Jaguar releases insufferably woke ad while Volvo promotes LIFE in new EX90 commercial

Certain car brands are making their political leanings known. Jaguar, for example, recently released an ad in which the brand proved that it’s more committed to DEI and LGBTQ+ causes than it is to selling its own products.

Pat Gray plays the commercial, which features a group of diverse individuals clad in neon, avant-guard clothing doing ... well, nothing — at least nothing related to automobiles.

The phrases “create exuberant,” “live vivid,” “delete ordinary,” “break moulds,” and “copy nothing” are overlaid footage of the strange, almost alien-like actors doing non-car-related activities, such as spinning in a circle while holding a paintbrush, or wielding a sledgehammer.

Perhaps strangest of all is the fact that not a single car or automobile-related item is present in the commercial, making it clear what the company is selling: woke ideology, not cars.

Not only is the company’s advertising insufferably woke, it’s also insufferably stupid, as “U.S. sales are down 80% since 2017.” Given the trajectory of companies that have gone the woke route, it’s likely these sales will plummet even more.

“They only moved 8,000 vehicles last year compared to 350,000 by BMW and Mercedes. And instead of continuing to compete, they're trying to relaunch themselves,” says Jeffy.

“Well, this is a bad relaunch,” says Pat, stating the obvious.

Thankfully, however, Volvo has also released a new commercial, and it is “the exact opposite of the Jaguar ad.”

In this commercial, a couple finds out they’re going to have a baby. The father narrates the story, imagining what it’s going to be like having a daughter. He foresees the challenges, joys, and the fears that come with being a parent. He anticipates who his daughter will be — stubborn like her mom, a rule-bender like her dad.

In the final scene, his pregnant wife walks across the street as another car comes barreling down the road toward her, but because the car is a Volvo and has built-in safety features, an accident is avoided, and both the mother and her baby live. The final scene features the whole family gathered together in the hospital following the baby’s birth.

It’s a tear-jerker of a commercial because it captures the beauty of life and family. It’s also an effective commercial because it’s able to connect these ideas with buying a Volvo EX90.

Caitlin Clark left off US Olympic basketball team, Jason Whitlock says snub in fear of BLM, LGBTQIA 'alphabet mafia bigots'

WNBA star Caitlin Clark was left off the roster for the U.S. Olympic women's basketball team, according to multiple reports. Blaze News columnist Jason Whitlock suspects that important basketball decision-makers snubbed Clark because of fear of Black Lives Matter and LGBTQIA activists.

USA Today's Christine Brennan first reported that Clark was not selected for the Olympic women's basketball team shortly after midnight on Saturday.

Brennan added, "In leaving Caitlin Clark off the 2024 Olympic team, USA Basketball misses a huge opportunity to showcase the most dominant — and ignored — team in sports. I write this as someone who has reported on US women’s basketball at the Olympics since 1984."

Two "long-time U.S. basketball veterans with decades of experience in the women’s game" anonymously told USA Today that Clark was passed over because of "concern over how Clark’s millions of fans would react to what would likely be limited playing time on a stacked roster was a factor in the decision making."

The expected 12-woman Olympic roster is heavy with guards, which is Clark's position.

According to Shams Charania and Joe Vardon with The Athletic, Team USA's roster will include:

 • A'ja Wilson – Las Vegas Aces
 • Breanna Stewart – New York Liberty
 • Diana Taurasi – Phoenix Mercury
 • Brittney Griner – Phoenix Mercury
 • Alyssa Thomas – Connecticut Sun
 • Napheesa Collier – Minnesota Lynx
 • Jewell Loyd – Seattle Storm
 • Kelsey Plum – Las Vegas Aces
 • Jackie Young – Las Vegas Aces
 • Sabrina Ionescu – New York Liberty
 • Chelsea Gray – Las Vegas Aces
 • Kahleah Copper – Phoenix Mercury

Sportswriter Michael McCarthy noted, "Leaving Caitlin Clark off Olympic team is terrible for NBC Sports, which is paying billions for U.S. TV rights. She would have absolutely super-charged Olympic TV audiences the way she did in college and now in the pros. Short-sighted doesn't begin to describe this decision."

As Blaze News previously reported, Clark is nearly tripling WNBA average viewership when she plays and doubling attendance.

"For the first time in American history, women have the biggest star in sports and they don't know how to utilize her."

Whitlock presented a possible culture war reason for Clark's snub.

The host of Blaze Media's "Fearless with Jason Whitlock" wrote on his X social media page on Saturday, "Women's basketball decision-makers are not dumb. They've been bullied by the BLM-LGBTQIA+Silent P Alphabet Mafia bigots."

Whitlock continued, "Same cowardice that built George Floyd statues, turned Juneteenth into a federal holiday, codified same-sex marriage, allows 'kid-friendly' drag shows, let 'Lia Thomas' swim... They keep making offers we don't refuse."

Whitlock concluded, "The Mafia hates Cait. She refuses to publicly worship the Yas Queens and doesn't scissor, so she sleeps with the fishes."

In another tweet, Whitlock declared, "She could replace any of the 12. None are needed to win the gold."

The U.S. women’s Olympic basketball team has not lost a game since 1992 and has won a record seven consecutive gold medal titles.

Whitlock added, "The 'who do you remove from the team?' debate is comical. Like it matters. For the first time in American history, women have the biggest star in sports and they don't know how to utilize her. This is high comedy. They're all Tito. She's Michael. Beat it."

In her first 14 games in the WNBA, Clark has averaged 16.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, 6.3 assists, and 1.5 steals per game.

Clark is also the fastest WNBA player to reach 200 points and 75 assists, accomplishing the feat in 12 games – two fewer games than previous record-holder Sue Bird.

The Indiana Fever rookie does lead the league in turnovers with 5.6 per game.

FBI, DHS, US Navy, and TSA celebrate Pride Month

As government entities and corporations celebrate the LGBT movement in June by recognizing so-called Pride Month, the FBI and other government entities have joined the chorus.

"At the #FBI, we know that diversity makes us stronger. During #PrideMonth, the FBI celebrates our #LGBTQIA+ colleagues’ contributions to our country and our mission," an FBI post on X declares.

'This Pride Month, we thank LGBTQ+ Service members for their contributions to our national security.'

While Blaze News has previously noted that the Defense Department posted about Pride Month, the Navy has shared a post that reads, "Charting a course for equality. Celebrate with the #USNavy this #PrideMonth!"

The Air Force and Space Force both retweeted a post from Defense Sec. Lloyd Austin's that reads, "This Pride Month, we thank LGBTQ+ Service members for their contributions to our national security. As Secretary of Defense, I remain dedicated to making sure that our LGBTQ personnel across the Joint Force can continue to serve with dignity and respect. We applaud your service – and thank your spouses and families who help make that service possible."

The Transportation Security Administration hoisted what appears to be a progress Pride flag outside of its headquarters.

"Each #PrideMonth, we have the incredible opportunity to honor & celebrate our LGBTQI+ workforce. Today, Deputy Administrator Canevari & TSA Pride raised the pride flag outside of @TSA HQ to show our support for & solidarity with this community. Our diversity makes us stronger," TSA Administrator David Pekoske tweeted.

The Department of Homeland Security also posted about Pride Month: "June marks Pride Month, a time to celebrate the many contributions of our LGBTQIA+ workforce and stand with the community – our community – throughout the month and every day. #WeAreDHS #Pride2024"

Former Secretary of State Pompeo calls teachers' union head 'the most dangerous person in the world'

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo called American Federation of Teachers president Randi Weingarten the "most dangerous" individual on the planet, accusing teachers' unions of pushing "filth" on children.

"I tell the story often — I get asked 'Who's the most dangerous person in the world? Is it Chairman Kim, is it Xi Jinping?' The most dangerous person in the world is Randi Weingarten," Pompeo said, according to Semafor. "It's not a close call. If you ask, 'Who’s the most likely to take this republic down?' It would be the teacher’s unions, and the filth that they’re teaching our kids, and the fact that they don't know math and reading or writing."

"If our kids don't grow up understanding America is an exceptional nation, we're done. If they think it's an oppressor class and an oppressed class, if they think the 1619 Project, and we were founded on a racist idea — if those are the things people entered the seventh grade deeply embedded in their understanding of America, it's difficult to understand how Xi Jinping's claim that America is in decline won't prove true," Pompeo said, according to the outlet.

Weingarten has retweeted a post that claimed "it's crucial to teach queer history" amid "#LGBTQIA+ History Month, AND the rest of the year, too."

“💔 Let's honor #ClubQ victims in #ColoradoSprings teaching about why it's important we understand one another & why it's crucial to teach queer history during 🌈 #LGBTQIA+ History Month, AND the rest of the year, too: https://t.co/ssDMU3hf4W

#TransDayofRemembrance @AFTunion”

Weingarten noted that she was unsure whether to describe Pompeo's characterization of her "as ridiculous or dangerous."

"So Mike, let me make it easy for you. We fight for freedom, democracy, and an economy that works for all. We fight for what kids & communities need. Strong public schools that are safe and welcoming, where kids learn how to think & work with others. That's the American Dream!" Weingarten asserted. "And we fight against this kind of rhetoric and hate. Maybe spend a minute in one of the classrooms with my members and their students and you will get a real lesson in the promise and potential of America," she added.

“I know that Mike Pompeo is running for president, and frankly I don’t know whether to characterize his characterization of me in the @daveweigel interview as ridiculous or dangerous. https://t.co/5QBx2lE0K4”

Pompeo served as the CIA director during part of former President Donald Trump's tenure before moving on to serve as secretary of state — Pompeo had previously served as a lawmaker in the U.S. House of Representatives. Now, he's considering the possibility of running for president.

"I haven't decided whether I'm going to run, and my decision whether to run doesn't depend on what lane I'm in or who else gets in the race. I've been at this for decades. The central thesis of the conservative movement is deeply embedded in my DNA, and I care about it. I think it makes America better. I think it makes life for families better," Pompeo said, according to Semafor.

Trump announced his own 2024 presidential bid last week, which means that any Republican candidates who opt to mount their own White House bids will face the former president during the GOP presidential primary.

For Catholics, June Isn’t ‘Pride Month,’ It’s Dedicated To The Sacred Heart Of Jesus

It's time for Catholics, and all Christians, to reassert devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus over and against 'Pride Month.'
