John Fetterman, who supports Israel, responds perfectly to pro-Palestinian protesters chanting outside his home

Israel-supporting Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pennsylvania) came up with a perfect response to pro-Palestinian protesters who showed up outside his home late last week and chanted that he supports "genocide."

"Fetterman, Fetterman, you can't hide! You're supporting genocide!" the left-wing crowd hollered.

But the freshman senator had the ideal rejoinder under his sleeve, getting on the roof of his abode and holding up a huge blue-and-white Israeli flag which wafted in the wind high above the angry throng.

According to the Daily Mail, the protest took place outside his residence in Braddock, which is near Pittsburgh. While the brick structure in the video may not look like your garden-variety home, Fetterman's website indicates that he, his wife, and their three children live in a restored car dealership in Braddock.

The scene was reminiscent of another headline-grabbing moment in November when Fetterman trolled anti-Israel protesters being handcuffed at the U.S. Capitol simply by walking past them while waving a miniature Israeli flag.

How are folks reacting?

It appears many commenters under the X post above are either Democrats or pro-Palestinian or both, and they weren't happy:

  • "We must thoroughly study this heel turn to make sure we see the signs in the next popular 'progressive,'" one commenter wrote.
  • "What an embarrassment to my home state," another user said.
  • "So Fetterman is a foreign agent serving a foreign country. Got it. US politicians should never wave a foreign flag. This guy should be removed from office," another commenter said.

Although, at least one responder seemed into it: "Stop making me like John Fetterman."

Anything else?

Fetterman of late has been behaving in a number of eye-opening, non-woke ways:

  • Earlier this month, he blasted the hypocrisy of South Africa going to international court against Israel for the Jewish nation's "genocide" against Palestinians in Gaza.
  • In December, Fetterman declared he's "not a progressive," reportedly called the gigantic number of border crossings "astonishing," and said that such concerns aren't xenophobic — and repeated his belief that Democratic New Jersey lawmaker Bob Menendez should be expelled from the U.S. Senate.
  • In October, Fetterman called out lawmakers from his own party who jumped the gun to blame Israel for a Gaza hospital bombing when it was soon revealed Hamas was behind the deadly act.
  • That same month, Fetterman also announced he would highlight the identities of those Hamas abducted: "My office will display every last one of the innocent Israelis kidnapped by Hamas until they are safely returned home. We won't stop sharing their stories until then."
  • Fetterman also said in October, "Now is not the time to talk about a ceasefire. We must support Israel in efforts to eliminate the Hamas terrorists who slaughtered innocent men, women, and children. Hamas does not want peace, they want to destroy Israel. We can talk about a ceasefire after Hamas is neutralized."

Democrat John Fetterman waves Israeli flag right at furious, anti-Israel protesters getting handcuffed at US Capitol

Democrat U.S. Sen. John Fetterman on Thursday totally trolled anti-Israel protesters who were being handcuffed at the U.S. Capitol — simply by walking past them while waving a miniature Israeli flag.

"You're a horrible human being!" one of the protesters — all of whom wore Veterans Demand Ceasefire T-shirts — yelled at Fetterman as he approached the oh-so-annoyed demonstrators.

Here's what that looked and sounded like:

They booed, they shouted, "Shame!" and they chanted, "What do we want? Ceasefire! When do we want it? Now!"

Fetterman, towering over all of them, appeared to stay silent as he walked past the demonstrators.

What else?

Progressive group About Face called Fetterman a "jackass" and added on X that the Democrat "saw veterans getting arrested and laughed. We asked to see @SenGillibrand. We were put in cuffs. We need leaders who listen to veterans demanding a #CeaseFireNow."

This wasn't the first time Fetterman stood up for Israel.

Last month, he called out lawmakers from his own party who jumped the gun to blame Israel for a Gaza hospital bombing when it was soon revealed Hamas was behind the deadly act.

"It's truly disturbing that Members of Congress rushed to blame Israel for the hospital tragedy in Gaza," Fetterman said. "Who would take the word of a group that just massacred innocent Israeli civilians over our key ally?"

Also in October, Fetterman announced that he would highlight the identities of those Hamas abducted following its deadly surprise attack against Israel: "My office will display every last one of the innocent Israelis kidnapped by Hamas until they are safely returned home. We won't stop sharing their stories until then."

He also said last month, "Now is not the time to talk about a ceasefire. We must support Israel in efforts to eliminate the Hamas terrorists who slaughtered innocent men, women, and children. Hamas does not want peace, they want to destroy Israel. We can talk about a ceasefire after Hamas is neutralized."

VIDEO: Iranian authorities attempt to burn Israeli flag — but 'karma' turns the tables all the way over

Iranian journalist and activist Masih Alinejad reported Sunday that "authorities in the Islamic Republic attempted to burn the Israeli flag, as they usually do."

However, Alinejad took note that "this time karma got them, and they ended up burning themselves."

Here's the clip:

Iranian burns Israel flag then gets caught on fire. youtu.be

Alinejad added on Twitter that "unlike the regime, ordinary Iranians increasingly refuse to burn or walk on Israeli and American flags."

Indeed, TheBlaze in January 2020 reported that when thousands of Iranians marched in the streets of Tehran calling for the resignation of Ayatollah Khamenei, most of them carefully walked around images of U.S. and Israeli flags painted on the ground.

How did folks react to the video?

While there's always plenty of anti-Israel sentiment to be found on social media — particularly amid reports of Palestinian casualties following Israel's retaliation against Hamas militants who fired rockets into Israel Monday — some folks who commented on the tweeted video weren't too sympathetic to the Iranian guy after his backside caught fire:

  • "When it comes to venting Islamic radical hate, taking everything to excess is the rule," one commenter said. "It can't just be a little handheld flag, it has to be a battalion banner. They can't just light a match or use a Bic, it has to be a bucketful of gasoline. They're idiots."
  • "Stupidity to the moon," another user observed.
  • "Is this a lost episode of The Three Stooges?" another commenter asked. "I think I see Curly, but where's Moe and Larry?"
  • "Did you notice a gust of wind came in just at the right time?" another user noted.
  • "He made an ash of himself," another commenter quipped.
  • "Don't mess with Israel," another user declared.
  • "Guess they didn't teach fire safety at terrorist school," another user offered. "Stop. Drop. Roll."
  • "I'll take my xenophobia extra crispy, thanks!" another commenter joked.
  • "Good thing they were wearing masks," another user noticed.
