Democrat leaders blame Trump for 'escalation' as anti-ICE rioters destroy LA

As Democrats continue to stand on the sidelines while one of their most beloved cities burns at the hands of anti-ICE activists, President Trump has been taking action. Instead of supporting the president's decisive actions, those same Democrats questioned his motives and even blamed him for the situation.

Video evidence began to emerge showing just how violent the "protests" were becoming, but the president's critics would not budge. Their rhetoric continues to rise as fast as the on-the-ground tensions.

The war of words began on Saturday as President Trump issued a memorandum permitting 2,000 National Guard troops to reinforce the ICE operations for up to 60 days. The memorandum invoked the presidential powers of 10 U.S.C. 12406 "to temporarily protect ICE and other United States Government personnel who are performing Federal functions, including the enforcement of Federal law, and to protect federal property, at locations where protests against these functions are occurring or are likely to occur based on current threat assessments and planned operations."

Trump repeatedly criticized Gov. Gavin Newsom and L.A. Mayor Karen Bass, both Democrats, on his Truth Social account over the weekend.

“If Governor Gavin Newscum, of California, and Mayor Karen Bass, of Los Angeles, can’t do their jobs, which everyone knows they can’t, then the Federal Government will step in and solve the problem, RIOTS & LOOTERS, the way it should be solved!!!” he wrote.

'Gavin Newsom has shown an inability or an unwillingness to do what is necessary there, so the president stepped in. That’s real leadership, and he has the authority and the responsibility to do it.'

On Sunday night, Trump issued more directives from his Truth Social account, specifically calling for the arrest of those protesters wearing face masks.

“Looking really bad in L.A. BRING IN THE TROOPS!!!” the president posted Sunday night.

“ARREST THE PEOPLE IN FACE MASKS, NOW!” he said in another.

Bass has repeatedly insisted on the right to protest as long as it is peaceful. She wrote in a statement: “But the most important thing right now is that our city be peaceful, and so protests and expressing your ... fears, your beliefs, is appropriate to do, but it is just not appropriate for there to be violence. And I don’t want people to fall into the chaos that I believe is being created by the administration, completely unnecessarily.”

Bass finished her written statement with a focus on the “chaos” that the administration was allegedly fomenting: “It is clear that the Administration is pushing an agenda — there is clearly no plan other than chaos.”

Bass issued another statement on Sunday calling the deployment of “federalized troops ... a chaotic escalation.”

Governor Newsom announced that he would be suing the Trump administration over the deployment of the National Guard. In his formal statement, he called Trump's orders "a serious breach of state sovereignty that seems intentionally designed to inflame the situation."

Newsom likewise called out Trump on Sunday night with a post on X. He said that Trump was "inciting and provoking violence," "creating mass chaos," "militarizing cities," and "arresting opponents." His post included a clip of Trump saying, "If officials stand in the way of law and order, yeah, they will face charges."

"These are the acts of a dictator, not a President," Newsom added.

Investigative journalist and Blaze News opinion contributor Steve Baker replied to Newsom's post, saying, "Oh, Gav, Gav, Gav. Shutting down entire cities and states because of a virus with a 99.75% survival rate was the act of dictators. (No, we will not forget.) Defending property from looters and vandals, keeping highways open, and protecting CITIZENS from foreign invaders is not."

In another post Sunday night, Newsom cautioned against a "trap," presumably one set by law enforcement in the engagement with the protesters: "Los Angeles: Remain peaceful. Don’t fall into the trap that extremists are hoping for."

At 7:31 p.m. Eastern time Sunday night, former Vice President Kamala Harris posted her statement on X in support of the protests and the Democrat response. She criticized the Trump administration for "stoking fear."

"And like so many Americans, I am appalled at what we are witnessing on the streets of our city. Deploying the National Guard is a dangerous escalation meant to provoke chaos. ... It is part of the Trump administration's cruel, calculated agenda to spread panic and division," Harris wrote.

Harris' statement then reiterated the "peaceful" nature of these protests: "And as the LAPD, Mayor, and Governor have noted, demonstrations in defense of our immigrant neighbors have been overwhelmingly peaceful."

At roughly the same time as these statements were being made Sunday evening, a crowd reportedly gathered around an American flag, lit it on fire, and spit on it.

“This is not just a gesture, this is something we need to make real. We need to take down this empire once and for all,” one protester reportedly yelled into a bullhorn at the crowd.

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), on the other hand, defended the president's decision to send in federal troops, citing the governor's "inability or unwillingness" to properly deal with the violence on the streets of Los Angeles.

"I think the president did exactly what he needed to do. These are federal laws and we have to maintain the rule of law, and that is not what is happening. Gavin Newsom has shown an inability or an unwillingness to do what is necessary there, so the president stepped in. That’s real leadership, and he has the authority and the responsibility to do it," Johnson told ABC host Jonathan Karl.

According to a press release on Sunday, U.S. Northern Command announced that close to 2,000 California Army National Guard soldiers had been placed under federal command. Close to 300 members of the California Army National Guard’s 79th Infantry Brigade Combat Team were deployed in Los Angeles, Paramount, and Compton, California. About 500 Marines from 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines at Twentynine Palms, California, are "in a prepared to deploy status should they be necessary to augment and support the DOD’s protection of federal property and personnel efforts."

On Monday morning, Trump defended his decision to send the National Guard to California and seemingly gave a suggested script for Newsom and Bass to read:

We made a great decision in sending the National Guard to deal with the violent, instigated riots in California. If we had not done so, Los Angeles would have been completely obliterated. The very incompetent "Governor," Gavin Newscum, and "Mayor," Karen Bass, should be saying, "THANK YOU, PRESIDENT TRUMP, YOU ARE SO WONDERFUL. WE WOULD BE NOTHING WITHOUT YOU, SIR." Instead, they choose to lie to the People of California and America by saying that we weren’t needed, and that these are "peaceful protests." Just one look at the pictures and videos of the Violence and Destruction tells you all you have to know. We will always do what is needed to keep our Citizens SAFE, so we can, together, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

The riots reached their peak on Sunday when the reinforcements clashed with protesters. The standoff between Trump and the California leadership continues as threats of lawfare run rampant.

Massive mall brawl: 300 teens descend upon shopping mall, run amok, fight — even with cops. TikTok influencer set 'meetup.'

A massive brawl went down at a New Jersey shopping mall Saturday night featuring 300 teenagers running amok, fighting each other — and even tangling with police, WABC-TV reported.

Turns out a TikTok influencer days before told his followers about the "meetup" at the Menlo Park Mall in Edison, the station said — and wouldn't you know the kids just couldn't help themselves and followed the crowd?

'Parents need to be focused on their kids, making sure they're not causing this kind of rowdiness in other towns.'

Edison police said the chaos and violence ensued not long after the teens started filling up the mall around 8 p.m.

"They were having a brawl; they were pushing and shoving," Chief Thomas Bryan with the Edison Police Department told WABC. "When our officers arrived, they actually started fighting with our officers."

You can view a collection of cellphone clips here showing much of the action.

In addition, at the 46-second mark of the above video — and at the 1:15 mark of the YouTube video below — officers are seen holding what appear to be rifles. Blaze News on Wednesday morning spoke with Chief Bryan, who said police originally were called about an active shooter at the mall and that there were "gunshots fired." Therefore, Bryan told Blaze News, police had to come prepared for that, which is why officers are seen with rifles amid the mall brawl.

One officer was injured, WABC said, adding that the throng was so out of control that police from surrounding municipalities responded as well; cops needed about an hour and a half to break things up.

Police told News 12 New Jersey that six teens were arrested for disorderly persons charges as well as failure to disperse; one suspect was charged with assaulting a police officer.

All of the juveniles were eventually released to their parents, NJN said.

Edison Mayor Sam Joshi blasted those same parents during a Monday news conference; NJN said parents likely drove many of their teenage children to the mall for the meetup.

"What are the parents doing? Aren't the parents aware that they're traveling 45 minutes to cause a disturbance within Edison Township?" Joshi asked, according to WABC. "It makes no sense. Parents need to be focused on their kids, making sure they're not causing this kind of rowdiness in other towns."

Edison police also are looking into possible charges for the TikToker who posted the original “meetup” video telling his followers to go to the Menlo Park Mall, NJN reported.

Police told NJN there was no property damage.

Corporate Media’s Constant Lies Bulldoze Paths For Leftist Political Violence

This is especially evident following the assassination attempt against former President Trump on Saturday.

How to survive the end of the world in 6 easy steps

While prepping for minor emergencies is stressful enough, a disaster is outright overwhelming.

That’s why Glenn Beck has made it a lot less complicated and laid out the “6 basic steps to prepping.”

“Most people quit before they even begin, but it’s actually really easy and inexpensive,” Glenn explains, adding, “Start with what the government is now ignoring, the basics.”

The first step is building a solid personal finance and health foundation.

“The best way to insulate yourself in an economic crisis is to get as debt-free as you can. We also need to get into the financial position where we can dedicate a few extra dollars every month to advance our prep plan,” Glenn says.

“We also need to make sure that bad health won’t get in the way of surviving when it’s needed,” he adds, noting that being able to walk a considerable distance and carry what you need is paramount.

The second step is getting your home ready for two weeks of self-reliance. This means you’ll need 15 gallons of water per person, 23,000 calories per person, and sources of light. You’ll also need a gun, ammo, indoor heating, a USB powered fan, and medical supplies.

Another incredible tool is a ham radio, which Glenn plans to learn and get licensed on.

The third step is having a bug-out bag, which includes everything from 32 ounces of water, a tarp, a field knife, and very important: cash.

The fourth step is preparing for emergencies away from home. “Exercise your Second Amendment right to protect yourself,” Glenn says.

The fifth step is practicing the skills it would require to protect yourself, like shooting a gun. Last but definitely not least comes number six, which is sharing and building a base with others.

“Share what you’ve learned, build a base of like-minded friends and family,” Glenn says.

Joe Biden, Not Trump, Is Responsible For Creating Constant Chaos

We've been repeatedly told the problem with Trump is that his administration was nonstop chaos — but you have to be an ignoramus or a journalist to believe that political affairs under Biden haven't become far more chaotic.

‘Destruction by design’: The elites’ playbook ‘to bring Lady Liberty down’

When you take an honest look at America right now – heightened crime, open borders, mass censorship, corrupt media, declining faith in our election system – you might say we’re living in chaos.

But you’d be wrong.

“What's happening today isn't chaos because the definition of chaos is complete disorder and confusion,” says Glenn Beck. “I think this is very well thought out.”

“The current destruction of America that we are experiencing today is by design” – specifically by elites who are “very smart,” “very evil,” and have a “playbook to bring Lady Liberty down to her knees,” Glenn says.

This all started during President George W. Bush’s term, when he decided to “violate the free market to save the free market.”

“Then Obama took it up the next level; Trump then delayed it – slowed it down [and] actually put us in reverse,” and now the current administration and other powerful elites are “finishing the fundamental transformation of America,” he explains.

The raid of Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s most recent $354 million fraud verdict, the seven federal investigations of Elon Musk, and even YouTube’s demonetization of Glenn are just a few examples of the regime’s plan to “purge anyone that they can use policy to stop.”

And yet, just last week, “Biden's own Justice Department declared that they won't be pursuing charges against the president because he was too mentally incompetent to stand trial,” says Glenn, adding that “too brain-dead to answer questions” means he’s “too brain-dead to run the country.”

But most agree at this point that Biden isn’t actually running the country but is serving as a puppet (and not a very good one) for those who are calling the shots.

Which raises the question: Who is steering the ship?

To find out, watch the video below.

Calculated chaos: The blueprint of collectivism

Chaos is a state in which those on the left thrive best, which is why they’re creating it.

They’ve discredited the press, intelligentsia, and the experts — all while forcing us to listen to them.

“How easy would it be to regain the trust of our doctors and our scientists if they would just come out and say, ‘Yeah, we really blew it here and we’re finding the people responsible for it; we know it was Fauci’?” Glenn Beck asks.

However, as Glenn is aware, they won’t do it.

According to him, this is “because they want experts to continue to be discredited by the average, so that way when there’s chaos on the street — do you trust the police? Do you trust the FBI? Do you trust the medical association? Do you trust the media? Who’s coming for you if there’s real trouble?”

And they’re succeeding in creating a world where no one knows whom to trust, which is why Javier Milei in Argentina is the newly elected president.

He seems like an antidote to the chaos, truth in a political landscape shrouded in lies.

“You can’t give left-tards an inch,” Milei told a news anchor. “If you think differently from them, they will kill you. This is the point, you can’t give ... leftists an inch. If you give them an inch, they will use it to destroy you. You can’t negotiate with left-tards.”

Stu Burguiere thinks Milei — while rather crudely spoken — is being dismissed by people at “their own peril.”

Glenn agrees, noting that everything Milei is saying is focused on “standing up against an ideology of collectivism.”

“I hope he does exactly what he says he’s going to do,” he adds.

Spain's socialist regime strikes deal with secessionists to stay in power, sparking unrest

Spain has been roiled in recent days by the leftist regime's controversial scheme to remain in power. Thousands of conservatives, federalists, and other patriots took to the streets of Madrid Thursday to protest Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez's socialist-secessionist pact, which lawmakers and judicial groups have indicated violates not only Spanish law but the separation of powers.

What's the background?

The 2023 Spanish general election in July saw the conservative People's Party make massive gains in the Spanish parliament, leading all other parties — of which there are many — with over 33% of the popular vote. It also grabbed far more seats than the ruling party, the Spanish Socialist Workers Party (PSOE). Despite these gains, the People's Party still did not net enough seats in the Congress of Deputies to form a government, even with the support of other right-of-center parties such as the Vox Party.

In the months since, the country has been in a form of parliamentary limbo, facing the prospect of a snap election should interparty negotiations prove fruitless.

In a scramble to secure another term, Sánchez, leader of the PSOE, struck a deal with Catalan separatists. To ensure that conservatives couldn't form a government and restore order, Sánchez promised Together for Catalonia, also known as Junts, that those who took part in the failed and violent secessionist attempt in 2017 would be granted amnesty — meaning fugitive Catalan leader Carles Puigdemont and others who sought Spain's breakup would get a free pass. In exchange, Junts need only pledge its support for Sánchez's Spanish Socialist Workers Party.

A September poll showed that 70% of Spaniards opposed amnesty for the secessionists. Hundreds of thousands of demonstrators have taken part in anti-amnesty protests in the weeks since.

The Guardian reported that approximately 7,000 people gathered outside the PSOE headquarters in Madrid earlier this week to protest the deal. Some protesters called Sánchez a "criminal" and a "dictator."

Sánchez's socialist-secession union

Junts, the National Basque Party, and the Canarian Coalition confirmed Thursday that they'd back the leftist ruling party, reported Reuters.

This will be enough to provide Sánchez with a majority in the Spanish parliament's 350-member Congress of Deputies.

"We have managed to secure a majority that will make possible the investiture of Pedro Sanchez," said Felix Bolanos, acting minister for parliamentary relations.

Concerning the deal with the separatist faction, Bolanos said, "We have very far apart and different positions, but this deal means we are doing our best to understand each other. Spain and Catalonia deserve that."

Socialist officials have attempted to spin the desperate ploy to stay in power as an effort to address historical grievances, reported the New York Times.

Santos Cerdán, a negotiator with the PSOE, said the deal was "a historic opportunity to resolve a conflict that could — and should — only be resolved politically."

"Our aim is to open the way for a legislature that will allow us to progress and build an open and modern society and a better country," added Cerdán.

Reuters reported that judges and conservative lawmakers have indicated that Sánchez's promise of amnesty violates not only Spanish law but the separation of powers.

In addition to possibly flouting Spanish law, the PSOE will now be at the mercy of the Junts, which will continue to squeeze the socialists for concessions in exchange for its support.

Alberto Núñez Feijóo, leader of the conservative People's Party, responded to the deal, writing, "We are facing a challenge to our democracy that requires the reaction of Spanish democrats, without distinction of ideology. We will use all constitutional resources to counteract those that want to weaken it. Spanish democracy will prevail."

"Sánchez has surrendered to the demands of the separatists. They want the resignation of the Spanish people, but they are not going to have it because Spain does not surrender," said Feijóo.

Patriot protests

Spain's two leading right-wing parties have called for "civil resistance" but stressed the need for peaceful demonstrations, reported the Times (U.K.).

Feijóo, likely mindful of the events of 1936, when socialist-fostered instability drove the nation to civil war, said, "The response to this attack on the foundations of our democracy must start from more democracy and must therefore be firm, but calm. I appeal to responsibility and that any mobilization be peaceful. Nothing and no one should break our coexistence.

The confirmation of the amnesty agreement sparked protests across the country.

While the right-wing protests appear to have been largely peaceful, leftists have not reciprocated.

On Thursday, Alejo Vidal-Quadras, one of the founders of the Vox Party and former People's Party of Catalonia leader, was shot in the head in broad daylight. Vidal-Quadras has been a vocal critic of the amnesty agreement, having written Thursday on X, "The infamous pact between Sánchez and Puigdemont that crushes the rule of law in Spain and ends the separation of powers has already been agreed. Our Nation will thus cease to be a liberal democracy and become a totalitarian tyranny. We Spaniards will not allow it."

He is reportedly in stable condition.
