Biden claims he's been 'delivering real results in fiscally responsible ways,' but here are the FACTS

The claims Biden made about the budget and the deficit during his disastrous State of the Union speech are bound to anger any hard-working American — and for good reason, because they’re not true.

“By the way, the first couple years we cut the deficit,” Biden told the country. “I’ve been delivering real results in fiscally responsible ways.”

“We’ve already cut the federal deficit,” he continued while slurring his words, “over a trillion dollars. I signed the bipartisan deal to cut another trillion dollars in the next decade.”

Stu Burguiere caught the lie immediately.

“Did you pick up a claim, uh, $1 trillion he claims he has cut,” Burguiere says, before going over the Congressional Budget Office Budget Outlook Headline Update to the budget from 2020 to 2030.

The CBO projected a federal budget deficit of $3.3 trillion in 2020, which is more than triple the shortfall recorded in 2019.

“We had a minor interruption, you might remember, called COVID-19,” Burguiere says, explaining that because no one could work, the government shelled out trillions of dollars to keep the economy running for what was supposed to be a short period of time.

“So the fact that he’s claiming a budget savings here is tough,” he adds.

Meanwhile, in 2018 and 2019, Donald Trump had deficits of $800 billion and $1 trillion.

In 2022 and 2023, Biden has $1.4 trillion and $1.7 trillion.

“How do you make $900 billion turning into $1.55 trillion into a good move?” Burguiere asks.

“You just measure yourself against peak COVID spending, which we all know is completely insane.”

Both Trump and RFK Jr. responded to Biden’s SOTU address: Who had the better reaction?

Neither Donald Trump nor RFK Jr. was impressed by Biden’s State of the Union address.

Both candidates took to social media to share their initial responses, which were equally disapproving but radically different.

Trump chose to focus on Biden’s lies: “Joe Biden is on the run from his record and lying like crazy to try and escape accountability for the horrific devastation he and his party have created. All the while they continue the very policies that are causing this horror show.”

“Joe Biden's sad excuse for a State of the Union address aside, here are the facts: When I left office, we gave Joe Biden the most secure border in U.S. history, we gave him ‘Remain in Mexico’ ... safe third agreements, the Asylum Ban, Title 42, 571 miles of border wall, rapid deportations, and much more,” but “as soon as he got in, crooked Joe and his radical left lunatics deliberately dismantled each and every one of those policies.”

“Over the past three years, Biden has actively aided and abetted the importation of millions and millions of illegal alien migrants and resettled them into your communities.”

To Trump’s response, Pat Gray says, “Good stuff,” adding that everything the former president said “is true.”

RFK Jr., on the other hand, chose to ignore Biden’s flaws and rather focus on getting back to the greatness that was once America: “I grew up in an America that seemed to have achieved its promise as an exemplary nation. ... We had become the City on the Hill. We were a moral authority around the globe; our government, institutions, our Congress, the court, the regulatory agencies, and even the American press were renowned for their integrity, and they were revered worldwide.”

“Other nations wanted our American leadership. They knew the difference between leadership and bullying, which is something our current leaders seem to have forgotten. We were the template of liberty, proof that for a country to thrive its people must be free — free to speak, free to worship, free to build great companies, free to start small businesses. We were the freest country in the world, and by no coincidence, the most prosperous.”

“Working Americans could provide for their families on a single salary, they could buy a home, raise a family, save for retirement without mountains of debt. We made the best music; we made the best movies; we made gold standard automobiles that everybody in the world wanted; we made blue jeans; we reconstructed Europe; we put men on the moon; we has the world's healthiest, best educated children."

“Our productivity, ingenuity, our ‘can do’ spirit were the envy of the world. We had confidence in our strength, our capacity, and the limitless potential of our country.”

“Wow! That’s good; that was inspirational,” says Pat. “What do you disagree with in that?”

Now we’re curious what you think. Who had the better response to Biden’s SOTU address? Donald Trump of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.? Leave us a comment below.

Glenn Beck dropped the F-BOMB after SOTU speech. Here's why

President Biden’s 2024 State of the Union address was so full of lies and finger-pointing that even Glenn Beck lost his cool and dropped the forbidden F-bomb.

“I don’t think I’ve ever done that before,” Glenn says.

“It happened because I just walked away from the television where I had been pacing like a caged animal because I was so angry at the lies, and not only that, the childish rubbing people’s noses in it,” he adds.

It started when Biden claimed that Donald Trump didn’t care about the American people during COVID.

“It started there, and then he went into rubbing Republicans' noses, like in the border, which was a complete lie,” Glenn explains, adding, “On his day of inauguration, all of a sudden, the border surge started.”

“95 executive orders allowing it to happen,” he continues, noting that thousands of Americans have died after the surge in fentanyl use that resulted from Biden’s disastrous border policies.

“He won’t stop it because he’s in bed with China,” Glenn says. “How dare you.”

While Glenn had been taking notes on the State of the Union address, none of his notes did justice to how he was really feeling.

“No point that I made from my notes really summed up what I felt the president did, and who he was in that, and that’s when I dropped the CFA, maybe more than once,” he explains.

“I shouldn’t have done that, because I want to be a better person,” Glenn continues, adding, “and quite honestly, I am glad I am on federally regulated broadcast airwaves today, because it’s one of the reasons why I joined my church. I need strong framework to help me be a better man.”

House Republican asks important question when CNN reporter confronts him for screaming 'lies' at Biden during SOTU

Rep. Derrick Van Orden (R-Wisc.) shut down a CNN reporter on Thursday with a single question while defending his outburst at the State of the Union.

Early in Biden's speech, Van Orden screamed "lies" when Biden attacked Donald Trump by saying the former president "failed the most basic presidential duty that he owes to American people: the duty to care." That sin is "unforgivable," Biden added.

After the speech, CNN correspondent Manu Raju confronted Van Orden for interrupting Biden.

"Why did you yell out the president was lying?" the CNN reporter asked.

Van Orden explained that he took issue with Biden's refusal to take responsibility for the border crisis.

"The president should have started and ended his State of the Union address by apologizing to the American people. He's let 8 million illegal immigrants into the country, open[ed] the border. And you know he can close it. So what he said there in the State of the Union, tremendous amount of it was just flat-out fabrication," he responded.

In a follow-up question, Raju suggested that it was inappropriate for Van Orden to engage in outbursts. But the interview quickly ended when Van Orden asked a revealing question of his own.

"You're obviously a member of the House. Is it appropriate for you to yell out 'lies' when the president is addressing you guys?" Raju asked.

"Is it appropriate to tell the truth?" Van Orden fired back.

The simple question raises an important point: if outbursts break decorum rules, what about dishonesty and a lack of candor?

For his part, Van Orden said Friday that he doesn't plan to apologize.

In a radio interview, he condemned Biden for treating the State of the Union address, which should be a politically agnostic summary of the state of the union, as a "campaign speech" to attack his No. 1 political rival.

Democrats fume over the word Biden used to describe Laken Riley murder suspect — but notice what they're not mad about

Democrats are fuming that President Joe Biden referred to Laken Riley's suspected murderer as "an illegal."

In his State of the Union speech Thursday night, Biden acknowledged Riley after Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) called him out. Biden, however, butchered Riley's name, instead calling her "Lincoln Riley" — the name of the head football coach at the University of Southern California.

"Lincoln Riley — an innocent young woman who was killed by an illegal, that's right," Biden said.

— (@)

The president's use of the word "illegal" to refer to Jose Ibarra — the Venezuelan immigrant living in the U.S. illegally who is charged with Riley's murder — sent the Democratic Party's word police into a frenzy.

  • "As a proud immigrant, I'm extremely disappointed to hear President Biden use the word 'illegal,'" Rep. Chuy García (D-Ill.) said.
  • "Let me be clear: No human being is illegal," Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) virtue signaled.
  • "The rhetoric President Biden used tonight was dangerously close to language from Donald Trump that puts a target on the backs of Latinos everywhere," Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-Texas) complained.
  • "Disappointed that @POTUS would use such dehumanizing right wing rhetoric to speak about immigrants tonight. No human being is illegal," Rep. Delia Ramirez (D-Ill.) reacted.
  • "He should have said 'undocumented,'" Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) policed.

Notice, however, what these Democrats are not upset about: Biden butchering Riley's name. That's the real sin in this story, and it begs the question: Does Biden know Riley's actual name?

It's important to highlight the fact that "illegal" is the adjective that U.S. law most frequently uses to refer to immigrants who cross into the U.S. illegally and are living here without legal authorization.

Moreover, the adjective "illegal" establishes an important distinction separating immigrants who come to the U.S. illegally versus those who go through the extensive legal process.

Charles Cooke, an immigrant and senior editor at National Review, explained:

I'm also a proud immigrant. There’s nothing wrong with using "illegal" to describe those who moved here in violation of our law — as distinct from those who did not. This is akin to the law-abiding complaining that the word "criminal" exists.

The aim of those who want to prevent the use of the term "illegal immigrant" is to make it harder for people to discuss reality in a way that displeases them. They oppose the law in question, and they think they can make it disappear if they change the words we use to debate it.

If Democrats are truly outraged about the adjective "illegal," they should exercise their legislative authority to change the existing statutory descriptions of illegal immigrants.

Until then, their virtue signaling rings hollow.

Video shows Mitt Romney confronting George Santos before Biden's SOTU speech: 'He's a sick puppy'

Republican Sen. Mitt Romney of Utah confronted Rep. George Santos of New York (R) at the State of the Union address on Tuesday, and the interaction was caught on video.

Romney told reporters later that he scolded Santos over numerous lies about his life he had been caught telling during his campaign for Congress.

“I don’t know the exact words I said. He shouldn’t have been there. Look, he’s a sick puppy. He shouldn’t have been there,” Romney told reporters after the speech.

“I don’t think he ought to be in Congress, and he certainly shouldn’t be in the aisle trying to shake the hand of the president of the United States and dignitaries coming in," Romney added. "It’s an embarrassment."

Video of the interaction did not catch the audio of their statements. Viewers immediately began trying to guess what exactly was said between the two, with most agreeing that Romney called Santos an "embarrassment."

Romney told reporters that Santos “should be sitting in the back row and staying quiet instead of parading in front of the president and people coming into the room."

On Wednesday, Santos addressed the feud and referenced Romney's religious faith.

“It’s not the first time in history that I’ve been told to shut up and go to the back of the room, especially by people who come from a privileged background,” said Santos to reporters.

“I’m never gonna shut up and go to the back of the room. I think it’s reprehensible the senator would say such a thing to me," he added. "It wasn’t very Mormon of him.”

Santos later tweeted a swipe at Romney over his failed 2012 presidential campaign against then-incumbent President Barack Obama.

"Hey @MittRomney just a reminder that you will NEVER be PRESIDENT!" he tweeted.

Here's the video of the confrontation:

The ACTUAL State of Our Union: Wars & Rumors of Wars...

Glenn brings the ACTUAL state of the union, because what America got last night was the Disney version. Joe Biden played the role of Elsa, hoping all of us would just “let it go” after a full year of probably the worst start to a presidency Glenn has ever seen. And no, your ears weren’t deceiving you, as President Biden had the audacity to finally admit our kids need to be in school. You weren't hallucinating, as he finally mentioned the border. He made a very brief pit stop at the economy before pivoting to his new apparent slogan: Building a Better America.

Why does BABA sound like baby talk? Glenn takes a deeper dive into some of the World Economic Forum lingo, because Biden’s comments on the Fed, Build Back Better (or BABA), and Ukraine are all linked together. The financial attack on Russia, though a necessary deterrent, could possibly be the framework for something MUCH bigger, and Glenn reveals it all.

He’s also joined by a power panel of BlazeTV hosts Stu Burguiere, Steve Deace, Pat Gray, and Dave Rubin.
