Record Voter Turnout Wrecks Democrats’ ‘Jim Crow 2.0’ Lies About Georgia Election Integrity Law

“This is Jim Crow in the 21st Century,” President Joe Biden said in 2021. “These blatantly unconstitutional efforts … are nothing less than Jim Crow 2.0,” failed gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams said. “This is Jim Crow 2.0,” South Carolina Rep. James Clyburn said. That’s how Democrats described Georgia’s Election Integrity Act of 2021, which expanded […]

Here’s The Truth About Georgia’s Election Integrity Bill You Won’t Hear From The ACLU

The left is apoplectic over the bill. That’s a good sign for anyone who values election integrity in Georgia.

Stacey Abrams suggests there will be voter suppression in the Georgia gubernatorial race despite increased voter turnout

Despite the increasing presence of Democratic Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams in culture and politics, she has yet to attain her state's governorship. Abrams believes, ostensibly, that this is due to Georgia Republicans working overtime to implement voter suppression schemes despite her state experiencing trends of increasing voter turnout.

Townhall reported that Abrams recently referred to the state of Georgia as one of the worst states in the U.S. to live in and is subsequently concocting an elaborate damage control scheme.

Reportedly, while on the radio, Abrams said, "I am tired of hearing how we're the best state in the country to do business when we are the worst state in the country to live."

The Democratic political icon continued, "Let me contextualize: When you're No. 48 for mental health, when you're No. 1 for maternal mortality, when you have an incarceration rate that's on the rise and wages that are on the decline, then you are not the No. 1 place to live."

Abrams also said that she believes the state is "capable of greatness" but that "we need greatness to be in our governor's office." She was, of course, referring to herself.

Referring to her potential for leadership, she said, "We need someone who actually believes in bringing all of us in here together."

Naturally, voters don't want to hear someone seeking their state's highest office bad-mouthing the state he or she is seeking to lead.

Despite Abrams' comments, Georgia is one of the many states in the South experiencing an upswing after receiving an influx of people moving to the state for assorted reasons, including economic opportunity.

According to MSNBC, early voter turnout in Georgia's recent primary election cycle increased by over 200%, but Abrams is still claiming voter suppression could keep her from attaining office.

Fox News reported that while she was speaking with Joy Reid on MSNBC's "The Reid Out," Abrams claimed that there was "no correlation" between record-high voter turnout and less voter suppression. Abrams argued that suggesting this was akin to saying "if more people are in the water there are fewer sharks."

Dismissing the theory that more voter turnout equaled less voter suppression, Abrams said, "There'sre's no correlation there. Voter suppression is about blocking or impeding certain types of voters from participating in elections."

Abrams said, "Right now, Republicans have the most competitive elections, but what we don't know is what is the mail-in ballot rejection rate? What are the difficulties people are having?"

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensberger stated that prior to the conclusion of the state's primary elections, the state set new records for in-person early voting.

Raffensberger's office announced via press release that 18,567,815 Georgians voted in person, marking a "189% increase from the same point in the early voting period in the 2018 primary election and a 153% increase in the same point in the early voting period in the 2020 primary election."

Ron DeSantis says there could be a 'cold war' between Florida and Georgia if Stacey Abrams wins in 2022

On Friday, Florida’s Republican Governor Ron DeSantis said that if Stacey Abrams wins Georgia’s upcoming gubernatorial election it could cause a “cold war” between the two states.

“If Stacey Abrams is elected governor of Georgia, I just want to be honest, that will be a cold war between Florida and Georgia,” DeSantis said during a press conference, Fox News reported.

“I can’t have Castro to my south and Abrams to my north, that would be a disaster,” DeSantis added. “So, I hope you guys take care of that and we’ll end up in good shape.”

Fox News reported that a spokesperson for DeSantis’s office said, “The governor was simply making an analogy to the stark ideological differences that underpinned the Cold War. If Stacey Abrams wins the governorship of Georgia, we know that her approach to leadership will involve more heavy-handed government, taxes, and bureaucrat influence.”

“In Florida, Governor DeSantis will continue to keep Florida free and put citizens first,” the spokesperson added.

The governor’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment from TheBlaze.

Stacey Abrams infamously ran for governor in Georgia in 2018 and lost to the state’s incumbent Republican governor Brian Kemp. Abram’s, a self-styled champion of democracy, has yet to concede her loss in the 2018 election.

In the years following her defeat, Abrams has become a icon of the Democratic party and her work in registering voters is credited by leftists for turning out the black vote and helping to elect Georgia’s current Democratic Senators Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff.

Aside from her career in politics, Abrams has become a darling of the media elite in recent years.

According to a recent poll conducted by The Hill and Emerson College, Abrams is trailing both candidates seeking the Republican Party’s gubernatorial nomination in the race. Incumbent Gov. Brian Kemp is leading Abrams by a 51 percent to 44 percent margin, and the former Republican United States Senator from Georgia, David Perdue, is leading her by a 49 percent to 44 percent margin.

DeSantis is also currently running for Governor, and according to recent reports his reelection campaign has raised more money than any other gubernatorial candidate in American history.

DeSantis’s popularity continues to rise among Republicans as he continues to enact legislation expanding and protecting the rights of parents. Despite the corporate media’s barrage of attacks against DeSantis, this legislation has widespread support among Floridians.

Recently conducted polling shows that when presented with the actual text of one such piece of legislation — in this instance the Parental Rights in Education bill — more than six in 10 Americans supported it. The bill, that has since become law, was favored by 69 percent of surveyed Republicans and 62 percent of surveyed Democrats.

Stacey Abrams deletes photo of herself grinning unmasked in a classroom surrounded by young children forced to wear masks after being called out for breaking mask mandate

Democratic darling Stacey Abrams shared a photo of her unmasked in a classroom full of young children who were forced to wear face masks. However, the photo was removed from social media after Abrams was skewered for the awful optics and accused of engaging in hypocritical behavior of flouting a mask mandate.

On Friday, Abrams visited the Glennwood Elementary School outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Holly Brookins – the principal of Glennwood Elementary School – shared three photos of an unmasked Abrams on her Twitter account, which is no longer active.

The Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate retweeted the principal's tweet featuring photos of her at the school.

One photo shows a smiling Abrams without a mask in a classroom where every young child and school faculty member are wearing face masks. In another picture, an unmasked Abrams appears to hug a school faculty member who is wearing a mask. Abrams is seen without a mask delivering a speech to the students in another photo.

However, by Saturday the photos were deleted.

The school is located in Decatur City, which recently extended its face mask mandate until February 22, 2022.

The photos of the grinning Democratic politician in a room full of masked children enraged many.

Georgia governor Brian Kemp (R): "Stacey Abrams wants state government mask mandates for Georgians and their children. But it looks like they wouldn’t apply when she’s attending a photo op."

National Review editor Rich Lowry: "Confirmation, if any were needed, that Stacey Abrams is a member of the Democratic elite in good standing—mask hypocrisy is practically a status symbol now."

Former Trump senior advisor Stephen Miller: "In so many ways, this picture embodies the elitism, arrogance, cruelty, science denial, and glib authoritarianism of Joe Biden’s Democrat Party."

Journalist Glenn Greenwald: "Meanwhile: since @staceyabrams is a very sophisticated and important liberal, I'm sure there's something in The Science™ that justifies her being maskless indoors, surrounded by young kids forced to wear masks all day. Maybe she's holding her breath?"

Republican candidate for Georgia's 6th congressional district Jake Evans: "Stacey Abrams is mask-less while all the children around her suffer. This is child abuse."

Conservative think tank American Principles Project: "Self-righteous politicians show off their smile as they force your children to be muzzled all day, set back years in their development, and carry the burden of a pandemic that was never at high risk to them."

Board-certified ophthalmologist and biomedical research scientist Houman David Hemmati: "This recent image of political activist @staceyabrams of Georgia (who is at VERY high risk for COVID death) sitting unmasked, with a huge wide grin, in front of forcibly masked kids whose smiles we/they will never see, exemplifies the hypocrisy of politicians."

Political strategist Justin Hart: "When Stacey Abrams runs for office again just plaster this picture on a billboard."

Washington Examiner executive editor Seth Mandel: "Stacey Abrams cutting an ad for her opponent is extremely weird I would not recommend this strategy."

Outkick founder Clay Travis: "The number of left wing politicians who post photos posing without masks while all the kids around them are wearing masks is stunning. Here is Stacey Abrams doing it. This is child abuse."

Political strategist Caleb Hull: "Stacey Abrams, who is obese and in the high risk category, not wearing a mask while children, who are in the lowest risk category, are all masked just about sums this whole pandemic up."

Communications director for Rep. Andrew Clyde (R-Ga.) – Madeline Corso: "Just to recap… Youngkin: anti-mandates & didn’t wear a mask in a VA grocery store where it’s optional. Abrams: pro-mandates & didn’t wear a mask in a GA school where children are forced to wear them There’s a reason only one of them is a governor—and the other never will be."

Talk show host Larry O'Connor: "Are these little children forced to wear masks to protect @staceyabrams? What kind of cruel monster makes little children cover their faces so they can have a photo op without fear of viral infection? If you're so afraid that you make kids wear masks around you, stay home!"

In the past, Abrams has told others to wear face masks.

As our nation\u2019s COVID death toll exceeds the 1918-19 Spanish flu, Georgia tragically has more than 20,000 souls in the number. We mourn their passing, and we should be doing more to save lives. Wear masks. Get vaccinated. Support healthcare workers w/more than rhetoric. Do right.
