Joy Reid gives 'white progressive women' some bad news about black women's interest in Democrat causes after Harris' defeat

MSNBC host Joy Reid remained on her far-left warpath following Vice President Kamala Harris' resounding loss to now President-elect Donald Trump last week, sharing some bad news with "white progressive women."

Reid hopped on TikTok Saturday and said, "I just wanna give some free advice to the white progressives, particularly white progressive women, who may be thinking about marching against the Trump victory, maybe putting back on the P-word hats and doing that thing. I would just say probably don't send any of those invites to any black women you know. I'm just gonna tell you right now they're not coming."

'Yeah,' one commenter wrote to Reid. 'I'm going to be busy vacuuming my ceiling.'

Reid continued: "Like, I'm pretty sure black women have resigned from the ‘Save America’ coalition, ‘Save Democracy’ coalition, and definitely the ‘Save the Democratic Party’ coalition. I think that's probably not happening; I would just keep those invites maybe among your own friends 'cause I don't think they're coming. … I think black women are now [focused] on the [goals of] save black women, prioritize black men, and prioritize black communities, black businesses, and ... the black spaces. But save America, save the Democratic Party? Yeah, I don't think that's happening."

Indeed, Reid on election night complained that "white women" failed to come through for Harris in the battleground state of North Carolina — merely one of Harris' numerous crushing losses in the electoral vote tally.

"Black voters came through for Kamala Harris; white women voters did not," Reid lamented last week. "That is what appears happened in that state." She went on to say that the Harris campaign wasn't able to "flip enough white women" even though women in North Carolina "lost their reproductive rights."

She added during MSNBC's broadcast, "That message obviously was not enough to get enough white women to vote for Vice President Harris, a fellow woman, this will be the second opportunity that white women in this country have had to change the way that they interact with the patriarchy."

How are observers reacting?

In the comments underneath Reid's TikTok video, it appears other black women are agreeing — some rather hilariously — with her prediction that they'll be sitting out future activism for Democrats:

  • "Yeah," one commenter wrote to Reid. "I’m going to be busy vacuuming my ceiling."
  • "I can't I'mm washing my hair, it's gonna take 4yrs," another user announced.
  • "I’m tired!" another commenter shared. "I’m watching 227 reruns that day…"
  • "Facts! On a 4 year PTO…" another user stated.
  • "Thank you," another commenter said. "I'm tired of fighting for others. I have no fight in me right now."

Vote like your life and the republic depend on it

You hear it every four years: This election is the most consequential/important/momentous of our lifetime, to the point that it’s practically a cliché now. But this year it’s true, and everyone knows it.

With just days before the election, if you are on the fence or lukewarm about Donald Trump and JD Vance, if you are considering voting for a third-party candidate or you know somebody who is, and especially if you are thinking about not voting at all, please take a few moments to read this.

Do not be deterred by dirty tricks or misinformation. Do not believe the hype. Above all, do not despair.

It hardly seems possible that voters are undecided about Trump after nearly a decade. It’s more understandable that some Republican voters struggle to get past Trump’s brash and bombastic personality. Some conservatives look at Trump and say, No. I just can’t. He’s not a decent man. He’s not a godly man.

Let’s concede that Trump is far from perfect. Let’s even allow that his first term was marked by several missteps, unforced errors, and terrible decisions — culminating with the COVID-19 disaster in 2020.

Despite whatever he did that you didn’t like, Trump was arguably the most successful Republican president since Ronald Reagan: shepherding tax cuts that boosted economic growth, slashing illegal immigration, renegotiating trade deals to America’s advantage, and checking our foreign enemies.

Nobody can say for certain what a second Trump term would look like. What is certain is that Kamala Harris and Tim Walz will be a disaster for the country. No question about it. Not only would Harris and Walz continue the policies of the past four Biden-Harris years, they would make them worse. The only question is how much worse.

Harris and Walz guarantee the southern border will remain wide open to millions of unvetted illegal aliens from all around the world. Some are gangsters from Venezuela, known terrorists from Syria, Yemen, and Iran, and tens of thousands of military-age men from China traveling alone without ID. Harris and Walz will quickly pave a path to voting for millions of illegal aliens already in our country in an open attempt to create a one-party state in America.

Harris and Walz guarantee domestic economic stagnation and decline by pushing the Green New Deal and crippling regulations while sending hundreds of billions of dollars — much of it borrowed money — to prop up corrupt foreign regimes and wage wars that weaken America’s standing abroad.

Harris and Walz guarantee more lawfare against political opponents, more federal prosecutions of grandmothers praying in front of abortion clinics, and more censorship in the guise of combatting “misinformation,” “disinformation,” and “hate speech.” They will continue the unprecedented efforts of the Biden-Harris administration to use the power of the federal government to censor and punish private media companies like Blaze Media that publish content they don’t like.

With Democratic House and Senate majorities, Harris and Walz guarantee an end to the filibuster, a packed Supreme Court, legislation to enshrine Roe v. Wade, the “right” of boys and men to encroach on girls’ and women’s sports and spaces, and more.

Don’t get cocky or complacent. Vote anyway. Make sure your friends and family do, too.

If you are a pro-life voter disappointed with Trump’s weakness on abortion, from rejecting a national ban to regulating the “morning-after pill,” Harris is clearly not your candidate.

Now is not the time for purity tests. Too much is at stake. Reagan often told his staff, “I’d rather get 80% of what I want than go over the cliff with my flags flying.”

Trump and Vance are better than 80% of what conservative and pro-life voters say they want. Harris and Walz are less than zero. Guaranteed.

We don’t vote to determine who’s a saint and who’s a sinner — that judgement is up to God. We vote for whoever is best for the job. So vote. Vote your conscience, but also vote your common sense. Vote your values, but remember you won’t necessarily get everything you want all at once or right away. But vote.

Do you live in a blue state where Kamala Harris is a lock to win? Vote anyway. Yes, the Electoral College decides the outcome, but the popular vote matters in the court of public opinion. California in 2016 provided Hillary Clinton’s margin of victory in the popular vote, as she and her sycophants never tire of reminding us. Don’t give them the satisfaction. Make your voice heard and your vote count.

Do you live in a red state where Donald Trump is likely going to run the table? Don’t get cocky or complacent. Vote anyway. Make sure your friends and family do too.

Do you live in a swing state? Absolutely vote like your life and your republic depend on it, because they do. And this time, in the next few days, you must get as many people as you can to do it too. Bug all your friends and family. Bug everyone in the book club or chat group. All the complaining and commentary and worry about politics are meaningless if you and everyone you know do not vote on Tuesday.

Do not be deterred by dirty tricks or misinformation. Do not hand your ballot over to a stranger with a badge. Do not be obstructed by long lines or foul weather. Do not take no for an answer.

Do not believe the hype. Yes, networks like CNN are projecting Harris as the likely winner — but a few months ago, CNN reported that Joe Biden was “sharp as a tack.”

Above all, do not despair. Democrats are going all out. Lawsuits. Ballot harvesting. Dirty tricks. Misinformation. They fight dirty, and they fight to win. We fight for our families and for our country.

A path to victory always exists — but you need to walk down it. The first step is your vote.

RFK Jr. just made a BIG change to his game plan

Robert F Kennedy Jr. has changed his game plan.

The notoriously outspoken advocate for medical freedom was announced this past Friday as a speaker for the Conservative Political Action Conference. This comes after he revealed that he would no longer be running on the Democrat ticket.

Rather, RFK will be running as an independent.

“I think the man is realizing that his support is predominantly with Republicans,” Keith Malinak comments.

However, Pat Gray worries this could hurt Trump in 2024 more than it will hurt Biden.

“You would hope that would hurt Biden more than Trump or whoever the nominee is, but I don’t know,” Gray says, noting that CPAC is full of potential Trump voters.

CPAC Chair Matt Schlapp said in a statement, “Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has a unique voice in advocating for the defunding of the weaponized bureaucracy and ensuring the constitutional right of medical freedom.”

“Kennedy joining such an important event is a reflection of the splintering of the left-wing coalition that has gone full woke Marxist to the point that traditional liberals don’t feel welcome anymore,” he continued.

While many on the right are pleased with Kennedy’s stance on vaccines and medical freedom, his recent take on the invasion of Israel has Gray a little weary.

“As president I’ll make sure that our policy is unambiguous so that the enemies of Israel will think long and hard before attempting aggression of any kind. I applaud the strong statements of support from the Biden White House,” Kennedy wrote in a tweet.

“We’ve got a whole country full of war hawks now,” Gray says.

Red states are rushing to aid Texas in securing the southern border since the Biden administration appears unwilling

Republican-led states are now sending resources to Texas in hopes of shoring up America's defenses and providing some relief at the state's beleaguered border with Mexico. The help is desperately needed, and the Biden administration does not otherwise appear up to the task.

Tennessee, Nebraska, Florida, Idaho, and Mississippi are among the red states that have stepped up to and into the breach, committing troops, law enforcement agents, support vehicles, and other resources.

What's the background?

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott wrote to his fellow Republican governors on May 16, stating, "We, as Governors, must band together to combat President Biden's ongoing border crisis and ensure the safety and security that all Americans deserve."

Abbott added, "Join us in the mission to defend our national sovereignty and territorial integrity and send all available law enforcement personnel and resources to the Texas-Mexico border to serve alongside our thousands of Texas National Guard soldiers and Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers."

Roused by Abbott's letter, or perhaps just remembering the Alamo, 24 Republican governors led by Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds responded with a joint statement in support of Abbott's Operation Lone Star.

"The federal government’s response handling the expiration of Title 42 has represented a complete failure of the Biden Administration," they wrote. "While the federal government has abdicated its duties, Republican governors stand ready to protect the U.S.-Mexico border and keep families safe."

The joint statement added, "All states have suffered from the effects of deadly illegal drugs coming across the border, and every state is a border state due to the devastating influx of drugs in our communities. Republican governors are leading the way to address the border crisis by increasing fentanyl sentencing and increasing support for law enforcement interdiction of drugs, among other measures."

One week later, Abbott hosted nine of his fellow Republican governors for a border security briefing. Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen, Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee, Idaho Gov. Brad Little, and Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves were among those present.

Florida

Gov. Ron DeSantis stated on May 19, "Operation Lone Star is underway with Florida deploying law enforcement officers and special agents to protect the Southern Border in Texas. When the federal government refuses to step up — Florida stands ready to serve."

DeSantis' office announced Thursday that Florida's assets "are on-scene to assist the State of Texas," including 800 Florida National Guard troops; 200 Florida Department of Law Enforcement officersalong with support staff; 101 Florida Highway Patrol troopers; two fix-wing aircraft for monitoring and patrol of the border; two mobile command vehicles; and five unmaned aerial vehicle pilots with 17 drones for overwatch.

Fox News Digital indicated that Florida's latest contribution altogether amounts to over 1,100 assets.

Nebraska

Gov. Pillen authorized the deployment of 10 Nebraska state troopers to Texas on Wednesday, stating, "Nebraska is committed to using every tool in its tool box to help stop the influx of illegal immigration at our southern border. Illegal immigration hurts our nation's security, undermines the rule of law, and threatens the wellbeing of our state."

The troopers are all reportedly trained drone operators who will provide assistance to Texas law enforcement at the border.

Abbot thanked Pillen, noting, "Texas, along with our partners from Idaho, Florida, and now Nebraska, will work to provide the security Americans deserve."

Idaho

Gov. Little revealed on May 19 that twelve Idaho State Police officers, six with the Domestic Highway Enforcement Team and six comprising SWAT troopers, were on the way "to secure the border and improve Idaho’s ability to interdict illicit drugs to protect Idahoans."

"The focus of the mission is two-fold – the ISP troopers will serve as a force multiplier for the State of Texas when there is an increased need for law enforcement along the U.S.-Mexico border, and our troopers will receive on-the-job training and experience up-to-the-minute enforcement techniques that can be brought back and immediately applied in Idaho," said the governor.

Tennessee

Lee, who indicated help was on the way earlier this week, reaffirmed his commitment Friday, writing, "The crisis at our nation’s southern border is too big to ignore—drug trafficking and human trafficking continues to escalate, fueling crime across the country. While the federal government fails to act, Tennesseans are stepping up to serve & protect Americans."

Lee authorized the deployment of 100 Tennessee National Guard troops Wednesday to secure the border.

"The federal government owes Americans a plan to secure our country, and in the meantime, states continue to answer this important call to service," said Lee. "I am again authorizing the Tennessee National Guard to help secure the Southern border, and I commend these troops for providing critical support."

The TNG troops deployed at month's end will: execute patrols and provide additional security presence along the border; assist road and route clearance, barrier placement, and debris removal; and staff outpost operations.

"These troops are a capable contingent that will continue our long-standing tradition of responding to the call to aid our fellow Americans," said Brigadier General Warner Ross, Tennessee’s adjutant general.

Mississippi

Gov. Tate Reeves stated on May 17, "What happens at the border doesn’t stay there. Drugs and people are trafficked to every state in the nation - including Mississippi. To keep Mississippians safe and limit the impact of our nation’s open borders, the Mississippi National Guard’s 112th Military Police Battalion has been mobilized and is supporting Customs and Border Protection officers and agents along the Southwest border."

"Mississippi stands with those trying to secure our border and we will continue to do everything we can to assist. I’m thankful for the service of Mississippi’s brave Guardsmen, CBP and everyone else working to keep us safe," added Reeves.

The Associated Press reported that Reeves mobilized a National Guard unit to aid with America's defense in Texas.

Delano Squires: Tyler Perry, Colin Kaepernick, BLM, and the 80/20 rule can save America from communism

Black American movie mogul and Oprah Winfrey bestie Tyler Perry could do his country a favor by scripting a remake of his comedy-drama box office hit "Why Did I Get Married."

The sequel — "Why Did I Go Marxist" — would feature NFL quarterback-turned-activist Colin Kaepernick along with the leaders of Black Lives Matter and would use communist Cuba to further explain Perry's 80/20 rule of marriage. The 80/20 rule exposes the folly of diminishing the 80 percent of your marriage that works in pursuit of the 20 percent that frustrates you.

Yes, Kaepernick has no acting experience and seems a bit of an introvert. He mostly speaks in tweets and Instagram posts. But he's perfect for the part. Kaepernick is one of the most important figures in American culture over the last 20 years. His national anthem protest inspired a generation of athletes and entertainers to use their platforms to disparage the country that allows their success. His BLM co-stars tricked an entire country into believing they actually care about justice for dead black men and pressured the NFL, NBA, Big Tech, and Fortune 500 companies to donate millions and parrot their talking points.

Out-of-the-closet Marxists, Kaepernick and BLM love Cuba and Fidel Castro, see the world through the lens of oppressed and oppressor classes, call for the abolition of police and prisons, and believe the Fourth of July celebrates white supremacy. Kaepernick once spoke out against oppression while wearing a Castro T-shirt, and BLM's response to Cubans protesting their government today after decades under a communist regime is to blame the United States.

The jokes and hypocrisy write themselves. In Cuba and Hong Kong, people seeking freedom are using our flag as a symbol of hope. Juxtapose that with how Kaepernick, BLM, and other elites denounce our flag as a symbol of oppression.

It's the 80/20 rule applied to politics and culture. The most privileged Americans seem perpetually unsatisfied with the 80 percent America gets right. People who fall victim to this way of thinking abandon a great relationship in search of a perfect one and end up with neither. It also paves the way for someone else to come in and shower the spouses they abandoned with the love and appreciation they desire.

Americans who live in a country with laws that protect speech, religion, private property, and the right to protest publicly pine for the idea of socialism because they see it as the only antidote to social inequality. They seem to believe that USA stands for "Utopian States of America."

The people who live under communism and authoritarian regimes want the freedoms these Americans take for granted because they know that misery is the only thing equally distributed when the government has total control over your life.

The inability of cultural elites to appreciate what they have — an alluring mix of ingratitude and envy — is one of the enduring phenomena animating American political and cultural discourse. The country's most important institutions, from the federal government to Hollywood, are being run by people who seem to have contempt for the country, its history, and many of its citizens.

When people in other countries believe they are being oppressed by their government, attacked because of their ethnicity or religion, or ground down by an unfair economic system, they leave their home in search of better opportunities. When people think that a particular institution — whether a school or company — treated them poorly, they tell people they care about to stay away. One indication of the insincerity of America-hating elites is that they do the opposite of what you would expect — they stay in a place they claim is oppressing them, and they encourage other people of color from around the world to come to a country they claim hates them.

The only way to get out of this tailspin is to appreciate what we have here, even as we strive to make it better. The generations that came before us showed us the way. You don't have to lie about history or gloss over problems today in order to acknowledge the privilege of living in America. That's how most people around the globe relate to their countries. Citizens of other nations may have issues with their national government, but they still exhibit national pride, publicly declare their love of country, and respect their national symbols. I hope our elites will embrace a similar approach, because no one thrives in any environment — whether a family, community, institution, or marriage — that they hate.

Perry provided a valuable lesson at the end of his film. The husband who left his overweight wife for her best friend finds himself trying to get back into her good graces after he sees how much better she looks since their divorce. That should be a warning to Kaepernick and his BLM comrades that the "20" they're chasing after isn't nearly as good as the "80" they want to leave.

Glenn Beck: Why MLK's pledge of NONVIOLENCE is the key to saving America

Listen to the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s pledge of nonviolence and really let it sink in: "Remember always that the nonviolent movement seeks justice and reconciliation — not victory."

On the radio program, Glenn Beck shared King's "ten commandments" of nonviolence and the meaning behind the powerful words you may never have noticed before.

"People will say nonviolent resistance is a method of cowards. It is not. It takes more courage to stand there when people are threatening you," Glenn said. "You're not necessarily the one who is going to win. You may lose. But you are standing up with courage for the ideas that you espouse. And the minute you engage in the kind of activity that the other side is engaging in, you discredit the movement. You discredit everything we believe in."

Take MLK's words to heart, America. We must stand with courage, nonviolently, with love for all, and strive for peace and rule of law, not "winning."
