Chew on this: With all the hysterical Democratic opposition to President Trump “ending” the illegal DACA executive order, with all the accusations of racism, with all the fear-mongering of mass deportations, Hillary Clinton herself once said that illegal immigrant children can’t stay in this country. And not all that long ago, either.
No, seriously, in a 2014 interview with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour, Hillary Clinton explicitly said that there needs to be a “clear message” that illegal immigrant children should be deported.
Clinton’s statement came during a wave of unaccompanied illegal immigrant minors flooding across the U.S. border in 2014. She said that there could be no guarantees that those kids would get to stay in this country after violating our immigration laws.
“We have to send a clear message, just because your child gets across the border, that doesn’t mean the child gets to stay,” said Clinton. “So, we don’t want to send a message that is contrary to our laws or will encourage more children to make that dangerous journey.”
“So, you’re saying they should be sent back now?” Amanpour followed up.
“Well, they should be sent back as soon as it can be determined who responsible adults in their families are, because there are concerns whether all of them should be sent back,” said Clinton. “But I think all of them who can be should be reunited with their families.”
Now, as Mediaite points out, Clinton completely flipped her position in support of DACA for the 2016 election. But the crazy thing is Donald Trump is being hammered by the media and the Democrats for holding a position that is to the left of Hillary Clinton’s in 2014.
Trump isn’t deporting illegal immigrant children, like Clinton said we should. He announced Thursday that there would be “no action” taken against DACA recipients while Congress works to legalize DACA in the DREAM Act.
For all of those (DACA) that are concerned about your status during the 6 month period, you have nothing to worry about – No action!

The lesson is that Trump can support amnesty to illegal immigrants. He’ll still be called a racist. He can strike a deal with Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi. The Democrats will still demand his impeachment if they win power.
