Trump’s FCC Must Smash Corporate Media’s ‘Censorship Cartel’
FCC chairman nominee Brendan Carr sounds like he means business in his vows to 'reinvigorate' broadcast TV and 'smash the censorship cartel.'
Earlier this week, “The View’s” Sunny Hostin, who Dave Rubin believes is “the most racist person on mainstream TV,” went on “a somewhat unhinged rant about Matt Gaetz” — Trump’s pick for attorney general before he withdrew from his nomination.
“How could you nominate someone with allegations of child trafficking across state lines and having sex with a 17-year-old? My understanding further on in the interview, they discussed the fact that once he finds out that she’s 17, he stops having sex with her,” Hostin told the panel.
Two days later, Hostin was forced by the show’s legal team to correct this libelous smear against Matt Gaetz live on the air.
Dave plays the clip of Hostin “eating crow,” and the look on her face is priceless.
“Sunny, you have a legal note,” Whoopi Goldberg said to Hostin.
“I do have a legal note. Thank you, Whoopi,” Hostin retorted with venom before she began reading off the teleprompter.
“Matt Gaetz has long denied all allegations, calling the claims ‘invented’ and saying in a statement to ABC News that this false smear following a three-year criminal investigation should be viewed with great skepticism. That DOJ investigation was closed with no charges being brought,” she recited robotically with deadness in her eyes.
Although Dave doesn’t usually “revel in people’s misery,” in this case, he is absolutely “reveling in [Hostin’s] misery.”
“The stone-cold look and the crow that she had to eat on live television” makes him smile.
“Of course, what we know is this is purely political because if she liked him, she would never be saying these things,” says Dave. “It’s just a perfect moment.”
To watch Hostin’s pretty face twist in the bitterest sneer you’ve ever seen as she’s forced to backtrack her statements about Matt Gaetz, watch the episode above.

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) put on a master class Tuesday in handling the legacy media.
Mace ruffled woke feathers this week after she proposed a bill to mandate that House members, officers, and employees use restrooms, locker rooms, and changing rooms inside the Capitol and House office buildings that correspond with their biological sex.
'I'm not gonna allow a man in any female private spaces. Period. End of story.'
The bill became necessary, according to Mace, with the election of Sarah McBride (D-Del.) to Congress. McBride is a biological man who identifies as a woman.
On Tuesday, an ABC News reporter confronted Mace over her proposed legislation, using dishonest and combative framing.
First, the reporter asked Mace if legislation generally should be "targeted at one specific person," and Mace quickly corrected the record.
"It doesn't mention anyone in the legislation," she fact-checked.
When the reporter doubled down, arguing that Mace is specifically targeting Rep.-elect McBride, Mace explained why she refuses to bend the knee to woke outrage.
"I have said it's a result of this. I'm not going to allow biological men into women's private spaces. I will stand in the brink and in the way of anyone on the radical left who thinks it's OK for a penis to be in a woman's locker room or a bathroom or a changing room," she said.
"Hell no! I'm not gonna stand for it," she added. "This is not OK. I'm a survivor of rape, I'm a survivor of sexual abuse, and I'm not gonna allow a man in any female private spaces. Period. End of story."
Unfortunately, the reporter did not back down, following up with a question that suggested Mace is not treating McBride with respect.
"Speaker Johnson has said he wants to treat every new member with the words 'dignity and respect.' Forcing this congressperson to go into a male restroom, is that dignity and respect?" the reporter asked.
"Forcing women to share private spaces with men is not dignity and not respect," Mace fired back.
"I'm absolutely gonna stand in the way of anyone who thinks it's OK for a man to be in our locker room, and our changing rooms, our dressing rooms, and women's bathrooms," she continued. "And, in fact, if you agree with that, you're crazy."
On Wednesday, Mace proposed a new bill that would protect women on all federal property. The bill is called the Protecting Women's Private Spaces Act.

"The radical left would rather call me an extremist than admit they are wrong. The radical left says I’m a ‘threat.’ You better believe it. And I will shamelessly call you out for putting women and girls in harm’s way. Women fought for these spaces, and I will not let them be erased to score political points with a small but loud activist class," Mace said in a statement.
"Women and girls shouldn’t have to give up their safety or privacy just because the left wants to win points with their activist base," she continued. "This isn’t controversial — it’s common sense. I’m going to continue defending women and girls from these harmful, out-of-touch, and straight-up weird policies."

ABC News is reportedly in "panic mode" trying to find more conservative voices to balance "The View" after the show's entire panel threw their support behind Vice President Kamala Harris' failed presidential bid.
Sources told the New York Post that the network is scrambling to rectify the voter disconnect on the talk show. According to the unidentified sources, ABC News has been hosting "intense," "high-level meetings" since last week.
'The current panel is clearly resonating with audiences given that the series just had its highest rated episode in more than a decade.'
Reportedly, the first order of business for the network's executives is to find a panelist to join the show who is a supporter of President-elect Donald Trump. Even the show's two current so-called Republican co-hosts, Ana Navarro and Alyssa Farah Griffin, have repeatedly bashed Trump and his policies.
A source told the Post that the show is "facing pressure from higher-ups."
"Viewers can expect some major changes including bringing in new panelists that can bring in a pro-Trump perspective," the source continued. "Everyone on 'The View' endorsed Kamala Harris. They lost. They are out of touch with America."
"For a show about different perspectives, 'The View' doesn't seem to have any when it comes to Trump. ABC bosses don't want to alienate the pro-Trump demographic," the source added.
The source speculated that bringing on a pro-Trump host could cause a stir with the other panelists.
"The question is what will happen to the Whoopis and the Joys if they bring on a Trumpster?" the source questioned, referring to Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar.
Whether the network plans to replace any current hosts or simply add another panelist is unclear.
A second source told the Post, "We are trying to sort out how we cover the next 4 years when everyone inside ABC News is on one side."
An ABC spokesperson denied the sources' claims, stating that it is an "opinion-based show featuring a diverse panel of women with different points of view."
The spokesperson then remarked that the show had just seen its highest ratings, seemingly oblivious to the likely reason behind the surge in viewership. It is plausible that many Americans, especially those with conservative views who typically avoid the program, flocked to see the far-left panelists' dramatic reactions to Trump's landslide election win.
The ABC News spokesperson told the Post, "The current panel is clearly resonating with audiences given that the series just had its highest rated episode in more than a decade and hit a 4-year high in total viewers."
After Trump's win, Behar accused his supporters of being racist and misogynistic.
Co-host Sunny Hostin questioned what was "wrong" with the Americans who voted for him, blaming "uneducated white women" and "Latino men" for Harris' loss.
Meghan McCain, a former co-host on "The View," criticized her former colleagues for being out of touch with American voters.
"Respectfully, please stop sending me clips from The View," she told her followers on X. "It's a radical progressive insane asylum and that is why I left years ago."
In an earlier post, McCain wrote, "It is actual malfeasance on the part of ABC news that there isn't one single conservative woman on The View this morning who voted for Trump or simply isn't repulsed by his supporters to explain to America why he is still so popular."

A significant number of non-white voters supported Donald Trump for president, a fact that hip-hop radio host Charlemagne tha God appeared shocked to learn over the weekend.
During an interview on ABC News' "This Week," anchor Jonathan Karl asked Charlemagne — a stalwart Kamala Harris surrogate whose real name is Larry McKelvey — about the "demographics" of Trump's victory
What followed was a viral exchange in which McKelvey had a difficult time believing that a large number of non-white voters helped send Trump back to the White House.
"Trump got one out of every three voters of color," Karl told McKelvey.
"No," the radio host responded.
"Yeah — 33%," Karl affirmed.
"Really?!" McKelvey asked again.
"Yeah," Karl responded.
"When you say color, you mean like black, brown — everything?!" McKelvey asked, to which Karl responded by nodding his head in affirmation.
To his credit and despite his shock, McKelvey appeared to understand exactly why those non-white voters supported Trump and hand-delivered Harris a humiliating loss, citing identity politics, the economy, and immigration.
"I think some of this is a backlash to race and gender and identity politics. But man, most people, they just care about keeping food on they table and keeping a roof over their head. And I think sometimes people forget about that," he said.
In another moment of liberal self-awareness, McKelvey added that he believes the Democratic Party "forgot" about the working class — but Trump did not.
Later in the interview, Karl asked McKelvey why he thinks Trump performed well in liberal strongholds like Chicago and New York City.
"Because of dinner-table issues. Yo, it's literally that simple. Everyday people wake up, and all they want to do is have more money in their pocket, and they want to feel safe. I don't care if you're black, white, gay, straight, whatever religion you are, those are the two things that you're thinking about every day," McKelvey responded. "How can I keep some money in my pocket, and how can I stay safe?"
Not only that, but McKelvey slammed Democrats for largely ignoring the border crisis.
"Trump is saying build the wall. And when [Republicans] were telling you that it was a problem, [Democrats] would say, 'No, it's not a problem. Let's create sanctuary cities and let's bring the people into our cities,'" he observed. "And so when they started putting those illegal immigrants on the buses and on the planes and sending them to those sanctuary cities, what did they say then? 'No, don't come.'"
"So it looked like the Republicans were right and Democrats were wrong," McKelvey admitted.

Republican vice presidential nominee Sen. JD Vance was left dumbfounded this weekend when ABC News anchor Martha Raddatz minimized the impact of Venezuelan gangs in Colorado.
An apartment complex in Aurora, Colorado, became the center of national controversy in August after a viral video showed heavily armed men storming through the property. Locals complained that members of the violent Venezuelan street gang Tren de Aragua had taken control of the property.
City leaders, meanwhile, have denied that any part of Aurora has been take over. However, at least one person seen in the viral video at the apartment complex has reportedly admitted to being connected to Tren de Aragua. The city, indeed, has an ongoing problem with the gang.
'Only a handful of apartment complexes in America were taken over by Venezuelan gangs, and Donald Trump is the problem and not Kamala Harris' open border?!'
On Sunday, Raddatz demanded that Vance answer for Donald Trump's remarks about the situation.
Trump, according to Raddatz, claims Aurora has "been invaded and conquered by Venezuelan gangs." But, the ABC News host added, Aurora's mayor has denied Trump's assertion.
"Do you support Donald Trump making those claims that the Republican mayor says were grossly exaggerated and have hurt the city's identity and sense of safety?" Raddatz asked Vance.
At first, Vance responded with kid gloves, hinting at his frustration with the question.
"Martha, you just said the mayor said they were exaggerated. That means there's got to be some element of truth here," he pointed out. "Of course, President Trump was actually in Aurora, Colorado, talking to people on the ground, and what we're hearing, of course, Martha, is that people are terrified by what has happened with some of these Venezuelan gangs."
But instead of listening to the issues Vance raised, Raddatz claimed that she knows the truth of what is happening on the ground in Aurora.
"Sen. Vance, I'm going to stop you, because I know exactly what happened. I’m going to stop you," Raddatz boasted. "The incidents were limited to a handful of apartment complexes, and the mayor said our dedicated police officers have acted on those concerns. A handful of problems."
In response, Vance called out Raddatz for downplaying the problems in Aurora.
"Only?! Martha, do you hear yourself?!" Vance shot back. "Only a handful of apartment complexes in America were taken over by Venezuelan gangs, and Donald Trump is the problem and not Kamala Harris' open border?!
"Americans are so fed up with what's going on, and they have every right to be. And I really find this exchange, Martha, sort of interesting because you seem to be more focused with nitpicking everything that Donald Trump has said rather than acknowledging that apartment complexes in the United States of America are being taken over by violent gangs," he continued.
Raddatz, unfortunately, did not offer a substantive response to Vance. Instead, she simply doubled down.
"Let's just end that with they did not invade or take over the city as Donald Trump said," the host said.
"A few apartment complexes, no big deal," Vance snarked.

Republican vice presidential nominee J.D. Vance sparred Sunday with ABC News host Martha Raddatz, who downplayed the threat Venezuelan prison gang Tren de Aragua poses to the Colorado city of Aurora. Members of the violent gang, Raddatz said, have only targeted "a handful of apartment complexes" there.
