Former Trump lawyer REACTS to being indicted alongside Trump and other alleged 'co-conspirators'

Jenna Ellis is a conservative lawyer who served on Donald Trump’s legal team during his time in the White House.

She is also one of the “co-conspirators” who’s been indicted alongside Trump in Georgia.

“What Georgia is saying to those of us who are targeted by this indictment is that if you dare to represent as a lawyer our political opponent, then you deserve to go to jail, you deserve to have your livelihood taken away, you deserve to have your reputation trashed,” she tells Steve Deace.

“Later this week I will actually have to go and surrender to Fulton County Jail and literally become a political prisoner and get arrested because I dared to stand up for a client and because I dare to speak truth,” she continues.

Although Ellis did not foresee herself being indicted, her faith in God remains unshakable.

“This is what God has for me to walk through,” she tells Steve, adding, “I know that people will be watching me as a Christian, and I want to respond rightly.”

“Did you have difficulty acquiring competent counsel that was willing to take on the very system that then may later try to do to them exactly what they're now trying to do to you?” asks Steve.

“I mean, I had people quote to me up to one million dollars just as a retainer fee because this is so high-profile – it's Trump-related,” says Ellis, “and you know, necessarily people have to, unfortunately, take that into consideration of whether representing a lawyer who represented Donald Trump would then be attacked for their own position.”

Unfortunately, that’s not where Ellis’ struggles end. She says some Trump supporters are hoping for her defeat in the upcoming trial simply because she “[dares] to say good things about Governor DeSantis” on occasion.

“I would never want to see the system being weaponized against someone who … represented legally Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden or even Hunter Biden,” she tells Steve.

“Every single person, no matter if you're Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Hunter Biden – I don't care who you are; you deserve competent counsel … that’s the constitutional system in America,” Ellis says.

Will taking Trump's MUG SHOT BACKFIRE for Democrats?

Donald Trump is scheduled to turn himself in to the Fulton County Jail as at least 11 of the 19 defendants already have — and Glenn Beck is concerned.

“There’s no way any of this would be happening if Donald Trump decided not to run. But he’s decided to run, and so they are going to put him in jail come hell or high water,” Glenn tells guest Jack Posobiec.

“Every American should be saying, ‘Wait a minute, no, what is happening here?’ and ‘We want real answers and you’ve been stonewalling on all of these things,’” he adds.

While both Posobiec and Glenn are disturbed, Posobiec believes Trump’s arrest is going to throw a wrench in Democrats' plans.

“The fact of the matter remains that there are tens of millions of Americans that support Trump and there’s also tens of millions of Americans that support a fair process, that do not want to see a process where you’ve got prosecutors bringing these ridiculous indictments, novel legal theories, going after opponents,” he tells Glenn.

“No, this is not what we do in the United States. We handle this at the ballot box,” he adds.

However, Democrats have changed the way we handle elections.

“Democrats understand they can’t win on strategy, they can’t win on their political messaging — they fail every time. How did they win? They won on tactics. They changed fundamentally the way that elections are held in this country,” Posobiec explains.

Glenn notes that he’s concerned what Trump’s mug shot circulating on the internet might mean for Americans.

Posobiec sees it as a positive.

“I think this is going to be the mug shot that’s heard around the world,” he tells Glenn, adding, “I think this is going to be the number-one best-selling mug shot in American history.”

“In all seriousness,” he continues, “we know Americans. We love an underdog story. Americans are the story of rebels, the story of people who left behind the old world and were willing to break rules to make something new.”

Posobiec believes Trump’s mug shot is “absolutely going to backfire” and will “be seen not only just by Trump supporters but by independents.”

“This is an absolutely historic day. A president of the United States, fingerprinted, mug-shotted, for the entire world to see. I think the backlash will be swift and it will be deafening.”

Gray: Trump could face 136 years in prison

Donald Trump has pleaded not guilty to charges that could land him 136 years in prison. The former president would be 212 years old when he got out, if he was found guilty on all accounts.

However, Pat Gray and his co-hosts don’t see that happening.

“His biggest crime is that he’s Donald Trump,” Jeffy says.

Which is exactly what American attorney Jonathan Turley said.

“The Bragg prosecution is the denial of the core legal principle of blind justice. This expensive, drawn-out effort would not have occurred for anyone other than Donald Trump. It is not just selective prosecution, it is exclusive prosecution for Trump and Trump alone.”

Gray agrees, saying, “There is no actual crime. You can pay people to be quiet. You can, it’s legal.”

Despite the cheers from the left over Trump’s arraignment, the media attention the 34 cases brought against Trump is bringing could actually help him in the coming election.

The Babylon Bee wrote in jest, “Donald Trump’s campaign is breaking records thanks to a lavish fundraiser hosted by Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg and the Democrat party.”

“I love it,” Jeffy responds.

It continues, “Sources say that as Trump arrived at a New York courthouse for the fundraiser this morning, his campaign raised millions from energized citizens eager to support the only presidential candidate indicted by a Soros-funded DA.”

Deranged leftists descend on Manhattan

There has been no shortage of crazy people on the streets of New York after Trump’s arraignment. Sara Gonzales, Chad Prather, and Blake Kresses discussed the insanity on "The News & Why It Matters."

“It’s kangaroo court — banana republic. If we go down this route, we’re doomed … This is about to be really really bad,” Prather said.

“The left’s view is, ‘Well, the Founders aren’t here. This is our country now.’ And it truly is. We’ve [ceded] every institution to the radical left,” Kresses said.

Although a recent poll showed that 70% of independent voters believe that Trump’s indictment was a politically motivated hit job, the hosts weren’t optimistic about the odds of that amounting to any change.

Gonzales chimed in, “We just went through a midterm where we have exposed so much radical ideology. They’re trying to teach all white kids in public schools that they’re racist. They’re trying to groom your children. ... They’re doing all of these things, and you would think, ‘OK, that would be the line. That’s our line in the sand. We can't allow that to happen; we've got to do something else,’ and [independents] still didn’t do it.”

The lunacy of the radicals isn’t stopped by the silent majority, however.

On the divided streets of Manhattan, protesters gathered to support their causes. One particular woman wore whiteface and little else while screaming in the face of reporter Savanah Hernandez.

“F*** white people,” the woman screamed.

The chaos ensuing in New York City shows where the state of our nation will head if the madness is not ended soon.

Glenn Beck & Tucker Carlson REACT to Trump's INDICTMENT

Donald Trump has been indicted, and Glenn Beck appeared with Tucker Carlson to discuss the implications.

Carlson begins by giving Beck some high praise, saying, “Glenn Beck will have his own chapter as possibly the greatest synthesizer of big ideas ever to appear on camera — and a lot of people made fun of Glenn Beck over the years for that, but if you go back and watch the tape, you will find out that maybe more than any other person in television, Glenn Beck got it right. Again, and again, and again.”

And Glenn is ready to make some more predictions.

He says that Donald Trump has been indicted because “they want you to strike out. Why? Because then they can close the cage.”

He continues, “I’m going to make another prediction for you, Tucker.”

“By 2025, we are going to be at war. We are going to have a new dollar, a currency that probably is coming from the central bank. We’ll have a currency collapse and we will live in a virtual police state.”

Glenn asks the viewers, “Please turn to God. Repent. Pray for our country. Pray for peace. Put on the full armor of God.”

He turns his attention back to Donald Trump and his indictment.

“Donald Trump is not even a person any more. He is a symbol of the average everyday guy that keeps getting screwed, every single time.”

Can Trump still win the election in 2024?

“I don’t know if Donald Trump is the winner or not,” Glenn says, “but I will tell you this: You’re not going to stop a hundred million people. This country is in shambles, and there’s going to be a hundred million people that will walk on broken glass and through fire to vote for someone other than this corrupt banana republic administration.”

Keith Olbermann loses it in latest anti-Trump rant: 'Trump must be removed and arrested, tonight!'

In an angry rant, former MSNBC and ESPN host Keith Olbermann embarked on yet another unhinged rant against President Donald Trump over the 2020 presidential election.

What are the details?

Olbermann shared video of the rant on Twitter Thursday night, writing, "TRUMP MUST BE REMOVED AND ARRESTED, TONIGHT. Gripped by a paranoid delusion, threatening the nation's safety, this can't wait any longer. It won't happen; in fact, he'll probably concede and instantly announce he's running in '24."

In the video, Olbermann called the president's voters — all 69 million of them and counting — "morons."

"The bad news is, I think the lame-duck president is now pivoting to Trump 2024," he warned, pointing to a recent New York Times report indicating that Trump is reportedly considering a third run at the White House if former vice president and Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden wins the 2020 presidential election.

"When it's finally over, he utters this breathless sentence: 'I concede and I'm running for president in 2024. The rallies start next Friday,'" Olbermann added.

"Trump can still live in a version of the bubble that he and the 69 million morons who voted for him have lived in since 2015," he added. "Inside 'Trump World,' it's fun and exciting and there's no pandemic and nothing but white people and lots of guns and everybody will be a billionaire soon!"

Elsewhere during the evening, Vice President Mike Pence tweeted, "I Stand With President @realDonaldTrump," to which Olbermann fired back, "Then you need to be arrested and removed tonight as well."
