Joy Reid gives 'white progressive women' some bad news about black women's interest in Democrat causes after Harris' defeat

MSNBC host Joy Reid remained on her far-left warpath following Vice President Kamala Harris' resounding loss to now President-elect Donald Trump last week, sharing some bad news with "white progressive women."

Reid hopped on TikTok Saturday and said, "I just wanna give some free advice to the white progressives, particularly white progressive women, who may be thinking about marching against the Trump victory, maybe putting back on the P-word hats and doing that thing. I would just say probably don't send any of those invites to any black women you know. I'm just gonna tell you right now they're not coming."

'Yeah,' one commenter wrote to Reid. 'I'm going to be busy vacuuming my ceiling.'

Reid continued: "Like, I'm pretty sure black women have resigned from the ‘Save America’ coalition, ‘Save Democracy’ coalition, and definitely the ‘Save the Democratic Party’ coalition. I think that's probably not happening; I would just keep those invites maybe among your own friends 'cause I don't think they're coming. … I think black women are now [focused] on the [goals of] save black women, prioritize black men, and prioritize black communities, black businesses, and ... the black spaces. But save America, save the Democratic Party? Yeah, I don't think that's happening."

Indeed, Reid on election night complained that "white women" failed to come through for Harris in the battleground state of North Carolina — merely one of Harris' numerous crushing losses in the electoral vote tally.

"Black voters came through for Kamala Harris; white women voters did not," Reid lamented last week. "That is what appears happened in that state." She went on to say that the Harris campaign wasn't able to "flip enough white women" even though women in North Carolina "lost their reproductive rights."

She added during MSNBC's broadcast, "That message obviously was not enough to get enough white women to vote for Vice President Harris, a fellow woman, this will be the second opportunity that white women in this country have had to change the way that they interact with the patriarchy."

How are observers reacting?

In the comments underneath Reid's TikTok video, it appears other black women are agreeing — some rather hilariously — with her prediction that they'll be sitting out future activism for Democrats:

 • "Yeah," one commenter wrote to Reid. "I’m going to be busy vacuuming my ceiling."
 • "I can't I'mm washing my hair, it's gonna take 4yrs," another user announced.
 • "I’m tired!" another commenter shared. "I’m watching 227 reruns that day…"
 • "Facts! On a 4 year PTO…" another user stated.
 • "Thank you," another commenter said. "I'm tired of fighting for others. I have no fight in me right now."

Left-wing editor cries 'Christian nationalism' after flight attendant wishes her 'blessed' night — and backlash is brutal

A left-wing editor said it was evidence of "creeping Christian nationalism" after a flight attendant wished her a "blessed" night — and commenters on X reacted to the journalist's complaint with a barrage of scorn.

Mother Jones editor in chief Clara Jeffery wrote on X, "Creeping Christian nationalism alert: @AlaskaAir flight attendant just wished us a 'blessed' night as we landed in SFO (!) to groans. Other adjectives that would have sufficed: great, awesome, fabulous, amazing, fantastic… As my rowmate said, 'this ain’t Montgomery, sweetie,'" according to various media outlets.

'You have issues greater than a flight attendant’s well wishes.'

It appears Jeffery deleted her controversial X post, which reportedly went live Friday night after her arrival in San Francisco — but plenty of notable observers read it and didn't like it one bit.

Kamala Harris fundraiser Armand Domalewski replied to Jeffery: "Respectfully, I’m a pretty left leaning guy, and I wish folks a blessed day fairly often. It’s just a nice thing to say."

Jeffery shot back: "Eh. It’s a matter of respect for the audience before you. Respecting their space and norms and wishes. Dominant cultures always feel they have a right to enforce their norms and intents. And…way off @AlaskaAir’s brand."

With that, Domalewski smartly retorted, "As a practicing Catholic I don’t feel like being publicly Christian is really the dominant culture here in SF lol."

Others reacted similarly:

Others pointed out that Jeffery herself has used the term "bless" in the past.

Jeffery so far hasn't deleted a pushback post apparently against the derision her "creeping Christian nationalism" statement elicited; not surprisingly, she specifically notes those of the right-wing persuasion:

— (@)

"The thing about being dragged by rw 'alphas' is that they are all so so so dumb," she said.

But Jeffery promptly got dragged yet again as her apparent pushback post has been massively ratioed as of Monday morning with just over 200 likes and nearly 1,000 comments. Here are some of them:

 • "I hate to break it to you sweetie pie, but relatively few of those dragging you are [right wing]. So far it has been mostly [left wing] and centrists and really every tribe on the planet," one commenter observed. "Could be the real [right-wing] 'alphas' think the wicked witch of Mother Jones is just beneath them. Bless your heart."
 • "Looks like you're being dragged by just about everyone, have a blessed day!" another declared.
 • "Maybe log off for a couple years," another suggested.
 • "Have a blessed day," one commenter said.
 • "Clinical psychopaths are quite good at portraying themselves as victims," another noted. "Maybe you should look into that, psycho."
 • "Have you thought that maybe YOU’RE the problem? I mean, look at the comments," another wrote. "Maybe some self reflection would be a good thing for you."

Pair of MSNBC hosts agree if Biden beats COVID, it should 'convey exactly the same thing' as Trump beating assassin's bullet

MSNBC hosts Joy Reid and Jen Psaki agreed that if Democrat President Joe Biden recovers from COVID-19, that should "convey exactly the same thing" as Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump surviving Saturday's assassination attempt and "bouncing right back and going right to his convention."

Reid and Psaki on Wednesday night were on the MSNBC dais for the cable network's coverage of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. Video shows Reid saying, "These two men are both elderly. Donald Trump is an elderly man who, for whatever reason, was given nine seconds to take [an] iconic photo-op during an active shooter situation. Weird situation; we’ll figure that out one day. But his survival of that and bouncing right back and going right to his convention is being conveyed in the media world as a sign of strength."

Numerous commenters ... were dumbfounded by the comparison between Biden's presumed recovery from COVID and Trump surviving an assassination attempt and getting an ear wound as a result.

Reid then turned her attention to Biden, who on Wednesday tested positive for COVID-19, according to the White House.

“This current president of the United States is 81 years old and has COVID," Reid continued. "Should he be fine in a couple of days, doesn’t that convey exactly the same thing? That he’s strong enough — older than Trump — to have gotten something that used to really be fatal to people his age. So, if he does fine out of it and comes back and is able to do rallies, isn’t that exactly the same?”

"It should," Psaki replied before Reid clarified, “I mean, it’s not exactly the same; it’s not the same incident; it’s an elderly man coming ... out of an illness.” Psaki nevertheless repeated, "It should."

How are observers reacting?

Numerous commenters on the video, which was posted to X, were dumbfounded by the comparison between Biden's presumed recovery from COVID and Trump surviving an assassination attempt and getting an ear wound as a result:

 • "Holy f***ing s**t that is next level," one commenter remarked.
 • "We are living in the death of shame," another user declared.
 • "Truly despicable," another commenter stated, "but honestly nothing these two horrible women say would surprise me anymore."
 • "@msnbc is in its death throes," another user wrote. "This is really beyond the paid call of duty."
 • "Every time I think it is not possible to hate the legacy media more ..." another commenter shared.

And the attacks on Steven Crowder begin…

On Monday, November 6, conservative political commentator and host of “Louder with Crowder” Steven Crowder released what appears to be part of the manifesto of the Nashville shooter who killed three adults and three children at the Covenant School on March 27, 2023.

The images had been kept from the public pending completion of the investigation, but Crowder, through unknown means, obtained the images and shared them with the public, who he felt “had a right to know a long time ago” – specifically a right to know that the shooter targeted a specific group: “cr*ackers” and people she associated with white supremacy.

The mainstream media has jumped at the opportunity to twist Crowder’s decision to share the truth into an avaricious desire for “clicks and clout,” says Dave Rubin.

“The media obviously doesn't like Crowder [because] Crowder is competition to CNN,” he explains, so “if he is to expose anything that is true, well, then they have to go after Crowder.”

However, it looks like Crowder was well aware this attack was coming.

In a tweet, he said, “Expect hit pieces from the left wing media saying we released the #NashvilleManifesto for clicks and clout.”

And he was dead right.

Dave shows an email Crowder received from a reporter at the New York Times asking him for comment before she published a story about his publication of the manifesto that would include Covenant parent Brent Leatherwood’s accusation that Crowder’s decision was all about “chasing clicks.”

“We also know that if this wasn't a trans person, if this had been a white supremacist, let's say, or just a white guy, just a Christian white guy – there's no way this manifesto would have been hidden,” Dave adds.

White ESPN reporter who appeared to lecture black NFL head coach about race 'representation' gets bombed on Twitter, issues clarifications

The white ESPN reporter who appeared to lecture a black NFL head coach about race "representation" got bombed on Twitter after the video of the Q&A picked up steam on social media.

The reporter in question, Jenna Laine, issued clarifications Friday in the wake of intense criticism over her line of questioning toward Todd Bowles of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

What's the background?

During a Wednesday press conference, a reporter noted to Bowles that he and Mike Tomlin of the Pittsburgh Steelers are "two of the few black head coaches" in the NFL and asked what his relationship is like with Tomlin. The Bucs and Steelers are scheduled to face off Sunday. The reporter also asked Bowles for his thoughts on Steve Wilks, who also is black, becoming interim head coach of the Carolina Panthers.

"I have a very good relationship with Tomlin," Bowles replied. "We don't look at what color we are when we coach against each other. We just know each other. I have a lot of very good white friends that coach in this league as well. And I don't think it's a big deal ... it's normal."

He added that Wilks has an opportunity to "do a good job" and that, for the three of them, "we coach ball; we don't look at color."

With that, Laine chimed in: "But you also understand that representation matters too, right? And that when young, aspiring coaches — and even football players – they see you guys, you know, they see someone that looks like them, maybe grew up like them, that has to mean something."

Bowles wasn't taking the bait: "Well, when you say ... 'you guys' and 'look like them' and 'grew up like them' means that we're oddballs to begin with, and I think the minute you guys stop making a big deal about it, everybody else will as well."

Bucs Coach Calls Out Press For Dumb Race Question youtu.be

What happened next?

A number of Twitter users came down hard on Laine. Here's a smattering of the nearly 600 comments as of Friday below her post about the press conference:

 • "White liberal women stfu and stop trying to insert yourself into black issues ..." one commenter said.
 • "Hey, privileged white 'journalist' girl who contributes nothing of value to society, and who likely votes Democrat because she's a sheep, maybe let the black guy speak for himself," another user said. "Maybe listen to him, maybe he means what he says, maybe it's true. Just a thought. You clown."
 • "Jenna, you got owned!" another commenter declared. "We’re all SICK of you despicable media people & your racist woke BS! You’re a propagandist & are knowingly part of the problem. You were disrespectful, patronizing & condescending w/the dumb, unnecessary things you said to him. STOP! You’re an embarrassment!"
 • "Glad he called you out for race baiting," another user said.

Laine issues clarifications

Laine didn't let the negative reactions go unchallenged. On Friday she issued clarifications below her main post:

“Let me clarify something...I wasn’t telling Todd Bowles how he should think or feel about racial representation. I was seeking clarity because his response to the initial question from another reporter Wednesday differed quite a bit from this response March 31 when he was hired.”
— JennaLaineESPN (@JennaLaineESPN) 1665667006

She kept going:

“I also would never try to insinuate with my questioning that every Black head coach or Black person grows up the same. Three different coaches with three different life experiences. My intent was — in a group of people, a person can look to one and perhaps identify.”
— JennaLaineESPN (@JennaLaineESPN) 1665667006

Twitter commenters weren't kind:

 • "Backpedaling like a cornerback," one user responded.
 • "You were doing the stereotypical racist liberal thing which is to tell black people how they should feel and think," another commenter said. "We all saw it."
 • "Yeah that’s a bunch of bulls**t," another user wrote."You were projecting your beliefs and priorities onto Coach Bowles. 'But you also understand that representation matters.' If the roles were reversed it would be called 'mansplaining.' This is 'wokesplaining.' It’s always the liberal white woman."
 • "'You guys,' 'Like them'… This woman sounds like a genuine racist hiding behind the cloak of the woke mob," another commenter said. "Good on Bowles for calling out actual racism."

Brian Stelter out at CNN; struggling network cancels his 'Reliable Sources' show

Brian Stelter — who has been long criticized for bias against conservatives, Fox News, and former President Donald Trumptold National Public Radio he's leaving CNN, as the cable network is canceling "Reliable Sources," his Sunday show focused on the media.

What are the details?

Stelter, CNN's chief media correspondent, told NPR in a statement that he's grateful for the show and his team's examination of "the media, truth and the stories that shape our world."

"It was a rare privilege to lead a weekly show focused on the press at a time when it has never been more consequential," he said to the outlet, adding that more would be said on the final episode of "Reliable Sources" this Sunday.

CNN chief Chris Licht told Stelter of the decision Wednesday, NPR said, adding that Licht has been making cuts at the network as part of Warner Bros. Discovery's takeover of the old Time Warner company.

The outlet said Stelter often touted the ratings of "Reliable Sources" on Twitter.

NPR added that investor John Malone — a major financial stakeholder in the new Warner Discovery conglomerate — was among those who has criticized CNN for having become more politicized in the Trump years.

In fact, the outlet said that Stelter in February referred to Malone more than a dozen times amid coverage of the Discovery deal and expressed concern about Malone's influence on CNN.

NPR said Stelter got his start blogging about cable news as a student and later become a media reporter for the New York Times.

How bad has it been?

It's no secret that CNN has been struggling for a while now. Besides the scandalous departures of former head Jeff Zucker and anchor Chris Cuomo and the embarrassingly fast demise of CNN+, the cable network hasn't exactly been a ratings juggernaut.

Things were bad for Stelter, too, in that department. While it was pointed out in May 2021 that "Reliable Sources" had suffered its lowest ratings of the year, the show actually had better ratings when Stelter wasn't hosting it.

Critics have often labeled Stelter a "hall monitor" for the media, and attacks against him — particularly for biased reporting — seemed to grow louder and more frequent over time.

But it didn't seem to faze him.

In February Stelter ran some P.R. for CNN at the end of a "Reliable Sources" show, defending it from critics who said the cable network was "lacking journalism" and dealt in "opinions all the time." Instead, Stelter opined of critics that "they're not watching CNN."

Mark Levin: 'It's utterly unrelated, you damn fool!'

When it comes to hating America, the kings of the left-wing media reside at MSNBC. Need proof? Mark brings the goods as Ali Velshi spews his Marxist propaganda while smearing America and Israel.

You have probably noticed that the people who hate America tend to hate Israel. People on the hard left, whether in the media, the Democratic Party, or academia, hate Israel. They won't call it anti-Semitism, but that's what it is. The standards that they apply to Israel, the attacks on Israel, they don't apply to any other free democratic country on the face of theEarth: France, Britain, Spain, or Germany.

On this episode of LevinTV, Mark reviewed a clip from MSNBC journalist Ali Velshi. In this clip, Velshi said he would soon leave Ukraine with a "heavy heart," primarily because of the suffering he witnessed there.

Velshi claimed he was deeply inspired by the Ukrainians he encountered and that they "showed the world what an existential fight for democracy looks like." At the beginning of the war, Velshi decided to concentrate on the many aspects of the war in Ukraine and brought viewers less coverage of other "important U.S. stories."

Now, brace yourself for what Velshi says next. According to Velshi, his MSNBC colleagues "did an incredible job staying on top of those important stories" and "holding power to account."

Velshi listed the other "important stories": "The continued attacks on voting rights; abortion rights; gay rights; trans rights, and the ongoing brazen attempts to subvert American democracy" and said those stories are "not unrelated to the basic rights under attack in [Ukraine's] fledgling democracy."

"It's utterly unrelated, you damn fool!" Mark exclaimed. "The Ukrainians are being slaughtered. There's genocide taking place, and atrocities of the worst kind."

Mark explained that Ukraine, in reality, more reflects and resembles Republican/conservative views on culture, morality, and governance than the radical left point of view.

Then, Velshi likened the Israeli government to countries like Afghanistan, Syria, China, Myanmar, and India.

"Unbelievable," Mark said. "To throw Israel in with Syria, Afghanistan, and Myanmar? Are you kidding me? [Israel] is an open society. They have a free press, a judicial system, and an opposition party."

"This guy dares to include Israel in his list of tyrannical totalitarian countries, and he attacks Republicans, conservatives, and Israelis while standing there, in Ukraine," Mark said. "Shameful and shameless. What goes on on this network, MSNBC, is disgusting."

Watch the clip for more details.

Left-wing CNN anchor: Fox News hosts decry 'sacrilege' of their burned Christmas tree — but believe Capitol riots 'not such a big deal'

CNN's left-wing anchor Brianna Keilar ripped Fox News hosts Thursday morning in a decidedly smug commentary, saying that they've been overzealous covering the "sacrilege" of Christmas tree set on fire outside their Manhattan offices this week — while also viewing the Jan. 6 Capitol riots as "not such a big deal."

What are the details?

Keilar began her segment noting that the Fox News' Christmas tree "went up in flames" in "an act of arson at a time where crime in America is escalating."

She then insisted that CNN "covered this story as a crime" and added that Fox News also did so — "extensively." In fact, Keilar said, Fox News made their burned tree “the centerpiece of their news day."

After a montage of Fox News hosts commenting on the crime, the camera turned back to Keilar: “Now, no one was injured in this incident. But they could have been. This is a serious incident. Obviously it's incredibly scary to feel that your workplace is under attack, unless ..."

Video of the Capitol riots briefly ran, and then the camera turned back to Keilar, who continued her sentence: "...your workplace is the Capitol. Then, according to many, many Fox hosts, it’s not such a big deal.”

Then more video ran showing Fox New hosts seeming to downplay the Capitol riots, after which Keilar went in the for kill.

“At Fox, when the target is a Christmas tree at their workplace, it is a sacrilege,” she began. “But when the target is the seat of American democracy, it’s not."

Keilar added: "The whole of Congress, as they certify a presidential election that was fair and secure; when the perpetrators are [then-President Donald] Trump supporters in the thousands, four of whom died that day; when the victims are police officers, 140 of whom were injured, and when five police officers have died in the wake of the attack, including four by suicide; when Fox's own colleagues had to take cover inside the Capitol complex on January 6, Fox downplays the attack. And in many cases, flat-out doesn't cover it; ignores that it ever happened."

Oh, but she wasn't done.

"Just imagine if Fox hosts could muster for an armed attack on the Capitol the same outrage that they did for their Christmas tree," Keilar concluded. "Perhaps some of the almost half of Republicans who think January 6 was a legitimate protest might actually see it for what it really was.”

The Christmas tree fire at Fox was a serious incident.
Obviously it's incredibly scary to feel your work place is under attack.
Unless your work place is the Capitol.
Then, according to Fox hosts, it's not such a big deal.
#RollTheTapepic.twitter.com/8kdsfzxFOn
