Blaze News original: Think leftists are one big happy family? Check out when they get violent and destructive with their own.

Don't for a minute believe that leftists are all part of one big happy family. Plenty of factors would seem to prevent such broad acceptance.

For starters, you might not sit far enough left on the left-wing sociopolitical scale for some radicals — in which case, you're on the outs. Like one tidbit below describing Joe Biden supporters who thought they'd escape the wrath of Black Lives Matter protesters on the night of the 2020 election. They quickly thought again.

Case in point was a man who stood on his porch and hollered at the protesters, 'There's my Biden sign! Don't destroy anything! Be peaceful!'

Or the anarchists you also can read about below who spray-painted walls with 'F*** Biden,' 'No Presidents' messages and busted windows at a Democrat headquarters after Biden won the 2020 election. What do we need to do to keep them happy?

You can't even be a 60-year-old "gay progressive" state senator and walk George Floyd riots without getting beaten up by violent, radical leftists. That tale is below as well.

No one will soon forget when left-wing high priestess Maxine Waters risked inciting violence when she publicly told her radical left disciples to "create a crowd" and "push back on" their political enemies and tell them "they're not welcome any more, anywhere!" Well, check out in the forthcoming vignettes when Maxine admitted she doesn't like it when such leftist tactics are used on her. She even brought race into it.

And can you imagine a majority white Black Lives Matter group getting caught on video actually preventing a black woman from driving past their blockade? Imagine no more.

One big happy family? Not on your life.

Leftist protesters beat up 60-year-old 'gay progressive' state senator — after which victim says, 'Sad thing I'm on their side'

Protesters outside the Wisconsin Capitol in Madison smashed windows at the statehouse, tore down statues, and beat up Democratic state Sen. Tim Carpenter, who was observing them overnight June 23, 2020, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.

Carpenter, 60, told the Washington Post the violence "has got to stop before someone gets killed. Sad thing I'm on their side for peaceful demonstrations — am a Gay Progressive Dem Senator served 36 years in the legislature."

He also posted video showing protesters charging at him — after which WKOW-TV staffer Lance Vesser added a post noting that Carpenter said he was assaulted and then collapsed.

Carpenter said video he was recording "got me assaulted & beat up. Punched/kicked in the head, neck, ribs. Maybe concussion, socked in left eye is little blurry, sore neck & ribs. 8-10 people attacked me. Innocent people are going to get killed. Capitol locked — stuck in office. Stop violence now Plz!"

The caption from another social media photo noted that Carpenter "was just punched in the face by Madison protesters because he was filming. Several people attacked him."

The Journal Sentinel's Lawrence Andrea reported that protesters said Carpenter "provoked them."

Biden supporters on election night assume they'll escape the wrath of Black Lives Matter violence. Think again, kids.

Video posted by conservative journalist Andy Ngo revealed some cognitively dissonant moments on the night of the 2020 election when hundreds of protesters shut down the streets of southeast Portland and confronted residents — even if they supported Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.

Case in point was a man who stood on his porch and hollered at the protesters, "There's my Biden sign! Don't destroy anything! Be peaceful!"

But the guy's supposed sociopolitical teammates weren't having any of it.

"No one cares about your white-ass opinion!" one woman began yelling back at him. "Who do you think you are telling black people how to protest? You f***ing white-ass privilege old man!"

Another leftist female hollered, "Asking for people to be peaceful is white supremacy!"

It didn't get any better when the man left the relative safety of his porch and spoke to the protesters up close and personal.

But one leftist told him, "You just came out to instigate violence!"

Then a woman got in the man's face and told him, "At this point you're distracting the movement, so go the f*** home!"

In a separate scene, another man made the mistake of yelling at protesters, "Dude, I'm on your f***ing side!" Because with that, a woman screamed back at him, "No, you're not! No, you're f***ing not!"

Check out the mind-bending video here.

Remember when leftist Maxine Waters urged fellow radicals to harass those who disagree with them politically and get in their faces? Well, she's not too happy when tables are turned on her.

Who can forget U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) getting captured on video urging fellow radicals to harass and get in the faces of those who disagree politically with them?

"Let's make sure we show up wherever we have to show up, and if you see anybody from [President Donald Trump's] Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they're not welcome any more, anywhere!" she infamously howled in public.

Well, a video excerpt of an undated interview with Waters shows her indicating that such harassment is unacceptable if directed her way. She complained about an instance during which someone confronted her in a restaurant — and Waters said that showed a "racist attitude."

"They don't say racist things, but what they say is they don't like something I said. They don't like a position that I took," she said, adding that "if you were not black, you would not be approached that way."

Multitudes of commentators mocked Waters' remarks online, many quoting back her apparent incitements to violence, which were not limited to the Democrat's 2018 remarks.

Anarchists spray-paint walls with 'F*** Biden,' 'No Presidents' messages, bust windows at Democrat HQ after Biden wins election

Just hours after most mainstream media outlets declared Democratic nominee Joe Biden the winner of the 2020 election over President Donald Trump on Nov. 7, Biden's supposed leftist comrades in Portland, Oregon, weren't celebrating victory.

Instead they busted windows at the Multnomah County Democrats' building and spray-painted messages such as "F*** Biden" and "No Presidents" — along with the universal symbol of anarchists.

Police arrested three suspects in the aftermath of the vandalism, KATU-TV reported:

 • Maximillian Jennings, 22, was booked on first-degree criminal mischief;
 • Thomas Mollrocek, 33, was booked on second-degree criminal mischief and third-degree escape;
 • James Walker Prettyman, 24, was booked on second-degree criminal mischief, the station said.

All three were booked into jail, KATU reported.

Police said demonstrators gathered outside the building and reportedly started tagging it and shattering windows, the station reported, adding that officers moved in and made targeted arrests of those who allegedly were part of the vandalism. You can check out a clip here showing the aftermath.

The anti-Biden sentiment among leftists was evident in Washington, D.C., as well, as black-clad demonstrators marched toward Black Lives Matter Plaza and chanted, "What do we want? Justice! When do we want it? Now! If we don't get it — Burn it down! BURN. IT. DOWN!" along with, "F*** Trump! F*** Biden! No more presidents!"

In Detroit, one leftist group wasn't too thrilled with Biden, either, and chanted, "F*** Donald Trump! F*** Biden too! Both of them don't give a f*** about you!"

Far-left actor Michael Rapaport's support for Israel prompts Antifa to violently protest his comedy shows

In January, dozens of far-left, violent Antifa agitators shouted expletives and fired off explosives outside a comedy club in Portland, Oregon, to express their outrage that the establishment dared to allow far-left actor Michael Rapaport — who supports Israel — onstage.

On the night of Jan. 12, with temperatures well below freezing, Antifa protesters gathered outside Helium Comedy Club, where Rapaport was scheduled to perform five shows over two days.

According to videos shared by Andy Ngo, a journalist who has been covering Antifa's violent antics for years, a line of police officers protected the club's perimeter as protesters attempted to intimidate those trying to get inside, even going so far as to hurl fireworks at the building to make their outrage felt.

While firing off explosives and harassing club-goers, the leftist protesters also shouted various anti-Semitic chants, such as "[From the river to the sea,] Palestine will be free." They also yelled, "F*** Michael Rapaport" and warned him to get "out of Portland." Despite the threats, Helium hosted all of Rapaport's shows as scheduled.

While Rapaport's history of unhinged social media tirades against former President Donald Trump would seem to put him in the far left's good graces, his unfettered support for Israel since the Hamas attacks on Oct. 7, 2023, has instead made him persona non grata for many in Portland.

Tyrone Collins, co-founder of the NW Black Comedy Festival, was one of many "local comedians" and other "activists" who recently called for Helium to cancel Rapaport's shows, according to the Portland Mercury.

"Some of the things he's posted on his social media — it's been hateful. For some reason, Helium just tells us it's OK to back this man and the hateful things he's spewing," Collins said. "They have no idea what he's gonna get up there and say, you know, and they're willing to take that chance. It's just — it's not a good look."

Reese Hendrik of local comedy blog LaughsPDX chimed in as well. "Given recent commentary from Mr. Rapaport about the ongoing violence in Gaza, we do not support the platform being provided for him," wrote Hendrink, who is Jewish. "While it is not our place to police the scene or individual clubs, we find it necessary to voice our stance and solidarity with the Palestinian people."

White BLM protesters actually block black woman from driving through street. It gets ugly fast.

A video recorded on Sept. 7, 2020, shows a group of white BLM protesters defiantly standing in front of a truck in — where else? — Portland, Oregon. Not an unfamiliar scene by any stretch. But this time, the Black Lives Matter militants were blocking a black woman.

"Get out of the way!" the motorist hollers at them. "Because you killed my brother, move!" The clip doesn't shed light on the claim, but it sure demonstrates her adversaries' collective ignorance.

Defiant voices shoot right back at her. "You're gonna go backward!" one barks. "Turn around!" another yells.

She blasts them again: 'You're setting fires in the streets? No, that's violence! That's violent! Get out of my way!"

"I think you don't know what you're talking about!" a male voice can be heard arguing back with her.

Soon the woman challenges the protesters: "Get your ass away from here! ... Now they see how ignorant this looks. ... You don't want no race war out here!"

A black man who's with the leftists moves in and appears to try to calm the situation as the motorist accuses someone in the group of calling her the N-word — which they deny. "Stop pushing us with your car!" one male hollers at her as they place their bodies in front of the truck's bumper. The furious woman then exits her truck and gives the ignorant leftists a wake-up call: "If I was pushing you with my car, you'd be rammed the f*** over!"

At this point, the black man who's with the leftists orders his comrades to shut up and move: "We need to get this woman out of here safely!"

Trump Derangement Syndrome CURED: Hollywood liberal admits he was WRONG

While there is no official cure for Trump Derangement Syndrome, some of those afflicted with the disease are spontaneously healing themselves.

Whether it’s the thought of Comrade Kamala forcing price controls, the realization that the senile president of the United States has likely been vacationing on a beach the past three and a half years, or that inflation is quite literally out of control — no one can be sure.

But Hollywood actor Michael Rapaport is sure of one thing: that he was wrong.

“I was the first in line talking s**t about Trump,” Rapaport told Sage Steele in an interview. “I was all day every day.”

“I didn’t like his mouth,” he continued. “It’s not appropriate. And I would say that to him today. ‘Yo, your mouth man. You’re the president. You’re also 79. You’re the president, you’re 79, you also just got shot in the ear. Like get some new material; truly bring us together.’”

Despite Rapaport’s dislike of the way Trump speaks, he admittedly does like his policy — specifically regarding Israel and the economy.

“First and foremost is Israel and supporting Israel; and Iran needs to be drained forever. How, I don’t know, but financially, there’s a way to tariff their asses,” he explained. “So they can’t support these Hezbollah, these Houthis, that could send a drone the size of a car in Tel Aviv.”

“Between your two issues, Israel, and your money, and the economy, would this be the first time you vote Republican?” Steele asked the actor.

“I’m not saying I’m going to vote Republican,” Rapaport fired back, though Steele had some receipts to pull out.

“Here was your quote: ‘Voting for Trump is on the table.’ Does that pain you to say?” Steele asked.

“Yes, it pains me. It pains me to be wrong,” he answered. “I was wrong about Israel, and I was wrong about economy stuff. I was wrong.”

Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report” is shocked.

“Hot diggity dog, someone on the left said something not completely insane,” he comments.

‘I Was Wrong’: Michael Rapaport Walks Back ‘Talking Sh*t’ About Trump

‘It pains me! It pains me to be wrong,’ Rapaport responded.

Michael Rapaport goes scorched-earth on Biden and the Squad, stressing 'voting for Trump is on the table'

Leftist actor Michael Rapaport has come a long way since calling former President Donald Trump the "worst possible motherf**ker we could have in power," referring to Melania Trump as a "dumb animal," and wishing ill on Barron Trump in March 2020.

Rapaport, like various other Jewish liberals, has in recent months begun to distance himself from the Democratic Party, recognizing that it has grown increasingly antagonistic toward Israel and resistant to efforts to restore order to American cities. Democratic anti-Semitism in the wake of the Oct. 7 Hamas terror attacks and the apparent failure of the Biden administration to address the crisis at the border have even prompted the actor to seriously consider voting for Trump.

In a recent interview with the Polish media outfit Visegrád 24, Rapaport blasted his Hollywood peers for their silence over the Oct. 7 attacks.

"You don't have to be political like me. You don't have to be a lunatic like me. You don't have to be as aggressive like me," said Rapaport. "But to know that there's hostages and everybody knows that that's not okay. There's nobody that could try to explain, rationalize hostages being taken — babies, kids, women."

Roughly 3,000 Hamas-affiliated terrorists entered Israel on Oct. 7 and murdered over 1,140 civilians. Extra to leaving another 3,400 Israelis wounded, the terrorists took hundreds of civilians captive. According to the Jewish state, 130 hostages remain in captivity, including the bodies of 33 victims.

"We know there's rape. We know there's all sorts of things. And not to say anything about that. Well, [Hollywood types] say things about trees being cut down, equal rights pay ... black lives matter this, LGBTQ this," continued Rapaport. "To not say nothing? That s**t hurt my f***ing heart straight the f*** up."

"It's a shameful thing," added Rapaport.

When Visegrád 24 pressed the actor on whether his political views have shifted in recent years, Rapaport answered in the affirmative.

"In all honesty, I have educated myself so much since 2016 and I have a ways to go," said the actor. "My political views have changed immensely, and they are changing at a rapid pace."

Rapaport made expressly clear that he will "not be voting for Joe Biden."

He said further, "I do not support anybody from the Squad. I think they're dangerous. I think they're race hustlers. I think they're cons. I think inevitably they want to get themselves production deals to produce documentaries. I think they're three-card-Monty-playing bulls**t artists."

"Voting for Trump is on the table," continued the actor. "That is my reality. I will not support anybody who is anti-Israel. I will not support anybody who is anti-, you know, making America safe. I am not supporting anybody who is cool with the fact that it takes me two and a half hours to get back into America from Toronto ... but it takes you two minutes to cross the border [illegally]. I'm not down with that s**t."

Rapaport also lamented the attacks on NYPD officers by illegal aliens who were subsequently set loose again on the city as well as the brazen crime plaguing his city.

“I won’t vote for Biden. At this point voting Trump is on the table (…) I won’t support anyone anti-Israel or anti making USA safe,”

Visegrad24 spoke with @MichaelRapaport about his how his political views have changed since Oct. 7th.

Link to full interview in the comments ⬇️

Radical leftists, Hamas apologists, and other criminals have clearly greased Rapaport's political slide.

Blaze News previously reported that in January, Antifa agitators protested Rapaport's presence at a comedy club in Portland, Oregon, demanding that he leave the city.

In 2022, Rapaport documented the aftermath of a burglary at a Rite Aid in Manhattan. The actor was taken aback by the brazenness of the crime, expressing disbelief as he filmed a suspect striding down an aisle with two bags stuffed full of loot, then nod to a security guard before exiting as if nothing had happened.

Far-left actor Michael Rapaport's support for Israel prompts Antifa to violently protest his Portland comedy show

As is their wont, dozens of far-left, violent Antifa agitators shouted expletives and fired off explosives over the weekend, this time outside a comedy club in Portland, Oregon, to express their outrage that the establishment dared to allow far-left actor Michael Rapaport, who supports Israel, to perform there without their approval.

On Friday night, with temperatures well below freezing, dozens of Antifa protesters gathered outside Helium Comedy Club, where Rapaport was scheduled to perform five shows over the next two days. According to videos shared by Andy Ngo, a journalist who has been covering Antifa's violent antics for years, a line of police officers protected the perimeter of the club as protesters attempted to intimidate those trying to get inside, even going so far as to hurl fireworks at the building to make their outrage known.

"PDX hates Michael Rapaport," reads the message emblazoned on this TikTok video originally posted by @molinacozcatracy and shared by Ngo.

While firing off explosives and harassing club-goers, the leftist protesters also shouted various anti-Semitic chants, such as "[From the river to the sea,] Palestine will be free." They also yelled, "F*** Michael Rapaport" and warned him to get "out of Portland."

Despite the threats, Helium hosted all of Rapaport's shows as scheduled. The club did not respond to the Portland Mercury's request for comment.

While Rapaport's history of unhinged social media tirades against former President Donald Trump would seem to put him in the far left's good graces, his unfettered support for Israel since the Hamas attacks on October 7 have instead made him persona non grata for many in Portland.

Tyrone Collins, co-founder of the NW Black Comedy Festival, was one of many "local comedians" and other "activists" who recently called for Helium to cancel Rapaport's shows, according to the Portland Mercury. "While it is not our place to police the scene or individual clubs, we find it necessary to voice our stance and solidarity with the Palestinian people."

A couple weeks ago, some of Rapaport's detractors even began circulating a flier on social media demanding that Helium cancel his shows because of his supposed support for "the genocide of an entire people (including children.)" Should Helium refuse to cater to the group's whims, agitators will "be prepared to show up to protest," the flier warned.

For his part, Rapaport, 53, embraced the free publicity such fliers and calls for protest brought to his shows. In fact, he even shared the flier on his Instagram account, claiming it was "fantastic" for business and promising attendees that his Helium shows would be "like a party!!!!"

"I will always do my Act," he also said in a statement to the Portland Mercury. "You always do the Act. Obviously every show is different and I talk and discuss some current events with the audience at every show. The Act is personal & disruptive. … I’m a long time Trailblazers fan & love the weed in Portland."

He has also not backed down on his support for Israel. He has even begrudgingly admitted that, because of Israel, he may vote for Trump in the 2024 presidential election if President Joe Biden is the Democrat nominee. "If it comes down to pig d**k Donald Trump and smokin' Joe Biden, I'm sorry — I am sorry — voting for pig d**k Donald Trump is on the table. I'm sorry. I'm f***in' sorry. I'll still call him slob d**k Donald Trump, and pig d**k Donald Trump, and all that. But we've got to get this whole f***in' situation under control," he said in a social media video last November.

'You f***ing sick Jew haters': Michael Rapaport launches blistering attack on the Squad in profanity-laden tirade

Comedian Michael Rapaport launched a profanity-laden tirade against Democratic Reps. Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The actor declared the Squad to be "the biggest f***ing squad of Jew haters in the United States."

Rapaport tagged Ocasio-Cortex, Omar, and Tlaib on his Instagram post that was captioned: "The Big 3 of Antisemitism!!!"

The opinionated actor added, "These 3 have hypnotized the World into thinking they’re not All About The Benjamin’s & will soon be out of Politics with a Production Company making Propaganda Content against #jewish people MARK MY WORDS!!!!"

Rapaport is referencing two anti-Semitic incidents involving Omar.

In a tweet from 2012, Omar wrote, "Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel."

In 2019, Omar sparked outrage when she suggested the Republican Party's overwhelming support for Israel is "all about the Benjamins."

Top Democrats – including Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif), Steny Hoyer (D-Md.), James Clyburn (D-S.C.), and Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) – released a statement condemning Omar's "deeply offensive" comments as "anti-Semitic tropes" and "prejudicial accusations."

Rapaport blasted the Squad members in the Instagram video for spreading "fake news" regarding the explosion near a hospital in Gaza.

Rapaport ranted to his 2.1 million Instagram followers, "AOC, Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, you fake news f***s! You're just as bad as Muppet-face Marjorie Taylor Greene, except I haven't come up with nicknames for you yet!"

"Take down that f***ng bulls**t, you f***ing Jew haters," Rapaport told the progressive Democrats. "You hate the Jews. You've always hated the Jews. It's been one of your agendas to perpetuate Jew hate."

"Take down your f***ing fake news tweets. Rescind your f***ing comments, rescind your f***ing fake news statements," the "True Romance" actor fumed. "You're in government, you motherf***ers!"

"The Squad – the biggest f***ing squad of Jew haters the United States government has ever seen," he barked. "Rescind those f***ing statements you f***ing sick Jew haters, you."

Rapaport said he has no problem criticizing Democrats.

"Don't get it twisted," Rapaport noted. "I ain't a f***ing Democrat. I ain't a Republican. I don't like any of you. I don't trust any of you."

Hamas authorities accused Israel of carrying out an airstrike on the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza – allegedly killing over 500 people.

However, IDF vehemently denies bombing the hospital. Also, U.S. intelligence officials have determined that the blast at a Gaza hospital was caused by Palestinian fighters. Video footage appears to show a failed rocket slam back to the ground shortly after launch.

Tlaib and Omar immediately pushed the propaganda from Hamas.

Tlaib declared on Tuesday, "Israel just bombed the Baptist Hospital killing 500 Palestinians (doctors, children, patients) just like that. @POTUS this is what happens when you refuse to facilitate a ceasefire & help de-escalate. Your war and destruction only approach has opened my eyes and many Palestinian Americans and Muslim Americans like me. We will remember where you stood."

Tlaib has not yet deleted the tweet or updated it with the revelations by Israeli and U.S. intelligence.

Omar tweeted, "Bombing a hospital is among the gravest of war crimes. The IDF reportedly blowing up one of the few places the injured and wounded can seek medical treatment and shelter during a war is horrific."

Omar tried to walk back her original post about the airstrike: "Our office cited an AP report yesterday that the IDF had hit a Baptist hospital in Gaza. Since then, the IDF denied responsibility and the US intelligence assessment is that this was not done by Israel."

Unironically, Omar then lectured about sharing misinformation online, "It is a reminder that information is often unreliable and disputed in the fog of war (especially on Twitter where misinformation is rampant). We all have a responsibility to ensure information we are sharing is from credible sources and to acknowledge as new reports come in."

AOC did not mention the blast near the hospital in Gaza.

Ocasio-Cortez previously condemned the Hamas attack "in the strongest possible terms" and added, "No child and family should ever endure this kind of violence and fear, and this violence will not solve the ongoing oppression and occupation in the region."

AOC has called for an "immediate ceasefire and de-escalation."

Michael Rapaport shares video showing merchandise-loaded theft suspect casually strolling out of NYC Rite Aid in broad daylight: 'I can't believe I'm seeing this s**t'

Actor Michael Rapaport shared a concerning social media video on Tuesday appearing to show a suspect strolling down the aisle of a Manhattan-area Rite Aid that he reportedly had just burgled.

What are the details?

Rapaport shared the video to Instagram, where he captioned it, "Duke [sic] just went CHRISTMAS SHOPPING at @riteaid. I’m TRIPPING this happened in broad day like it was nothing.”

He added that the store in question is reportedly set to close on Feb. 15 due to rampant shoplifting incidents.

He also tagged New York City Mayor Eric Adams, writing, "YO[.]"

In the video, the suspect — who remains unnamed at the time of this reporting — can be seen walking down the aisle with two stuffed bags, nodding to the security guard positioned near the front of the store. He unhurriedly strolls out of the store and continues walking down the street as if nothing had happened.

In the video, Rapaport can be heard saying, "I can't believe I'm seeing this s**t. This f***ing guy just filled his two bags up with everything in Rite Aid, right here on 80th and First Avenue and is walking down the street like s**t is Gucci."

"I was watching him the whole time," he added. "Looking me in my face like 'What's good?' My man just went Christmas shopping in January. He had the condoms, the shampoo."

At the time of this reporting, Rapaport's video has been viewed more than 185,00 times.

Actor Michael Rapaport rips Fauci & Co. over mixed messages on vaccines, masks: 'Am I a hero or a super spreader? ... Figure this s**t out!'

Actor and comedian Michael Rapaport took Dr. Anthony Fauci and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to task over what he suggests is confusing advice as it pertains to COVID-19 vaccinations and mask-wearing.

What are the details?

Rapaport made the cutting — and profane — remarks in a now-viral Twitter video.

He said, "I just watched Tony Fauci and CNN and Fox tell me that people with the vaccine — vaccinated people — are now spreading the coronavirus. A couple of weeks ago, couple of days ago, I was ... yes, I'm vaccinated ... 'Be a hero, be vaccinated!' I went from being a hero because I'm vaccinated, and now you motherf***ers are calling me a superspreader? I ain't no f***in' super spreader. Figure this s**t out!"

Rapaport tweeted the video, and captioned it, "Am I a Hero or a Super Spreader?"

At the time of this reporting, the video has been viewed more than 485,000 times.

What else?

This isn't the first time Rapaport has gone on an expletive-laden rant against state and government handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

In December, Rapaport targeted Los Angeles Democratic Mayor Eric Garcetti and California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom for their handling of the COVID-19 pandemic in Los Angeles County and across the state of California. In November, Garcetti canceled both indoor and outdoor dining as COVID-19 cases climbed across the city. Newsom's regional stay-at-home order, which demanded area residents remain sheltered in place unless leaving the home for essential travel, was also in place at the time.

In videotaped remarks, Rapaport — who lives in Los Angeles — blasted state and local COVID-19 restrictions after he discovered an operational flea market near an area high school.

Filming the flea market, a furious Rapaport said, "Yo, look at this s**t! The f***in' Melrose-Fairfax farmer's market is poppin'! And I have no problem with all of these people making their money and making a living, but how the f*** is this OK, but right across the street, all the cafes, all of the restaurants are shut down?"

"Look at this s**t!" he demanded. "Get your money, but who's making the decisions here? Garcetti, you f***! Gavin Newsom with the f***in' good hair! You f***! Look, they got the music playing and all of this s**t! This s**t doesn't make any f***in' sense. This don't make any f***in' sense. This is why motherf***ers are pissed off and protesting!"
