Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., has a message for Republicans and Democrats about the 2,232-page, $1.3 trillion omnibus spending bill.

The senator hopes to read the legislation before the Senate votes on Friday. It took hours just to print the mammoth bill on Thursday morning.

As Paul reads the bill, he’s sharing his thoughts on Twitter.

With about 2,000 pages left to go, will he live-tweet the whole thing? Can he finish before the vote? Will Congress ever be fiscally responsible?

These are the questions that must keep Sen. Paul up at night.
