Will Kamala Harris invoke the 25th Amendment against Biden? Senator weighs in

Many people, including Democrats, see Biden’s rapidly deteriorating mental state as a reason to invoke the 25th Amendment, which would transfer presidential powers to Kamala Harris.

Unfortunately, Harris is unlikely to be a better leader than Biden.

“[Kamala] would at least be alert,” says Glenn Beck, but “I don't know if she'd be any better.”

Even though Harris is “mentally competent,” she’s “a nightmare and a total idealogue who’s not all that bright,” says Senator Eric Schmitt (R-Mo.) in agreement.

The question everyone is asking is: Will she use the 25th Amendment against Biden? As long as she has the majority support of the Cabinet and two-thirds of the House and the Senate approve it, Harris has the power to dethrone Biden and likely end his 2024 presidential campaign.

Biden also has the power to invoke the 25th Amendment himself, but “that’s not going to happen,” Sen. Schmitt assures, adding that Biden “is not willingly giving this up.”

Even though Biden clearly refuses to acknowledge the “precipitous decline in his capabilities,” the rest of the country can see the plain truth.

“In interviews related to the document case, [Biden] couldn't remember when he was vice president,” Sen. Schmitt tells Glenn. “People see this playing out every day as he struggles to get through sentences, walking from place to place, falling.”

“Do you hear senators talk about this on the other side and say, ‘This is dangerous’?” asks Glenn.

“They, in private moments, will tell you that this is not the same Joe Biden,” confirms Sen. Schmitt. “People get it, people see it – people who serve with him, people who’ve been in the Oval Office talking to him see it.”

Whether or not Kamala Harris will cite the 25th Amendment as evidence to transfer Biden’s powers to herself remains to be seen, along with who the 2024 Democratic presidential candidate will be.

Rumors continue to circulate that Michelle Obama will take Biden’s place at the last minute.

Biden transferred the power of the presidency to VP Kamala Harris for 85 minutes during a colonoscopy

The office of the presidency of the most powerful country in the world was passed on to a woman for the first time in U.S. history for a brief period on Friday.

Vice President Kamala Harris assumed the powers of the commander-in-chief for 85 minutes while President Joe Biden was under anesthesia for a colonoscopy.

Technically, she became acting president, while Biden still retained the title of president.

Biden informed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) about the temporary transfer in a letter this morning.

"Today I will undergo a routine medical procedure requiring sedation. In view of present circumstances, I have determined to transfer temporarily the powers and duties of the office of President of the United States to the Vice President during the brief period of the procedure and recovery," the letter read.

The president sent a separate letter after the procedure when he resumed his powers.

"In accordance with the provisions of section 3 of the Twenty-Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution, I hereby transmit to you my written declaration that I am able to discharge the powers and duties of the Office of the President of the United States and that I am resuming those powers and duties," Biden wrote.

Harris was also the first Black and first South Asian vice president in U.S. history.

Biden was seen by a team of specialists during the 5-hour long medical exam and the White House released a 6-page report about the president's health.

The report said that Biden's ambulatory gait had stiffened as a result of spinal arthritis and other various causes.

After the exam, Biden pardoned two Thanksgiving turkeys named Peanut Butter and Jelly. Biden will be turning 79 years old on Saturday.
