Danger ahead: Europe's new law is 'going to impact every single American'

While Americans have been focused on the election, the European Union has been in the process of passing a new law. It’s called the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive, and its reach will go far beyond European borders.

In fact, “It’s going to impact every single American,” Justin Haskins, author and editorial director of the Heartland Institute, tells Allie Beth Stuckey.

“Essentially, what it does is create ESG social credit scores for companies. ... These ESG scores are designed to transform the way companies operate, the kinds of products and services that they can sell, and then, by extension, transform societies around it,” Haskins explains.

So what does a company’s social credit score depend on?

Apparently, a variety of measures are used to determine a company’s credit score — things like “climate change,” “biodiversity,” “land and water use,” “social justice,” “LGBTQ” causes, and diversity in general.

“How diverse is your board of directors? How diverse is your management team? Like these are the kinds of things that are in these ESG scores,” says Haskins.

Even though the United States doesn’t have a social credit scoring law (most ESG initiatives exist in the private sector), Europe’s CSDDD will nonetheless hugely impact American businesses.

The law “applies to large companies that are based in the European Union” as well as “non-EU companies that do above a certain amount of revenue in the European Union, so for example Apple or McDonald's,” Haskins explains.

Further, these high-earning non-EU companies that fall under the jurisdiction of the CSDDD will be forced to adhere to its policies outside of the EU as well.

“It's not enough for them to change their policies in the EU; they have to change it in America. They have to change it everywhere they do business; that's what the law says, and if they don't, then they can be fined 5% of their total worldwide revenue, so for a company like Apple, if you do the math, that's $19 billion for one violation,” says Haskins, who predicts that “no one's going to violate this law because they can't afford to.”

If that wasn’t extreme enough, the law also applies to “almost all of the businesses that [companies under the CSDDD] work with in their supply chains, upstream and downstream, no matter where they're located or how much business those companies do in the EU.”

Haskins points to Ford as an example. Ford is an American company that does business in the EU and produces enough revenue to fall under the jurisdiction of the CSDDD.

Therefore, “All the businesses that [Ford does] business with in America are also doing these ESG scores,” he says, “so you could be a rubber manufacturer in Ohio that does no business in Europe, but you make rubber for Ford, so you also have to adhere to the EU rule, and Ford is going to be the one that imposes it on you through contractional insurances.”

Naturally, Ford will comply because if the company refuses, “then Ford gets fined 5% of their total worldwide revenue.”

“When you start playing out the ramifications of this, they’re enormous,” Haskins laments, adding that “through this [law], you can transform the entire country because you can transform hiring practices, business practices, the kinds of products that people sell and buy, the commitment to social justice goals,” etc.

“What’s the end goal?” asks Allie.

Menstrual cycle tracking app: 'We aim to support everyone with periods - regardless of gender'

An app designed to build "a better future for female health" by helping women track their menstrual cycles now claims that menstruation is not an exclusively female experience.

When a user complained on Twitter that Flo — a tracking app that claims to help you "know your body, own your health" — permitted men into "secret chats" about topics related to menstruation, Flo replied, "We aim to support everyone with periods - regardless of gender," followed by a pride flag and a "trans" flag emoji.

“Hi there.

We aim to support everyone with periods - regardless of gender 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️”
— Flo App (@Flo App) 1673868902

A quick scan of the Flo website reveals that the Flo organization embraces woke gender ideology, perhaps even more so than gynecological health. Flo asserts, "Our global community of women, girls and people who menstruate is growing every day," in the same paragraph where it vows to promote the "overlooked, undervalued and underfunded" field of "female health."

Later on that same page, it then belies the claim to focus exclusively on "female health" and instead pays homage to the woke notions of "diversity and inclusion":

Flo is on a mission to build a better future for female health, an area of healthcare that has been underlooked and underserved. But we also want to build a better and more inclusive future for all people who menstruate.

Flo also dedicates an entire subsection of its so-called "health library" to "LGBTWQ+." Article topics currently posted to that section of the site cover a range of issues, including lesbian sex toys, in vitro fertilization, and "trans period." The article about "trans period" offers ways to help "trans and non-binary" people "navigate" their periods, and ostensibly to assure readers that its contents can be trusted, the article was "medically reviewed" by a "sex therapist" with a master of arts degree.

On Monday, BlazeTV host Allie Beth Stuckey took Flo to task for permitting men into spaces that ought to be reserved for women only. "'Trans women' don't have periods," Stuckey noted. After that comment, Flo blocked Stuckey. But Stuckey was undeterred. She took a screenshot of Flo's Twitter behaviors and warned other potential Flo users, "Flo period tracker defended allowing men who identify as women on their apps, taking part in chats with women sharing intimate details about their bodies."

With over 100 million downloads, Flo is "[t]he #1 period and ovulation tracker worldwide" and brags openly that "millions of women use" it. It also purports to provide "evidence-based medical articles, tips and recommendations," even as it blocks Twitter users who state that men do not have periods.

"We’re open about how we keep you safe," the website states about its commitment to privacy. "With Flo, you’re in control."

Totally NOT crazy person on TikTok wants you to know what 'cupiosexual' means and this is completely normal

After singer Beyoncé's recent brush with the PC police over accidentally using an "ableist slur," BlazeTV's Allie Beth Stuckey would never say that the person who posted a video explaining what "cupiosexual" means on TikTok is crazy or loony or totally insane. Sure, this person gyrates around in some sort of peculiar dance that involves extreme close-ups of her nostrils and some maniacal cackling, but that's only because she really, really wants you to understand that there are people out there who "do not feel sexual attraction toward others," but they still "wish or want to be in a sexual relationship with someone."

Got it? No? Well, just watch the video below to hear our totally not crazy TikToker explain:

"That person is sadly unhinged," Allie commented. (Note that she did not call anyone "crazy.")

"And she's getting affirmation for her mental instability on TikTok," Allie added. (Okay, well, sometimes you have to call a spade a spade.)

Allie is the host of BlazeTV's "Relatable," which you can watch here. Can't watch? Download the podcast here.

'Stunning & brave': AOC ego-double led away in invisible handcuffs for heroic protest

BlazeTV's Allie Beth Stuckey, a hero, was "violently arrested" (not really) for protesting low-rise jeans on Wednesday, just one day after the brave and stunning Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York was handcuffed (also not really) as she was escorted from a pro-abortion protest at the U.S. Capitol.

On Tuesday, Capitol police arrested several Democratic lawmakers for refusing to comply with law enforcement orders to stop obstructing traffic outside the Supreme Court. Video of actresses Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) being led away peacefully but holding their hands behind their backs as if handcuffed (except when AOC raised her fist for a shackle-free communist salute) went viral.

'How RIDICULOUS do we look?': World leaders are openly mocking America — and it's really no wonder why

World leaders are openly mocking America in response to a photo of Biden’s deputy assistant Nuclear Energy Secretary Sam Brinton and Assistant Health Secretary Rachel Levine at French ambassador Philippe Etienne’s home that went viral last week.

“Week 4 On The Job: Champagne and Celebration with the French Ambassador in his residence for Bastille Day. (But also the amazing opportunity to connect with one of the only other transgender government officials, Admiral Levine – not gonna lie, it felt great to commiserate with a fellow trans person facing the hate.)” Brinton captioned the now made-private post on Instagram.

“You go back in time and have to explain this picture to someone from 2005. How do you explain what’s going on and how we got here?”
— Allie Beth Stuckey (@Allie Beth Stuckey) 1657912042

Russia's United Nations diplomat Dmitry Polyanskiy posted a screenshot of Brinton's post with the caption: "Keep going that way, our dear American ex-partners! I don’t think we even need any long-term strategies to counter your malicious role in the world - you are doing the right thing yourselves! And let the whole world see WhoYouAre!"

Maria Zakharova, a Russian foreign affairs communications official, also posted the image with a caption that translates to: "US transgender Admiral Rachel Levine and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Nuclear Energy Sam Brinton at the French Embassy at a Bastille Day reception. Answer the question honestly for yourself: are these the values that you are ready to instill in your children? Or do we still fight for our own?"

On the radio program, Glenn Beck and Pat Gray asked why, at a time when Europe is having record inflation, food shortages, and is on the eve of possible war over oil, we would send these two to represent the United States?

"What are we doing? How ridiculous do we look?" Glenn said. "[French President Emmanuel] Macron has come out and said to the people, 'Do not drink any of the poison that is coming from America.' They're making fun of us because we're too crazy ... we're too crazy for the French!"

"We're just gorging on ourselves on nonsense and whatever makes us feel good. America should be ashamed of itself, and I think many of us are," he added.
