Kamala Harris once suggested it "would be great" to ban all gun ownership but said such a policy was unlikely and a "long way off" due to constitutional obstacles, according to a previously unreported audio recording.

Male gets angry at speeding neighbors, throws beer can at them — and then grabs his AR-15 and fires shots, sheriff says

A male got angry at speeding neighbors and threw a beer can at them — and then topped that off by grabbing his AR-15 rifle and firing shots, according to Grady Judd, sheriff of Polk County, Florida.

What are the details?

"I want to tell you a story that you're just not gonna believe," Judd said in a video posted on the sheriff's office Facebook page. "Now, we all have complaints about people speeding down the roads, speeding through our neighborhoods. Ol' Eric Proctor took his conduct to the extreme."

Judd said Proctor claimed neighbors were speeding down his street and threw a beer can at them in retaliation.

After confronting them about their speeding, Judd said Proctor grabbed his AR-15 rifle and fired three shots — one in the air and two in the ground.

Judd said the neighbors called police for help, but Proctor denied their claims — except that surveillance video shows Proctor going into his house, exiting with the rifle, and going back into the house with the rifle.

What happened next?

Proctor, 35, was arrested and charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and two counts of throwing a deadly missile as well as discharging a firearm in public and tampering with evidence following Wednesday's incident in Lakewood, WOFL-TV reported, citing an arrest affidavit.

Proctor was soon released from Polk County Jail after posting a $26,000 bond, the station noted, citing arrest records.

"Hey, if you're that stirred up, just call us," Judd added in the sheriff's office video. "We'll deal with it, and you won't end up in jail charged with a felony."

'Free AR-15 & Turkey': Florida roofing company offers wild promotion with purchase of a new roof

'Free AR-15 & Turkey': Florida roofing company offers wild promotion with purchase of a new roof

A Florida roofing company has offered a free turkey along with an AR-15 rifle with the purchase of a new roof, which it hopes will bring in added business in the winter months.

Roof EZ president Jason Polly said that the company's “Roof and Gobble” promotion will hopefully bring families together over a theme of protecting their home.

“The turkey will get you all sitting at the table so you can spend time together. The roof will protect your home, and the AR-15 will protect your family,” Polly told NBC2 News in an interview.

After just two days of the promotion, the company had sold eight roofs and received another 50 inquiries about the offer, NBC News reported. Typically, the Cape Coral, Florida, company sells approximately 30-50 roofs per month, while the goal with the promotion is to increase that number to 60-100.

"Everybody should have an AR-15," Polly said. "Everybody should have the means to protect their homes and their family. It’s not really catered to anybody, any state, any political view, anything like that. It’s all about safety."

Lawyers representing Roof EZ assured outlets that the promotion is legal, as the business is working with a local gun store. However, the rifle cannot be picked up by the customer until after the roof is completed. A customer possessing a concealed carry permit reportedly can pick up the gun immediately after; otherwise a three-day wait time and a background check have to happen first.

"You have to go through all the proper channels before you can walk away with a gun," Polly said.

Polly explained that he borrowed the idea after seeing a company in Alabama try a similar promotion and that it is meant to promote constitutional rights while also increasing business.

“I figured, hey, we’re in Florida. This is the most Florida thing you can do. Let’s do it,” Polly continued, according to the New York Post.

"If someone has the means to buy a roof, they have the means to go buy their own firearm,” he went on. "They’re just buying a roof and supporting our Second Amendment right. I support everybody’s First Amendment right. ... They can reciprocate and respect my Second Amendment rights."

The promotion has an approximate value of $500.

Joy Behar’s comment about assault weapons makes us want to face-palm

“One time, on this program, I gave the women of ‘The View’ credit,” says Dave Rubin, but “today is not that day.”

And it’s no wonder when you hear the utterly preposterous conversation that transpired between Joy Behar and Sara Haines.

“I would love to see an assault weapons ban,” said Sara, adding, “I don’t believe they’re a sport or hunting instrument. It’s like shooting fish in a bucket.”

“But also, if you shoot with an AR-15 — let’s say you shoot a deer — you can’t eat it because you’ve basically demolished the animal,” added Behar, throwing up her hands.

Tell us you know nothing about guns, hunting, or the Second Amendment without telling us you know nothing about guns, hunting, or the Second Amendment ...

'You need an F-16': Biden mocks Second Amendment supporters weary of a tyrannical government

President Joe Biden mocked Second Amendment supporters on Tuesday by saying they need fighter jets — not AR-15 rifles — to challenge the government.

While speaking at a campaign event in California, Biden addressed gun violence and pushed numerous false claims.

First, Biden claimed the National Rifle Association wields "overwhelming power" and "is the only outfit in the nation that we cannot sue as an institution." This, of course, is not true. There is an active lawsuit in New York against the NRA that a judge has ruled can proceed.

Next, Biden claimed the Second Amendment explicit does not state that you can "own any weapon you want."

"There’s a lot of things we can change because the American people by and large agree you don't need a weapon of war. I’m a Second Amendment guy. I taught it six years in law school. And guess what? It doesn’t say that you can own any weapon you want. It says there are certain weapons that you just can’t own. Even during when it was passed, you couldn’t own a cannon," Biden said.

However, the text of the Second Amendment does not explicitly prohibit the ownership of any weapons. It states:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Moreover, it's not true that Americans were prohibited from owning cannons. Biden has been repeatedly fact-checked on the claim, which is downright false.

"We have no idea where he conjured up this notion about a ban on cannon ownership in the early days of the Republic, but he needs to stop making this claim," wrote Washington Post fact-checker Glenn Kessler.

Finally, Biden responded to the argument that Second Amendment advocates make: A populace without arms is subjected to government tyranny. But according to Biden, your guns don't matter — because the government has fighter jets.

"Well, if you want to do that, you want to work against the government, you need an F-16. You need something else than just an AR-15," Biden sneered.

Biden used the same argument in January – that Americans would need fighter jets or nuclear weapons to challenge the U.S. government — to push gun control.
