wednesday about the revelation.

"I learned yesterday for the first time that the U.S. Attorney's Office in Delaware advised my legal counsel, also yesterday, that they are investigating my tax affairs. I take this matter very seriously but I am confident that a professional and objective review of these matters will demonstrate that I handled my affairs legally and appropriately, including with the benefit of professional tax advisors," read the statement.

Republicans and other critics have accused the Biden family of illegally abusing the power of the office of vice president in order to enrich themselves.

The transition team also released their statement about the development.

"President-elect Biden is deeply proud of his son, who has fought through difficult challenges, including the vicious personal attacks of recent months, only to emerge stronger," the statement read.

Department of Justice sources reportedly said that Hunter Biden's taxes had been under investigation since 2018, according to John Roberts of Fox News.

CNN's Evan Perez reported that the statement from the Biden transition team came after they asked for a comment about the investigation for their story.

The report said that the investigation was probing allegations of money laundering related to foreign countries, including China. The report from CNN also said that the investigation did not implicate Joe Biden.

Hunter Biden's business relations became a central issue in the 2020 election when allies of the president accused him of using his father's position in order to benefit a Ukrainian energy company that he represented.

The speculation reached a fever pitch when it was revealed that the president's lawyer Rudy Giuliani had obtained a laptop owned by Hunter Biden but abandoned at a computer repair shop. Giuliani claimed the laptop contained information damaging to Hunter Biden and implicating Joe Biden, but he handed it over law enforcement officials in Delaware.

Emails show Hunter Biden pursuing 'lucrative' deal with Chinese energy company that would be 'interesting to my family': Report

Following Wednesday's release of "smoking gun" emails from a laptop computer that contained photos of Hunter Biden and emails purporting to belong to him, the New York Post released more emails allegedly from Joe Biden's son. The latest batch of emails purportedly show Hunter pursuing "lasting and lucrative" deals involving a Chinese energy company that he said would be "interesting for me and my family."

According to the reported emails from 2017, the son of the Democratic presidential nominee communicated with high-ranking officials from China Energy Fund Committee, which at one time was the largest private energy company in China. In 2017, Fortune noted that CEFC had nearly $44 billion in revenue.

Ye Jianming is the former chairman of China Energy Fund Committee. Ye is rumored to have ties to China's People's Liberation Army, and a 2018 Financial Times report links him to Chinese military intelligence.

"Ye's company, CEFC China Energy, aligned itself so closely with the Chinese government that it was often hard to distinguish between the two," CNN wrote in 2018.

Hunter Biden was reportedly a recipient of an email sent on May 13, 2017, with the subject line: "Expectations." The email, which was was written by James Gilliar of the international consulting firm J2cR, details "remuneration packages" for six people in a business venture.

Hunter Biden was identified as "Chair / Vice Chair depending on agreement with CEFC (China Energy Co)." His pay was "850" and the email noted: "Hunter has some office expectations he will elaborate."

"In addition, the email outlined a 'provisional agreement' under which 80 percent of the 'equity,' or shares in the new company, would be split equally among four people whose initials correspond to the sender and three recipients, with 'H' apparently referring to Biden," the Post reported.

The deal listed "10 Jim" and "10 held by H for the big guy?" Neither "Jim" nor "big guy" were identified.

Gilliar wrote, "I am happy to raise any detail with Zang if there is [sic] shortfalls ?"

"Zang" is an apparent reference to Zang Jian Jun, the former executive director of CEFC China, according to the Post.

Alleged emails from Hunter on Aug. 2, 2017, show him discussing a three-year consulting contract worth $10 million annually "for introductions alone."

"The chairman changed that deal after we me[t] in MIAMI TO A MUCH MORE LASTING AND LUCRATIVE ARRANGEMENT to create a holding company 50% percent [sic] owned by ME and 50% owned by him," Biden wrote, according to the email. "Consulting fees is one piece of our income stream but the reason this proposal by the chairman was so much more interesting to me and my family is that we would also be partners inn [sic] the equity and profits of the JV's [joint venture's] investments."

Biden's alleged email was sent to Gongwen Dong, whom the Wall Street Journal wrote about in October 2018, in regard to the purchase of two luxury Manhattan apartments that "show no financing on either deal."

"Companies linked to Ye Jianming, a Chinese oil entrepreneur with ties to China's military, spent roughly $83 million on New York City's priciest properties," the Journal reported. "Both of the transactions were executed in the names of limited liability companies that are registered at a Long Island home of Asian financier Gongwen Dong. Mr. Ye's name doesn't appear on the business registration document, but the people familiar with the transactions describe him as controlling the companies. Mr. Dong couldn't be reached for comment."

Ye reportedly planned to buy $80 million more in New York City real estate, but the former chairman mysteriously disappeared in early 2018, when he was reportedly taken into custody by Chinese authorities.

CEFC China Energy Co. and three of its subsidiaries went bankrupt in April 2020.

The New York Post also obtained an "Attorney Engagement Letter" between Hunter and one of Ye's "top lieutenants." Former Hong Kong government official Chi Ping Patrick Ho became the deputy chairman and secretary general of China Energy Fund Committee.

In September 2017, Ho reportedly agreed to pay Biden a $1 million retainer for "Counsel to matters related to US law and advice pertaining to the hiring and legal analysis of any US Law Firm or Lawyer."

In March 2019, the Department of Justice announced that Ho was sentenced to serve 36 months in prison for "his role in a multi-year, multimillion-dollar scheme to bribe top officials of Chad and Uganda in exchange for business advantages for CEFC China Energy Company Limited ('CEFC China')."

In December 2019, Ho was convicted of violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, money-laundering, and conspiracy to commit the same. Ho reportedly bribed high-ranking government officials in Africa for oil rights in Chad and lucrative business deals in Uganda.

"Patrick Ho bribed officials at the highest levels of government in Chad and Uganda in pursuit of lucrative oil deals and other business opportunities, all while using a U.S.-based NGO to conceal his criminal scheme," Assistant Attorney General Benczkowski said. "This kind of corruption undermines world markets and tilts the playing field against law-abiding companies and individuals. The Department will continue to investigate and prosecute individuals and corporations that engage in foreign bribery."

"Patrick Ho schemed to bribe the leaders of Chad and Uganda in order to secure unfair business advantages for the Chinese energy company he served," said Manhattan U.S. Attorney Berman. "His actions were brazen, including offering the president of Chad $2 million in cash, hidden in gift boxes. Foreign corruption undermines the fairness of international markets, erodes the public's faith in its leaders, and is deeply unfair to the people and businesses that play by the rules. Today's sentence recognizes the severe harm caused by Ho's actions."

Ho served a three-year prison sentence and was deported to Hong Kong in June.

Also from the laptop, there is allegedly a photo that is dated Aug. 1, 2017. The image shows a handwritten flowchart of the ownership of a business named "Hudson West." The image shows a 50/50 split between two entities controlled by Hunter Biden and someone identified as "Chairman."

Hudson West was cited in a report released last month by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) and Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) titled "Hunter Biden, Burisma, and Corruption: The Impact on U.S. Government Policy and Related Concerns."

"On the same day that the impending Rosneft deal was announced, Hunter Biden and Gongwen Dong, a Chinese national who has reportedly executed transactions for limited liability companies controlled by Ye Jianming, applied to a bank and opened a line of credit under the business name Hudson West III LLC (Hudson West III)," the report stated.

"Hunter Biden, James Biden, and James Biden's wife, Sara Biden, were all authorized users of credit cards associated with the account," the report continued. "The Bidens subsequently used the credit cards they opened to purchase $101,291.46 worth of extravagant items, including airline tickets and multiple items at Apple Inc. stores, pharmacies, hotels and restaurants. The cards were collateralized by transferring $99,000 from a Hudson West III account to a separate account, where the funds were held until the cards were closed. The transaction was identified for potential financial criminal activity."

The report states that Hudson West III changed ownership at some point and was "divided between Hunter Biden's law firm Owasco PC (50%) and Coldharbour Capital LLC (50%)."

"Although ownership in Coldharbour Capital is equally divided between two individuals, Mervyn Yan and Tian Zhang, it has a business address identified as the address of Gongwen Dong."

Hudson West has since been dissolved.

The emails and documents were reportedly found on a MacBook Pro laptop that was dropped off at a computer repair shop in Delaware in April 2019 and never picked up. The contents of the laptop were released by the New York Post and Rudy Giuliani.

Emails released on Wednesday allege that Joe Biden met with a top executive at Burisma, the Ukrainian natural gas company, when he was vice president and during his son Hunter Biden's tenure on the company's board.

George Mesires, Hunter Biden's lawyer, previously told the Post, "There is no need for comment on any so-called information provided by Rudy Giuliani."

Twitter locked the official account of the New York Post on Wednesday for the publication of the bombshell report on Hunter Biden. Facebook suppressed the distribution of the Post's article on Wednesday.

Bombshell new documentary seeks to expose Joe and Hunter Biden's secret Chinese business dealings

A new documentary promises to shine a light on Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden's politically-wrought business dealings in China that for years have been largely hidden from the public eye — and have even benefitted the Chinese military.

The documentary, called "Riding the Dragon: Uncovering the Bidens' Chinese Secrets," was produced by Lightspeed Pictures in association with BlazeTV and features New York Times bestselling author Peter Schweizer. It is currently available for viewing to subscribers on BlazeTV.com.

Schweizer, who is also president of the Government Accountability Institute, investigated the Bidens — Hunter Biden's suspicious board position at the infamous Ukrainian gas company, Burisma, in particular — for his 2018 book, "Profiles in Corruption: Abuse of Power by America's Progressive Elite."

Now in the new documentary, Schweizer drills down into Hunter Biden and his private equity firm's lucrative business deals with the Chinese government.

"This isn't just another story about a politician's kid getting rich," the film's narrator says in the trailer. "Hunter's new firm started making investment deals that would serve the strategic interests of the Chinese military."

RIDING THE DRAGON: Uncovering the Bidens' Chinese Secrets (Preview) youtu.be

"This is the remarkable and largely hidden story of the secret financial relationship between the Biden family and the Chinese government," the narrator adds.

During a radio interview with Glenn Beck Monday, Schweizer added some details about the business dealings not divulged in the trailer.

He claimed that his investigation turned up information suggesting the Bidens cooperated with the Chinese partners to bypass laws allowing them to acquire companies that benefitted the Chinese military in the technology space.

Schweizer also suggested that these business dealings could be the reason that Democratic nominee Joe Biden has not been critical of the communist government in China.

"The question is why [is Biden not critical of China]?" asks Schweizer. "To me ... he became much more soft on Beijing when his son started getting very lucrative, exclusive deals courtesy of the Chinese government."

The full documentary is available to BlazeTV subscribers today. It will also be released to the general public in 8-10 minute "Chapters" on the BlazeTV YouTube channel throughout the week. Those who subscribe to BlazeTV's YouTube channel and click on the notification bell will receive notifications when each chapter is released.
