Former President Donald Trump reportedly considering relaunching MAGA rallies as he ponders 2024 presidential bid

Former President Donald Trump is reportedly discussing the resumption of his Make America Great Again rallies as he allegedly mulls over a 2024 presidential bid.

On Wednesday, CNN reported that the former president may also hold events to support candidates challenging Republicans who have criticized him, including Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) and more.

What are the details?

A source purporting to be a Trump aide told CNN that the rallies would "definitely be different in terms of the setup," due to COVID-19, but that the team "will probably use a lot of those same vendors again."

The source also added that the former president may resume his rallies beginning in May.

CNN reported:

Recently, Trump has initiated discussions about resuming the signature MAGA rallies that fortified his nascent political movement in 2016 and continued throughout his presidency. While he has vowed to travel to Alaska to campaign against Murkowski and is said to be interested in hosting campaign events for some of the candidates he's already endorsed, aides said the logistics are still being worked out but that he could resume rallies as early as May.

"It will definitely be different in terms of the setup, but we got really good at planning these events in 2020, so we will probably use a lot of those same vendors again," said the person close to Trump's post-White House operation.

What else?

During a Wednesday interview with Dan Bongino, Trump said that he plans to get back on the rally circuit "soon."

"I never tell you this in person, but we need a Trump rally. Can you throw one soon, just for fun?" Bongino asked.

Trump responded, "We'll do one soon. They love the rallies. We did 56 rallies and we never had an empty slot or seat."

He also added that the rallies during his 2020 campaign "averaged 25,000 people" per rally.

According to Newsmax, Trump also discussed the integrity of the 2020 presidential election.

"We had a corrupt election," Trump insisted. "We had corrupt [ballot] counters. The counters were more important than the candidate."

The former president added that if he runs for president once more in 2024, he would run to win and said that the best time to announce such a run would be following the 2022 midterm elections.

"I could do it sooner, but I think right after the [2022] election would be good, especially if you have a good election," he said.

UFC fighter Jorge Masvidal says he may start attending conservative rallies 'to keep the peace' after seeing left-wing violence

Jorge Masvidal, a conservative supporter of President Donald Trump, says that he may show up at conservative rallies after witnessing the violence leftist extremists carried out over the weekend at pro-Trump rallies.

What are the details?

On Saturday, Masvidal took to Twitter with his displeasure over the antics, writing, "I bet I can get a couple of teammates and start attending these things #supernecessary. And I say this not to promote violence. To keep the peace. We are all in this together. #theressurection [sic]."

As reported by the Daily Wire, the famed fighter's remarks came as a caption to a video he retweeted featuring some of the violence that took place over the weekend in places such as the "Million MAGA March" in Washington, D.C.

The video has apparently since been deleted from the tweet, but Masvidal's remarks remain.

What else?

Masvidal, an unapologetic Trump supporter, stumped for the president during the 2020 presidential election as part of a movement called "Fighters Against Socialism."

In a video for the campaign, Masvidal said, "I'm gonna let you in on something. The Democrats just think that they're entitled to the Latino vote. They think that we just have to hand it over to them. That's right. We sure as hell don't. They've got to show us what they can do for us, what they can do for our communities. We're not going to buy the same wolf tickets and false promises that destroyed great countries like Venezuela and Cuba. It's not gonna happen."

Taking a swipe at former Vice President Joe Biden and his 2020 presidential campaign, "You know what else is not gonna work for them? Playing 'Despacito' on your cell phone to pander to us. Hell no. You gotta give us some credit for having heads on our shoulders. I'm going to wrap this up for some words of Barack Obama. He said, 'Elections have consequences.' That is true. And those words have never been more true than they are today. We either re-elect President Trump and keep America great ... or we let Joe Biden destroy the greatest country the world has ever seen."

He concluded, "I'm a professional athlete, and I've been one for most of my life, so I've seen things through a sports lens — that makes Donald Trump our head coach, and before the global pandemic we were winning Super Bowls. And when you're winning Super Bowls, you don't fire the coach — it doesn't matter if you don't like the plays he runs, the players he puts on the field, or what he says on Twitter. You sure as hell don't replace him for another coach that's been in the business for 47 years at every level and never won a f***ing game."

BLM and anti-fascist supporters attack multiracial family at Million MAGA March

An ugly scene developed at the Million MAGA March on Saturday when a Black Lives Matter supporter and a man who was marching with an anti-fascist group harassed a multiracial family that was out showing their support for President Donald Trump.

Thousands of Trump supporters converged on Washington, D.C., on Saturday to rally around Trump. However, tensions flared in the afternoon after hordes of counterprotesters assembled.

One of the counterprotest groups at the Trump rally was Refuse Fascism, a self-described "national movement organizing to drive out the Trump/Pence regime." The anti-fascist group had announced days earlier that they were holding a counterprotest to "overwhelm" Trump supporters.

"We are gathering non-violently," Lucha Bright of Refuse Fascism told WUSA-TV. "We are not intending to engage them. We want to overwhelm them with our numbers. If they attack us, that is not out of the realm of possibilities of what they do. But we are hoping, especially if we gather in large numbers, that we will overwhelm them with our strength."

Video from Saturday shows a group dressed in all black holding bright orange "Refuse Fascism" signs pursue a multiracial family, which included three young children. Several people in the mob get in the face of the black mother who is wearing a Trump jacket and pushing a stroller with an infant at Black Lives Matter Plaza.

A woman wearing a "Black Lives Matter" shirt gets in the face of the mother, but is separated by a man, presumably the father. Then the BLM supporter gets in the face of the father, and it sounds as if she screams at him, "You're an ugly b****!" The mother yells, "Get away!" One of the daughters is seen crying.

The father prods the woman with his flag pole to keep the woman at a distance. The woman then charges at the father to try to take away his Gadsden flag, he waves her off with his hand. Then a man dressed in all black that was walking with the anti-fascist group advances at the father and attacks him.

The father retaliates by hitting the man with the flagpole. The woman runs at the father and is also struck with the flagpole. The father gets shoved to the pavement, and he falls on top of the small child, who screams in pain. Police immediately separate the two sides.

Video taken by photojournalist Jorge Ventura shows the woman and the man had bruises on their heads.

Anarchist and anti-fascist groups planning to 'overwhelm' 'Million MAGA March' in DC — Trump hints at attending

Trump supporters will gather Saturday in Washington, D.C., for the "Million MAGA March" and a "Stop the Steal" rally. Anarchist and anti-fascist groups have responded by planning counterprotests.

Pro-Trump groups from around the country will converge on the nation's capital this weekend to rally around President Donald Trump. The Trump supporters will assemble at noon Saturday at Freedom Plaza, near the White House and along the National Mall.

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said on Thursday she expects the Million MAGA March to be "quite large."

Trump supporters had already gathered in D.C. on Friday afternoon, 24 hours before the Million MAGA March.

On Friday afternoon, President Trump hinted that he may make an appearance at the event.

"Heartwarming to see all of the tremendous support out there, especially the organic Rallies that are springing up all over the Country, including a big one on Saturday in D.C. I may even try to stop by and say hello," Trump tweeted. "This Election was Rigged, from Dominion all the way up & down!"

Several counterprotests have been scheduled by left-wing groups.

Refuse Fascism, a self-described "national movement organizing to drive out the Trump/Pence regime," has scheduled its counterprotest to take place 30 minutes before the Trump rally at Freedom Plaza in an effort to "overwhelm" Trump supporters.

Andy Zee, a member of the Refuse Fascism Editorial Board, said, "We must not allow the Trump/Pence regime to illegitimately overturn this election. That is why it is so urgent that people come out on Saturday to say no to Trump still trying to steal the election."

"Trump and his minions LOST! Now they are planning a One Million MAGA March this Saturday in Washington D.C. We must STAND on our victory and not allow them to dominate the public discourse or the public square," the description of the counterprotest reads. "They are trying to steal the elections by sewing confusing about the election results & to intimidate people."

At the time of publication, only 19 people have signed up on the website to attend the event.

They/Them Collective, a self-described "anarchist abolitionist" group, has planned a "F*** MAGA" protest at noon Saturday at the Supreme Court, according to DCist. The invitation for the protest reads, "Last time white liberals told us to ignore the fash back in 2016 he became president for 3 years, 297 days, 6 hours, 49 minutes, 48 seconds." The group encourages participants to "wear black."

All Out D.C., a "collective of D.C. antifascist activists" aiming to "burn down the American plantation," planned a noon protest Saturday to "defend D.C. from white nationalism and secure a trump-free future." The group advocates attendees "wear black to show solidarity."

The right-wing Proud Boys group, self-described "western chauvinists," will also be at the Million MAGA March. Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio told CBS News, "We're known for fighting back. I'm not going to hide that, I'm not going to apologize for it."

"There's 70 million pissed off Americans and not one building has been burned down. I think if the president wouldn't won that night, there would have been chaos," Tarrio said of Election Day results.

District of Columbia Mayor Muriel Bowser (D) said police would be out in numbers to ensure peaceful First Amendment demonstrations.

"We continue to follow those activities and be prepared for those activities," Bowser told reporters on Tuesday. "Our police chief will have a similar posture this weekend as he did last week. And we will be there to support peaceful exercise of First Amendment demonstrations.

"The gun laws here are different than in other places. People who have a permit to carry a weapon can carry a weapon," she added. "We call it a concealed carry permit."

President Donald Trump gets sentimental during final campaign rally: 'Don't make me cry, don't make me cry'

A proud and emotional President Donald Trump closed out his final 2020 campaign rally on Monday night in Michigan to chants of "We love you."

What are the details?

Trump appeared in Grand Rapids on Monday night alongside daughter Ivanka Trump, who paid tribute to his many achievements over the past four years.

Ivanka's husband, Jared Kushner, also made an appearance at the final rally, along with son Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle, son Eric Trump and his wife Lara Trump, and daughter Tiffany Trump.

In closing remarks, the president told his swath of supporters, "Don't make me cry, don't make me cry," and promised that he — and they — would "win everything" on Tuesday.

"If I started to cry, they'd have a big story," he joked. "They'd say the president broke down and cried, and I don't know if that's good for us. ... Maybe it brings me up four or five points, but I don't care."

He added, "This is not the crowd of somebody who is going to lose the state of Michigan. This is not the crowd of a second-place finisher. ... We want a big win. Not just a win — a big win."

Turning to his children and the rest of his family, he joked, "No matter what happens tomorrow, I'm very proud of you all. But if you don't win, I'll never speak to you again."

What was Biden's final rally like?

Biden — who closed out his campaign in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, 400-plus miles from the president's Grand Rapids rally — promised "tomorrow is the beginning of a new day."

"Tomorrow we can put an end to a presidency that has left hardworking Americans out in the cold," he said. "Tomorrow we can put an end to a presidency that has divided this nation and fanned the flames of hate. Tomorrow we can put an end to a presidency that has failed to protect this nation. Millions of Americans have already voted. Millions more will vote tomorrow."

He concluded, "My message to you is simple: The power to change this country is in your hands."

Big 'Freedom Rally' in Beverly Hills ends after attack on Trump supporter by counterprotesters and unlawful assembly declared

In the 2016 presidential election, Hillary Clinton expectedly and handily beat Donald Trump in the overwhelmingly blue Los Angeles County by a margin of 2,464,364 to 769,743. Beverly Hills, which is in the Democratic stronghold of Los Angeles County, has seen several well-attended pro-Trump rallies this election season. On Saturday, the last pro-Trump rally in Beverly Hills before the 2020 presidential election occurred, but it was marred by violence after counterprotesters stoked tensions.

A large group of pro-Trump supporters gathered in Beverly Hills for a festive "USA Freedom Rally" on Saturday afternoon. Later in the day, the rally morphed into a MAGA parade with supporters chanting: "U-S-A! U-S-A!"

However, even before the 3 p.m. rally kicked off, black-clad counterprotesters dressed in tactical gear marched from Roxbury Park towards the USA Freedom Rally. Police separated the two groups for the most part, but at one point a Trump supporter and a mob of counterprotesters converged.

Video shows a throng of demonstrators dressed in all-black swarm a man holding an American flag. Then a person seems to pepper-spray the man with the flag; he retaliated by swinging his flag pole at them. As more members of the mob advance towards him, he takes more swings to keep the distance between them.

A man wearing a black helmet with the acronym "ACAB," which stands for "All Cops Are Bastards," attempts to wrestle the American flag from the Trump supporter. Then several other black-clad members jump in and pummel the man from all sides. One person is seen hitting the Trump supporter in the back of the head with a pole.

The man gets away for a second and then is clobbered again by the mob. They punch, kick, and smash him with objects as he is defenseless on the ground.

Police finally intervene to separate the two groups. The Trump supporter is taken aside for medical attention and was treated by the Beverly Hills Fire Department. The Trump supporter is seen holding his arm in pain and with a bloody face.

An unlawful assembly was declared shortly before 2:40 p.m.

"Approximately 40 protesters did assemble at Roxbury Park and then marched to the USA Freedom Rally," Lt. Max Subin of the Beverly Hills Police Department told Fox News. "A couple of the members got into a violent attack on a pro-Trump member. It was at that point that an unlawful assembly was declared."

Subin said there were no arrests.

As many people as there were at the Beverly Hills rally, it paled in comparison as to the thousands of people who gathered on Saturday night for President Donald Trump's campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
