‘They’re in a bubble’: How Jaguar TANKED an already-failing brand

Not only did British auto manufacturer Jaguar release a bizarre ad campaign featuring androgynous models — but the ads featured no cars.

“I have no idea what Jaguar is trying to sell us in that ad and who thought this was a good idea,” Jill Savage of “Blaze News Tonight” tells Matthew Peterson and WILL agency founder Isaac Simpson.

Simpson notes that in order to understand the ad, we also have to understand that Jaguar is a “failing brand” and that the brand has “been really struggling for a very long time.”

“So they’ve decided to switch everything over to EV, and they’re going to be 100% electric vehicles, and then not only that, they’re going to charge twice what they’re already charging for their cars,” Simpson explains.

This is where an ad like the one just released comes in as well as its rejection of its iconic logo that features a jaguar to one that just says “Jaguar” in futuristic handwriting.

“Clearly, they asked their marketing team to create a radical new approach to their branding,” Simpson says.

“I don’t think this was an ‘any publicity is good publicity situation,’” he continues. “I think that they’re in a bubble, and I think that the people that create the ads for this particular brand are just living in a bubble as we’ve seen so many times, time and time again with Bud Light and so many other brands.”

According to Simpson, the brand director, who was in charge of this campaign, is “the kind of guy who goes on stage, and he’s wearing a sheer, see-through shirt.”

“You could imagine the type of guy this is,” he says, adding, “They’ve just chased away all the people who would say, ‘Don’t do this.’”

How to make American education great again

Imagine these words as the first speech delivered by Donald Trump’s incoming secretary of education.

Today, I am here to deliver bitter medicine: American education has failed. Teachers and parents, administrators and government — and even students — all bear some responsibility.

Just as Sputnik spurred the urgency that sent Americans to the moon, we need a bold initiative to revolutionize education.

The most common explanations for our educational crisis are inadequate funding, overuse of standardized testing, and systemic prejudice. They are false.

Our schools do not lack funding. No country spends more on public education.

The poor results of standardized tests indicate our failures; they are not the cause.

Our schools are not prejudiced. The most aggressive education reforms since 1955 directly aimed to eliminate systemic discrimination.

The diagnosis

For decades, we ignored signs of trouble, but the COVID-19 pandemic revealed the depth of our challenges. The problems are so pervasive and complex that there is no quick fix. We cannot merely repair; we must rebuild.

Since 2020, American families have struggled mightily. The declining quality of education prompted affluent families to opt out of public schools, leaving middle- and working-class families with diminished resources and influence to push for reform. States' refusal to enact school choice reforms widened the wealth gap and limited generational mobility.

But lower- and middle-class families bear some responsibility, too. The rise of single-parent households, less common among affluent families, has been catastrophic. When the only adult in the home works up to 60 hours a week to make ends meet, there is little time for homework help, PTA meetings, or engaging with school officials. Even in households with two working parents, time and energy are often in short supply.

Teachers, for their part, have good reason to despair. Despite the monumental importance of their work, many are underpaid. They face administrators who value standardized test scores above all else.

Meanwhile, declining standards for decorum and discipline, often justified in the name of “social justice,” have made schools unsafe for both teachers and students.

Violence and insubordination create an environment unfit for serious learning. Some parents treat schools as day-care centers or demand good grades for minimal effort. Worse, parents of disruptive students often refuse to ensure that their children do not rob others of the opportunity to learn.

Yet teachers, too, have failed. They inflate grades to keep their jobs but do no favors for students unprepared for future challenges. This, in turn, lowers the quality of education for students ready for more advanced work, driving gifted students out of public schools.

Another harsh truth is that many teachers are unprepared for the job. The education system has failed for so long that many teachers have never mastered the material they are supposed to teach. Colleges steer future educators toward education majors, where coursework focuses more on leftist “social justice” ideology than on subject mastery. Some graduates believe their mission is to “dismantle” an “unjust” society by creating anti-American activists.

When these activist teachers enter classrooms, they often abandon their duty to transmit America’s culture, knowledge, and values. Instead, they teach students to disdain their nation, its people, its past, and its way of life. This undermines social cohesion and deprives disadvantaged students of the tools they need to succeed.

Outdated curricula exacerbate these issues. Most schools still use models from the late 20th century, failing to address how computing, the internet, and artificial intelligence have transformed how we read, write, and learn. Even in innovative schools, teachers often struggle to balance the needs of non-native, non-English speakers with those of native English speakers, diluting the educational experience for the latter.

Our colleges and universities are also broken. Admitting underprepared students has lowered academic standards nationwide. General education curricula often assume a need for remediation, leaving motivated students without the challenge or preparation they deserve.

Government-run financial aid has inflated tuition costs while diminishing the value of college degrees. Proposals to cancel student debt signal to universities that they can continue raising prices without consequence, encouraging predatory admission policies that saddle students with unmanageable debt.

The prescription

How do we revitalize American education? Nothing short of an academic Sputnik will suffice. Just as Sputnik spurred the urgency that sent Americans to the moon, we need a bold initiative to revolutionize education.

  • We will create K-12 curricula prioritizing history, civics, and an understanding of our government.
  • We will eliminate curricula that divide Americans by race, class, religion, sex, or sexual identity.
  • We will implement school choice nationwide.
  • We will end federal student loan programs, allowing private lenders to evaluate borrowers' ability to repay. Conditional lending will force colleges to lower tuition and revise admissions and program offerings.
  • We will expand vocational training and enhance opportunities for gifted students.
  • We will raise teacher credentialing standards to ensure advanced subject knowledge.
  • We will enforce decorum and discipline in schools. Uniforms will unify student bodies, and measures like suspension and expulsion will ensure that classrooms are conducive to learning.
  • We will revise college accreditation standards to reflect post-graduation success and employment metrics.
  • We will penalize public colleges and universities that engage in discriminatory admissions practices.

And that is just the beginning.

The destiny of our nation depends on education. The effort to revitalize our schools must be as bold as our aspirations. Together, we will bring American education into the 21st century. Together, we will make American education great again.

Based Latinos: How Trump’s anti-woke, anti-illegal immigration policies WON their vote

Kamala Harris’ campaign never gave up on the messaging that Donald Trump was an evil racist only rivaled by the likes of Adolf Hitler — but unfortunately for them, very few Americans actually believed it.

“To me it’s more simple than we have heard in the mainstream media,” executive producer for Voz Karina Yapor tells Jill Savage and Matthew Peterson of “Blaze News Tonight.” “They are saying crazy stuff out there. I was listening to ‘The View’ hosts saying that Latino voters didn’t vote for Kamala Harris because we are racist and Latino males are misogynist.”

“It’s very racist for her to say that about us. It’s more simple than that. We care about economy first. I think that’s one of the reasons and the main reasons Latinos voted for Donald Trump,” she continues.

Not only do Latinos value the health of the economy like any other hard-working Americans, they also value the mental health of their children.

“They are realizing the woke agenda, they are realizing that they don’t want their children to be indoctrinated at school, they don’t want their children to be transitioned at school, and they are waking up and they are making their voices heard through their vote for sure,” Yapor explains.

Immigration was also a major issue on the ballot for Latinos, and Democrats mistakenly believed that would be the issue to sway them.

“The border counties in Texas, 50% of Hispanics voted for Donald Trump. So, what does that tell you? That tells you that Hispanics are being impacted as well by illegal immigration. The fact that we are Hispanics doesn’t mean that we support illegal immigration,” she continues.

“I am an immigrant myself. I support immigration. I think it’s a good thing when you have control of it,” she says, adding, “So, most Hispanics are in favor of immigration, but legal immigration.”

'No balls necessary': Women's soccer team apologizes to transgender community for 'too many balls' ad campaign

A new franchise in the National Women's Soccer League has issued an apology for airing a commercial asserting there are "too many balls" in Boston sports.

The BOS Nation Football Club posted a one-minute video on X Tuesday that features cameos from Tom Brady and a member of the Boston Bruins. The video focuses on Boston's championship culture and highlights the "trophies, banners, rings, and balls" in the city.

'At a time when trans women are being excluded from sport at every level, is "too many balls" really the tagline you want to go with here?'

"Old balls, new balls, steel balls, cold balls, even goat balls," the narrator says.

The video then shifts focus on how Boston could use a new women's team.

"Boston loves its balls, but maybe there are too many balls in this town," the voiceover continues, before introducing the club.

"We are BOS Nation, where anything is possible. No balls necessary," it concludes.

The entire campaign was in jest, and some might say completely harmless given the context, but that didn't stop the team from crumbling under criticism from activists.

Notably, a WNBA writer said the ad felt like it excluded transgender people.

"The thing that bothers me the most about this campaign is how TERFy it comes across," Frankie de la Cretaz wrote. "At a time when trans women are being excluded from sport at every level, is 'too many balls' really the tagline you want to go with here?"

The acronym "TERF" stands for "trans-exclusionary radical feminists," meaning feminists who don't believe males can become females.

De la Cretaz also wrote about feeling "unsafe" at a WNBA game because a fan was wearing a Make America Great Again hat.

Amid the hubbub, the BOS Nation Football Club deleted its campaign video then issued a groveling apology to anyone offended.

"While we had hoped to create a bold and buzzworthy brand launch campaign, we missed the mark," the team said in a statement. "We fully acknowledge that the content of the campaign did not reflect the safe and welcoming environment we strive to create for all, and we apologize to the LGBTQ+ community and to the trans community in particular for the hurt we caused."

The team's statement also declared that "we are proud to be part of the most inclusive sports league in the world and are committed to upholding the unifying values that define the NWSL and our club."

The team then thanked those who held them accountable and called for them to "do better."

"We hear you and we will, together," the statement concluded.

— (@)

As has become typical with members of woke activist mobs, the apology was not received well, and they immediately started demanding that the team change its name:

  • "Just change the name and fire the people who were involved in approving this advertising, and it will help," the top response read.
  • "Now apologize for the name and actually choose a name," another reply demanded.
  • "At its face, defining women on the existence of men is just a really weak marketing play in 2024," another user declared.

The NWSL has been celebrating activism for years, including "Pride Month" and Juneteenth.

The league also has instituted "ongoing efforts" to expand diversity, equity, and inclusion programs that focus on "promoting equality and social justice within the sports community and society at large."

Mel K takes on wokeism’s toxic grip on our nation

America, it’s time for an intervention.

I don’t know if you’ve looked around lately, but all our institutions are being captured by woke race hustlers. Or they already have been.

This is one book you won’t be able to put down once you pick it up.

All of them.

The NFL went woke years ago and still plays the fake “black national anthem” before the start of each season. The NBA is a woke shill for communist China. Disney is so woke, it’s happy to lose money insulting fans of its biggest franchise, “Star Wars.” Coke? Woke.

It’s gotten so bad that even Jack Daniels had to be called out for pushing DEI — diversity, equity, and inclusion — policies on its unsuspecting employees. John Deere — known for its tractors and heavy equipment — also recently withdrew its DEI mandates after facing backlash.

Wokeness has infiltrated practically every American institution, from education and corporations to media, entertainment, and even churches. This ideology now undermines the freedoms that made America great. It must be stopped.

It’s time for an intervention. And the great Mel K is here to lead it.

You may know Mel K from her wildly entertaining and successful podcast, “The Mel K Show.” She’s a juggernaut, insightful, fearless, creative, and all about freedom. Mel has spent decades crafting stories based on facts with a heart for freedom.

In her new book, “Americans Anonymous: Restoring Power to the People One Citizen at a Time,” Mel sets out with a simple but powerful mission: Restore freedom to save America. That’s it, and it’s everything.

This searing book is a needed salvo in the war against cultural Marxists and their designs on destroying America. From the race hustlers rewriting history casting America as the villain, to the corporations and universities imposing their twisted visions on unsuspecting staff and students, this toxic, soul-destroying addiction is everywhere.

Yes, it’s an addiction. Vast swaths of America have become addicted to this poison. That’s why Mel K’s “Americans Anonymous” is so needed, and it’s why she wrote it as a means of awakening and empowering Americans to step up, recognize the problem, and one by one reclaim our freedoms and restore our hope.

She even begins the book with the kind of statement you might hear at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting: “Hi. My name is Mel K, and I’m an American. I am grateful to be afforded the opportunity to share my thoughts and ideas with you today thanks to God’s gifts of free will, critical thinking, and grace.”

It’s a brilliant approach to a deeply serious problem, one that Mel K writes will only be conquered by faith.

From there, Mel K diagnoses the problem and, unlike many books on the subject, offers real solutions. This is one book you won’t be able to put down once you pick it up.

“Americans Anonymous” is smart, engaging, and real. Mel K examines America’s chief addiction — to chaos and conflict — through a lens of love for the constitutional republic we were designed to be and that we can and should be again.

As anyone who has dealt with addiction knows, addicts must reach rock bottom before they realize they have a problem at all. America, Mel K argues, is perilously close to rock bottom. We’re addicted to conflict manufactured by politics and the media. We’re addicted to distractions manufactured by Hollywood and technology. We’re addicted to debt, now paying more in interest payments than to defend our country or provide for our basic national needs.

Ultimately, “Americans Anonymous” is a hopeful book. Millions of Americans already recognize the problem before we’ve hit rock bottom. Mel K is one of them, and she’s leading the way to saving America so we and our children and grandchildren have a better — and addiction-free — tomorrow.

America is all of us, and it’s going to take all of us to save her. Mel K’s “Americans Anonymous” is a fantastic, and at times infuriating and terrifying, start on America’s road to recovery.

Washington Commanders' SCANDAL exposed by undercover journalist; DEI is 'performative'

James O’Keefe has struck gold again, this time focusing his lens on the Washington Commanders.

The NFL team had famously changed their name from the Washington Redskins in an attempt to be politically correct, and after an undercover date set up with their VP of social media — it appears the woke rot is completely forced.

“Over 50% of our roster, right, is either white, religious, and God says, 'F*** the gays,' in their interpretation,” the VP told his undercover date. “Another big chunk is very low income African-American that comes from a community that is inherently very homophobic.”

“That doesn’t mean they want to go on record with a video saying, ‘Come out to Pride parades,’” he added, as the investigative reporter asked, “Why not?”

“There’s some that are dumb as all hell, and there are others that are very smart. I think there’s also a sad but true reality that like some start smart and they get hit in the head so much, they don’t stay smart,” he said, adding that the more they get hit in the head, the more susceptible they are to “stupid conspiracy theories.”

The VP then called the fan base “high school-educated alcoholics,” “mouth breathers,” and “lower-class people.”

He went on to call the NFL’s social justice activism “performative.”

“It’s not done out of the goodness of their heart, morality; it’s done because George Floyd changed the game,” he said, adding, “The social justice efforts are a performance for the sake of public perception, and not because they want to actually push progress.”

“The NFL cares about the bottom line like any corporation above all else, and they don’t need to really pinch pennies because they make so much revenue,” he continued. “Therefore, they can faux prioritize DEI for the sake of good publicity.”

While Jason Whitlock of “Fearless” doesn’t have sympathy for the NFL, he does have some for this man.

“The guy thinks he’s out on some date, and he’s actually being set up and he’s saying what he really thinks,” Whitlock says. “I have some sympathy for him.”

AOC condemns calling cops over 'nonviolent demonstrations of young students.' Observers hit back with the facts.

Far-left U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) not surprisingly appears to be fully backing the Hamas-loving, Israel-hating demonstrations that have been springing up with greater frequency on college campuses in the last couple of weeks.

In an X post Tuesday night, Ocasio-Cortez condemned calling police on what she deemed "nonviolent demonstrations of young students."

— (@)

"Calling in police enforcement on nonviolent demonstrations of young students on campus is an escalatory, reckless, and dangerous act," she wrote. "It represents a heinous failure of leadership that puts people’s lives at risk. I condemn it in the strongest possible terms."

Surely, AOC realizes not all the protesters are "nonviolent," right? To wit:

  • Students took over a building at California State Polytechnic University in Humboldt, forcing the school to close temporarily as a safety precaution. Andy Ngo reported that the occupiers turned to "beat[ing] and assault[ing]" cops who were trying to remove them.
  • A male pro-Palestinian protester stabbed a female Jewish student in the eye amid Yale University demonstrations over the weekend.
  • Rabbi Elie Buechler of the Columbia University/Barnard College Hillel on Sunday told Jewish students that police "cannot guarantee [their] safety in the face of extreme antisemitism and anarchy." Buechler also advised Jewish students to "return home as soon as possible and remain home until the reality in and around campus has dramatically improved. It is not our job as Jews to ensure our own safety on campus.” The school soon switched to remote-option learning for safety reasons for the rest of the semester.
  • Some Columbia protesters reportedly were cited for resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer. Not that it matters — as AOC would be glad to know — since none of the 228 Columbia and NYU demonstrators reportedly received charges that will go on their records.

Many of those responding to Ocasio-Cortez saw right through her rhetoric, too. Some prominent examples:

  • Conservative commentator Jason Rantz told AOC, "Something tells me if people illegally camped on your property — while supporting terrorists (whomever you think are terrorists since you don’t feel that way about Hamas) — you’d call the cops. Sorry that your fellow Jew-haters don’t get to break the law."
  • International human rights lawyer Arsen Ostrovsky added to the congresswoman, "They are explicitly inciting violence, engaging in racial hatred and impeding students and faculty for learning and teaching. The only ‘heinous failure in leadership’ is your justification of this behavior."
  • Journalist Kyle Becker noted to AOC that "radical Marxists don't have a right to disrupt entire communities to throw their temper tantrums."

UFC champ Sean Strickland mercilessly eviscerates reporter in anti-woke, profanity-laden rant: 'You’re a weak f***ing man'

UFC champion Sean Strickland absolutely eviscerated a reporter amid an anti-woke, profanity-laden rant during a Wednesday press conference ahead of his fight against Dricus du Plessis this weekend in Toronto.

What are the details?

Before the reporter could ask his first question, Strickland took control and asked the reporter if he's Canadian, and the reporter said he is. With that, Strickland asked the reporter if he's "part of the f***ing opposition" — presumably in reference to conservatives in Canada led by Pierre Poilievre.

The reporter said he wasn't sure how to phrase an answer. Strickland asked the reporter if he voted for left-wing Prime Minister Justin Trudeau — and the reporter replied that he wasn't going to answer the question. With that, Stickland told the gathered crowd that such an reply signaled that the reporter probably voted for Trudeau.

The reporter then attempted to ask his first question, telling Strickland that "we've got a pretty supportive gay and lesbian community in this city" and then referred to an alleged statement Strickland made, which OutKick said showed up on X in December 2021: “If I had a gay son I would think I failed as a man to create such weakness."

Strickland wasn't having it, repeatedly interrupting the reporter's question before asking the reporter if he's gay. The reporter told Strickland that he's an "ally" of the LGBTQ community. Strickland shot back, asking the reporter how he would feel if he had a gay son, to which the reporter said he'd have "no problem" with that.

'You’re a weak f***ing man, dude'

"Well, then you’re a weak f***ing man, dude," Strickland said. "You’re part of the f***ing problem. You elected Justin Trudeau. ... When he seized the bank accounts, like you’re just f***ing pathetic."

Strickland presumably was referencing the Canadian trucker protests of 2022 against vaccine mandates, which culminated in Trudeau's government establishing emergency powers and freezing a number of bank accounts.

Strickland was far from done, however: "The fact that you have no f***ing backbone, and as he shut down your f***ing country and seized bank accounts, you ask me some stupid s**t like that. Go f*** yourself. Move the f*** on, man. F***ing coward."

The reporter pivoted to Strickland's statement last October after the UFC announced a partnership with Bud Light despite the beer brand's disastrous partnership with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney. "You know how I feel about transgenders," Strickland said at the time. "I go f***ing hard, that's just what I do. I am the biggest advocate of biological females."

The reporter asked Strickland if he will use his platform surrounding his upcoming fight to speak out against Bud Light.

"Here’s the thing about Bud Light," Strickland. "Ten years ago to be trans was a mental f***ing illness. And now all of a sudden people like you have f***ing weaseled your way [into] the world. You are an infection. You are the definition of weakness. Everything that is wrong with the world is because of f***ing you. And the best thing is, is the world's not buying it, the world's not buying your f***ing bulls**t you’re f***ing peddling. The world is not saying, 'You know what? You’re right. F***ing chicks have d***s.’ The world's not saying that. The world's saying, 'No, there are two genders. I don’t want my kids being taught about who they could f*** in school. I don’t want my kids being taught about their sexual preference.'"

Strickland then blasted the reporter again: "This guy is a f***ing enemy. You wanna look at the f***ing enemy to our world? It's that motherf***er right there, asking stupid f***ing questions."

Finally, Strickland insisted he has no problem with the LGBTQ community, saying he's in favor of a live-and-let-live arrangement — but also adding caveats indicating he's seen the LGBTQ community demanding more than he's comfortable with of late.

"Don't f***ing tell kids about it, don't teach that s**t in f***ing school, don't f***ing push your agenda, don't try to f***ing brainwash people, don't try to go past parents ..." Strickland said.
