Levin: Trump was channeling Reagan with ‘nuclear button’ tweet

“Everyone with an IQ over four knew exactly what the president was saying.”

The Left’s hysterical response to President Trump’s now-infamous “nuclear button” tweet aimed at North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un is just that: Hysterical. So said LevinTV host Mark Levin on his national radio program Wednesday night.

At the beginning of the segment, Levin compared Trump’s tweet to a quip from President Ronald Reagan’s 1984 re-election campaign where the Gipper joked, “I'm pleased to tell you today that I've signed legislation that will outlaw Russia forever. We begin bombing in five minutes.”

Reagan, Levin said, was sending a message to the Soviets, just as Trump was sending one to North Korea.

“Everyone with an IQ over four knew exactly what the president was saying” with the tweet, Levin added. He explained that the president was sending a clear warning to the communist regime.

“It sent a signal to the inbred Kim Un Fat Boy that he needed to hear,” Levin concluded. “Don’t threaten us with your button, slob. We’ve got a button, too. And we don’t even have to test our missiles anymore; we just know they’re very, very precise. We can shoot one right up your ass.”
