Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's dogs are featured in a fundraising ploy to solicit donations to the "Fight like Hell PAC."

The bizarre plea for donations, which does not appear on the timeline of tweets on her @gretchenwhitmer X account, reads, "hello! Frends!! we are. KEVIN!!! and. Doug!!! Our HUMAN!!! is the GOVERNOR of Michigan!! our HUMAN works.. hard for job! none. of this would be paw-sible!! without your... support! will YOU throw us a bone!! (or TWO) before.. the big DEADLINE?" The post then adds, "–the goodest boys!! of michigan!!!"

'When they write the textbook on cringe, this will be in chapter one.'

A graphic features a photo of Whitmer with her dogs and includes comments such as "HUMAN! seems. worried about FIGHT!! like hell pac.. end of quarter... fundraising deadline. HUMAN! doesn't know. if team will reach. fundraising goal... we dont like... HUMAN to worry.. so PLEASE!! help HUMAN reach. goal by DONATING!! to FIGHT like hell pac TODAY!!"

"When they write the textbook on cringe, this will be in chapter one," Michele Blood quipped.

"If I was actually funny I'd say 'Michigan has gone to the dogs' But instead I'm just wondering who approved this ad campaign for the Governor. Holy Moly," Daniel Burke wrote.

Whitmer apparently has an X profile for her dogs. A "Star Wars" themed tweet on May 4th reads, "seeing this. post. you are.." The post adds, "giving us… TREATS!!!!! you will."

The governor responded to the tweet, writing, "The force is strong with this one. Treats you will get, my little Padawans."

Whitmer has been serving as Michigan's governor since 2019.

Magic Johnson never showed up at Whitmer rally as reported

For several days last week, rumors spread throughout the state of Michigan that beloved basketball legend Earvin "Magic" Johnson would appear at a rally for Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) on the eve of the midterm election.

On Friday morning, self-described "Michigan politics reporter" Jonathan Oosting tweeted, "Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer expected to hold final rally of re-election campaign Monday evening in East Lansing with a notable guest: Magic Johnson."

"Magic Johnson to appear at Whitmer rally in East Lansing," read a WLNS headline, updated Saturday afternoon.

The significance of the East Lansing location was likely not lost on most Michiganders. Johnson and his Spartan teammates at Michigan State University famously brought a national championship home to East Lansing in 1979, defeating Larry Bird and the Indiana State Sycamores 75-64. Many say it is still the most-watched NCAA championship game of all time.

Whitmer is likewise an MSU alumna.

Between Whitmer's tight race against Republican challenger Tudor Dixon and Johnson's magical star power, the event was expected to be a strong, Michigan-focused finale for Whitmer and her campaign.

Only it didn't happen — at least, as they say, not the way the coach had drawn it up. Johnson never actually appeared at the event and instead issued his endorsement of Whitmer on Twitter amid a series of tweets on several different topics, including the MSU football victory over Illinois two days before and the suspension of eight MSU football players after a melee with rival Michigan nearly a week and a half ago.

James David Dickson, the managing editor of Michigan Capitol Confidential, contextualized Johnson's endorsement tweet.

“Magic Johnson always was a great passer

He passed on the Whitmer campaign rally tonight in favor of lobbing 3 Michigan-related tweets

The governors race came after Sparty win and Sparty tunnel fight. Just...perfect”

When fellow Michigan reporter Andrew Roth inquired about Johnson's absence from the rally, despite public flyers advertising his appearance, Roth said a "campaign spokesperson pointed out @MagicJohnson's tweeted endorsement of Gov. @gretchenwhitmer from earlier today." That campaign spokesperson is believed to be Joe Costello.

On Monday afternoon, Johnson had, indeed, tweeted: "I hope that Governor Gretchen Whitmer gets another four years as Governor of Michigan!"

He made no mention of the rally.

On Tuesday afternoon, he also tweeted again to remind everyone to vote and endorsed Karen Bass for the Los Angeles mayoral race, but made no further reference to Whitmer.

Still, the Whitmer campaign has since bragged about the successful night and the successful rally, even without an in-person assist from Johnson.

"I love this campus," Whitmer told the crowd near MSU. "The best years of my life were on this campus. We wanted to close out with energy, young people and a great band."

According to the latest RealClearPolitics polling average, Whitmer holds a one-point lead over Dixon.

Leftist teacher goes crazy, bites woman at Tudor Dixon rally: Report

A public school teacher in Michigan allegedly attacked a woman at a rally for Republican gubernatorial candidate Tudor Dixon, reports say.

On October 29, an unnamed teacher in the Dearborn Public Schools district attended a Dixon rally held at Armando's, a Mexican restaurant in southwest Detroit. Wearing a mask that read, "I'm speaking," the woman held up a sign in support of Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

Cheryl Costantino, the Republican chairwoman of Wayne County, said that as the rally progressed, the woman slowly made her way toward the stage and began behaving erratically.

"She was acting so chaotic that I was worried she would go after the speakers or something or hurt somebody," Costantino stated.

It turns out that Costantino was right to be concerned. She has alleged that, shortly thereafter, the woman bit and pinched her in the arm.

"The top was a compression injury because of how hard her jaw bit me," Costantino said, describing her injuries. "So when it started swelling up, I couldn't even raise my arm, like it was even uncomfortable just to drive."

The woman was then asked to leave, and men, likely security, attempted to escort her from the premises, but the woman attempted to stand her ground, according to Costantino.

"And she was slapping all these guys, and this guy was just trying to guide her out and ask her to leave, and she refused to leave, and she kept saying, ‘I have a ticket!'" Costantino said, according to Breitbart.

Linda Sawyer, a witness, claimed that when she confronted the woman about the assault, the woman more or less admitted it.

"I went to her and I said, 'You bit Cheryl.' And she said, 'Yeah, well,'" Sawyer said.

"Like she was proud of it," Sawyer added.

Elisa Wagner, a local precinct delegate, then began filming the woman, who by that time had grabbed a serving tray holder and, in Costantino's words, held "it like a weapon."

Portions of Wagner's video can be seen in the WXYZ-TV news segment, though the woman's face has been obscured.

Costantino filed a report with the Detroit Police Department, and Wagner accompanied her as a witness and corroborated her story. Police are still considering whether to file charges, pending further investigation.

WXYZ-TV has confirmed that the woman teaches in the Dearborn Public Schools. The district released a statement following the allegations:

"The Dearborn Public Schools is in the process of conducting an investigation to gather all the facts associated with this alleged incident and determine if there were any violations of board policy."

"I don't understand who would trust someone like that with their children," Costantino, who is also a teacher, said. "And why would a school open themselves up to liability by keeping an employee who would act like that?"

Dixon herself has tweeted about the incident and asked Whitmer to "condemn" it:

“Will @gretchenwhitmer condemn the actions of her supporter?”

Dixon, her running mate, Shane Hernandez, and former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii), who has endorsed Dixon, were all in attendance at the rally.

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer tweets 'kids are our future' less than two hours before tweet vowing to 'fight like hell to defend access to abortion'

Democratic Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer issued a tweet on Monday declaring that "kids are our future" followed less than two hours later by a post declaring that she "will fight like hell to defend access to abortion in Michigan."

"Our kids are our future — and I’m fighting for them. By closing the school funding gap and investing in public education, we’re giving our students the support they need to thrive," Whitmer declared in one tweet.

"As long as I'm governor, I will fight like hell to defend access to abortion in Michigan," the other tweet declared.

“Our kids are our future — and I’m fighting for them. By closing the school funding gap and investing in public education, we’re giving our students the support they need to thrive.”

The tweets posted to the governor's @gretchenwhitmer Twitter account highlight the fact that pro-choice proponents do not recognize unborn babies as distinct human individuals with a right to life.

"I want every Michigander to know that I am more determined than ever to protect access to safe, legal abortion. Now is the time to use every tool in our toolbox to protect women and reproductive health care," Whitmer declared in a statement earlier this year when responding to the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. "I will fight like hell to protect every Michiganders' right to make decisions about their own body with the advice of a medical professional they trust. I will not give in or give up for my kids, your kids, and the future of our great state."

Whitmer, who took office in 2019, is currently running for reelection during the Wolverine State's 2022 gubernatorial contest. Republican candidate Tudor Dixon is challenging Whitmer for the job.

Democratic Rep. Cori Bush of Missouri has previously claimed that the Democratic Party is "pro-human rights" while advertising a series of events dubbed the "Roe the Vote: Reproductive Freedom Tour."

"I'm proud to announce the Roe The Vote: Reproductive Freedom Tour across Missouri! People everywhere need to know that Dems are the pro-human rights, pro-bodily autonomy, pro-reproductive justice party fighting to protect our fundamental rights! This is how we win," Bush tweeted last month.

Last week, the left-wing Women's March movement issued a tweet declaring that it is not only pro-choice, but also "proudly, unapologetically pro-abortion."
