Biden appears to forget name of his secretary of defense, calls Lloyd Austin 'the black man'

President Joe Biden suffered yet another gaffe in a recent interview. During a sit-down interview with Black Entertainment Television that aired on Wednesday, Biden seemingly forgot the name of his secretary of defense and called him "the black man."

The 81-year-old president made the remark while speaking about his record of appointing black individuals in his administration during a BET segment called "Black America Votes."

“And so ... it’s all about, it's all about treating people with dignity. And it's about making sure that, look. For example, look at the heat I’m getting because I named a, uh, the secretary of defense, the black man,” Biden began.

“I named Ketanji Brown, I mean, because of the people I’ve named,” Biden said, making a reference to Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson.

The video clip of Biden appearing to forget the name of Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin quickly went viral online.

The verbal miscue comes at a time when his critics are questioning his cognitive abilities, and top leadership in his own party is calling on him to drop out of the presidential race with only 109 days until the 2024 election.

Also in the BET interview, Biden conceded that he would abandon his re-election campaign if he had a "medical condition."

Biden told BET News' Ed Gordon, "If I had some medical condition that emerged, if somebody — if doctors came to me and said you got this problem, that problem."

In an interview with ABC News a week after the disastrous debate, Biden declared that only the "Lord Almighty" could persuade him to discontinue his presidential campaign.

Last week, Biden mistakenly referred to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as "President Putin" during a NATO event regarding U.S. support for Ukraine in its war against Russia.

"And now I want to hand it over to the president of Ukraine, who has as much courage as he has determination, ladies and gentlemen, President Putin," Biden said.

Biden started to walk away from the podium until he suddenly realized his faux pas.

He corrected himself by saying, "President Putin? We're going to beat President Putin."

Also last week, Biden wrongly referred to Vice President Kamala Harris as "Vice President Trump."

On Wednesday, the White House announced that Biden had tested positive for COVID-19, and he would isolate at his beach house in Delaware.

Sleepy Joe’s reaction to Kamala Harris’ latest word salad is PRICELESS

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have many things in common, the most notable being their mutual desire to implode the nation.

But they’re also on par when it comes to the art of rhetoric. Both are laughably inarticulate – she’s a master of word salads, while he’s adept at confusing everyone with his incoherent, slurred speech.

A perfect union.

At a recent roundtable meeting with President Biden, Al Sharpton, and other civil rights leaders, the VP delivered (or shall we say attempted to deliver) a speech about the Jacksonville shooting.

Per usual, her delivery was a hot mess.

“Our country was founded on many noble principles, including ‘e pluribus unum’ – out of many, one,” she begins, “and to live up to those ideals, I think at this moment in time requires moral clarity on behalf of every American about what is at stake right now.”

“The vast majority of us have so much more in common than what separates us, yet there are those who are intentionally trying to divide us as a nation,” she continues.

“Yeah, two of them are sitting right there at that table,” interjects Pat Gray.

“I believe each of us has a duty – a duty to not allow factions to sever our unity,” she drones, adding that “our diversity is our strength, and our unity is our power as a nation.”

If that gibberish wasn’t ironic, hypocritical, and ridiculous enough, just wait, because while Kamala blathers on and on about the threat to the unity of the country, Sleepy Joe is putting on his own show. Although we’re pretty sure he doesn’t even know it.

Pat plays the video again but this time zeroes in on the president, who looks like he just woke up after months of hibernation.

Not only is his mouth hanging open, but he also seems to be randomly flipping through the pages of his binder (at a glacial pace, of course).

“I think he realizes halfway through her speaking – ‘oh, you’re talking?”’ Keith points out.

“Close your mouth, Joe,” Pat says.

If you need a laugh, this is for you: Top 20 DUMBEST/WEIRDEST things Joe Biden has ever said

Sleepy Joe is known for a lot of things — for example, his elegant, articulate style of rhetoric.

That was obviously sarcasm.

If there’s one thing the left and the right can agree on, it’s that Joe Biden says some crazy things.

And Pat Gray is determined to relish each and every one of them.

“We’ve compiled the 20 dumbest/weirdest/gaffiest things he has said over ... his career,” he says, and while they’re all worthy of side-splitting laughter, here are a few of the highlights:

#20: “And it happens to be, as Barack says, a three-letter word: jobs — J-O-B-S.”

#8: “We hold these truths to be self-evident! All men and women created by the goal, you know, you know the thing.”

#7: “God save the queen man” (which was said long after her death, we’ll add).

#5: “I got hairy legs that turned that that that that that that that that turn uhh blonde in the sun. The kids used to come up and reach in the pool and rub my leg down ... so I learned about kids jumping on my lap, and I love kids jumping on my lap.”

“That’s so weird!” booms Pat.

But some of these are arguably ever weirder. To hear the remainder of Pat’s list, watch the full clip below.

Someone at the White House might have Alzheimer’s– can you guess who?

Pat Gray thinks there might be cause to believe that a certain someone at the White House has Alzheimer’s, a degenerative disease that impairs memory and other cognitive functioning.

Before formulating a hypothesis, however, Pat reads off the seven stages of the disease.

He only makes it to stage three before the symptoms begin sounding oddly familiar.

One of the signs health care providers look for in stage three is “difficulty with tasks in social settings,” Pat reads.

“Can you think of anybody in the U.S. government who might have that?” he sardonically asks Keith.

Pat then moves on to stage four: moderate cognitive decline, which “includes forgetting recent events.”

“Wow — like when he was asked … ‘When was the last time you were out of the country?’” and “he couldn’t remember” despite having just returned from Ireland two days prior.

Sounds suspicious …

Stage five involves the “inability to learn something new.”

Even simple instructions, such as “exit stage left and just walk down the stairs,” have proven too much for this individual to handle in the past.

“They have to write it down for him, and he has to follow those very specific instructions just to get off stage,” Pat says.

Stage six occurs when an individual often “[wanders] and [gets] lost.”

“Duh — he’s at stage six,” Keith laughs.

If you haven’t already figured it out, the “he,” unsurprisingly, is none other than Joe Biden.

Although the president has no formal diagnosis that we’re aware of, he certainly exhibits a number of the telltale signs.

Meet the two faces of Joe Biden: Genial grandpa vs. abusive old man

President Joe Biden isn’t the sweet, old, ice cream-obsessed man the media has made him out to be.

The president reportedly has a short temper and consistently lashes out at others within his own administration.

A report from Axios writes: “The president's admonitions include: 'God dammit, how the f**k don't you know this?!,' 'Don't f**king bullsh*t me!' and 'Get the f**k out of here!' — according to current and former Biden aides who have witnessed and been on the receiving end of such outbursts."

While the outbursts are a clear sign of dementia to Mark Levin, apparently, Biden’s aides believe it would be beneficial for Biden to show more of his angry side to the public.

“Those who know people who have dementia know that this is stage five. It’s stage five. They get anxiety, they can’t control their temper, their outbursts, many times, they don’t even know that it’s taking place,” Levin comments.

“Cursing, dropping the F-bombs, and so forth, this is completely in line with a dementia diagnosis, and that’s what he’s got,” he adds.

Levin thinks the media just wants to prepare Americans to see this side of Biden so they aren’t as shocked by his outbursts.

“The media and the rest pretty much want us to get used to it. ‘Oh, that’s just Joe,’” he continues.

Levin also believes having a leader in the White House incapable of controlling his anger is clearly not in the best interest of America.

“This is about the United States of America. This is about the most powerful office in the world. A man who decides whether we go to war or not, whether we use certain weapons or not, a man who decides what kind of economy we’re going to have, a man who decides on a host of issues that affect each and every one of our lives every day.”

'Wrong by a million': Biden administration wildly misstates job growth

President Joe Biden's Department of Labor estimated that nearly 1,047,000 jobs were added in the second quarter of 2022.

Biden referenced this figure on more than one occasion as evidence of his administration's successful leadership.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia issued an assessment last week showing that job growth in Q2 2022 was closer to approximately 1% of that figure, revealing that Biden, despite promising not to engage in such conduct, may have been promoting "malarkey" ahead of the midterm elections.

What are the details?

The Philadelphia Fed stated in a Dec. 13 report that "employment changes from March through June 2022 were significantly different in 33 states and the District of Columbia compared with current state estimates from the Bureau Labor of Statistics' (BLS) Current Employment Statistics (CES)."

The BLS is a unit of the Biden administration's Department of Labor.

Contrary to the BLS' suggestion, the Philadelphia Fed's assessment "indicated higher changes in four states, lower changes in 29 states and the District of Columbia, and lesser changes in the remaining 17 states."

Drawing on "more comprehensive, accurate job estimates released by the BLS as part of its Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages (QCEW) program," the Philadelphia Fed determined that "10,500 net new jobs were added during the period rather than the 1,121,500 jobs estimated by the sum of the states; the U.S. CES estimated net growth of 1,047,000 jobs for the period."

That's a growth overestimation by nearly 11,000%, or around 1,036,500 jobs.

"Payroll jobs in the nation remained essentially flag from March through June 2022 after adjusting for QCEW data," the report added.

Paul Flora, manager of regional economic analysis at the Philadelphia Reserve, noted that "large revisions occur primarily because the preliminary state estimates are based on a small sample of firms, while subsequent benchmark revisions incorporate other BLS data based on a full count from nearly all firms. Moreover, the BLS issues its benchmark revisions for state employment estimates just once a year."

While preliminary BLS assessments are highly fallible, Biden nevertheless cited his department's estimate with confidence.

The Biden White House issued a statement on July 28, claiming, "Our job market remains historically strong, with unemployment at 3.6% and more than 1 million jobs created in the second quarter alone."

At the time of the White House's July announcement, the Hill reported that the purpose of Biden hyping what now turns out to have been the illusion of a strong job market was to "argue the U.S. is not in a recession."

The Washington Times highlighted how Biden's erroneous boast took place "in the heat of the midterm election campaign."

Earlier that month, Biden boasted, "In the second quarter of this year, we created more jobs than in any quarter under any of my predecessors in the nearly 40 years before the pandemic."

Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) took issue with the Biden administration's misleading estimate, tweeting, "Wrong by a million jobs. This is outrageous."

Scott noted that the Biden administration "has been lying to the American people about our economy to prop up his failed agenda."

“WRONG BY A MILLION JOBS. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS.

@JoeBiden's admin has been lying to the American people about our economy to prop up his failed agenda & I won't stand for it. I'm requesting an immediate meeting with the head of @BLS_gov. WE NEED ANSWERS NOW!”
— Rick Scott (@Rick Scott) 1671206163

Rep. Lee Zeldin (R- N.Y.) said, "This would be the top news story in America if the administration of a Republican President cooked books like this on a jobs report in the home stretch of a midterm election."

In response to the Philadelphia Fed's revelatory report, Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk posed the question, "Should we just assume everything they tell us before an election is a lie?"

ZeroHedge, which reported on an apparent inconsistency with the Labor Department's numbers back in July, posed another question: "How long until Republicans - who take control of the House in January - start hearings to demonstrate to the US that the collapse in the labor market did not start with the Republican takeover but was well in place last summer[?]"

Joe Biden spews 'anti-Irish' slur, confuses wife's father for grandfather, greatly exaggerates Iraq trips, tells implausible story of uncle awarded Purple Heart in gaffe-riddled speech

The latest gaffe-filled speech from President Joe Biden featured him confusing his wife's father for her grandfather, making an implausible claim of how his uncle was awarded the Purple Heart, and greatly exaggerating how many trips he made to Iraq and Afghanistan. President Biden also struck a nerve in the same speech when he denigrated Irish people.

Biden delivered a speech to U.S. veterans during a town hall event on Friday in New Castle, Delaware.

Biden praised 102-year-old World War II veteran Ray Firmani for flying 25 missions over Germany. Firmani responded, "Thank you so much."

Then Biden inexplicably and incorrectly delved into his family's heritage.

The 80-year-old Biden told Firmani, "Thank you. I may be Irish, but I’m not stupid."

President Biden continued, "I married Dominic Giacoppa’s daughter. So, you know, I got a little Italian in me now, you know?"

However, Jill Biden's father is Donald Carl Jacobs from Hammonton, New Jersey. Jill's grandfather is Domenic Giacoppo – who is a second-generation immigrant from Italy.

Jill's mother is Bonny Jean Godfrey, who is of English and Scottish descent. Jill's grandmother Mabel Sarah Blazer is of German descent.

— TheBlaze (@TheBlaze) 1671212758

Some reactions on Twitter declared Biden's comment about the Irish to be demeaning.

Daily Signal senior reporter Mary Margaret Olohan decried Biden's remarks as a "hate crime" against Irish people.

Washington Examiner investigative reporter Jerry Dunleavy explained, "Biden loves this Bidenism (he’s said it in the past before) — just casual old school anti-Irish stereotyping, but he thinks it’s a fun part of his gift of the gab because he considers himself Irish (his great-great-great grandfather moved to America from Ireland in the 1800s.)."

Businessman Eoghan McCabe tweeted, "Irishman here. I feel neutral because I think he actually is stupid."

Biden made the exact same disparagement about the Irish as well as confusing Jill Biden's grandfather and father on St. Patrick's Day in March.

Also during Friday's speech, Biden made a gaffe or outright lied about how his uncle received the prestigious Purple Heart award.

Biden told the American veterans:

You know, I — my dad, when I got elected Vice President, he said, “Joey, Uncle Frank fought in the Battle of the Bulge.” He was not feeling very well now — not because of the Battle of the Bulge. But he said, "And he won the Purple Heart. And he never received it. He never — he never got it. Do you think you could help him get it? We’ll surprise him.”

So we got him the Purple Heart. He had won it in the Battle of the Bulge. And I remember he came over to the house, and I came out, and he said, “Present it to him, okay?” We had the family there.

I said, “Uncle Frank, you won this. And I want to… He said, "I don’t want the damn thing." (Laughter.) No, I’m serious. He said, "I don’t want it.' I said, "What’s the matter, Uncle Frank? You earned it." He said, 'Yeah, but the others died. The others died. I lived. I don’t want it."

However, Biden’s father, Joseph R. Biden Sr., died on Sept. 2, 2002. Joe Biden officially became vice president on Jan. 20, 2009.

Frank Biden died in 1999.

The New York Post reported, "Frank Biden’s tombstone does not identify him as a Purple Heart honoree, nor does his obituary. A partial registry of known Purple Heart recipients also doesn’t note anyone by that name receiving the award, though that database is not comprehensive."

Forbes reported, "There doesn't appear to be any record of Biden giving his uncle the honor—the president hasn't mentioned the story in the past, there have been no news articles written about it and Frank Biden's name does not appear on a list of recipients held by the National Purple Heart Hall of Honor, though the list is incomplete."

“Joe Biden says after he was elected VP, he awarded his Uncle Frank with a Purple Heart he earned at the Battle of the Bulge.

There is no evidence any of that is true — and Biden's uncle died in 1999, while Biden wasn't elected VP until 2008.”
— RNC Research (@RNC Research) 1671248658

Biden also greatly exaggerated how many times he has visited Iraq and Afghanistan.

Biden claimed, "And, you know, I think that there’s a — I’ve been in and out — not as a, obviously, combatant — but in and out of Afghanistan and Iraq and these areas 38, 39 times as — not as President, only twice as President, but from the time I was a senator, but particularly when I was Vice President."

Biden exaggerated his number of visits to the Middle Eastern countries back in 2019, and at the time the Biden campaign admitted that the correct number of trips is 21.

The Daily Mail noted that Biden was last in Iraq in 2016, and last visited Afghanistan in 2011. Biden has not visited Afghanistan or Iraq as president.
