Wednesday on the radio, LevinTV host Mark Levin addressed the question of children being separated from their parents during the United States immigration enforcement process.

“That’s been in place for decades,” Levin said. “What’s really going on here is the hard Left, which includes the media, are always looking for an angle.”

“The way they see it, if a parent comes here illegally, and they come here with their children, then they shouldn’t be separated. Okay, so if you’re incarcerating the parent, what happens to the children? You know what their answer is? Don’t incarcerate the parent. So there you have it: Open borders.”

“If you do not believe parents should come into this country illegally and drag their kids with them … then there’s something wrong with you; that means you oppose families. … No accountability placed on the illegal alien parent who comes into this country and creates this situation.”

Levin pointed out that most illegal aliens tend to vote Democrat if they become citizens.

“The Left isn’t compassionate, folks, the Left is strategic.”

Listen:

Levin called out the Republicans in the House and the Senate for not standing up to the Left’s strategy.

“Immediately the Republicans buckle. And by the way, not just the Republicans, so-called conservatives. They buy into this. So everything is defined by the logic, or the lack thereof, of the Left,” he said.

Editor’s note: In an earlier version of this article, the word “enforcement” was inadvertently omitted from the first sentence. It has been added.
