Remember the Democratic House member who told Peter Strzok “you deserve” a Purple Heart for being asked tough questions by Republican members of Congress?
He has some thoughts on President Donald Trump’s Monday meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, and they are not rational thoughts.
Where are our military folks ? The Commander in Chief is in the hands of our enemy! https://t.co/3eF7OLKEdN

The Daily Wire’s Emily Zanotti spotted this tweet and pointed out that Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tenn., seems to be asking for a military coup against President Trump.
I think a sitting Congressman is calling for a military coup, but I'm not super sure. https://t.co/pi82V10bsc

A glance at Cohen’s timeline shows he definitely believes Trump is “literally” owned by the Russians and that the president is a “traitor.”

Our own JusticeDept.issued #indictments against #Russian hackers days before #HelsinkiSummit. Now #Trump sits next to #Putin, who oversaw #RussianHacking, shamefully attacking fellow Americans who stand for our #democracy.#LockHimUp #ImpeachTrump #TrumpRussiaCollusion #TreasonSummit

Trump, Treasonous Traitor https://t.co/bqApAC1vGN not just because of his fragile election ego but because they OWN him and his family.Period.

The Tennessee congressman also retweeted former Obama administration CIA Director John Brennan, who today said Trump’s performance during the press conference with Vladimir Putin “rises to & exceeds the threshold of ‘high crimes and misdemeanors,'” arguing that Trump should be impeached.
Donald Trump’s press conference performance in Helsinki rises to & exceeds the threshold of “high crimes & misdemeanors.” It was nothing short of treasonous. Not only were Trump’s comments imbecilic, he is wholly in the pocket of Putin. Republican Patriots: Where are you???
— John O. Brennan (@JohnBrennan) July 16, 2018
This is an example of the most extreme and deranged positions being adopted by the Left following Trump’s meeting with Putin. Accusations that Trump committed “treason” or that he’s adopted policies that side with Russian interests over American interests are unfounded and irrational.
Leaping to these extremes is a serious case of crying wolf. The Democrats are vastly overreacting to how Trump handled the meeting, and as a result, the American people are going to tune out legitimate and rational criticisms of the president.
UPDATE:
Prompted to clarify his tweet, Cohen said that he was, in fact, not calling for a military coup against Trump.
Of course https://t.co/vXhLoHGCSa
