Is Kamala Harris the worst VP ever? Her recent interview with CBS suggests the answer is a resounding YES

“Is Kamala Harris the worst vice president ever in the history of the country, the world, the universe?” asks Sara Gonzales, admitting that it’s a “very rhetorical question.”

“The obvious answer is yes,” she continues, before playing a clip of Harris’ recent interview with CBS News, where, to Sara’s shock, the mainstream media actually asked some decent questions.

“Most Americans say that they don't think you're doing a good job on the border – you and the administration,” said CBS' Bill Whitaker. “The number of people trying to cross the U.S. southern border is at an all-time high.”

“It's no secret that we have a broken immigration system,” Harris responded. “Short term, we need a safe, orderly, and humane border policy, and long term we need to invest in the root causes of migration, but the bottom line – Congress needs to act; come on, participate in the solution instead of political gamesmanship.”

“You’re soliciting solutions? Let’s meet tomorrow; let's get you impeached; let's get you out of our office; let's absolutely decimate the fact that you were ever even in charge of anything close to the border,” retorts Blaze contributor Jaco Booyens, citing the loss of “85,000 children,” “rape trees,” “cartels flooding across the border, damage to American property, high-speed chases, deaths, [and] murder by illegal aliens.”

Sara agrees, adding that “there is a lot of danger … in the language that [Harris] used when” advocating for a “safe, orderly, and humane border policy.”

She’s essentially saying that “we need to find a way to let all of these people in in a safe, orderly, and humane way,” she continues. “She still wants to let them in, [but] she wants it to be safer for them, not for you.”

But the border chaos wasn’t the only thing discussed in Harris’ interview.

Whitaker also asked about Harris' and Biden’s unremarkable polling results, especially considering Trump’s long list of indictments.

“Why are you not 30 points ahead?” he bluntly asked.

“Well, I’m not a political pundit, so I’m not going to speak to that,” she replied, “but what I will say is this: When the American people are able to take a close look at election time on their options, I think the choice is going to be clear. Bill, we're going to win; let me just tell you that we're going to win.”

“Wow – that sounded confident,” laughs Sara.

Kamala Harris is mocked and ridiculed over embarrassing error in background White House graphic

Vice President Kamala Harris was mocked and ridiculed online after she spoke in front of a background graphic with a embarrassing error.

Harris was speaking at the Essence Fest in New Orleans, Louisiana, when her critics pounced on the spelling error to attack the vice president.

That's because the backdrop misspelled the state's name as "Lousiana" right behind Harris' seat.

"Just another blunder by the worst Administration in the history of our currently not so great country," read one tweet.

"Education under this shameful administration is embarrassing enough, but at least our kindergarteners know the never-ending list of pronouns," replied another critic.

"When I see very basic Public Relation mistakes like this and the awkward fake demeanor, it leads me to believe that once again, you have a junior varsity team that is in over their head. They have my no confidence vote," read another response.

"The incompetence is staggering," said another detractor.

Screenshots of the error were widely circulated on social media.

The embarrassing error was the latest in a series of incidents plaguing the office of the vice president. Defenders of Harris accuse critics of sexism and racism but even some in the White House have accused her of being incompetent and unprepared in various meetings and media briefings.

Harris has done just as poorly in polling — a majority of Americans in one poll said she was not ready to assume the duties of the presidency should anything befall President Joe Biden.

The appearance was seen as an attempt by Democrats to shore up the black vote after several polls showed the pivotal demographic was dropping in support for the party and Biden ahead of the midterms.

Here's video of Democrats courting the black vote:
