Muslim leaders endorse Trump with most persuasive closing arguments against Kamala Harris: 'I am no longer a Democrat'

Muslim community leaders in Minnesota made the best possible closing argument for Donald Trump over the weekend.

Speaking at the Minnesota Capitol on Saturday, Muslim and Somali leaders gathered behind a lectern adorned with a "Trump Make America Great Again" sign to explain why they cannot possibly support Kamala Harris for president.

'The Democratic Party is now the party of war. It's the party of the billionaires. It's the party of silencing free speech.'

"We're gathered here today to fully support and endorse President Trump and JD Vance," one of the men said.

The leaders felt compelled to endorse Trump because they believe he is the best candidate to lead America after four years under the leadership of Harris and President Joe Biden. Specifically, they praised Trump for his vision and record on the economy, education, immigration, personal freedom, crime and safety, and foreign policy and for promoting conservative family values.

Interestingly, nearly every speaker said they feel that the Democratic Party has abandoned them — becoming a party that doesn't care about the concerns of every day Americans.

One of the most interesting individuals who spoke at the event was Abshir Omar, a man who once worked on Democrat Sen. Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign.

In no uncertain terms, Omar explained he now supports Trump because the Democratic Party has become everything it once claimed to stand against.

"You see all these people in this room were former Democrats — we were die-hard supporters," he said. "We were loyal to the Democratic Party, but that party is no longer loyal to us and no longer loyal to this country. We send billions overseas to prosecute wars against innocent people, yet we can't prosecute war against poverty in this country. We spend billions giving to lobbyists, yet we can't help homelessness in our community.

"The Democratic Party is now the party of war. It's the party of the billionaires. It's the party of silencing free speech," he continued. "That is not who I am, and that is not my values. My values are still my values, but the party of the Democratic Party no longer holds those values to be true, and today, in front of my own community and the rest of our society, I'm telling you I am no longer a Democrat. I have left that party. I have left that party, and I'm sticking to my conscience. I don't care what is politically expedient. I don't care what you look like, who you pray to."

Omar went on to say:

I'm a person of deep Muslim faith. I have Abrahamic religion. I love my Jewish brothers and sisters. I love my Christian brothers and sisters. People come from different communities and backgrounds. We're all the same. We live in a country where we should be working together. Not hurting each other, not defaming each other. We should be protecting the rights of every person to speak. Because today if I am supporting the censorship of a segment of this country — guess what — tomorrow I will be censored too. And I don't want that for myself or for my family.

And that's why it's surprising to say Trump is kind of an a**hole. He says a lot of things. He's not the nicest person in the room. He's not going to sugarcoat things for you. But guess what: The four years he was president, nothing happened to me personally. I was safe; this community was safe. This country was safe.

Another man who spoke at the event said he loves Trump because "he's a fighter."

"More importantly, the left left us. They left us," that man continued. "Thirty-three percent of our kids cannot read — cannot read at grade level. Minnesota in education? We are failing in every standard. Eighth-graders — 60% cannot do math at grade level. These are our kids. We are talking about economic conditions here. Our conditions is [sic] horrible. We can't afford anything as working-class and middle-class people. Now please understand this: We love our brothers and sisters who are Democrats, but you left us.

"And because the left left us, join the right and vote for Trump 2024," he declared.

Harris is facing a well-known problem with Arab-American and Muslim voters, and Trump is benefiting from it.

Not only is Harris viewed as the pro-war candidate, but Muslim voters are often socially conservative, holding values that traditionally align with the Republican Party.

Harris' far-left record and progressive vision, moreover, are weighty baggage that blocs of traditionally Democratic voters — like the Muslims endorsing Trump in Minnesota — can no longer ignore.

Dem House Candidate Gives Victory Speech In Somali After Primary Victory

Ilhan Omar caught on tape saying who her ‘real’ president is

“The whole purpose of the United States of America is that you assimilate into the culture of the United States of America,” says Dave Rubin.

“You don't forget all of your traditions. ... You don't forget where you're from. You don't forget your family,” he says, “but you have it fold into this beautiful thing that is America.”

That concept, however, is wholly lost on Ilhan Omar, who has time and time again expressed anti-American sentiments in favor of her Somali background.

“The problem now is that the progressives and the elitists” — people like Omar — “tell us that this place is evil and it's racist and its founding was awful” because “they want now to turn this country into the types of countries that most of our ancestors had to flee from,” explains Dave.

In a recent speech in which Omar proclaimed her support for Somalia in its territorial dispute with Somaliland, the Minnesota rep. claimed that her true president is the president of Somalia.

“Our president, the president of Somalia — President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud — let us give him a warm welcome, Minneapolis!” Omar announced to a cheering crowd.

“The president and I have a special relationship. I call him uncle, and he calls me his girl. Welcome to your home; our home is your home. ... We are very happy that Hassan is our president. Somalia is our home. It is home to all the people gathered here. We do not feel that it is far from us. Somalia is our heart. It is in our hearts. We always think about Somalia,” Omar continued.

This isn’t the only time Omar has boldly prioritized Somalia above the United States.

She also recently went viral for claiming that “it's the Somalians’ job in the United States to make America work for Somalia.”

“She is a sitting congresswoman,” sighs Dave. “I'm fairly certain that America is our nation,” not Somalia, as Omar repeatedly claimed in her speech.

Naval officer who decapitated Iowa demon statue charged with HATE CRIME?

Former Mississippi political candidate and naval officer Michael Cassidy is facing felony hate crime charges for decapitating a satanic statue in Iowa.

The co-founder of the Satanic Temple that put the statue up claimed putting the statue in a public forum was an expression of religious freedom. Cassidy drove to Iowa to see it for himself and felt so strongly that it shouldn’t be there that he proceeded to destroy the statue.

In the charges against Cassidy, prosecutors cited a violation of individual rights under Iowa’s hate crime statute. In addition, they say evidence suggests Cassidy destroyed the statue due to the victim’s religion.

“I fail to see the victim here,” Sara Gonzales says. “Is the victim the statue? The victim is the person who created this beautiful statue that nobody wanted?”

The creators of the statue are claiming the cost to replace it is between $750 and $1,500.

“Our dark gods are cheap these days,” Chad Prather jokes.

Though he’s facing legal repercussions, Cassidy is now being hailed as a hero by many on the right — and the proof is in the GiveSendGo campaign that has raised over $105,000 for his legal defense.

While Gonzales is happy he’s being helped, she doesn’t find it comforting that Cassidy now has to take on the law.

“It’s just depressing because it’s like, well, they finally stood up and did something and what are the thanks? That they get thrown into prison? Who the hell is going to stand up next time?” Gonzales says.

Ron DeSantis calls for Ilhan Omar to be denaturalized and deported from US

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis — a Republican who abandoned his White House bid earlier this month and endorsed former President Donald Trump — has called for Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota to be expelled from Congress, denaturalized, and deported.

"Expel from Congress, denaturalize and deport!" DeSantis exclaimed in a post on X.

He made the comment when sharing a video of Omar delivering remarks in a foreign language.

Omar, who was born in Somalia, has been serving in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2019.

The video DeSantis was commenting on included English subtitles claiming that Omar had made comments such as "we, as Somalians we love each other" and "we are an organized society brothers and sisters. People of the same blood people who know they are Somalians first, Muslims second, who protect one another come to each other's aid and to the aid of other Muslims too." Later, the subtitles indicated that she said, "Sleep in comfort, knowing I am here to protect the interests of Somalia from inside the U.S. system."

But Omar retweeted Abdirashid Hashi, an individual who posted what he described as "an accurate and verbatim translation" of Omar's comments. "We Somalis are people who love each other," Omar said, according to the translation. "We are sisters and brothers, supporting each other, people who know they are Somalis and Muslims, coming to each other's aid and aiding their brothers and sisters."

"While I am in Congress, no one will take Somalia's sea. The United States will not back others to rob us. So, do not lose sleep over that, O Minnesotans. The lady you sent to Congress is on this, and she is as cognizant of this interest as you are," Omar said, according the translation Hashi posted.

Omar took a jab at DeSantis when reposting an Axios tweet that reads, "Ron DeSantis eyes a 2028 presidential campaign as he moves on from 2024's failure."

"Moving from 2024 failure and preparing for 2028 failure," Omar wrote, adding a thumbs up emoji.

Disgusting: Ilhan Omar pledges alliance to Somalia first, Muslims second, and America ... never?

Representative Ilhan Omar has come under fire after giving a speech during which she pledged her allegiance to “Somalians first, Muslims second.”

“Many Somalians have personally called me to encourage me to speak to the U.S. government and help Somalia,” Omar told the audience. “My answer to Somalians was that the U.S. government will only do what Somalians in the U.S. tell them to do!”

“They will do what we want and nothing else. They must follow our orders, and that is how we will safeguard the interest of Somalia,” she continued. “The U.S. is a country where one of your daughters (myself) is in Congress to represent your interest.”

Pat Gray and Keith Malinak are not surprised but not pleased either.

“Has she been deported yet?” Malinak asks. Gray answers with another question, “Has she been removed from office?”

“I don’t care if you deport her or not, get her out of office. That is outrageous,” Gray adds.

Gray believes it’s the most “egregious” thing he’s ever heard from a U.S. representative.

“In their language, talking about their country, with their interests of that nation over America’s interests,” Gray scoffs.
