Weed is getting stronger — and it could make you schizophrenic

Marijuana may be treated like a harmless recreational drug — but its effects can be devastating.

“There are people who say that it’s really helped them,” Allie Beth Stuckey says. “I’ve also talked to some medical professionals who say that medical marijuana is not a thing.”

While Stuckey believes weed dims the potential of users and renders them fat and lazy, that’s not her only issue with the drug.

Not only is marijuana one of the most used drugs in the U.S., it has a horrifying effect on some people who are otherwise told it’s a harmless drug.

In one study published in May led by researchers from the University of Toronto, it was found that there was an 11-times higher risk of developing a psychotic disorder among teenagers who used cannabis compared with those who did not.

When the analysis was limited to just emergency room visits and hospitalizations, there was a 27-fold increase in psychotic disorders in teenagers who had used marijuana.

In separate Danish and British studies, a link was found between heavy marijuana use and psychiatric disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.

Several other studies reflect similar findings, while doctors have begun sounding the alarm on marijuana use and psychosis.

“It’s not harmless, it’s not innocent, it causes all kinds of problems, and as I said, it can lead to the use of drugs, and with the availability, accessibility of drugs today because of their legality, you are setting your child up for failure,” Stuckey tells parents who might believe that weed isn’t an issue.

The drug is especially dangerous now that a lot of it is laced with fentanyl, which Stuckey says is a “consequence of open borders.”

“THC levels in marijuana have been getting stronger for decades, so it’s not the same, it’s not the same as what you saw maybe 30 years ago when it really was just ski bums getting a little high,” Stuckey says.

'Did she piss herself?': Unhinged 'Karen' goes on drunk tirade at Dallas airport after barred from flight, mocks penis size of cop

Video has surfaced of a woman going on an unhinged tirade after being barred from an American Airlines flight at Dallas-Fort Worth Airport. The woman – who is being described as a "Karen" – admitted to police that she was intoxicated from "very full" vodka beverages before berating a cop over his penis size and his salary.

Citing court documents, the Daily Mail reported that Angela Nicole Killian was arrested in September and charged with resisting arrest.

On Sept. 12, an airliner captain prohibited a woman from boarding a flight over concerns of her becoming an unruly passenger.

The American Airlines staff at the gate of the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport informed police that Killian became belligerent after she was denied entrance to the plane traveling to Bogota, Colombia.

The 44-year-old woman allegedly got in the face and made physical contact with several American Airlines employees after being barred from the flight.

Killian was questioned by a female officer, and she broke down into tears and said she just wanted to go home.

Killian admitted that she consumed two "very full" vodka tonics at an airport bar, but it was not any more than she usually drinks when flying.

"I'm not innocent... I'm definitely not completely sober but, I'm not as drunk as you think I am. I'm just super traumatized," Killian told the officer as seen on the newly released police bodycam video.

Killian's temperament went from sadness to anger as she was detained at the airport.

"I am trying to be nice, and now I'm done so let's call my lawyer," she demanded as seen in the police bodycam footage.

Police gave Killian a chance to cool down, but she repeatedly demanded that she contact her lawyer. They informed her that she was not arrested, and only detained, but she became visibly frustrated by the situation.

The officer then told her that she was under arrest for public intoxication.

Killian became even more enraged after being arrested.

"You pieces of mediocre s**t of your life," Killian lashed out at the cops. "You feel good making $60,000 a year?"

The woman then insulted the male cop by saying that he has a small penis.

Killian is heard on bodycam video telling the cop, "You f***ing tiny piece of s**t. You feel good f***ing your wife with you're f***ing five-inch d**k?"

Killian appears to refuse to walk and descends to the floor on her stomach.

A male officer asks, "Did she piss herself? Yep, she did."

The female officer agreed that the suspect had urinated herself.

However, Killian had another reason for the urine odor.

Killian said, "It's probably the guy who f***ed your wife before he f***ed you."

She then incoherently lashed out at the officers, "You feel good about yourself? You f***ing six five eight d**k stack f***ing short tiny a** d**k... wearing a uniform makes you feel good about yourself? You and your f***ing facial hair.'

Police were forced to strap Killian's legs and carry her out of the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport until she agreed to walk.

After Killian was placed in the back of the police cruiser, officers discussed how much urine they got on themselves.

"I have it all over my leg. You're fine... it's on my pant leg completely, it's seeped through to my leg," a female police officer said.

Online commentator Collin Rugg said, "Karen of the year award goes to this lady."

Killian is scheduled to appear in Tarrant County Criminal Court on April 17. She reportedly has yet to enter a plea.

Potty-mouthed Karen on a kayak tries splashing dad, daughter with oar amid dispute — and loses hilariously

In a video you didn't know you needed today, we are treated to a potty-mouthed, kayaking Karen who tries splashing a father and daughter with her oar amid a dispute on an Australian waterway — and instead, the boss lady ends up going for an unexpected swim.

What are the details?

Benny Larkin and his 14-year-old daughter, Taylor, were boating down Dora Creek in New South Wales, Australia, when they stalled out and were approached by a woman in a kayak, the Daily Mail reported.

The elder Larkin, 33, told the outlet that their engine stopped working while they slowed down to meet the four-knot speed limit — but the woman in the kayak decided he broke the speed rules.

As the angry Aussie moved closer to the father and daughter, cursing them out, she tried to splash them with her oar.

It didn't end well for her.

Amid her liquid offensive, the woman lost her balance — and into the drink she went.

Now clinging to her kayak, the woman continued her verbal battle with dad and daughter — who soon got their engine running and motored away.

Here's the clip. Content warning: language:

The dad has since said he was annoyed by the January confrontation but wanted to remain calm and be a "smart ass" to her instead of losing his temper, the Daily Mail said.

Beyond the confrontation, the elder Larkin told the outlet the woman's splash damaged his onboard CD player and speaker system, which will cost him over $1,000 to fix.

"We were just trying to have some fun on the water, and then some local tried to spoil our day," he told the Daily Mail. "She came out of nowhere and just started abusing us. At first I thought she wanted help, then I realized she was going off her head, so I started filming. She thought I was speeding, but we slowed down before the four-knots zone. She wouldn't let me talk, but I was calm about it. I was being a smart ass back to her. ... She tried splashing me, and it wet all my boat gear, but she got instant karma. When you go for someone, and you fall off your kayak, then that's fair in my eyes. She must have had a bad day or something because she just felt the need to take authority and cause a scene."

'Train Karen:' Woman accused of xenophobic rant against German tourists in viral video is fired from her job

A woman was caught on a viral video going on a xenophobic rant and telling a group of Germans to "get the f*** out of our country" on a New Jersey Transit train. The woman – who the internet has dubbed "Train Karen" – was fired from her job after her abusive behavior went viral online.

Brianna Pinnix, 30, was featured in a video that surfaced on Reddit on Tuesday. She is seen berating German tourists on a New York City-bound train.

The footage shows Pinnix confronting the German tourists. The group mostly laughs off the embarrassing clash.

The woman's boyfriend is seen attempting to de-escalate the tense situation, but Pinnix declares, "I can handle my own."

He warns her that she is going to get arrested, but she doesn't care. The boyfriend then threatens to never talk to Pinnix ever again, but she continues to scold the tourists.

The boyfriend tells Pinnix, "You know I’m an immigrant? I’m an immigrant, too, you know that, right?"

The boyfriend pulls Brianna away from the tourists, but she repeatedly castigates the group of men. "I love you, but get off me," she told her boyfriend.

While the boyfriend holds her back, Pinnix yells, "How about you get the f*** out of our country!"

Many online commentators have said that the woman appears to be drunk.

The video of the cringe-worthy encounter went viral this week.

Pinnix reportedly locked her social media accounts after her xenophobic rant went viral.

According to the New York Post, Pinnix was fired from her job at the New York-based pharmaceutical company.

"Our company has a zero-tolerance policy around prejudicial or discriminatory behavior. After conducting a review of the circumstances, we acted immediately and terminated the employee in question," the company said in a statement. "The former employee’s actions and words are not representative of Capital Rx, and we offer our sincerest apology to those who were hurt."

Pinnix had been a talent acquisition specialist at Capital Rx.

The Case For Casey DeSantis

Casey DeSantis is a picture of classy conservatism and therefore a popular target of corporate media and the radical left.

MSNBC panelists are outclassed then blasted for their attack on Casey DeSantis, whom they called 'America's Karen'

MSNBC panelists' took turns belittling Florida's first lady on Saturday, characterizing Casey DeSantis as both "America's Karen" and as being akin to an antagonistic cultist from a dystopian novel.

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), Megyn Kelly and others quickly fired back, noting that the MSNBC talking heads' venom evidences not only their intolerance for strong conservative women but a fear of Casey DeSantis' efficacy as a mother, a wife, and a politico.

Former Republican Rep. David Jolly, voted out of office in 2016, and Tara Setmayer, the alleged-conservative Lincoln Project member who used to work for CNN, joined the titular host of "The Saturday Show With Jonathan Capehart" Saturday in watching an excerpt of a new DeSantis campaign ad.

Rather than engage with the political themes, which they cast as "dark," or address the specifics of what was said, the pundits decided instead to denigrate Casey DeSantis.

Jolly said, "Casey DeSantis is a fairly compelling political figure in Florida and now nationally. For many, she's the brighter side to Florida's angry governor. For others, she's become America's Karen."

Capehart laughingly repeated, "America's Karen," then noted Jolly had "taken his breath away" with this characterization of Florida's first lady.

Apparently this term was not yet in the MSNBC host's lexicon when in 2020 he raged against white women, suggesting that as a political force, they serve to enforce "patriarchal norms [rather] than dismantling them" and protect that system "where they and their children might lose the shared superiority and protection they get by being attached to powerful White men."

The MSNBC host, who elsewhere stated that men can be women, further insinuated white women maintain so-called institutional racism and that "the Democratic Party should stop wasting so much time on the lost cause of suburban wine moms."

According to the BBC, "Karen," used by Jolly as a pejorative, is a slang term "referencing a specific type of middle-class white woman, who exhibits behaviours that stem from privilege. ... 'Karen' is associated with the kind of person who ... is anti-vaccination, and carries out racist micro-aggressions."

The New York Post corroborated this reading of the term as a racial epithet, noting the term "has become social-media shorthand meaning a middle-aged white woman ... who makes a big fuss, and is not-so-blissfully ignorant."

Casey DeSantis, 43, is a mother of three and former news journalist who battled breast cancer and won. Extra to her successful career on television, she has championed various causes — such as cancer research and hurricane relief — for the betterment of her state while also actively supporting her husband, Gov. Ron DeSantis, both in Florida and in his current presidential bid.

While Jolly reduced Casey DeSantis' life, relations, and accomplishment to a single racially-charged word, albeit with a patriotic modifier, his co-panelist Tara Setmayer suggested Florida's first lady was a "Serena Waterford wannabe," referencing a major character in Margaret Atwood's dystopian novel "The Handmaid's Tale."

Waterford is the barren wife of the villainous Commander Frederick Waterford in the book, which was inspired in part by "the brutal Communist reign of Ceaușescu in Romania" and evinced a "treatment of women [that] is very Islamic."

Setmayer further claimed that Casey DeSantis "needs to cut it out," adding "there's all kinds of names for her."

The Independent reported that Gov. Ron DeSantis responded on Fox News Monday, saying that he and his wife would wear the term "America's Karen" as a "badge of honor."

"My wife is an incredibly strong first lady of Florida, a fantastic mother and a great wife, and that threatens the left," said DeSantis. "So she and I kind of shrug it off because we know it just shows they view her as a threat, because the message that she was bringing in Iowa about the rights of parents and how we are not going to take this anymore with the left trying to indoctrinate our kids, they understand that that resonates not just with Republican parents, with independent parents, and, yes, with Democrat parents."

Gov. DeSantis noted that his wife is "a great advocate for families, a great advocate for children. And I'm thankful that she's my wife. And I'm really honored that she's willing to go out there and press the case. And so we wear criticism from MSNBC as a badge of honor."

— (@)

While the DeSantis couple opted to outclass the MSNBC panelists, Megyn Kelly fired back on her podcast, saying, "If [critics] were saying this sort of thing about a leftie, these same [commentators] would be outraged by the rampant misogyny," reported the New York Post. "But as always, it’s always fair game against a Republican wife. ... They hate her in a special way. It’s almost coming at her more viciously than with [former first lady] Melania [Trump]."

Kelly added, "I think the reason they are reacting so angrily to [Casey DeSantis] is they accurately perceive her as a threat."

Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) suggested that Capehart and his panelists' attacks on DeSantis were "classless, and consistent with that network's chronic and indefensible mistreatment of @MELANIATRUMP. All this is indicative of MSNBC's status as the unscrupulous media arm of the Democratic Party."

TheBlaze reported last month that the executive editor at the Daily beast targeted Casey DeSantis in a deranged rant, stressing that she had neither the ideological mooring nor the aristocratic bona fides needed to qualify for acceptance by the media and the political establishment.

Rather than "America's Karen," Katie Baker, the executive editor of the leftist blog, called Florida's first lady "the Walmart Melania."

"While Casey may be trying to position herself after Jackie Kennedy (good luck) and even Melania, if this weekend is any indication, she’s falling far short. It doesn't matter how many times she wears that ice-blue Badgley Mischka cape-dress. The DeSantis’ will never be Camelot," wrote Baker, adding that DeSantis could never "embody the class and effortless elegance of Michelle Obama or Dr. Jill Biden."

Baker made explicit her classist digs with an allusion to "The Great Gatsby," suggesting that unlike F. Scott Fitzgerald's fictional characters Tom and Daisy Buchanan — inheritors of affluence and wealth — "the DeSantis’ are more like poseurs," bereft also of the Gatsbian wealth that the Trumps can "retreat into."

MSNBC recently provided tips on "how to counter the 'tidal wave of misogyny' spurred by anti-feminist influencers."

While the guidance was tailored to younger minds, juvenile mindsets fitting to disparage a woman in prime time on the basis of her immutable characteristics, age, and political affiliation, might similarly be cured with "consistent and positive engagement with men who are role models for respectful treatment of women."
