Courage is contagious.

Dennis Quaid hit the publicity trail for “Reagan” a few months back, never hiding the fact that he supports Donald Trump in the November election. It’s the kind of statement that can stop a career cold, even when the star in question has decades of audience goodwill — as Quaid has.

Now it’s Zachary Levi’s turn.

The “Chuck” and “Shazam!” star just threw his support behind Trump at a Reclaim America tour. He did so with grace and patience, making sure not to attack or alienate those who disagree with his presidential choice.

Call him the anti-De Niro.

Will he pay a price for his decision? Perhaps. He noted that possibility in his comments. If enough Hollywood Trump supporters stand up, there’ll be too many to cancel.

The Green Day lead singer is in hot water for dissing Sin City from a concert stage.

“We don’t take [expletive] from people like [expletive] John Fisher. ... I hate Las Vegas. It’s the worst [expletive] in America."

Fisher owns the Oakland Athletics, the baseball franchise picking up stakes and moving to Vegas next season. That apparently got the attention of two Vegas radio stations, which pulled Green Day music from their lineup.

It’s either a silly radio stunt or a sign that the left’s snowflake sensibilities are spreading.

Either way, Green Day shouldn’t be too sore about it. The band indirectly supports censorship via its pro-Democrat posturing. Should the Harris-Walz ticket win come November, radio station bans will seem quaint by comparison.

Elections have consequences. So do presidential endorsements. We’ve already seen Taylor Swift’s brand take a hit following her Kamala Harris embrace. Now we’re learning that Netflix got jolted after its CEO wrote a $7 million check to the Harris ticket.

Netflix subscribers left in droves after Reed Hastings’ move went public. The ensuing cancellations nearly tripled in the U.S. following the announcement.

Maybe Netflix can do some damage control by endorsing a “Tiger King” sequel? Joe Exotic is tan, rested, and ready ... assuming you can sneak cameras into his jail cell.

Forgot about Drea

If you’re gonna burn bridges, you might as well bring all the gasoline.

“Sopranos” alum Drea de Matteo is taking that message to heart. The veteran actress keeps trashing her Hollywood peers as part of an ongoing media tour.

Why? She has no new TV show or movie to promote. She’s just mad as hell, and she’s not gonna take it any more. She’s a former liberal who swallowed the whole red pill in recent months. That explains why she skewered celebrity culture during a no-holds-barred chat with Fox Business.

“I think the American dream is on hold. I feel like Hollywood is dead. The music industry is dead.”

“There’s no cultural, artistic movements speaking out about [modern life]. ... You don’t see fine art — there’s usually protest art about wars and censorship. And we’re stagnant right now.”

The anti-war arts movement is MIA, no doubt. The only rebellious art is coming from the conservative counterculture. Think Five Times August's Fauci-skewering “Sad Little Man” and Five for Fighting's poignant anti-Hamas ballad “OK (We Are Not OK)."

Is this any way to treat a legend?

Clint Eastwood’s new film, “Juror #2,” has been shrouded in secrecy for some time. Now, finally, we have a trailer. Will the movie be released as part of an awards season push? By all appearances, no. World of Reel reports it's set for a limited release on Nov. 1 with no plans for an expansion.

Yet.

Eastwood, 94, has suggested that this will be the last film of his iconic career. His previous effort, 2021’s “Cry Macho,” proved underwhelming. And that’s being gracious.

“Juror #2” offers a solid cast (Nicholas Hoult, J.K. Simmons, Toni Collette, and Kiefer Sutherland) and a feisty premise. A juror in a murder trial realizes the critical role he played in the case before him and how his future could be tied to the verdict.

If anyone deserves to ride off into the cinematic sunset with one final winner, it’s Clint Eastwood.

Justin Bieber postponed tour dates after the left side of his face becomes paralyzed



Pop music icon Justin Bieber recently revealed that he has been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, a rare disorder that has left the right side of his face paralyzed.

The singer took to social media to explain what was going on and why he decided to postpone some of the recent dates on his latest tour.

Speaking to his fans in a prerecorded video, Bieber said, “Hey everyone, Justin here. I wanted to update you guys on what’s been going on. Obviously, as you can probably see from my face, I have this syndrome called Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, and it is from this virus that attacks the nerve in my ear, my facial nerves, and it is causing my face to have paralysis.”

The singer noted that his right is eye unable to blink and that he currently only has partial control over his facial muscles.

Bieber indicated that the right side of his face has “full paralysis.”

He said, “This nostril will not move, so there’s full paralysis on this side of my face.”

The singer also indicated that he postponed recent and upcoming shows because he “physically” is not capable of performing for crowds in his current condition.

Bieber said, “For those who are frustrated by my cancellations of the next shows, I’m just physically, obviously not capable of doing them. This is pretty serious, as you can see. I wish this wasn’t the case, but obviously, my body is telling me I gotta slow down.”

He also made clear that his prerogative is to get better quickly so that he can get back to performing.

Bieber said, “I hope you guys understand … I’ll be using this time to just rest and relax and get back to 100% so I can do what I was born to do, but in the meantime, this ain’t it. I gotta go get my rest on so I can get my face back to where it’s supposed to be. I love you guys; thanks for being patient with me. I’m going to get better. I’m doing all these facial exercises to get my face back to normal.”

Bieber also assured his fans that the condition would pass but that he was unclear how long it would take to make a full recovery. “It will go back to normal … we don’t know how much time it’s gonna be, but it’s going to be okay.

“I trust God, and I trust that this is all for a reason, and I’m not sure what that is right now, but in the meantime, I’m gonna rest, and I love you guys,” Bieber said.

Chelsea Handler says white men 'owe us an apology' and that their 'opinion is irrelevant'



The washed-up comedian and darling of the far-left cultural elite — who previously proclaimed her affections for the disgraced former Governor of New York Andrew Cuomo — believes white men owe society an apology.

While speaking with Samantha Bee on her weekly podcast “Full Release with Samantha Bee,” Handler proclaimed, “Men can be so disappointing.”

She went on to say: “I know it’s not all men, obviously, I have to keep saying that, which is so annoying. My brother says, ‘Chelsea, not all white guys are bad.’ Well, you are for even saying that. Don’t even say that.”

She later contradicted this statement by proclaiming, “No one is saying all white guys are bad. We’re saying there are enough bad ones out there, that as a collective, you guys owe us an apology.”

Handler explained that white men might not individually be responsible for any wrongdoing, but as a collective they have had an “unfair advantage” over women.

She said, “The pattern of behavior [of white men] in our culture, it’s not your fault, but you have to recognize that you’ve had an unfair advantage, and that women have had to pay the price for that, period.”

Handler proceeded to proclaim that when a group that is deemed to have privilege issues an opinion or voices a complaint, their perspective is “irrelevant.”

She said, “It’s like when a white person is arguing about racism, as if they have any idea what the impact or effect is … your opinion is irrelevant.”

This is hardly the comedian’s first foray into wokeness.

In the July 2020, while speaking with NPR, Handler proclaimed that she is “clearly the beneficiary of white privilege” and that she wants to “know how to be a better white person to people of color.”

Handler told NPR that after Donald Trump became President of the United States she sought therapy to “work through her politics, but she ended up dealing with race.”

Handler said, “After taking a look at myself and coming to the realization that my success has a lot to do with my skin color, I wanted to really do something that set an example about how to contribute.”

“Because at this point,” she continued, “It’s not enough to just say you’re not racist. We have to be working to dismantle the system because we are reaping the benefits in exchange for people losing benefits.”
