Levin tears apart Arabs’ phony claims to Israeli land

What claims do Arabs in Palestinian territories really have to Israeli land? Do they have any real basis to claim East Jerusalem as the Palestinians’ capital?

Broadcasting from Israel on Tuesday, Conservative Review Editor-in-Chief Mark Levin broke down the history and legitimacy of various Arab claims to the Jewish state’s sovereign land.

If one evaluates the history of the region in full, Levin explained, it quickly becomes apparent that Arabs have no claim to East Jerusalem, whether indigenous or legal.

“The world didn’t begin, however, in 1967 and after 1967,” Levin said of the persistent Arab demands for Israel to return to their pre-Six-Day War boundaries. “For the Jews, that area of the world began 5,000 years ago.”

Levin’s remarks were prompted by President Trump’s visit to Bethlehem earlier that day. The city itself, Levin said, has now become a dangerous place for Christian pilgrims due to Arab control.

“If you’re a practicing Christian and you want to go to Bethlehem and you want to pray and so forth,” he said, “you take your life in your own hands today” due to the ever-present threat of Islamist violence.
