Viral on steroids — Trump/Musk interview garners over 1 BILLION views, but mainstream media is trying to downplay it

On Monday, August 12, Donald Trump and Elon Musk sat down for nearly two hours for an interview on X. The virality of their conversation was off the charts, amassing over one billion views on X.

Seth Dillon, CEO of the Babylon Bee, and Danielle D’Souza Gill, member of the advisory board for Women for Trump, join “Blaze News Tonight’s” Jill Savage to break down the highlights of the duo’s discussion.

- YouTubewww.youtube.com

“What were your biggest takeaways from the big conversation that happened last night?” Jill asks Dillion.

“I think it was a really interesting and wide-ranging conversation that allowed people to just kind of see who Trump is and what he thinks and why he believes what he believes without all of the gotcha questions,” says Dillon, adding that he was impressed by Musk’s lack of agenda.

“Elon wasn't trying to make [Trump] sound like a monster, and I also didn't get the impression that Elon was trying to sell Trump to us. He was just trying to have a conversation with him,” he explains.

Jill then plays a highlight from the interview during which Trump expresses his desire “to bring the American dream back.”

“They want the American dream back,” Trump said, adding that this issue was “more important than anything else” to the American people.

Dillon agrees wholeheartedly. “I think he's right. You know, the American people are struggling right now, and they want to hear about a path to a brighter future. They want to see the restoration of the American dream. I think that's absolutely true.”

To be expected, the mainstream media, which is just an arm of the Democratic Party, is writhing over this interview and trying to downplay its popularity.

“It got a lot more attention than the media wants us to think that it did,” says Dillon. “They try to act like it was just this nothing thing that had technical difficulties and no one was really tuning in or listening to it.”

And he’s right. A quick Google search reveals page upon page of mainstream platforms denying the interview’s popularity and citing technical difficulties. Further, media outlets took the interview as an opportunity to slander and lie about Trump. They claimed he was “meandering” and “boring” (MSNBC), they said the interview was an attempt to “shore up the white male base” (Washington Post), and they accused him of “[rambling]” and “[slurring]” his way through the interview (USAToday).

In fact, it’s hard to find anything positive that was said about the interview — yet another example of rampant censorship and media bias.

To hear more about the interview and the media’s response, watch the episode above.

'Woke Jesus' from Babylon Bee says to turn the other cheek, except for Republicans: 'Feel free to punch them in the face'

Christian satire outfit the Babylon Bee has released a new video that's bound to get leftists fuming as everyone else laughs: "Woke Jesus."

The clip follows Woke Jesus around the countryside as he delivers well-known commands and truths from the Gospels in a pseudo British accent — but with a left-wing twist.

"Do not be afraid," Woke Jesus gently replies to Martha. "For Lazarus will live again — through this mail-in ballot."

The video opens with Woke Jesus walking on a road as people follow him, and he tells them: "If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn and offer the other also — unless they're a Republican, then you can feel free to punch them in the face."

Boom.

Yes, it would seem Woke Jesus is exactly what leftists dream of and imagine him to be; he supports all their important causes.

Here's his stance on abortion: "Let the children come unto me, and do not hinder them — unless they might be born into poverty, or they might be an inconvenience to your party lifestyle. In that case, feel free to murder them in the womb."

Wondering how Woke Jesus feels about the transgender agenda? He declares, "Haven't you read that in the beginning, God created them male and female — and gender queer, femboy, trans man, trans woman, Two Spirit ..."

While Woke Jesus' voice fades out, and another scene takes over, hilariously the video intermittently returns to Woke Jesus as he keeps rattling off endless, ridiculous, multiple genders: "Bigender, nonbinary, demi-boi, omni-gender, pan-gender, xeno-gender, someone who identifies as a large ornate building."

Think Woke Jesus buys into that "love your enemies" stuff? Think again.

"You have heard that it was said, 'Hate your enemies,' but I say to you, this is correct," Woke Jesus says before turning to a familiar visual aid. "And here's a handy little chart to help you understand who your enemy is based on Marxist intersectionality theory."

'Be less white'

The biggest satirical takedown may be the send-up of the rich young ruler approaching Jesus and asking him, "What must I do to be saved?"

We're used to the Gospel accounts that indicate Jesus tells him to sell all his possessions, give to the poor, and then to "follow me."

Not Woke Jesus.

To be saved, Woke Jesus tells the man to "be less white."

The narrator then notes that "the man went away sad, for he was very white." Ouch!

You'd think Woke Jesus would at least possess the compassion to raise his friend Lazarus from the dead, but when Martha approaches him in tears and says, "My Lord, if you had been here, my brother Lazarus would not have died," Woke Jesus has something else in mind.

"Do not be afraid," Woke Jesus gently replies to Martha. "For Lazarus will live again — through this mail-in ballot."

The Woke Jesus hits just keep on coming:

  • "I'm the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father — except by reducing their carbon footprint and getting vaccinated 12 times, like me."
  • "Cancel your enemies, curse those who bless you, and burn down the whole country if you don't get your way."

Woke Jesus goes on to endorse the "pretty sweet" leftist tactic of "wealth redistribution" as well as a "new health care bill that will force you to buy insurance. Because I — I'm a good person." His answer to the evils of capitalism? An "eat the rich!" chant.

Seth Dillon mockingly responds after Kari Lake campaign says Babylon Bee post 'isn't even valid satire'

Kari Lake's campaign blasted the Babylon Bee over a piece mocking Lake's abortion stance.

The satire site's headline that Lake's campaign objected to read, "Kari Lake Announces Plan To Lose Another Election But This Time While Supporting Baby Murder."

"This is reprehensible and it isn't even valid satire. Disgusting," the "Kari Lake War Room" account wrote in response to the Bee's tweet.

— (@)

Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon fired back, mocking the complaint from Lake's campaign. "I would like to apologize to everyone affected by the invalid satire we published earlier. From now on we will check to make sure it's as valid as the abortion law in Arizona before posting," he quipped.

— (@)

Lake, who is currently running in the Republican U.S. Senate primary in Arizona, has said that she would oppose a federal abortion ban.

She has also expressed opposition to an Arizona Supreme Court ruling on a law that prohibits performing abortion unless the mother's life is in peril.

The law states that, "A person who provides, supplies or administers to a pregnant woman, or procures such woman to take any medicine, drugs or substance, or uses or employs any instrument or other means whatever, with intent thereby to procure the miscarriage of such woman, unless it is necessary to save her life, shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison for not less than two years nor more than five years."

While the ruling to allow enforcement of the law marked a clear win for the pro-life cause, Lake opposed the decision and called for the state's legislature and Democratic governor "to come up with an immediate common sense solution that Arizonans can support."

The ruling stated, "Although we lift the stay on enforcement of § 13-3603, we do so with two caveats. First, § 13-3603 may be enforced prospectively only. Second, we stay enforcement of § 13-3603 for fourteen calendar days from the filing date of this Opinion to permit the parties, on remand, to determine whether to pursue remaining issues raised in the trial court and, if so, to request further stay relief at the trial court's discretion."

AOC Admits Big Tech’s Algorithmic Meddling Is ‘Election Interference’

Rep. Ocasio-Cortez is right that those who weaponize Big Tech algorithms to control discourse are guilty of 'election interference.'

Hunter Biden Spent HOW MUCH on 'women' and 'adult entertainment'?

Hunter Biden is one of the world’s most obvious criminals who has yet to face any consequences.

The president’s beloved son has been indicted for multiple felonies, including numerous tax evasion charges. But what was he doing while he was evading taxes?

Spending. A lot.

“Biden, did you know that your son was spending an awful lot of money?” Glenn Becks says, noting that when Biden didn’t pay his income tax, estimated at about $1.4 million, he was withdrawing even more from the ATM.

Hunter has reportedly taken $1,664,004 out of ATMs over the course of four years.

“I didn’t know you could get all of that money from an ATM, but apparently you can,” Glenn says.

In addition, Hunter went on to spend a whopping $23,567 on sports and recreation and $309,277 over a four-year period on education. He then spent $39,801 on home help, cleaning, and child care and $42,856 on home improvement and maintenance.

He spent $58,542 on credit card payments, $53,000 on Wells Fargo advisers, and $71,869 on rehab.

“Maybe some of those Wells Fargo’s people should have said, ‘You know what, maybe just stop drinking and stop going into rehab, you’d save $71,000,’” Glenn jokes.

But that’s not the worst of it.

Hunter Biden spent $118,440 on his telephone and utilities and $147,566 on legal and accounting fees.

And if you thought degenerate activities were lacking on this list, then you were right. There’s more.

Biden’s son spent $188,960 on adult entertainment, $683,212 on payments to various women, $397,530 on clothing and accessories, $236,634 on miscellaneous retail purchases, and $237,496 on health, beauty, and pharmacy.

Glenn is curious as to where Hunter got all this money and realizes that this is a massive issue in our world today.

“We are disconnected from the ruling class entirely. From the media and the ruling class. I don’t know who they’re representing besides themselves and the people who are even richer than them,” Glenn says.

“They’re not answering to the people really anywhere in the world.”

Conservative thanks crazy Dems for inspiring new gender book that is absurd in all the RIGHT ways

With everything going on in the world today, it’s become increasingly hard to be funny.

The amount of humorous content generated unwittingly by Democrats makes it hard to one-up them. Thankfully, Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon is here to take on that challenge.

One of the latest ventures undertaken by Dillon and his team at the Babylon Bee is a book that does just that: “The Babylon Bee Guide to Gender.”

The book answers serious questions Americans might have, like how many genders are there, really? How do you find out if you’re, in fact, a woman? And should Nikki Haley have become a biologist before declaring her womanhood every five seconds during Fox News’ first GOP presidential primary debate?

Glenn Beck sits down with Dillon to review these questions, and their conversation is every bit as hilarious as one might hope.

Part of the book is dedicated to a timely and important test that begins with the question: “Still not sure if you’re a woman?”

“Are you always cold?” Glenn reads, laughing. “Has a human popped out of you?”

“Have you ever decorated a bed with six or more pillows?” he continues, adding, “I refuse to answer.”

“This just allows us to draw general inferences though,” Dillon interjects, adding, “but because we’re not biologists we can’t say definitely. This quiz will give you a good idea.”

“We had this problem,” he continues, “for most of human history. We didn’t have science, we were all a bunch of bigots, and we thought that there were just men and women. And then science was invented very recently, and they determined that men can get pregnant and that women can suffer testicle injuries.”

Dillon is proud of his creation but owes a lot of credit to hilarious Democrats who have made it possible.

“You really don’t have to satirize this stuff. You really just have to hold it up there and say, ‘Look how absurd this is,’ and that’s kind of what that book does.”

Newsom Challenges Biden For Censor-In-Chief Title

California Democrats led by Gov. Gavin Newsom are giving the Biden regime a run for its money in the race to control Americans’ speech.

Tim Pool and the Babylon Bee are suing California's attorney general to prevent him from enforcing Democrats' 'censorship bill'

A conservative satire site, a populist podcaster, and an open-source social network are taking California's Democratic attorney general to court over a new law that will force social media companies to define undesirable speech and provide biannual reports on how they have policed it.

The Babylon Bee, Tim Pool, and Minds Inc. sued California Attorney General Robert Bonta Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, seeking to block the enforcement of Democratic Assembly member Jesse Gabriel's AB 587, which Gov. Gavin Newsom signed into law on Sept. 13, 2022.

Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon noted on his Substack that contrary to claims made by Democratic supporters of the legislation, AB 587 "is a censorship bill, not a transparency bill."

Minds CEO Bill Ottman, whose company will be impacted, said in a statement, "This law is openly about keeping people from exercising their right to create and publish constitutionally protected speech."

The 'censorship bill'

The law requires social media companies to post terms of service for each social media platform, thereby parameterizing acceptable user behavior and activities as well as what behavior or activities "may subject the user or an item of content to being actioned."

Extra to requiring companies to codify acceptable behavior and the consequences for misbehavior, the legislation states that twice a year, companies must submit a report to the AG, providing:

  • the current version of their TOS;
  • how their TOS defines (a) hate speech or racism, (b) extremism or radicalization, (c) disinformation or misinformation, (d) harassment, and (e) foreign political interference;
  • a breakdown of their censorship/moderation practices;
  • information about how users or content have been removed;
  • "Information on content that was flagged by the social media company"; and
  • other details pertaining to their so-called moderation efforts.

Companies that fail to provide an "adequate" report on time risk being "liable for a civil penalty not to exceed fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) per violation per day."

Upon ratifying this bill, Newsom said, "California will not stand by as social media is weaponized to spread hate and disinformation that threaten our communities and foundational values as a country."

"Californians deserve to know how these platforms are impacting our public discourse, and this action brings much-needed transparency and accountability to the policies that shape the social media content we consume every day. I thank Assemblymember Gabriel for championing this important measure to protect Californians from hate, harassment and lies spread online," added the Democratic governor.

AB 587 went into effect January 2023. Companies must submit reports to the AG no later than Jan. 1, 2024.

The lawsuit

The lawsuit states that AB 587 is "unconstitutional on its face," and violates the rights of the Bee, Minds, and Pool under the First Amendment, the 14th Amendment, and the California Constitution.

"Those who wield political power in the Golden State have been candid about their displeasure with the speech being published on social media platforms," says the suit. "California Governor Gavin Newsom and Attorney General Bonta have both expressed a desire to use state power to chill speech they do not approve of, constitutionally protected expression they refer to with derogatory labels like 'disinformation,' 'hate speech,' and 'extremism.'"

Bonta's November 2022 letter to the heads of YouTube, Meta, Twitter, TikTok, and Reddit, in which he stated, "Social media platforms must take critical steps to stop the spread of disinformation and misinformation," is cited in the suit as one among many indications of the Newsom administration's desire to clamp down on free speech.

Later in the same letter, Bonta wrote, "I implore you to do more to rid your platforms of the dangerous disinformation, misinformation, conspiracy theories, and threats that fuel political violence, spread fear and distrust, and ultimately chill our democratic process."

According to the suit, AB 587 is "a vehicle for these unconstitutional ambitions" that was "designed to chill expression of lawful speech the State of California disapproves of to, as the legislation's sponsor put it, 'protect Californians from hate, harassment and lies spread online."

Among the categories of moderated speech (e.g., "racism," "extremism," etc.) that companies are instructed to report on under AB 587, the complaint notes that with the exception of "certain types of 'harassment' and 'foreign political interference,' these otherwise undefined categories of speech are plainly protected by the First Amendment."

"The practical effect of AB 587 is clear. To head off potential liability under the statute, and to keep the State of California's hands off its operations, social media companies must create and enforce policies related to disfavored content," said the suit. "Selectively requiring transparency of moderation policies of only certain viewpoints, using negative pejorative language, is a facial attempt to encourage increased moderation of such views."

Concerning California's purported desire to curb hate speech and misinformation on the internet, Dillon wrote, "It’s a good thing when people are allowed to speak freely. It’s a bad thing when Big Tech and the government work together to decide what we’re allowed to say. Why? Because they often get it wrong. Even worse, they get it wrong on purpose."

"In today’s post-truth, anti-reality world, describing a male person as a man is considered 'hateful conduct.' If Big Tech is tasked by the state with eliminating hateful or misinformative content, they’ll stuff everything they don’t like into those categories, including opinions, jokes, and even factual statements," Dillon added.
