How cops lured a pastor to city hall to arrest him on charges of unnatural intercourse, statutory rape, and child pornography

A Mississippi pastor has been arrested on accusations of several child sex crimes, according to police.

Christopher Willett, a pastor at the First Presbyterian Church in Crystal Springs, was arrested Tuesday.

Following an investigation, police reportedly executed search warrants on Willett's vehicles, laptops, cell phones, and house.

Crystal Springs Police Chief Robert Thomas revealed how and why law enforcement thought it was necessary to lure the pastor to city hall as a safety precaution.

The Clarion-Ledger reported, "Thomas said police arrested Willett on Tuesday by asking him to come to City Hall under the pretense of discussing other matters. This approach was deemed necessary for safety precautions due to Willett's known possession of firearms in his home."

Thomas said of the arrest of Willett, "There was no fight, no refusal ... no struggle. We put the handcuffs on him, brought him to the police department, and put him in the interrogation room, where he refused to talk."

Willett, an ordained minister of the Presbyterian Church in America, is being held in the Copiah County Jail with no bond.

According to WAPT-TV, Willett was charged with statutory rape, sexual battery, unnatural intercourse, computer luring of a person, and child pornography.

On March 7, the alleged female victim went to the Crystal Springs Police Station with a psychologist — a friend of the victim's family.

Chief Thomas said the victim told investigators that Willet had molested her.

Thomas told the Clarion-Ledger that the alleged child sex abuse began when the victim was 15 years old; the victim is now 19 years old.

Following an investigation, police reportedly executed search warrants on Willett's vehicles, laptops, cell phones, and house.

Law enforcement interviewed the alleged victim a second time for approximately 90 minutes, in which she detailed additional child sex abuse accusations against the pastor. Soon after the interview, police filed child sex crime charges against Willett.

While Thomas noted that the charges are "only accusations," he also stressed that "the evidence we have against him is pretty substantial."

The Clarion-Ledger said it reached out to determine if Willett still is employed at the church but that there wasn't a timely response.

Willett is still featured on the First Presbyterian Church website as a pastor and teaching elder. His bio on the website of First Presbyterian Church in Crystal Springs reads: "Before moving to Crystal Springs to become the Senior Pastor in October of 2020, he held the offices of Pastoral Intern and Assistant Pastor at Pinewood Presbyterian Church in Middleburg, Florida, for 5 years. He then served as the Senior/Solo Pastor of Columbia Presbyterian Church in Columbia, Mississippi, for 3 years."

The church site adds that "Chris served in the U.S. Air Force as a Weather Forecaster, and earned a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies (Humanities, Communication, and Business Management) from New York Institute of Technology, and obtained his Master’s of Divinity at Reformed Theological Seminary, Orlando."

The bio also says Willett married his wife, Jennifer, in 2000. They have a daughter together.

"When he is not studying for and writing sermons, planning ministries, or working around the church and home, he enjoys watching shows with his wife, playing board games and video games with his daughter, reading (fiction, comics, and non-fiction), all things 'Star Wars,' and being a Stormtrooper," the church page says of Willett.

Middle school teacher accused of raping her former student who's now in high school, sending nude video of herself to teen

The latest teacher sex scandal involves child sex crime accusations against a middle school teacher in Utah. The teacher is accused of sending a nude video of herself to her former student and raping the teen boy.

Malori Nielson, 28, on Monday was arrested and charged in 4th District Court with first-degree felony rape and third-degree felony distribution of pornography by an adult.

'When the defendant was confronted about the video, she acknowledged she was the individual in the video and began crying.'

Nielson is a teacher at Delta Middle School. The school's staff page lists Nielson as an "art specialist" but doesn't include her photo.

Last week, the Millard County Sheriff's Office was asked to investigate "suspected unlawful sexual conduct" between Nielson and the student, according to charging documents obtained by KSL-TV, which noted that the student is "now in high school." The student allegedly was in Nielson's class during the 2021-22 and 2022-23 school years.

According to charging documents, the alleged victim informed police that he and Nielson had sex in May 2024. Prosecutors noted that he would have been 15 years old at the time and that Nielson "occupied a position of special trust."

Nielson also is accused of sending a pornographic video of herself to the student through the Snapchat app on or about Dec. 6, 2024.

“It was also reported that the defendant had sent a nude video of herself to the alleged victim, and that several other students had seen the video and had recently confronted the defendant about the video,” said a court document filed by the Millard County Attorney’s Office.

Police interviewed “several friends of the alleged victim who reported they had seen the video and could identify the defendant as the nude individual in the video,” according to charging documents obtained by Gebhardt Daily. “One of the individuals who was interviewed reported that when the defendant was confronted about the video, she acknowledged she was the individual in the video and began crying.”

"The alleged victim had asked the friend to record the video off of the alleged victim’s phone, so that the friend had a copy of the video on his phone," according to charging documents. "The friend reported that he had since deleted the video from his phone.”

The alleged victim told police that “he spent time in her classroom after school hours," even after he was no longer Nielson's student.

The student said Nielson would allow him and his friends into the school gym to play basketball when the school was closed.

The Millard School District announced Tuesday that Nielson had been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation.

"We are fully cooperating with law enforcement and appreciate their thorough and professional handling of the matter," the Millard School District stated. "While the investigation is ongoing, we are unable to provide additional details. However, we want to reassure our community that we remain steadfast in our commitment to student safety and well-being."

Cop — allegedly known as 'Officer Sexy' — arrested on child porn charges

A New Hampshire police officer — allegedly known as "Officer Sexy" — is facing child porn charges, according to reports.

John Giarrusso — a 48-year-old officer with the Seabrook Police Department — was arrested by cops with the Haverhill Police Department on Monday in Haverhill, Massachusetts.

Giarrusco allegedly claimed he was known as 'Officer Sexy' to the 'girls in town.'

Giarusso was charged with felony counts of possession of child pornography, distributing material of a child in the nude, and disseminating obscene matter to a minor, according to court records reviewed by Boston.com.

Giarrusso was reportedly released after posting $100,000 cash bail.

Giarusso purportedly pleaded not guilty to the charges during his arraignment on Monday.

The Seabrook Police Department placed Giarusso on administrative leave.

The Seabrook Police Department said in a statement, "While the Seabrook Police Department adheres to the principle that those accused of crimes are innocent until proven guilty, given the nature of the accused crimes, the Department immediately placed Ofc. Giarrusso on administrative leave."

"The Seabrook Police Department strives to uphold the highest standards of conduct in our staff both on and off duty," the police department stated. "Allegations of criminal conduct against a law enforcement officer are taken seriously and will be dealt with swiftly and appropriately. We will continue to cooperate with Haverhill Police investigators and monitor this case as it moves forward."

The Seabrook Police Department declined to offer more details on the case.

WCVB-TV reported that the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received a tip regarding a potential crime.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children reportedly determined that the IP address and social media accounts were linked to Giarrusso.

Citing the criminal complaint, WCVB-TV reported that Giarusso allegedly uploaded "several videos to the messaging app Kik that show children being molested and raped by adults."

The news outlet added that Giarusso's "IP address and social media accounts linked to his name and date of birth were used in sending and receiving graphic messages about having sex with children as young as 6, according to the ICAC's investigation outlined in a criminal complaint."

WCVB-TV also alleged that Giarrusso "engaged in graphic conversations with other Kik users about arranging to have sex with their wives, young daughters, and stepdaughters," ICAC said.

ICAC said its investigation revealed that during his role as a police officer, Giarrusso participated in fundraising for “child-focused facilities that help abused children heal by coordinating the investigation and treatment of child sexual abuse.”

Citing the Seabrook Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, People magazine reported that Giarrusco allegedly claimed he was known as “Officer Sexy” to the “girls in town."

Giarrusso's wife reportedly declined to give a comment on the situation.

Son of Buc-ee's co-founder arrested again; now hit with child porn possession charge involving 7-year-old girl

The son of a Buc-ee's co-founder has been arrested for the second time in two years and faces a new charge in Texas.

A charge of third-degree felony possession or promotion of child pornography was filed against 29-year-old Mitchell Wasek on Feb. 28. On the same day, Wasek turned himself in to police and was released shortly after posting a cash bond, a spokesperson for the Travis County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to USA Today.

Investigators reportedly found 68 videos of at least 13 males and females in compromising situations at the properties between 2021 and 2023.

The felony charge of child porn possession stems from a September 2023 residential search warrant executed by the Travis County Sheriff's Office at a Spicewood home, according to court documents.

As Blaze News reported in 2023, Wasek was arrested and accused of using spy cameras to record people using toilets, showering, and having sex.

Wasek previously was indicted on 21 felony counts of invasive visual recording, according to the Travis County District Attorney’s Office.

He was accused of secretly recording 13 victims over the course of two years in bathrooms and bedrooms at homes that Wasek's family owned.

According to WRIC-TV, secret cameras were installed at a multimillion-dollar house on the banks of Lake Travis in Austin, which is owned by Don Wasek — the father of the suspect and a co-founder of the Buc-ee's retail chain.

A guest at the lake house — who works in cybersecurity for the Department of Defense — noticed a charging port with a hidden camera that was plugged into the wall of one of the bathrooms, according to court documents.

Authorities reportedly also found cameras installed secretly at a Dallas apartment and a vacation home in Telluride, Colorado, that Wasek’s parents owned, KXAN-TV reported.

An arrest affidavit said Wasek secretly recorded houseguests "using the toilet, showering, changing clothes, and/or having sex."

Police said Amazon records also showed Wasek had ordered "spy cameras."

Detectives with the Travis County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant. The 2023 warrant led to the seizure of several recordings and data storage devices, which then led to the possession of child porn charge against Wasek.

Investigators reportedly found 68 videos of at least 13 males and females in compromising situations at the properties between 2021 and 2023.

Citing records, KXAN-TV reported that during the investigation, the Travis County Sheriff's Office also "found numerous images of sexually explicit material involving subjects who appeared to be prepubescent during a review of the content on the devices."

According to the arrest warrant, a detective submitted the images to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to determine if the alleged victims were previous victims of child sex abuse. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children allegedly confirmed that one of the victims was a 7-year-old girl who had been sexually abused.

Records show that the child victim was linked to an FBI investigation that resulted in a suspect being convicted in April 2014 on two counts of production of child pornography, one count of distribution of child pornography, and another count of possessing the illicit content.

Wasek is scheduled to appear in court for the new charges on March 19.

Trump-hating WaPo Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist, who mocked Republicans as 'groomers,' arrested on child porn charges

A long-time Washington Post cartoonist has been arrested in California on child pornography charges, according to authorities.

According to Sacramento Sheriff's Office records, 49-year-old Darrin Bell was arrested on Wednesday at his south Sacramento home. Bell is being held at the Sacramento County Jail on $1 million bail.

'Donald Trump, like his friend Jeffrey Epstein, is a predator who grooms his victims.'

The Sacramento Bee reported that Bell was charged with suspicion of possession and creating child pornography.

The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office said in a statement that law enforcement was tipped off to possible child sex crimes by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The sheriff's office said an individual had uploaded 18 files of child sex abuse material.

Police said the child porn files led them to an account "owned and controlled" by Bell. Investigators said they discovered a total of 134 child pornography videos on Bell's account.

Detectives executed a search at Bell's home, where they recovered the illicit files but also AI-generated child porn.

Officials noted that this was the first arrest by the Sacramento Valley Hi-Tech Task Force/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force involving the possession of a computer-generated/AI CSAM. The law to charge individuals with AI-generated child porn went into effect on Jan. 1, 2025.

According to a LinkedIn profile, Bell was a member of the Washington Post Writers Group for nearly 20 years until March 2023. The profile shows that Bell is currently a cartoonist at King Features Syndicate — a unit of the Hearst Corporation.

Bell was awarded the Pulitzer Prize in 2019.

The Washington Post featured a profile of Bell in June 2023, which highlighted him having "the talk" with his three young children about racism and police violence against black people.

Bell regularly attacked Donald Trump in his cartoons, including an image depicting the president-elect attempting to grope the Statue of Liberty and several that compared him to Adolf Hitler.

When Trump was re-elected, Bell wrote: "Convicted felon, rapist, con-man and white supremacist Donald Trump decisively defeats Kamala Harris to become the 47th president of the United States. And this time he won the popular vote. The voters in the USA chose this Neo-Confederate president with their eyes open."

Bell said of Trump in February 2024, "He’s a racist, treasonous, autocrat-admiring career criminal and rapist. Being desperate to stop him from getting back into the White House is the normal reaction that every decent person should have."

In October 2020, Bell wrote on the X social media platform: "Donald Trump, like his friend Jeffrey Epstein, is a predator who grooms his victims. He’s grooming his supporters to refuse to accept any election outcome other than a Trump victory. And he’s grooming the rest of us to tolerate whatever he & red states may do to flip results."

In a cartoon titled "The Groomer," Bell drew the GOP's elephant and had the Republican symbol cornering young children and exposing itself to the kids.

In one of his cartoons, Bell compared rabid Trump supporters using the term "groomer" to Nazis.

Grooming is when a sexual predator builds a relationship with typically a child, but it can be an adult, to abuse and exploit them by manipulating them to reduce the risk of them being caught.

Another one of Bell's cartoons spotlights the sexual assault accusations against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

In 2011, Bell wrote on the X social media platform: "To a child, 'rape' & 'rapist' are merely words. If you explain it calmly it's simply a lesson. A valuable one."

Bell is also known for his comic strip “Candorville,” which features three childhood friends.

Bell is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 17.

Sadistic doctor coerced 10 children to 'cut, choke, and hang themselves'; 13-year-old girl found dead: Feds

A Florida man is accused of several child sex crimes, including producing child pornography and coercing approximately 10 children across the country to "cut, choke, and hang themselves," according to federal prosecutors. One of the alleged child sex abuse victims — a 13-year-old girl — was found dead after allegedly communicating with the suspect.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida said in a statement that 59-year-old Stephen Andrew Leedy of St. Petersburg was indicted on December 20 and charged with three counts of production of child sexual abuse material and two counts of coercing or enticing a minor to engage in sexual activity. If found guilty on all counts, Leedy faces a maximum sentence of life in federal prison.

'Leedy very clearly engaged in this predatory behavior with approximately ten minor victims across the country.'

Court documents said Leedy is a palliative care doctor in the Tampa Bay area. He allegedly used the online username “maximumuncle#9112” to "sexually exploit and victimize approximately ten minors online."

Federal prosecutors said Leedy contacted the minors online and instructed the children to "produce sexually explicit images of themselves and directed them to cut, choke, and hang themselves."

In November 2021, one alleged victim — the 13-year-old girl — was found dead after reportedly hanging herself in front of her phone "in a manner consistent with instructions Leedy had previously provided her," according to court documents.

A search of the girl’s cellphone revealed messages between her and the online account with the username "maximumuncle#9112."

Federal prosecutors said Leedy never revealed his true identity and "maintained a black screen to further conceal his identity" during video chats.

“Through social media conversations and investigative means, law enforcement confirmed Leedy’s ownership over the account used to encourage minors to engage in sadistic and sexual behavior,” prosecutors wrote. “Minor victims have been interviewed, identified themselves within conversations, and confirmed the horrific acts Leedy instructed them to do. Leedy very clearly engaged in this predatory behavior with approximately ten minor victims across the country.”

“The nature and circumstances of the offenses charged are extremely serious,” prosecutors said in their motion for detention, according to Law & Crime. “Leedy directed the three minor victims named in the indictment, along with approximately seven additional minor victims, to produce child pornography while on video calls with him to satisfy his own sexual deviant interest in children. The conversations continually revolved around his control over the minor victim, commenting on how ‘obedient’ they are, and asking at least one minor victim to refer to him as 'my Lord.'"

"Everything that Leedy instructed these minor victims to do was either physically or mentally detrimental to the minor victims," prosecutors said.

Leedy's defense attorneys, Bjorn Brunvand and Lucas Fleming, told the Tampa Bay Times that their client "adamantly denies the charges that have been filed against him in federal court."

"It is particularly important in moments like this when someone is being accused of very troubling allegations, that we afford him the presumption of innocence,” the attorneys said in a statement. "We will be entering a not guilty plea at the earliest opportunity and look forward to vigorously defending Dr. Leedy in court."

Leedy's wife, Lynda Leedy, reportedly has been a chief administrative officer on the Juvenile Welfare Board of Pinellas County for 10 years.

"The arrest and allegations came as a complete shock to all, including his wife,” the board said in a statement.

Colorado School Administrator Fired Amid Child Pornography Allegations Found Dead

David Weiss, the fired Colorado school administrator at the center of a criminal investigation kept secret by authorities, was found dead, and the county sheriff’s office finally clarified that he was under investigation for allegedly possessing child pornography materials. Weiss, the former chief of staff of Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS), was reported dead by […]

'House of horrors': Male couple convicted of sexually abusing their adopted boys will spend the rest of their lives in prison

A Georgia couple have been convicted of sexually abusing their two adopted boys and will spend the rest of their lives in prison.

In August, 34-year-old William Zulock pleaded guilty to six counts of aggravated sodomy, three counts of aggravated child molestation, two counts of incest, and two counts of sexual exploitation of children.

'These two defendants truly created a house of horrors and put their extremely dark desires above everything and everyone else.'

In October, 36-year-old Zachary Zulock pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated sodomy, three counts of aggravated child molestation, two counts of incest, two counts of sodomy, three counts of sexual exploitation of children, and two counts of pandering to a person under 18.

Last week, Judge Jeffrey L. Foster sentenced both males to serve 100 years in prison followed by life on probation. Because of the severity of their crimes, neither of them will be eligible for parole for the entire 100-year sentence.

Alcovy Judicial Circuit District Attorney Randy McGinley said in a statement, “I am grateful for the hard work of so many to obtain an appropriate outcome in this case. The hard work of law enforcement put an end to the abuse suffered by the victims, and this resolution will help the victims continue their process of healing. William and Zachary Zulock will now spend 100 years in prison without parole. This all but guarantees that the victims will not have to worry as they grow older about their abusers being free."

McGinley added, "It cannot be stressed enough how important it is for our society to have individuals willing to adopt children in need. But anyone who does so and then abuses those children deserves extremely harsh consequences and decades in prison. The sentence imposed not only appropriately punishes these defendants for their repeated selfish actions but also sends the message to the public that such actions will never be taken lightly."

The district attorney said the fathers of the adopted children "created a house of horrors."

"These two defendants truly created a house of horrors and put their extremely dark desires above everything and everyone else," McGinley proclaimed. "However, the depth of the defendants’ depravity, which is as deep as it gets, is not greater than the resolve of those that fought for justice and the strength of the victims in this case. The resolve I have seen from these two young victims over the last two years is truly inspiring."

Townhall reported that the house had a "secret," windowless room the size of a closet hidden behind a movable bookcase in the home office. A relative reportedly said the house felt like something out of "a horror movie."

As Blaze News reported in August 2022, authorities in Georgia received a "cyber tip" that a man was downloading child sexual abuse material. On July 27, 2022, detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division of the Walton County Sheriff's Office obtained a search warrant and raided a home in Loganville — a town about 35 miles northeast of Atlanta.

"During the subsequent interview with the suspect, it was discovered that he was, in fact, receiving/collecting [child sexual abuse material] and that a secondary suspect lived in Walton County," the Walton County Sheriff's Office said in a statement. "Detectives were told that this secondary suspect was producing homemade child sexual abuse material with at least one child who lived in the home with the perpetrator."

The suspect — Hunter Lawless — allegedly informed authorities that he had received the illicit photos and videos from Zachary Zulock. Lawless allegedly agreed to fully cooperate in any prosecution of the Zulocks and later pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation of children and was sentenced to 20 years.

The next day, investigators conducted a search on a second home in nearby Oxford, which is the residence of William and Zachary Zulock. During the search of the home, police officers determined that the two adult males who lived at the residence were "engaging in sexually abusive acts and video documenting this abuse," according to the Walton County Sheriff's Office.

The Alcovy Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office said, "A thorough analysis found videos of multiple incidents of the defendants committing sexual abuse in different parts of the house. Cell phones were analyzed which contained graphic images and videos of the abuse as well as graphic text and social media messages about the sexual abuse."

The New York Post reported that Zachary bragged about the sexual abuse, writing in a Snapchat message to Lawless: "I'm going to f*** my son tonight. Stand by." He allegedly then sent photos of the boy being sexually abused.

As Blaze News previously reported, the 17-page indictment said the couple "allegedly performed oral sex on both boys, forced the children to perform oral sex on them, and anally raped their sons."

The two males were arrested in August 2022 and accused of using their two adopted children to make child pornography. At the time of the arrest, the young victims reportedly were in third and fourth grade.

Investigators said the Zulocks had adopted two young boys a few years before their arrest.

Authorities said the victims are "now safe" after the Walton County Division of Family & Children Services took the young boys into care.

The predator behind Michigan's 'Epstein Island' — and his connection to the Oakland County Child Killer

Long before Jeffrey Epstein's private Caribbean retreat, there was another island where the most depraved acts against children took place in absolute secrecy.

And like Epstein, its owner was a rich and powerful member of the elite hiding in plain sight.

Keenan’s research points to the possibility that those involved in the North Fox Island ring may have played a role in the killings.

His name was Francis D. Shelden, a Yale graduate and member of an Ann Arbor, Michigan, family. He also had penchant for violating little kids.

Shelden was the owner of North Fox Island, a secluded location in Lake Michigan used as a base for a child exploitation ring during the 1970s. Much like Epstein, Shelden projected an image of philanthropy and boasted his influence and connections to mask his predatory actions.

It helped that North Fox was remote enough to be essentially lawless territory, known as a place where the rich could engage in criminal activities without fear of reprisal. Shelden used his sizable wealth to insulate himself from prosecution for years despite mounting evidence of his involvement in a large-scale sex trafficking ring.

Money talks, after all — especially when it comes to matters of corruption and coercion.

The Snow Killings

In "The Snow Killings," Marney Rich Keenan connects the unsolved case of the Oakland County Child Killer, who terrorized Michigan in the 1970s, to the sinister events taking place on North Fox Island.

The Oakland County murders, also known as "the Snow Killings," took place between 1976 and 1977. They involved the abduction, torture, and murder of four children: Mark Stebbins, Jill Robinson, Kristine Mihelich, and Timothy King. These abductions left the community paralyzed with fear, and the discovery of the victims’ bodies in snow-covered locations gave the case its eerie name.

The investigation into these killings uncovered links to a darker, more insidious network of child exploitation. Under the guise of running a charitable organization, Brother Paul’s Children’s Mission, Shelden and his associates lured young boys to the island under the pretense of offering them summer camp experiences. In reality, Shelden's island was a hub for child pornography production, where boys were sexually abused on camera for distribution.

Keenan's extensive exploration reveals key figures who were central to the exploitation ring. Although Shelden was the mastermind behind the island’s operations, he didn’t operate alone. Beasts like him rarely do.

His associate, schoolteacher Gerald Richards, was deeply involved in recruiting boys for the camps and filming the abuse. Richards’ arrest in 1976 for molestation opened the door for investigators to begin uncovering the operations on the island.

Sadly, Shelden managed to escape prosecution by fleeing the country before authorities could apprehend him. Another key figure, Dyer Grossman, was similarly implicated in the abuse. But just like the ringmaster, he disappeared as the investigation began to deepen.

No justice for victims

The nature of the child exploitation on North Fox was far-reaching, extending beyond Michigan’s borders. The materials produced on the island were distributed across state lines and even internationally, making the ring part of a larger, more organized network of child exploitation. Richards, who cooperated with authorities after his arrest, provided key insights into how the island operated and the extent of the abuse.

As for the Oakland County Child Killer, after decades on the case, it remains unsolved. But Keenan’s research points to the possibility that those involved in the North Fox Island ring may have played a role, either directly or indirectly, in the killings.

The parallels between Shelden and Epstein highlight a disturbing reality. Specifically, how the top 1% appear to play by a different set of rules, or no rules at all. Meanwhile, their victims — children whose lives were brutally cut short or permanently altered — were failed (and continue to be failed) by a system designed to protect the rich rather than seek justice.

The bigger picture

This brings us to a rather important point that really needs to be emphasized.

The United States, despite its claim to being the greatest country in the world, offers its most vulnerable citizens frighteningly little protection. Across the country, a child goes missing or is abducted every 40 seconds. That’s more than 2,000 kids every single day.

Each year, around 840,000 children are reported missing. In the land of opportunity, where well over a million pedophiles reside, children become fodder for the most perverted people imaginable. Their suffering finds itself buried beneath bureaucratic incompetence, unearned privilege, and deafening silence.

Remember, behind every statistic is a shattered family, a broken home, and a desperate plea for answers that may never come. Epstein is dead. Shelden evaded justice. The Oakland County killings were never solved.

And yet, the system that allowed these fiends to flourish remains unchanged. The machinery that protects the predators and forsakes the prey grinds on, indifferent to the suffering left in its wake. Laws may shift, investigations may stall, but the core dysfunction — the rot at the heart of it all — persists.

Pastor hit with 100 counts of possessing, distributing child pornography

An Arkansas pastor has been arrested and is facing 100 counts of crimes related to possessing child porn, according to police. The pastor has reportedly served in numerous roles as a youth pastor and fostered dozens of children.

Arkansas State Police said in a statement that its Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received two cyber tips from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children regarding a pastor.

'They were blessed to be foster parents to 76 children in 4 years ...'

Special agents with the state police executed a search warrant on Sept. 25.

During the investigation, agents reportedly found evidence that James Vincent Henry, 43, had possession of child pornography. The pastor allegedly obtained or distributed child porn on online messaging apps such as Snapchat and Kik.

Authorities obtained an arrest warrant, and Pike County sheriff’s deputies arrested Henry on Oct. 15.

Henry was charged with 100 counts of possession, viewing, and distribution of child pornography, and he's being detained at the Pike County Detention Center.

Henry is the pastor of the Crossroads Assembly of God Church in Delight, and his profile was still on the church's website Friday afternoon.

The site notes that Henry and his wife have been married for 12 years and have three young children.

"They love to serve others and to fellowship," the profile says of the couple.

The profile indicates that Henry "has had the privilege to serve as youth pastor at Lacey Assembly of God, McGehee First Assembly of God, Mountain Pine First Assembly of God, [and] Newsong Church in Centerton, Arkansas."

His wife "served in many roles as youth pastor, children church teacher, house mom, and other places she needed to fill in."

The site states that the couple served as foster parents at the New Beginnings Children's Home outside Centerton.

According to the church's site, "They were blessed to be foster parents to 76 children in 4 years and then they moved to the transitional living program for young ladies 18-25 that needed some help getting life skills they need to be successful in life."

The Facebook page for the Crossroads Assembly of God Church appears to have been set to private or was deleted as of Friday afternoon.

In June, a former youth pastor at four Texas churches was arrested by U.S. Marshals for alleged child sex crimes. Luke Cunningham faces charges of sexual assault of a child and aggravated sexual assault. Baptist News Global reported, "Prosecutors argued Cunningham is a violent offender who slapped and choked his victims into unconsciousness. They also claimed he is a manipulator and serial groomer who ensured his victims went on mission trips and camps, including out-of-state and international programs that were held in New Mexico and Guatemala."
