Killer who began male-to-female transition in prison after decapitating man just learned fate for fatally stabbing second man

A convicted killer who began transitioning his gender identity while in prison after his grisly decapitation murder of a victim in Oklahoma has been sentenced for the stabbing death of a second man — a New York City antiques dealer.

On Thursday, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg Jr. announced the prison sentence of Alex Ray Scott for the stabbing murder of 64-year-old Kenneth Savinski in January 2020. Scott was sentenced to 22 years to life in prison.

Law enforcement said the victim had been decapitated with a chainsaw-like instrument.

Scott, from Oklahoma, pleaded guilty Sept. 9 in New York State Supreme Court to one count of murder in the second degree and two counts of criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree.

“Alex Ray Scott will serve a significant prison term for the brutal and senseless murder of Kenneth Savinski — a beloved, friendly person and respected churchgoer,” Bragg said in a statement. “Mr. Savinski’s loss not only devastated his friends and family but shocked his tight-knit community. Although we cannot bring Mr. Savinski back, I hope the resolution of this case offers his loved ones a sense of justice in their ongoing grief.”

Authorities said Scott met Savinski on a dating app, and the pair were "enjoying a night out together" on Jan. 27, 2020. At around 11:30 p.m., Scott allegedly was invited back to Savinski's Upper East Side apartment.

The next day, police discovered Savinski "unresponsive, face down, and covered in blood on his living room floor at his East 83rd Street apartment," according to the New York Post.

Prosecutors said Savinski was wounded on the head and neck, suffering a broken hyoid bone — which is in the neck and under the chin — a slit throat, and large, deep cuts across his face and forehead. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities believe Scott killed Savinski with a decorative plate, kitchen knife, and “maybe a pen.”

Scott turned himself in at the NYPD's 19th Precinct stationhouse on Jan. 30, 2020, and was arrested the next day after two of Savinski’s credit cards were found in Scott's possession.

Scott reportedly told investigators he had no memory of the gruesome attack. According to the indictment, Scott later told detectives, “I think I may have killed someone last night.”

During the investigation into Savinski's bloody murder, Scott allegedly confessed to killing another person in an unrelated case.

Scott reportedly had credit cards in his possession belonging to Robin Skocdopole, who lived in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

Authorities searched Skocdopole's home, which was empty of all possessions — but there were pools of blood inside the residence, federal prosecutors stated.

Skocdopole had not been seen since August 2019.

Fox News reported Scott rented a room from Skocdopole and then told others that the landlord abruptly moved for work to Dallas.

In May 2020, Skocdopole's remains were on the edge of a creek in Broken Arrow.

Law enforcement said the victim had been decapitated with a chainsaw-like instrument.

Last May, the U.S. Attorney's Office of the Northern District of Oklahoma said in a press release, "The medical examiner’s report indicated two different saws were used during the dismemberment including a saw comparable to a chainsaw."

Scott was convicted of second-degree murder, and in May, was sentenced to 540 months in prison followed by five years of supervised release.

“Alex Scott was sentenced for the murder and dismemberment of Robin Skocdopole,” said U.S. attorney Clint Johnson. “This successful prosecution was the result of the exhaustive investigation and outstanding cooperation between federal, state, and local law enforcement. We will continue to work with law enforcement partners to hold violent offenders accountable.”

While in jail, Scott began a transition to a transgender individual.

Scott — a biological male who previously sported a beard — presented a feminine appearance during this week's sentencing hearing for the murder of Savinski.

The New York Post reported that Scott was also facing charges in his home state of Oklahoma for allegedly sexually assaulting a 6-year-old boy.

Homeless male wearing blonde wig, makeup, and pearls accused of trying to kidnap 11-year-old boy outside his home

A homeless male wearing a blonde wig, makeup, and pearls is accused of attempting to kidnap an 11-year-old boy outside of his Ohio home.

According to the Alliance Police Department, 39-year-old Joshua Freyermuth was arrested Sunday for attempting to kidnap the boy that same day.

'He kicked his heels off — my son said he had white high heels on — and then he took off running down the street.'

Freyermuth allegedly approached the child while he was outside his home in Alliance — roughly 30 miles southeast of Akron.

Freyermuth — who also goes by the name Vicky, according to the Daily Mail — was accused of attempting to lure the boy away from his property.

The police report stated that Freyermuth told the child, “I need to talk to you.”

WOIO-TV reported that the child refused, and Freyermuth attempted to grab the boy on South Webb Avenue.

The alleged victim said he was able to get away because the family's dog attacked the suspect.

"When he grabbed my son's arm, my dog attacked him, and then he stumbled back off the stairs," the child's father, Zachery Thurmond, told WOIO. "He kicked his heels off — my son said he had white high heels on — and then he took off running down the street."

The father said he chased after the male.

Alliance police said they had enough evidence to make an arrest.

Police also noted that there has been quite a reaction on social media. An Alliance police spokesperson said Freyermuth's arrest is "probably just as well for his safety" because of the number of people "who have decided they want to take this into their own hands."

However, Freyermuth has denied the allegations.

Still wearing his blonde wig during his arraignment Monday in Alliance Municipal Court on attempted kidnapping charges, Freyermuth told the judge, “I wasn’t even there. I didn’t try to kidnap anybody.”

The suspect said he has an alibi and that he was at a friend's house when the alleged attempted child abduction was said to have occurred.

Freyermuth's bond was set at $100,000, and he has been ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim.

Freyermuth also was arrested Friday on drug possession charges after police said they found methamphetamine in his car.

Police said they pulled Freyermuth over after they received reports of a suspect driving around trying to speak to children, according to the New York Post.

Freyermuth's mugshot for that arrest shows him wearing a different wig, and he was released on bond for that charge.

Police are still investigating the alleged incident.

MrBeast's transgender costar quits massively popular children's YouTube channel after grooming accusations

Ava Kris Tyson — a biological male born Chris Tyson before transitioning — was a costar of the MrBeast YouTube channel, which is massively popular with children. However, the 28-year-old transgender YouTube star permanently quit after grooming allegations. Tyson has denied the accusations.

Last month, allegations surfaced in a YouTube video and accused Tyson of grooming a 13-year-old. At the time of the alleged grooming, Tyson was age 20.

The alleged victim — who is now an adult — has recently come out to deny the grooming allegations against Tyson.

"These videos are massive lies and twisting the truth," the alleged victim said. "Ava never did anything wrong and just made a few edgy jokes. I was never exploited or taken advantage of."

On Tuesday, Tyson also denied the accusations in a post on the X social media platform:

"I would like to apologize for any of my past behavior or comments if it hurt or offended anyone. It was not my intent. Seeing recent events we’ve mutually decided it’s best I permanently step away from all things MrBeast and social media to focus on my family and mental health. To lump these two factors together to create a narrative that my behavior extended beyond bad edgy jokes is disgusting and did not happen. In past years, I have learned that my old humor is not acceptable. I cannot change who I was, but I can continue to work on myself. I don't want these accusations to impact the hundreds of people who work at MrBeast, which is why I have stepped away."

The MrBeast account features videos of challenges, extravagant stunts, pranks, and philanthropy.

The star of the channel is Jimmy Donaldson – who is MrBeast.

'I am a woman! She/her. I've never said that publicly, but I've been fully confident in that decision for over a year now.'

Tyson and Donaldson were childhood friends and both had been involved in the MrBeast YouTube account since it started garnering popularity.

The MrBeast channel is far and away the most popular YouTube account in the world with more than 305 million subscribers and over 55 billion views.

According to an informal poll with over 1.5 million responses on the official MrBeast X account conducted in 2023, roughly 42% of the MrBeast audience is age 20 or younger.

Tyson married influencer Katie Tyson in 2018 before welcoming a baby in 2020.

Tyson reportedly came out as bisexual in 2020.

In a since-deleted tweet posted in 2023, Tyson allegedly said, "For a little over a year now me and Katie have been separated. We are finalizing things soon but these things take time."

Tyson started hormone replacement therapy in February 2023.

During an interview conducted in July 2023, Tyson claimed to be a woman.

"I am a woman! She/her. I've never said that publicly, but I've been fully confident in that decision for over a year now," Tyson declared.

Donaldson and Tyson did not respond to a request for comment by the BBC.

6 stabbed, including 4 girls at Mass. movie theater, in separate attacks by alleged wig-wearing suspect linked to Connecticut murder

A knife-wielding man went on a stabbing rampage in Massachusetts on Saturday evening. Police believe there were two separate stabbing attacks by the same suspect, including the assault of young girls at a movie theater. Law enforcement sources said the suspect is also connected to a murder investigation in Connecticut.

Around 6 p.m. on Saturday, a man entered the AMC movie theater in Braintree, Massachusetts. He allegedly walked straight past the ticket booth and entered one of the theaters without paying.

Without any warning, the suspect reportedly stabbed four young girls inside the AMC Braintree 10. The four girls stabbed in the unprovoked ranged in age from 9 to 17, according to a statement from the Braintree Police Department. The victims were rushed to Boston-area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

An AMC employee who was working at the concession stand at the time of the stabbings described the man as wearing "an oversized trench coat, sunglasses, and a long blonde wig," according to WBZ-TV.

The suspect fled the crime scene in a black SUV, according to police.

After fleeing from the movie theater, the suspect allegedly drove over 30 miles to Plymouth, Massachusetts.

At approximately 7:04 p.m., police responded to 911 calls of two people being stabbed at the McDonalds in Plymouth. Inside the fast food restaurant was a 21-year-old female and a 29-year-old male with stab wounds, according to a press release from the Massachusetts State Police. The victims were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Braintree Police Department said a "vehicle matching the description was reportedly involved in a similar assault in Plymouth."

Troopers attempted to pull over the suspect, but he refused to yield, and led the officers on a police chase.

The suspect was pursued by Massachusetts State Police, he crashed his vehicle, and he was taken into custody.

He was finally apprehended in Sandwich, Massachusetts – roughly 50 miles from the AMC theater.

The suspect was taken to an area hospital for treatment from his injuries in the car crash.

"Preliminary investigation suggests a likely connection to an earlier incident at a movie theatre in Braintree resulting in non-life threatening injuries to four juveniles," the Massachusetts State Police said.

Citing a law enforcement source, WFXT reported that the suspect is Jared Ravizza.

Sources informed WBZ-TV that Ravizza is also connected to a murder investigation in Deep River, Connecticut.

Connecticut State Police said troopers responded to a "disturbance" on Saturday afternoon and discovered a "deceased individual." Police did not reveal the identity of the individual.

"A suspect in this investigation has been taken into custody in the State of Massachusetts and there is no active threat to the public," Connecticut State Police stated in a news release.

Deep River is approximately 120 miles from Braintree.

Investigations are active and ongoing on all three incidents.

Transgender suspect repeatedly mowed down man with car before kissing him in some of the most horrifying video police have ever seen

Disturbing video shows the moment a Texas transgender suspect repeatedly mowed down a man in Houston before kissing him and stabbing him. Law enforcement has said the footage is some of the most horrifying video they have ever seen.

The transgender suspect – 20-year-old Karon Fisher – was arrested and charged with murder, evading arrest with a vehicle, and assaulting hospital personnel. Fisher was being held on a $2 million bond.

Steven Anderson, 64, was on his way to pick up the mail in his Houston neighborhood on May 3. Suddenly, a white sports car is speeding down the residential street straight at Anderson. The Dodge Challenger slams into Anderson at a high rate of speed.

Surveillance video shows Fisher put the car in reverse and run over Anderson, causing his body to move several feet.

Witnesses called 911 to report the man being severely injured by the car attack.

Then, Fisher is seen walking over to the crime scene with a knife in hand.

Fisher flips Anderson over, straddles over him, and kisses him. Fisher then reportedly stabbed Anderson nine times, according to KTRK-TV.

Officers found the victim unresponsive in the driveway. Anderson was pronounced dead at the crime scene.

Fisher – who was dressed in a black bra and high-waisted black shorts – attempted to casually escape the crime scene in another vehicle. However, the suspect was unable to gain access to the car and left the area by jumping over the lifeless body and walking away.

Law enforcement sources said the footage was some of the most horrifying police have ever seen in their careers.

A neighbor told KTRK-TV, "It's very disturbing. I have kids here; they could have been out here playing, and imagine them."

Another neighbor added, "Broad daylight. People around every time and it happened right under our noses."

Fisher is identified in court records as a man, but was also described as a woman by police.

On the same day as the alleged murder, Fisher was reportedly charged with assaulting a staff member at the hospital.

Earlier this month, Fisher was on community supervision for evading an arrest in 2023.

In 2021, Fisher was charged with prostitution, but the case was reportedly dismissed.

Fisher is scheduled to return to court on May 24.

Biological male killed 12-year-old girl who he had alleged sexual relationship with, transitioned to transgender after arrest

A biological male from Pennsylvania confessed to killing a 12-year-old girl who he allegedly had a sexual relationship with. However, after the male was arrested, the suspect transitioned to a transgender individual.

Ash Cooper, a transgender individual who previously went by the name of Joshua Cooper before being arrested, pleaded guilty to third-degree murder, possession of an instrument of crime, and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence on Thursday. The judge sentenced the 18-year-old Cooper to 15 to 40 years in prison.

Cooper, who was 16 at the time of the murder, admitted to killing 12-year-old Morgan Connors at a trailer park in Bensalem Township on Nov. 25, 2022.

However, Cooper allegedly showed a female friend the bloody body of the deceased 12-year-old girl on an Instagram video chat. Cooper then attempted to convince the friend to help dispose of Morgan's body, according to court documents.

The friend allegedly informed her mother, who then contacted the police.

When law enforcement arrived at the crime scene, they saw a teen "running out of the back of the trailer."

The Bucks County Courier Times reported, "Inside the home police found the body of a girl with her pants around her ankles on the bathroom floor. It appeared she had been shot, police said. The officers also saw towels drenched in blood, cleaning supplies, and the strong odor of bleach."

"Officers entered the residence and observed a deceased juvenile female, later identified as Connors, on the floor of the bathroom with an apparent gunshot wound," the Bucks County District Attorney's Office stated.

Morgan's cause of death was a single gunshot wound to the neck and upper chest area.

Police noticed that there was an attempt to clean up the gruesome murder scene.

"There were also indications that substantial steps were taken to clean up the crime scene," police said.

Cooper later admitted to using the father's gun to shoot Connors, which had been stored in a safe.

According to an affidavit of probable cause, Cooper told police that the murder "was an accident ... '[he's] sorry' and that he's 'going to jail for the rest of his life.'"

WPVI-TV reported, "The affidavit also states that during an interview with Cooper's mother and police, Cooper claimed at one time he was in a sexual relationship with the victim."

The Daily Mail reported, "During the investigation, officials discovered Cooper was accused of sexual assault in a previous unrelated case. She was found guilty in juvenile court."

Cooper was initially charged as Joshua Cooper, but began transitioning to a transgender individual after the arrest. During the trial, Cooper's lawyer asked the court to identify Joshua as Ash.

Chief Deputy District Attorney Kristin M. McElroy read a statement from Connors' grandfather during the sentencing that stated: "The human heart is not built for such heartbreak."
