Iran launches drone and missile attacks on Israel: Military officials

Iran has launched a drone and missile attacks on Israel, according to multiple military sources.

The Israel Defense Forces said Iran launched aerial drones at Israel on Saturday.

IDF spokesperson Daniel Hagari said that the drones may take several hours to reach their intended targets.

"We are following the threat in the airspace. It’s a threat that will take a number of hours to arrive in Israel," Hagari said in a statement.

He stressed that the country has a plan in place to intercept the drones.

"The defense and offense systems of the Israeli Air Force are on alert, and dozens of planes are in the skies — prepared and ready. We are conducting a situational assessment with our strategic partners, primarily the U.S., and maintaining tight coordination with them," Hagari said.

Hagari called on Israelis to be “vigilant."

The IDF said its forces were on high alert and "monitoring all targets."

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the country has prepared for a “direct attack by Iran.”

"Our defensive systems are deployed; we are ready for any scenario, both defensively and offensively. The state of Israel is strong. The IDF is strong. The public is strong," Netanyahu stated.

The Israeli leader stated, "We have determined a clear principle: Whoever harms us, we will harm them. We will defend ourselves against any threat and will do so level-headedly and with determination."

Netanyahu mentioned that he would appreciate the support of the U.S., Britain, France, and "many other countries."

Netanyahu met with his war cabinet, according to a statement from his office.

Iran state media also confirmed that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had "launched extensive drone strikes against targets in occupied territories," referring to Israel.

Iran's Revolutionary Guard declared on state-run TV that it had launched "dozens of drones and missiles towards the occupied territories and positions of the Zionist regime."

A senior U.S. administration official also told CNN that several dozen drones were launched from Iran.

The supposed strike included dozens of drones and may also have missiles, according to a U.S. official and an Israeli official.

A senior U.S. official told ABC News that the U.S. anticipates that there will be 500 drones and missiles fired at Israel from Iraq, Syria, southern Lebanon, and Yemen.

National Security Council spokesperson Adrienne Watson said in a statement, "This attack is likely to unfold over a number of hours. President Biden has been clear: our support for Israel’s security is ironclad. The United States will stand with the people of Israel and support their defense against these threats from Iran."

President Joe Biden cut short his weekend trip to his beach house in Delaware to return to the White House to consult with his National Security Council.

Public shelters have been opened in the northern Israeli city of Haifa.

Israeli aviation authorities closed the country’s airspace to all flights as of 12:30 a.m. local time (5:30 p.m. EDT).

The anticipated attack comes after Israel killed seven military officers, including a top commander, at Iran’s embassy in Syria last week. Iran vowed to retaliate for the attack on its Damascus

Biden all but DEMANDS a yellow star on Jewish-made products from the West Bank

President Joe Biden is doing whatever he can to secure the Muslim vote in the 2024 election, stopping just short of demanding a yellow star on Jewish-made products from the West Bank.

His administration is now weighing whether to change the way products made by Jews in Judea and Samaria, which make up the West Bank, are labeled.

The rule would force these products to state that they were made in the West Bank instead of in Israel, allegedly as a way to make boycotting them easier. It would also reverse a policy enacted by former President Donald Trump that required goods made in Judea and Samira to be labeled as made in Israel.

“What do you think if we just put like a little yellow star on all those products?” Glenn Beck mocks, adding, “if you buy those products, maybe you get striped pajamas with a little yellow star on it.”

“This hopefully will help win over that gentleman that was speaking so nicely in front of the ‘Death of America’ crowd. Maybe he can win that swing vote,” Stu Burguiere adds, referencing the protest in Dearborn, Michigan, during which Muslim were chanting ‘death to America.’

Glenn believes this move by the Biden administration would put the United States of America “on the side of evil now.”

“You have the government coming out and condemning Israel and trying to get the vote of those people who are on the streets condemning America. We are on the side of evil,” he laments.

Israeli commandos raid West Bank hospital while disguised as doctors, Muslim women and kill 3 Palestinian militants: Report

Israeli commandos raided a West Bank hospital Tuesday while disguised as doctors and Muslim women and killed three Palestinian militants, Reuters reported, citing witnesses and authorities.

What are the details?

The Israeli military said the raid on Ibn Sina hospital in Jenin was a joint undercover operation that its army, Shin Bet security service, and border police carried out, the outlet noted.

The military said one of those killed was Hamas member Mohammad Walid Jalamna, who was planning an Oct. 7-style attack, and that the two others killed were brothers Basel Al-Ghazzawi and Mohammad Al-Ghazzawi who were part of the Jenin Brigade and the armed wing of the Iranian-backed Islamic Jihad, Reuters reported.

The outlet added that the Islamic Jihad said the Al-Ghazzawi brothers were members of its armed wing, and Hamas confirmed that Jalamna belonged to its Al Qassam Brigade.

Hospital surveillance video showed about 10 people dressed in medical scrubs and in headscarves and women's clothing going through a corridor armed with rifles, Reuters said.

The hospital's director, Dr. Naji Nazzal, told the outlet that the commandos entered the hospital around 5:30 a.m. and killed the three men with head shots while they were sleeping. He added to the outlet that Basil Ayman Al-Ghazzawi had been paralyzed due to a spinal injury since Oct. 25 and was receiving treatment at the hospital.

The Israeli military told Reuters that the trio had been hiding in the hospital and said it was "another example of the cynical use of civilian areas and hospitals as shelters and human shields by terrorist organizations."

Israel's military chief Herzi Halevi told troops near Gaza that "we are even more determined not to allow hospitals in Gaza, Judea and Samaria, Lebanon, above ground or in tunnel shafts and tunnels under hospitals, to become a place that is a cover for terrorism," the outlet said, adding that Hamas has denied the allegations.

Reuters added that thousands of mourners filled the streets as the three Palestinian militants were buried.

Palestinian terrorists murder old woman and run over several school children in central Israel

An elderly woman is dead, and at least 17 people, including several school children, are wounded after a pair of Palestinian terrorists went on a rampage Monday in central Israel.

Two Palestinians illegally in Ra'anana, an Israeli city north of Tel Aviv, launched the attack around 1:30 p.m. just as schools were letting out. The terrorists violently hijacked three vehicles over the course of their rampage, in one instance slicing up a female driver.

With the stolen vehicles, the Palestinians launched multiple attacks across Ra'anana, running over several children and killing 79-year-old Edna Bluestein, reported the Jerusalem Post.

A witness told Haaretz that she saw "someone stab people near the mall. [The attacker] stole a car and ran over other people."

"Another person was with me, noticed the situation and shouted 'an attack, an attack'. After that, I saw the terrorist. I saw him stabbing a man around 60 years old. The man fell and the terrorist ran away," said witness Eden Alfi.

After repeatedly swapping hijacked vehicles, Mahmoud Zidat, 44, and Ahmed Zidat, 24, of Bani Na'im ultimately crashed and were arrested by police. Mahmoud Zidat reportedly worked illegally at a car wash in the city and has been living in Ra'anana with Ahmed, his cousin.

Following the terrorists' capture, Israeli police indicated central district police officers were sweeping "the attack scenes and its surroundings to ensure no further threats."

Central District Police Chief Avi Biton said, "This was a very grave terror attack," reported the Daily Mail.

"They went out together and in parallel, to two different locations, took two cars and launched a series of rammings," added Biton.

One of the attackers allegedly told the Shin Bet that "when the war in Gaza started," they "decided to carry out an attack and become martyrs... Initially, we intended to stab Jews, but then we decided to run over as many Jews as possible," reported the Times of Israel.

The Magen David Adom emergency services initially indicated that two males, ages 34 and 16, were in "serious condition with head and limb injuries"; another eight victims were in moderate condition; and three were in mild condition. However, Haaretz later revealed that three individuals, including a 16-year-old boy, were in serious condition and that 14 victims, including six children, were left in light to moderate condition.

The victims were taken to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba, the Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva, and the Sourasky Medical Center in Tel Aviv. Fourteen of the victims remained hospitalized as of Monday evening.

The Post reported that Hamas has claimed responsibility for the attacks.

Hamas called the terror attacks "a natural response to the massacres of the Nazi occupation and its continued aggression against our Palestinian people."

The terror group also implored "revolutionary youth throughout the West Bank and Jerusalem" to "escalate the struggle and revolution" until Palestine is established where Israel once stood.

Footage taken by a passerby shows one of the badly damaged vehicles, ostensibly used by the terrorists, on the sidewalk near a motionless body.

U.S. Ambassador to Israel Jack Lew said in a statement, "I condemn the brutal terrorist attacks today in Ra'anana that led to at least one dead and scores wounded, including children. I offer my deepest condolences to the family mourning the loss of their loved one and wishing a quick recovery to those wounded."
