Video: Thug sucker-punches 68-year-old market worker in face, knocks him out. Victim suffers fractured skull, brain bleeding.

Authorities have accused a 25-year-old male of sucker-punching a 68-year-old market worker in the face, knocking out the victim and hospitalizing him with a fractured skull and brain bleeding.

What are the details?

Surveillance video shows Carlos Munguia taking out the trash as part of his job at Sun Valley Market and Liquor in Winchester, California, late last month, KTLA-TV reported.

Video also shows a man approaching Munguia and beginning to talk to him, when the man suddenly punches Munguia in the face.

Munguia falls on his back and is knocked unconscious, the station said, as the back of his head hits the surface of the parking lot. The attacker runs off.

“We don’t know what the conversation was about,” Alma Romero, the victim’s daughter-in-law, told KTLA. “Maybe he was asking for money, but Carlos is a person that will give money to a person that needs it. If they need food, he would give it to them.”

Munguia's wife, who works at the market with him, told KTLA she noticed he’d been gone for a while, but she didn't know anything was wrong until a customer helped Munguia to his feet and brought him back into the market.

Initially Munguia thought he simply fell down, but his family learned what actually happened after viewing the surveillance video, the station said.

Munguia has been hospitalized ever since the Oct. 27 attack, KTLA said, adding that his family said he suffered a fractured skull and brain bleeding and has a lengthy road to recovery ahead of him.

“Right now, he barely opens his eyes. There’s times that he knows who we are and days where he doesn’t know who we are,” Alma Romero, the victim’s daughter-in-law, told the station. “It’s sad. We can’t talk to him or bring him home.”

Who is the suspect?

Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies arrested suspect Izack Ramirez of Winchester the day after the attack, KTLA said, adding that authorities said they found evidence of the crime while serving a search warrant at Ramirez's home.

“We just want this guy to stay in jail, do his time,” Romero noted to the station. “It’s not fair that he hit an elderly 68-year-old that wasn’t doing anything wrong.”

KTLA said Ramirez has pleaded not guilty in the face of numerous felony charges, including inflicting great bodily injury to an elder. The station said he's due back in court Friday.

Munguia’s family also launched a GoFundMe page to help with medical expenses, which include surgeries and his hospital stay.

Sucker-puncher, now arrested and charged, allegedly did worse stuff to unsuspecting folks than just clobber them from behind

Blaze News earlier this week reported about a 19-year-old male who admitted to sucker-punching unsuspecting folks while being recorded on video just so he could get likes and views on YouTube and TikTok.

If that isn't disturbing enough, Alford Lewis told KHOU-TV that while he regrets his violent actions, he "just made a mistake, and everybody makes mistakes" and "from the video all you see is the bad part about it."

Well, Lewis allegedly carried out far worse deeds against his sucker-punched victims.

What are the details?

Lewis was charged with assault with bodily injury and aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon in connection with two incidents that took place last Thursday, KHOU-TV reported in a separate story, citing court documents.

One man told the Harris County Sheriff's Office he was walking on a trail when a male later identified as Lewis approached him from behind and punched him in the head, the station said.

The victim added that he saw a second male recording video of the attack on his phone as Lewis laughed at him, KHOU noted.

The victim asked Lewis why he was doing this, but both Lewis and the second male just continued to laugh, the station said.

The victim also noted that he saw Lewis grab something from a pocket underneath his red hoodie and believed Lewis had a gun, KHOU reported, adding that the victim then tried to de-escalate things by telling Lewis he forgave him.

Lewis and the second male who was taking video just continued to laugh and then ran from the scene, the station said, citing the victim's account to deputies.

Investigators told KHOU they identified Lewis and the male taking video from comments under the video posted to social media — and they also spotted a gun in one of the video stills.

Prior to the aforementioned incident, a similar attack took place involving Lewis and a male taking video, the station said.

Court documents indicate that a second victim was on the same trail and said Lewis approached him and tapped him on the shoulder with a gun in his hand, KHOU reported, adding that the victim also saw another male recording video.

Lewis then pointed the gun at the victim and demanded his phone, the station said, citing court documents. After the victim refused, Lewis asked the victim if he wanted to be shot in the foot, KHOU reported.

Lewis then gave the gun to the male recording video, who kept the gun pointed at the victim, the station said. The victim said Lewis charged at him and hit him several times in the head and upper body, KHOU added. Lewis then put the victim in a choke hold and hit him several more times, the station said.

The victim got away and ran from Lewis and the second male, KHOU reported, adding that investigators said a witness recognized Lewis and the second male from school.

What happened next?

While prosecutors asked for a $75,000 bond for one charge, a judge on Monday evening set bond at $10,000 total for both charges and ordered Lewis to wear an ankle monitor, the station said.

Sucker-puncher, 19, says he clobbered unsuspecting victims on video for social media likes, claims 'all you see is the bad part about it'

A 19-year-old sucker-puncher admitted to KHOU-TV that he clobbered unsuspecting victims at a Houston park while being recorded on video just to get likes and views on YouTube and TikTok.

Oh, and Alford Lewis added to the station that while he regrets his violent actions, he "just made a mistake, and everybody makes mistakes" and "from the video all you see is the bad part about it."

What are the details?

The disturbing video shot at Wortham Park showed a male dressed in a red hoodie with the name "Spartans" on the front randomly approaching unsuspecting people from behind and sucker-punching them, KHOU reported, adding that the culprit also tried to tackle a man at the Cypress-area park earlier this week.

The video drew hundreds of comments and sparked concern among nearby residents who also use the park's trail, the station said.

Well, a KHOU reporter caught up with the sucker-puncher, interviewed him about what was going through his mind, and said the sucker-puncher now regrets his violent actions.

"Yes, yes I do," Lewis told the station during an on-camera interview outside his home, not far from the park. "You know, I just made a mistake, and everybody makes mistakes."

Lewis also admitted to KHOU that his parents weren't thrilled when they found out about his ill-advised stunt.

But believe it or not, he added to the station that not everything about his exploits was negative.

"I really didn't expect for it to go so left, you know," Lewis noted to KHOU. "I know from the video all you see is the bad part about it. But what people don't see is that I shook his hand after and gave the man a hug." The station said it couldn't verify that part of Lewis' story.

In addition, he noted to KHOU that the outrage over the video of him sucker-punching people made him reconsider his stunt — and he's hopeful that others will learn from his mistake.

"Before you go out and do anything you feel is bad, or that could look bad, make sure, like, people know — or just don't do it at all," Lewis told the station.

Anything else?

The Harris County Sheriff's Office told KHOU that its violent crimes division is investigating the video and that the victims may have to file charges for the case to proceed.

74-year-old woman brutally sucker-punched in face by much larger female during stroll down Manhattan sidewalk

An elderly woman was brutally sucker-punched by a much larger female in a broad daylight attack in New York City last week.

What are the details?

The unprovoked punch was captured on surveillance video as the 74-year-old victim was strolling down Madison Avenue near East 52nd Street in midtown Manhattan around 11 a.m. Wednesday, the New York Post reported.

Video shows the suspect standing near a building, bending down to pick up a duffle bag, and then suddenly punching the victim in the side of her face as she walked by, the paper said.

Image source: New York Post video screenshot

The elderly victim stumbled and fell on the sidewalk several feet away as the suspect casually walked away in the opposite direction of where the victim had been walking, video shows.

Image source: New York Post video screenshot

A bystander appeared to come to the victim's aid, the Post said.

Video also shows the suspect – who was still at large Friday, the Post said – looking over her right shoulder toward the scene of the crime while lifting up her left hand apparently as if to blow off what she did.

The victim was taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Manhattan in stable condition, the paper said.

The suspect was wearing her hair up, was dressed in a white hoodie and black shorts, and was carrying a black duffel bag, the Post added.

Anything else?

A felon accused of sucker-punching a man in New York City earlier this month — fracturing the victim's skull and leaving him in coma — was released with no bail after charges against him were downgraded from attempted murder to assault and harassment.

The suspect was arrested a day later for a parole violation, the New York Post reported, adding that Democrat Gov. Kathy Hochul claimed credit despite her refusal to roll back New York state’s controversial bail-reform law.

Felon accused of sucker-punching man in NYC, fracturing his skull, and leaving him in coma released with no bail after charges downgraded from attempted murder

A felon accused of sucker-punching a man in New York City — fracturing the victim's skull and leaving him in coma — was released with no bail Thursday after charges against him were downgraded from attempted murder to assault and harassment.

What are the details?

Police said surveillance video from last Friday night shows 55-year-old Bui Van Phu putting on gloves, walking up behind 52-year-old Jesus Cortez, and then sucker-punching Cortes in the back of the head and knocking him to the ground on East 188th Street in the Fordham section the Bronx, WCBS-TV reported.

Cortes has a fractured skull and is in a coma, WCBS said in follow-up story, citing the Bronx District Attorney.

New York City Police believe Cortes and Phu had been inside the Fuego Tipico restaurant on East 188th Street just prior to the unprovoked attack, the station said, adding that police said the sucker punch came "without prior conversation or altercation."

Phu has a criminal history dating back to 1989, WCBS reported. He's been on lifetime parole for raping a 17-year-old girl on Christmas Eve in 1994, WABC-TV reported, citing state records.

Cortes is an immigrant from Mexico, WCBS said, adding that he attends church and is very active with a Mexican folklore group in the Bronx.

What else?

The NYPD charged Phu with attempted murder after arresting him Wednesday, the New York Post reported.

But the Daily Mail said court records it obtained indicate Phu's charges are now third-degree assault and second-degree harassment — misdemeanors — because he "intentionally (caused) physical injury and with intent to harass, annoy or alarm another person."

A DA’s office spokesperson told the Post that "when we got the case, we evaluated and charged based on evidence we had. The investigation is continuing.”

Phu allegedly confessed the crime to his parole officer, the paper added, citing the complaint against him.

“I hit someone, and he’s in the hospital. I don’t know if he’s dead,” Phu told the parole officer, the Post noted, citing the complaint. “The police are looking for me.”

Phu is on supervised release, the Daily Mail said.

Video: Florida track athlete sucker-punched from behind during race

Will Smith wasn't the only one who delivered a shocking blow in front of a live audience over the weekend.

A high school track meet in Florida suddenly turned violent as well, when a runner dashed up behind another runner mid-race and sucker-punched him in the side of the head.

What are the details?

The incident, which occurred at the Tohopekaliga Tiger Invitational in Kissimmee, Florida, Saturday, was caught on video and posted by the Twitter account Baseball Fight Club, TMZ Sports reported.

The video has since gone viral with more than 2 million views on just that account alone as of Thursday morning.

(Warning: Video contains graphic content and vulgar language that some viewers may find disturbing.)

According to TMZ, witnesses of the incident said the attacking runner (in the black uniform) wasn't involved in the race but apparently was on the track when the race began.

During his first lap, the leading runner (in the white and red uniform) yelled at him to get out of the way, but the athlete refused. The next time around the track, he purposelly stood in the way. That's when the runner in white and red shoved him, causing him to become enraged.

The runner in black allegedly chased down the leader of the race and punched him hard, causing him to fall to the ground. Based on the video, it is not clear whether the attacked runner was able to finish the race or whether he suffered significant injuries.

What else?

Canadian Running magazine reported the attack happened during a 1,600-meter race.

Further details about the incident remain scarce. TMZ Sports reportedly reached out to the district that hosted the event, but in response, the district said no Osceola County students were involved.

The outlet did claim, however, that law enforcement and the Florida High School Athletic Association were notified of the incident.

TheBlaze reached out to Kissimmee Police Department and the Florida High School Athletic Association for more information about the incident and will update this article if a response is given.

Anything else?

While the runner in black was not involved in the race, he was a fellow high school athlete who participated in other events at the meet. A close-up shot of his uniform seemed to indicate that he is a member of the Cypress Creek High School track team, OutKick reported.

According to race results, Cypress Creek High School did take part in the event.

Two males knocked out cold by same thug on busy Chicago street — and at least 5 females seem to respond by twerking in front of traffic

It's been quite a summer for Chicago.

This season a dozen cops turned their backs on far-left Mayor Lori Lightfoot after the murder of Officer Ella French at a traffic stop that Lightfoot blamed on guns, a 73-year-old Vietnam veteran died after carjackers repeatedly punched him in the head outside his favorite grocery store, fifth graders were reported to have access to condoms in elementary schools this year, and a gang dragged a couple from their car and shot them at point-blank range in front of their baby .

That doesn't begin to scratch the surface — and now the Windy City has more notoriety to add to its resume.

Now what?

Surveillance video caught action on the 400 block of State Street around 1:30 a.m. Saturday showing a man in a green shirt and dark shorts being chased and confronted by at least two other men.

It isn't clear what precipitated the incident, but the pair take turns pushing and punching the man, who at times appears to square up in preparation for a fight — but at other times attempts to run off.

It's no use, though. One of his pursuers — a much taller man wearing a blue baseball cap and dark mask over his mouth and nose — body slams the man.

Seconds later he delivers a left cross at the man's head, and the victim collapses in the middle of the street.

It gets worse

A number of females — about five, roughly — appear to react to the excitement by twerking in a traffic lane just feet away while vehicles wait for their spectacle to end.

Then the same wannabe boxer who knocked out the man moments earlier spots another man — seemingly unconnected to whatever transpired with the first victim — crossing State Street.

And with that, he comes up behind the man crossing the street and wallops him with a left-handed sucker punch to the head.

The second victim also collapses on the street, apparently out cold.

Crowds gathered around each victim, but most of them apparently only in an effort to steal from them rather than to render aid or end the violence.

One guy even stole the second victim's shoes:

The first victim actually got up from the street and tried fighting back, and the seemingly much worse off second victim staggered toward the sidewalk, but they were both attacked again and ended up like this:

Here's the clip:

What happened in the aftermath?

A police spokesperson told CWB Chicago the man in the green shirt suffered abrasions to his face and refused medical attention. The station added that the 40-year-old man who was sucker-punched was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital and his condition wasn't known.

Police added to CWB Chicago that both men were robbed and that no arrests have been made.

'Jesus Christ is coming back!' declares apparent Trump supporter after DC rally. Antifa militant punches him from behind in head soon after.

With every cowardly attack, Antifa is drawing a pretty clear picture of what the leftist militants are all about:

What's the latest?

Oh, almost forgot: Antifa bros also like to attack their opponents from behind. And that stomach-turning tactic was on full display after the rally supporting President Donald Trump in Washington, D.C., on Saturday.

A couple was caught on video strolling down the sidewalk with a gang of Antifa militants following them.

Image source: Instagram video screenshot via @livesmatterofficial

Then the man — an apparent Trump supporter — declares as video rolls that "Jesus Christ is coming again!"

There's a brief cut in the clip that shows the couple having moved down the sidewalk about a building's length — and then a rather large Antifa militant comes up to the man from behind and wallops him in the side of the head:

Image source: Instagram video screenshot via @livesmatterofficial

Soon after the victim apparently was maced:

Image source: Instagram video screenshot via @livesmatterofficial

But does the leftist who hit the man stick around to finish him off? Nope. As noted above, Antifa also are very adept at running away — and that's just what this tough guy did.

Not that it deterred the victim at all, who put aside turning the other cheek for the moment and ran after his assailant:

Image source: Instagram video screenshot via @livesmatterofficial

But alas, it was to no avail; the Antifa bro was rather fleet of foot.

At some other point in the proceedings the victim — after being punched in the head from behind and maced — was tackled from behind near a bicycle by yet another Antifa militant who also punched him from behind several times:

Image source: Instagram video screenshot via @livesmatterofficial

Of course, like clockwork, the assailant scoots away. The victim appears to have some sort of baton on him. Maybe it would come in handy — if his attackers ever manage the guts to come at him face to face.
