'Drag saves lives!' Drag queens stand up for student-led drag show at high school; one verbally battles opposing voices

Drag queens showed up at an Arizona school board meeting earlier this week in support of a student-led drag show set for Saturday at a high school.

What are the details?

KVOA-TV reported that during the Tucson Unified School District board meeting Tuesday night, dozens of parents and students spoke out in support of the drag show at Tucson High School.

One drag queen who spoke looked vaguely demonic, sporting what appeared to be long claws, bug antennae, and a necklace with purple baby doll parts.

The drag queen stood at a podium turned sideways and appeared to mostly speak to audience members instead of the school board members:

The drag queen had quite a bit to say:

I was an elementary, middle, and high school student at TUSD, and ... I began doing drag in middle school. I was not coerced in any way to do so ... it was all my choice. And by doing drag, that saved my life. I faced transphobia and homophobia every day at school. It was horrible, and if I did not have drag in my life, I don't know where I would be. Drag saves lives! And we need to make a stance that we understand that, that we know that this is an art form like any other, and through art we can change lives, we can save lives, and by making a stance we show all queer people that we love and care about them. By opposing drag in school, you are opposing trans people, you are opposing queer people of all kinds, and you are showing us that you do not care about us.

At that point it appeared that an audience member interjected, but the drag queen answered back, "It absolutely is true." The conversation appeared to continue as the drag queen added, "If you care about me, then you should understand that this is what we need." As the crowd cheered, the drag queen continued, "You should understand that this is exactly what saved my life. Do you understand? Drag saved my life."

After another apparent comment from the audience, the drag queen asked, "What do you suppose I could have done with my life other than this? This is my art, this my world, this is everything to me. It may seem silly to you. I'm a clown, I'm a clown. It looks silly, it sure does. But this is my everything."

Here's the clip of the drag queen's address:

What else?

KVOA said Saturday's event would be the second annual drag show on the high school campus.

Another speaker was Tucson High School senior Adrian Molina — one of the lead organizers of the show and a member of the extracurricular club Q-Space, the station said. Molina plans to participate in the drag show, KVOA said.

"It’s nothing bad, it’s nothing harmful," Molina said during the meeting, according to the station. "It just allows, it has allowed me personally to express parts of myself that I have never been able to express. It has made me explore myself and grow more as a person."

Student Jaye Kandzerski added, "We started this club to have a safe space to be able to learn and grow about our history and our community together, and we plan the drag shows as a way to express ourselves through art," KVOA said.

The station added that while most meeting attendees supported the drag show, a few parents did not.

"I’m just absolutely opposed to tax dollars being used to open up a school on a weekend for an activity like this," one parent said, according to KVOA. "This is not a school event. It’s a personal whatever, and they can do it wherever they want to."

A woman clearly against the event turned to face the drag show supporters and said sharply, "We are the adults, and you are the children! Children can embrace their gender confusion without the drag shows!"

Anything else?

Board President Dr. Ravi Shah told the station he supports students freely expressing themselves in this way — and that he will be in the drag show audience.

"A drag performance is different in a different setting. It’s very different in a late night bar, club, compared to what we will expect from our high school performers," Shah said, according to KVOA. "Keep an open mind and support our students. Our goal is to create safe environments to exercise their rights and freedoms to express themselves."

The station added that the drag show does not need school board approval.

Video: Pathetic left-wing protesters try shutting down Matt Walsh's 'Rally to End Child Mutilation' but have complete meltdowns instead

Matt Walsh's "Rally to End Child Mutilation" attracted an estimated 3,000 people Friday at the Tennessee State Capitol — as well as a small group of foul-mouthed, left-wing protesters who made several pathetic, unsuccessful attempts to shut down the event, according to the Daily Wire.

The large crowd was solidly with Walsh's cause to end medical transgender treatments for children and easily drowned out the protesters.

What are the details?

Twitter videos of the event documented numerous incidents of leftists melting down over the rally's message.

Radicals held up signs that read "Nazi lives don't matter" and "fascists f*** off." At one point protesters surrounded some Walsh supporters in the crowd and chanted over a megaphone, "F*** around, you're gonna find out."

One unnamed protester claimed to have taken hormone blockers and attempted to tell attendees that the treatment is life-saving and "completely reversible" if children change their minds. The protester argued that puberty is traumatic for some children, so "gender-affirming" treatment is necessary for minors.

Event speakers included U.S. Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.), Robby and Landon Starbuck, Scott Newgent, and former U.S. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, who denounced her Democratic party affiliation earlier this month.

Far-left protesters attempted to drown out a speech by de-transitioner Chloe Cole by repeatedly shouting, "F*** you, fascist."

Cole discussed her emotional journey of being born a girl but deciding to transition and undergo a double mastectomy at 18 years — then ultimately de-transitioning. Cole now dedicates her time to speaking out against irreversible gender-mutilating hormone therapies and surgeries on minors.

Some leftists didn't like that very much.

"[Cole] is a fascist, and she doesn't care about other trans youth," one leftist protester told the Daily Wire. "She's using her own experiences to s**t on thousands of others that want to kill themselves because people like this won't let them."

When Matt Walsh walked on stage, radical protesters continued trying to chant and shriek over the rally.

One protester was captured on video calling Walsh "a far-right lunatic propagandist." The protester stated, "If you support anything he f***ing says, you're indoctrinating everyone you know into being a Nazi."

Despite the best efforts of the leftists, the vast majority of the crowd turned up in support of Walsh.

Walsh's stated during his speech that "these people here don't want you to hear what we have to say because they're cowards. They can't engage in the argument. All they could try to do is shut us down and silence us, but it's not going to work. We're still here. We're not going anywhere."

Walsh explained that the purpose of the event was to rally together "to protect our children." He accused the far-left protesters of "victimizing and preying upon kids."

"As Tennesseans, do we believe in castrating children? Do we believe in that? No. Do we believe in drugging and mutilating kids? They believe it — we don't," Walsh said. "Are we going to allow this in our state? Are we going to do what they want us to do, which is to sit back in silence and allow our kids to be victimized?"

He added, "The reason they're acting this way is because they are losing, and they know it. They're losing. And they will continue to lose as long as we continue to fight all across the country."

'This is inappropriate behavior': 'Creepy' Joe Biden caught on video touching girl, giving her dating advice

A new video of President Joe Biden touching a girl has surfaced. President Biden has made a habit throughout his political career of placing his hands on women. Biden previously promised that he would be "more mindful about respecting personal space" of others.

On Friday, President Biden made an appearance at Irvine Valley College in Irvine, California. Biden spoke to the small crowd about lowering costs for American families with a focus on health care.

Reporter Kalen D’Almeida from TPUSA's Frontlines captured the moment that Biden touched the girl at the community college.

The girl appears to pose for a photo with the president – who is directly behind her. Biden then slides his left hand on her shoulder.

Biden leans in and gives the girl dating advice, "Now, a very important thing I told me daughter and granddaughters – no serious guys until you're 30."

D'Almeida said, "As she looks back appearing uncomfortable, Secret Service appears to stop me from filming it."

There were immediate reactions on Twitter to Biden's "creepy" behavor.

Washington Examiner chief political correspondent Byron York asked, "Why does he do this?"

Radio host Gerry Callahan satirically stated, "So good to have decency and respect back in the White House."

Rep. Anthony Sabatini (R-Fla.) remarked, "VERY late stage Roman Empire."

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-K.Y.) wrote on Twitter, "This is inappropriate behavior. It’s not endearing or charming; it’s creepy. The fact that he’s been using this line for decades while touching girls doesn’t make it OK."

Fox News contributor Lisa Boothe added, "There are way too many videos like this."

There are numerous video clips of Biden inappropriately touching young girls and women in the past.

“If that wasn't disturbing enough, in this clip, Biden not only touches a young woman but smells her hair, kisses her, whispering something into her ear, only to tell her "see you back home, I hope" after visibly creeping out her and who I assume is her mother.”

Biden has previously used the line about "no serious guys" until you're in your thirties numerous times. The progressive media outlet Slate compiled a list of the many times Biden has told young girls to stay away from relationships.

“Biden almost always seems to immediately inquire about the age of the girls he meets during these ops. He also has a habit of creepily saying "no serious guys till you're 31." "Serious" guys? The way he handles young girls is discomforting to watch. You can see it on their faces.”
— RAM (Richard Armande Mills) (@RAM (Richard Armande Mills)) 1510579950

Accusations of inappropriate touching and worse have been levied against Biden in the past.

Tara Reade – the former aide to Biden when he was a senator – has accused him of forcibly kissing her and digitally penetrating her without her consent in 1993. Biden has denied any wrongdoing.

Lucy Flores – a former Democratic Nevada state assemblywoman – claimed that during a 2014 Democratic campaign rally in 2014 that then-Vice President Biden inappropriately toucher her and kissing her on the head, according to the New York Times.

Progressive media outlets Vox and BuzzFeed have pointed out Biden's history of inappropriately touching females. Even liberal NBC News and Time questioned Biden's "inappropriate touching."

The allegations of touching girls and women forced Biden to issue a video statement on the allegations right before he launched his 2020 presidential campaign.

“I shake hands, I hug people, I grab men and women by the shoulders and say, ‘You can do this.’ Whether they are women, men, young, old, it’s the way I’ve always been. It’s the way I show I care about them, that I listen,” Biden said in April 2019. “Social norms have begun to change, they’ve shifted. And the boundaries of protecting personal space have been reset. And I get it. I get it. I hear what they’re saying, I understand it. And I’ll be much more mindful. That’s my responsibility and I’ll meet it.”

Last month, Biden made headlines for a bizarre comment about a 12-year-old girl.

During a speech in Washington, D.C., Biden motioned to someone in the audience.

"But guess what, we got a lot to do. You gotta say hi to me," Biden said in the middle of his speech. "We go back a long way. She was 12, I was 30, but anyway. This woman helped me get an awful lot done, but anyway."

VIDEO: Protesters in Huntington Beach fight back against Newsom's curfew and California lockdowns

Protesters gathered in Huntington Beach to resist California Gov. Gavin Newsom's new coronavirus curfew. The protest, which mostly party-like atmosphere, saw demonstrators merrily dancing and singing.

On Thursday, Newsom issued a new COVID-19 curfew that prohibited "non-essential work, movement and gatherings" in the state's "purple tier," which are counties where there are more than seven cases per 100,000 residents. California considers these areas to have "widespread" coronavirus outbreaks. Most of the state, which has a population of 40 million, is labeled as having widespread outbreaks, including all of the major metropolitan areas.

The order states that California counties in the purple tier must prohibit members of other households from gathering "between 10:00pm PST and 5:00am PST, except for those activities associated with the operation, maintenance, or usage of critical infrastructure or required by law."

The order justified the curfew by stating, "Activities conducted during 10:00pm to 5:00am are often non-essential and more likely related to social activities and gatherings that have a higher likelihood of leading to reduced inhibition and reduced likelihood to adhere to COVID-19 preventive measures (e.g., wearing face coverings and maintaining physical distance)."

The order provides an exception: "This order does not apply to persons experiencing homelessness."

The curfew went into effect at 10:00 p.m. PST on Saturday, and will remain in effect until 5:00 a.m. PST on Dec. 21, but "may be extended or revised as needed."

Many Californians felt the curfew is too rigid and took to the streets of Huntington Beach to rally against the Democratic governor's new restrictions. On Saturday night, hundreds of people gathered in defiance of Newsom and to show their support for President Donald Trump.

People waved American, Gadsden, and "Trump 2020" flags as cars honked their horns in support of the anti-lockdown rally. People were chanting: "U-S-A! U-S-A!" and "Latinos for Trump!" Lee Greenwood's patriotic song, "God Bless the USA," was blaring during the protest.

California sheriffs have already come out and said that they will not enforce Newsom's curfew.

Orange County Sheriff Don Barnes issued a statement that his officers would not be enforcing the COVID-19 guidelines.

"Earlier today, the Orange County Sheriff's Department became aware of a limited Stay at Home Order that Governor Newsom's office ordered to go into effect on Saturday, November 21 at 10 PM," Barnes said in the statement. "Throughout the pandemic, the Orange County Sheriff's Department has taken an education-first approach with regard to the public health orders."

"At this time, due to the need to have deputies available for emergency calls for service, deputies will not be responding to requests for face-coverings or social gatherings-only enforcement," Barnes declared.

On Thursday, Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims said, "We've got a lot of things to do, including taking guns away from gang members, stopping narcotic trafficking, and saving children from internet predators. We're not gonna make criminals of normally law-abiding citizens."

Many Californians are still furious with Newsom for disregarding his own coronavirus restrictions and guidelines by not social distancing and not wearing a face mask while eating at a swanky restaurant with several members of different households last week for a birthday party.

Elderly Trump supporter attacked, protesters shoot fireworks at diners, surround hotel of Million MAGA March attendees

Thousands of Trump supporters gathered in Washington, D.C., on Saturday for the Million MAGA March. The first hours of the rally for President Donald Trump was a peaceful protest. Then counterprotesters entered the area by mid-afternoon. Right before nightfall, there were numerous attacks on Trump supporters, including an assault of a multiracial family and one man was knocked out. The violence against Trump supporters only grew as the massive crowds from the "Stop the Steal" rally diminished and the sun set.

A swarm of counterprotesters surrounded and harassed an elderly couple holding a Trump flag in Washington, D.C. Some in the group were holding signs for Refuse Fascism, a self-described "national movement organizing to drive out the Trump/Pence regime."

Leftist thug accused of kicking man in head from behind and knocking him out after repeatedly punching him is sentenced to prison

Marquise Love — accused of kicking a man in the head from behind and knocking him out cold after repeatedly punching him amid a Portland protest in August — has been sentenced to 20 months in prison, KOIN-TV reported.

Here's the clip of the head kick. (Content warning: Language):

— Kalen From Scriberr (@Kalen From Scriberr)1597643318.0

What are the details?

Love received the sentence after pleading guilty to third-degree assault and felony riot as well undergoing "months of pretrial negotiations and a judicial settlement conference," the station said, citing the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office.

More from KOIN:

His guilty plea acknowledges that he caused physical injury to the victim, identified as Adam Haner, and that "he and others engaged in tumultuous and violent conduct and created a grave risk of causing public alarm."

The DA's office said Haner, as well as law enforcement, the court and the state, found the resolution in this case "appropriate." Haner was not personally at the sentencing hearing on Monday, but has previously said in interviews with the media that he hoped Love would learn from what happened.

Love apologized to the victim in court, according to the DA's office, and reportedly expressed genuine remorse.

"The video of this assault is violent and shocking. It outraged our community and nation. We are fortunate that the victim's injuries were not as severe as it first appeared they may have been," Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt said in a statement, according to the station. "In the days, weeks and months after this assault, detectives with the Portland Police Bureau worked quickly to identify the suspect and complete the investigation. This is a proper resolution. Marquise Love is accepting responsibility for his actions and the punishment."

After his time behind bars, Love will have to complete 36 months of probation, KOIN reported, adding that any violations could result in additional prison time. He also must undergo an alcohol abuse evaluation and comply with any recommended treatment, the station said.

What's the background?

Portland police identified Love as the suspect seen in cellphone videos repeatedly punching a man who was forced by a mob to sit in the street after which the suspect kicked the victim in the head from behind and apparently knocked him out.

Haner, recounting the incident to KPTV-TV, said he was yanked out of his vehicle and hit the ground, after which the mob "wouldn't let me get up" — and then the beating began.

"I was just standing for myself as a citizen," he told the station, "and if you can't do that on a street, then what can you do?"

Far-left agitators call for death of 'Nazi' cops, scream at NYPD: 'Hope all of your children get raped and killed'

Deplorable demonstrators hurled vicious slurs and made heinous remarks to the faces of NYPD officers on Saturday. Malicious members of an anti-Trump and "anti-fascist" mob wished death upon the children of police officers.

There was an anti-Trump march in Manhattan on Saturday against "racism" and fascism, where the crowd chanted: "Black lives matter!" The march was organized by the United Against Racism and Fascism NYC, a self-proclaimed "broad-based coalition in NYC opposing racism & bigotry, and united in solidarity & action against fascism." The march was promoted by the "New York City Antifa" Twitter account.

Leftist thug suspected of brutal assault is arrested, jailed; victim was repeatedly punched then kicked in head from behind on Portland street

The suspect wanted in connection to a brutal assault on a Portland street over the weekend has been arrested, KPTV-TV reported.

Marquise Lee Love, 25, was booked Friday morning into Multnomah County Jail on charges of riot, coercion, and second-degree assault. His total bail is set at $260,000, jail records indicate.

The station said information surrounding Love's arrest hasn't been released. TheBlaze on Friday afternoon didn't immediately hear back from Portland police regarding the newly reported developments.

What are the details?

Portland police earlier this week identified Love as the suspect seen in cellphone videos repeatedly punching a man who was forced by a mob to sit in the street after which the suspect kicked the victim in the head from behind and apparently knocked him out.

Officers found the injured, unconscious adult male after the Sunday night attack and took him to a hospital, police said.

He was released and is recovering from injuries that aren't life-threatening.

The victim, identified as Adam Haner, earlier was helping a woman who had some of her things stolen, KPTV said.

Haner's girlfriend, Tammie Martin, exited Haner's truck and was tackled to the ground, the station added.

Witnesses told police that a white Ford truck crashed at a nearby intersection, KPTV reported. (Content warning: Language):

Police said protesters dragged the driver out of the vehicle. Another witness called before officers arrived and reported that nine to 10 people were "beating the guy," police said. The following clip shows the suspect punching the victim in the head at least eight times before running at him from behind and kicking him in the head. (Content warning: Language):

Haner, recounting the incident to KPTV, said he was yanked out his vehicle, hit the ground, after which the mob "wouldn't let me get up" — and then the beating began.

"I was just standing for myself as a citizen," he told the station, "and if you can't do that on a street, then what can you do?"
