Biden’s Iran Appeasement Has Always Been About Personal Legacy, Not National Security
For Biden, the rabid obsession with securing a new nuclear agreement isn't based on global security so much as it is his personal legacy.
During his speech at the U.N. General Assembly Thursday afternoon, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu publicly released previously unknown information about a new secret nuclear site in Iran.
Netanyahu went so far as to unveil the geographic coordinates for the site, so that independent investigators could see Iran’s new “secret atomic warehouse” for themselves.
“In May, we exposed the site of Iran’s secret atomic archive. Today, I’m revealing the site of a second facility – Iran’s secret atomic warehouse,” Netanyahu told the audience.
The speech focused heavily on the ayatollah’s regime in Tehran, its hell-bent efforts to sow global chaos through funding terrorism, and how Iran continues to directly threaten Israel and the United States.
He then pivoted to what the Iran-backed Hezbollah terrorist organization is doing in Lebanon and how the jihadi group has turned the country into an Iranian missile base.
Castigating the Obama administration-brokered nuclear deal with the terrorist regime in Tehran, the Israeli prime minister did admit one positive outcome from the accord. Netanyahu explained that "by empowering Iran, it brought Israel and many Arab states closer together than ever before."
He further condemned European powers for their appeasement of Iran and their insistence upon remaining in the deal, adding: “Have these European leaders learned nothing from history? Will they ever wake up?”
