BLM paid nearly $1 million to its co-founder's baby daddy, roughly five times more than to the Trayvon Martin Foundation

Black Lives Matter paid its co-founder’s baby daddy almost five times more than it gave to the Trayvon Martin Foundation – a nonprofit dedicated to the legacy of the 2012 death of Trayvon Martin, which kicked off the BLM movement.

Patrisse Cullors, the former executive director and co-founder of Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, paid a company owned by Damon Turner $969,459 for “live production, design and media,” according to its latest IRS filings. The New York Post reported that Turner’s company, a for-profit organization, which is known for selling $145 sweatshirts and soliciting donations for abstract causes known as “the movement,” received the second-highest payout from Black Lives Matter in the fiscal year 2020.

Turner, a rapper and artist, is the father of Cullors’ son and manages a Los Angeles-based entertainment and clothing company called Trap Heals LLC. Turner is a frequent recipient of Cullors’ redirection of money raised for nonprofit causes. In 2019, Turner’s company received $63,500 from Reform LA Jails, a state-level political action committee controlled by Cullors that had the mission of working toward criminal justice reform.

While Cullors used money raised through charitable donations to pay the father of her child nearly $1 million, Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation paid the Florida-based Trayvon Martin Foundation just $200,000, according to IRS filings.

The Trayvon Martin Foundation was established by Martin’s parents to “provide emotional and financial support to families who have lost a child to gun violence,” according to its website. Trayvon Martin’s 2012 death led to the birth of the Black Lives Matter movement.

The IRS filings disclosing the questionable spending by Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation show that the company raked in $76,872,002 in charitable donations in fiscal year 2020 and paid out $25,997,945 in grants to other nonprofit organizations.

Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation’s largest payout was just over $2 million and went to Bowers Consulting Firm, which is owned by Shalomyah Bowers, a current board member of the foundation. According to IRS filings, the money was paid to Bowers for “administrative support, general consulting, strategy, design … and staff management under the direction of the executive director.”

The foundation also paid $840,993 to Cullors Protection LLC, a private security firm owned by Patrisse Cullors’ eldest brother. According to the IRS filings, the payments were for “professional security services." Cullors Protection LLC was established in July 2020 and currently provides security for the foundation’s $6 million Los Angeles headquarters.

Portland rioter jailed for throwing Molotov cocktails at police, handing out bats to other protesters. Three months earlier, he was preaching peace in Indiana.

A rioter who threw multiple Molotov cocktails at police in Portland, Oregon, during the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests has pleaded guilty to his crimes and has been sentenced to ten years behind bars.

What are the details?

Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt announced the news in a press release Tuesday, reporting that 25-year-old Malik Muhammed of Indianapolis, Indiana, pleaded guilty to a whopping 14 felony charges — including attempted murder, assault, riot, unlawful possession of a firearm, and unlawful manufacture of a destructive device.

The news certainly signifies a welcome change of course from Schmidt, who has been the subject of harsh criticism from Portland law enforcement over his abject refusal to prosecute rioters.

In the release, Schmidt included several photos and videos of some of Muhammed's violent acts, including one prominent act in which the rioter heaved a Molotov cocktail at police, only for it to fall short and "engulf a fellow protester in flames, causing severe injuries to that person’s legs."

Video of that particular incident was uploaded to social media and quickly spread online.

During that same incident, which took place outside the East Portland Police Precinct Building on Sept. 5, Muhammed was seen distributing baseball bats to other rioters.

What else?

The district attorney claimed that Muhammed traveled to Portland in the summer of 2020 with the intent to commit violence in the community and added that Muhammed's criminal activity "spanned September and October of 2020 and included four separate criminal incidents."

In separate incidents a few weeks later, on Sept. 21 and Sept. 23, Muhammed attended planned protests at the Multnomah County sheriff’s office and Multnomah County Justice Center, during which he threw Molotov cocktails at police officers.

During the first protest, Muhammed's Molotov cocktail failed to explode and was recovered as evidence. But during the second protest, the explosive device went off, narrowly missing multiple officers. It did, however, catch the clothing of one of the officers on fire.

In the last documented incident, which took place on Oct. 11 at Directors Park in downtown Portland, "Muhammed used a baton to smash the windows of the Oregon Historical Society, Portland State University, and multiple other businesses in the downtown Portland area," Schmidt said.

Police also recovered a loaded firearm on Muhammed's person that night.

In addition to the prison time, Muhammed was also ordered to pay $200,000 in restitution.

Anything else?

The Indianapolis Star reported that just three months prior to his criminal activity, Muhammed "emerged as an emblem of peace" in his home city amid protests over the police killing of George Floyd.

He was reportedly spotted at a June 1, 2020, demonstration "marching alongside law enforcement" and facilitating "hugs between protesters and police."

"Three months later, Muhammed was in Portland, Oregon, where he attacked law enforcement with Molotov cocktails and gave baseball bats to rioters," the outlet then said.

It was not immediately clear what led to Muhammed's change in tactics.

Amazon blocks ad for book probing BLM leaders: 'Content that revolves around controversial or highly debated social topics is not permitted'

Amazon reportedly blocked an advertisement this week for a new book probing the Marxist roots of Black Lives Matter leaders, claiming that the site does not permit content that "revolves around controversial or highly debated social topics."

What are the details?

The book, "BLM: The Making of a New Marxist Revolution," written by former journalist and senior fellow at the Heritage Foundation Mike Gonzalez, reportedly "examines who the BLM leaders are, delving into their backgrounds and exposing their agendas" to prove them "to be avowed Marxists who say they want to dismantle our way of life."

According to the Daily Signal, the Heritage Foundation attempted to buy an ad for Gonzalez's book but was denied. The conservative think tank said that Amazon, the nation's largest retailer, "blocked it from its website."

In a notice to Heritage, the tech giant stated that the ad was blocked "specifically for the following reasons: Your ad contains book/s or content that is not allowed. Content that revolves around controversial or highly debated social topics is not permitted. Please remove this content from your ad."

What else?

In response to the news, Gonzalez told the Daily Signal, "I wrote this book because most of the press refused to cover the important questions about the people and organizations behind Black Lives Matter. Now Amazon is trying to limit how many Americans read this book."

"The American people deserve answers to those questions, especially after the 630 or more riots that left our cities burning, businesses destroyed and billions in damage, and Americans dead," Gonzalez, a former Wall Street Journal opinion columnist, said.

"I have to wonder if Nikole Hannah-Jones' and Ibram X. Kendi's books — which also sell in [Amazon's] 'Black and African American History' category, where my book often outranked them in the past week — face similar constraints. Herbert Marcuse, the critical theorist who authored the essay 'Repressive Tolerance,' would be proud of Amazon," he added.

The book is still available for purchase on Amazon despite the tech giant blocking advertising for it. Amazon did not respond to the Daily Signal's request for comment.

Anything else?

It is far from the first time that Amazon has censored or suppressed the distribution of conservative content.

Perhaps most notably, the retailer — which still sells copies of Adolf Hitler's "Mein Kampf" — removed Ryan T. Anderson's best-selling transgenderism critique, "When Harry Became Sally," from its online store in February.

In March, the retailer went even further, announcing a ban on the sale of any and all books that "frame LGBTQ+ identity as a mental illness," despite gender dysphoria, a common topic included in books about transgenderism, being listed by the American Psychological Association (APA) as a mental disorder.

Amazon also pulled a documentary film about conservative Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas without explanation — and during Black History Month, no less.

Minneapolis Democrat calls setting police station ablaze an 'act of pure righteousness': 'The cops started it'

A leading Minneapolis Democratic Party official drew ire online recently after describing the riotous torching of a police station following George Floyd's death last year as an "act of pure righteousness."

What are the details?

Devin Hogan, the chair of the Minneapolis Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party — the state affiliate of the national Democratic Party — claimed in an op-ed for Southside Pride last week that Black Lives Matter rioters' decision to set the city's Third Precinct ablaze last May was a justifiable and "genuine revolutionary moment."

According to Hogan, the violent burning and pillaging of the police station was a measured, "proportional response." Why? Because, he exclaimed, "The cops started it."

"The youth of Minneapolis have grown up seeing the police murder people who look like them without consequences. They are out of f***s to give," he wrote. "They killed George Floyd and took every opportunity to escalate, agitate and make things worse. The cops are rioting and the people are responding."

"Like it or not, setting the Third Precinct on fire was a genuine revolutionary moment," he continued. "An act of pure righteousness to open new worlds of understanding. The people declared themselves ungovernable and unilaterally took their power back. The largest international human rights movement in modern history had begun. The youth of Minneapolis carried all of this."

"The cops started it," he melodramatically repeated.

What else?

Hogan's column immediately drew backlash and ridicule online from critics who claimed he was fomenting further violence.

After all, in the op-ed, the Democrat also called on protesters to "keep focus" whilst praising the violent actions.

"Eyes on the prize," he wrote. "Remember the demand of the streets. The blood and treasure spent. This is our job. Minneapolis must answer the call. For real this time. For real for real. Do it for the kids.

Then in response to criticism this week, Hogan doubled down on his message and defended his words. In a since-deleted Facebook post, the Democrat said the following, according to the Washington Examiner:

The truth hurts. Accurately describing reality is not a call to arms. Explaining the conditions of violent repression with the reasons why and how people react to that oppression is not condoning violence. Fetishizing decorum over substance is a hallmark of white supremacy. If antiracism offends your sensibilities then please use this moment to examine the role you play in maintaining and upholding these systems. Which side are you on?

Poll shows more Americans want Black Lives Matter riots investigated than Jan. 6 Capitol riot — and it's not close

More Americans say they want Congress to investigate Black Lives Matter protests than want the Jan. 6 U.S. Capitol riot investigated, new poll results show.

The news may serve as a boon to Republicans, who have argued that any truly bipartisan commission to probe the Capitol riot ought to be broad enough to include an investigation into the wave of violent riots that ravaged American cities over the last year following the death of George Floyd.

According to Rasmussen Reports, "66% of Likely U.S. Voters think Congress should investigate last year's violent protests, in which more than 2,000 police officers suffered injuries in the line of duty."

Only 21%, or roughly 1 in 5 Americans, said they do not think that Congress should investigate the Black Lives Matter riots, while 13% said they were not sure.

In contrast, the poll found that significantly fewer Americans support an investigation into the Capitol riot.

"The number of voters who want Congress to investigate last year's violent protests is higher than the 49% who say they support House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's select committee investigation of the January 6 Capitol riot," Rasmussen noted, adding that, "Forty-two percent (42%) say they don't support the January 6 investigation."

Results from the survey, which was conducted July 16-18, comes as Pelosi's select committee investigates on the events of Jan. 6. The survey indicates that Democrats may have overplayed their hand in estimating broad public support for the commission.

While support for the Jan. 6 commission appeared to be divided neatly down political lines, the prospect of an investigation into Black Lives Matter riots garnered widespread support from nearly all major demographics — including from Democrats.

"Sixty-seven percent (67%) of whites, 64% of black voters, 66% of Hispanics and 62% of other minorities think Congress should investigate the 2020 riots in U.S. cities," Rasmussen reported. "Seventy-five percent (75%) of Republicans, 60% of Democrats and 63% of voters not affiliated with either major party say Congress should investigate last year's violent protests."

The National Police Association, which helped conduct the survey, noted in reaction to the results that a failed response to the Black Lives Matter protests likely set off a nationwide crime wave that is still underway today.

"When the mayors of cities in which violent riots took place in 2020 refused to let police immediately stop the crimes taking place, it sent a message to violent criminals across the nation that crimes will be allowed and criminals won't be touched," the police group said in a statement. "For the last year violent crimes have increased nationally and the lack of support from politicians has resulted in the number of police officers declining into a short staffing recruitment and retention crisis."

Fearless: Jason Whitlock’s letter to black America explaining the real purpose of made-for-TV racial conflict

Dear Black People:

We are being lied to and set up. The mainstream media, Democratic politicians, social justice activists, and perhaps even your church pastor have led you to believe America is in the midst of a racial conflict similar to the Civil War and the civil rights movement.

They have pitted us against the Proud Boys, the KKK, rural militia groups, and Trump supporters in a made-for-TV race war. Just five years after Barack Obama completed two terms as president of the United States, we're supposed to believe America has been overrun by violent white supremacists determined to reinstate segregation, Jim Crow laws, and maybe even slavery.

Evidence of this massive wave of 1920s-style bigotry amounts to three things: 1) Republicans want all voters to show a government-issued ID; 2) On January 6, unarmed Trump supporters crashed the Capitol and took pictures inside Nancy Pelosi's office; 3) Across the nation, police kill on average 250 black men and 450 white men per year.

Oh, I almost forgot. There's a fourth piece of evidence. Colin Kaepernick failed to land a job as a starting quarterback after pissing off a large segment of football fans by taking a knee during the national anthem.

Those are the main smoking guns proving that white supremacy is the most dangerous domestic threat America faces. George Floyd, a habitual criminal and drug addict, is the Crispus Attucks of this raging race war. He is our rallying cry and hero.

It's a setup. We're being used as decoys and distractions in a war that has nothing to do with race.

The real war is about global power and the future of America's system of government. This country's elite, global citizens, and corporations prefer communism over capitalism and democracy. They prefer China's system over our system.

America has been the world's leader in racial progress and fairness. The mainstream media are not allowed to explain this to you. Advertisers, aka major corporations, will no longer support media outlets that back our current democratic and capitalistic systems of governance.

You say, what about Fox News? Turn it on. It's filled with a bunch of MyPillow and wounded soldier commercials. America's big, global corporations, the ones looking to improve their market share in China, are not financially supporting Fox News. The most popular voices at Fox News dislike China.

The faux race war the mainstream media have promoted is a tool being used to convince you and non-black Americans that our system of government has been a giant failure. They want you to believe that a great reset is necessary to achieve fairness.

The reset is communism, which starts with the gateway drug of socialism and ends in full-blown Marxism. China is run by the Communist Chinese Party. Communism has no respect for individual freedom or religion of any kind. Communism has no tolerance for political dissent.

Your religion and free speech will not survive the reset. Communism is racial oppression's best friend. When a nation is stripped of religious faith and free speech, few people have the courage to defend the rights of minorities. The elites cozying up to China do not care about you. They are aware of how despicably China treats black people. They are aware of how China squashes dissent.

Do your own research on communism and what it stamps out and how it oppresses. Don't take my word.

You might be wondering why Oprah Winfrey or LeBron James or some other super popular black celebrity isn't telling you what I am. They're global elites. The reset won't hurt them or their loved ones. Communism favors wealthy elites far more than capitalism and democracy do. Oprah, LeBron, and the other uber-wealthy black tokens will thrive under socialism and communism.

You won't. Unless you're a 6'6" basketball star or some other black entertainer capable of entertaining the people in power. That's a tiny percentage of black people.

Why won't your favorite white cable newsman or newswoman tell you what I'm telling you? Rachel Maddow, Anderson Cooper, Andrew Cuomo, Joe Scarborough, aren't they our allies? No. They're not. They're political lobbyists working on behalf of the corporations and politicians pushing the reset.

OK. What about me? You might think I'm a political partisan working on behalf of conservative Republicans. That is certainly how I've been painted by left-leaning media outlets and social media platforms. And I'm now partnered with Blaze Media, a platform that leans right.

Judge my career. I have been at this for more than 30 years. I have been equally despised by the left and the right. I have publicly feuded with Bill O'Reilly and Keith Olbermann. I've been a guest on their old Fox News and MSNBC shows. I've worked and/or written for ESPN, Fox Sports, the Huffington Post, Playboy Magazine, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal. I spent years bashing Sarah Palin.

I don't play for any political team. I've never voted. I go wherever I believe I can speak, follow, and write the truth. The truth I believe the most is that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior.

I believe Jesus is under attack. That's why I'm at Blaze Media. You can't defend Jesus at corporate media outlets. Advertisers won't allow it. You can discuss the religion of racism every day at ESPN, CNN, MSNBC, and even Fox Sports. But it's taboo to discuss the cure for racism — Jesus — on those platforms.

I'm not saying any of this because there's a big paycheck for black men espousing my views. The money for black broadcasters and journalists is connected to preaching the race-bait religion.

Let me be clear. I'm not broke by any stretch. I've earned and saved a substantial sum of money. But I've bypassed far more money than I've earned with the choice I've made to follow the truth wherever it leads and my refusal to support the racial groupthink dictated by global elites.

My faith won't allow me to jump on board with the lunacy, racism, and sacrilege of Black Lives Matter, a movement founded by three lesbian self-admitted trained Marxists. BLM is an atheist movement in support of LGBTQ issues and the reshaping of America into a communist country. BLM is part of the deception.

Black people tell me all the time: "I don't support the BLM organization, but I support the slogan and sentiment."

Let me translate that. You despise the devil's tree but love the fruit it produces. That's some Don Lemon-Lori Lightfoot-Van Jones-Colin Kaepernick level of hypocrisy. You know, all the Malcolm X-wannabe, anti-white radicals in relationships with white partners. They hate the white tree but can't live without the white fruit.

We have to stop letting everyone use us. We're being played. We're all being played, black and white working-class people. It's all a giant setup. Look at what they did to Trump supporters. They were manipulated into storming the Capitol, and then the corporate media portrayed it as a bloody, violent KKK rally intended to overthrow democracy. The so-called "insurrection" is an excuse for the government to seize more power and crush dissent.

We, black people, have been convinced the crushing of working-class white people is good for us.

It's not. Working-class white people, Christian white people, are our true allies, not the elites. We can't see that because of the made-for-TV hyper-focus on racial conflict.

The defunding and demoralizing of police are tactics deployed to increase violence in major cities. Local media outlets are focusing on this rise in crime, national media outlets have followed suit, and social media platforms are generating viral videos exposing the crime wave.

Guess who are the stars of this content. Black perpetrators.

It's all a massive setup. The stirring of racial animus between Obama worshippers and Trump worshippers is orchestrated by billionaire elites, executed by trained Marxists, promoted by millionaire influencers in the media, sports, and entertainment worlds, and co-signed by religious leaders pursuing popularity.

Black America, print this letter and share it with family, friends, co-workers, and, most importantly, your pastor.

My critics will tell you: "Oh, Jason Whitlock is a sellout. He hates black people."

That's laughable. It's part of the deception. I despise the people deceiving us, manipulating us to participate in a racial clash that will be used to destroy the religious and individual freedoms that liberated us.

There's a reason black and brown people across the globe fight to get into this country and excel when they do. They love the American tree and the fruit it produces.

Thanks for reading,

Jason Whitlock

Family of 8-year-old killed by ‘armed vigilantes’ during BLM protests sues Atlanta, its mayor, and others

The heartbroken family of Secoriea Turner — an 8-year-old girl who was shot and killed by spray gunfire during Black Lives Matter protests in Atlanta last year — has filed a lawsuit against the city, its mayor, and other officials.

In the complaint filed in Fulton County State Court on Monday, Turner's grieving parents alleged that city leaders failed to protect their daughter amid the violent riots that rocked the city in the aftermath of Rayshard Brooks' death.

The complaint cited numerous failures by city leaders, "including that they were negligent in their duties by failing to remove armed vigilantes who had gathered alongside peaceful protesters at the Wendy's where Rayshard Brooks was shot and killed," according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

"We are forced to live through this day by day," Secoriea's mother, Charmaine Turner, said during a press conference announcing the lawsuit. "We deserve justice. Someone needs to be held accountable."

"There is no dispute that this little girl was innocent — that this family was innocent, did nothing wrong. On their way home, and they lost their little one," attorney Shean D. Williams of the Cochran Firm, which is representing the family, added.

Secoriea, who was a rising third-grader, was tragically killed on July 4 when she and her mother encountered a group of armed rioters who had blocked a street near where Brooks was killed. Police said the rioters opened fire on the vehicle as it tried to drive around the blockade, sending eight bullets into the car and striking Secoriea in the back.

News of her death made national headlines, especially after the young girl's parents delivered an impassioned rebuke of the killers following her death.

"They say black lives matter," the girl's father, Secoriya Williamson, said during a news conference. "You killed your own this time. ... You killed a child. She didn't do nothing to nobody."

"She was only 8 years old," the girl's mother said before breaking down in tears. "She would have been on TikTok dancing on her phone, just got done eating. We understand the frustration of Rayshard Brooks. We didn't have anything to do with that. We're innocent. My baby didn't mean no harm."

According to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, the complaint requests that the family receive financial compensation "in an amount to be determined" and a jury trial "on all claims so triable."

The crime occurred during a wave of elevated violence in the city. In the aftermath, residents have been calling on city leaders to take aggressive action to protect the public.
