‘Unburdened by what has been’: The red wave that saved America

Over the past few months, Americans everywhere had called on each other to make the results of the 2024 presidential election “too big to rig” — though many were skeptical that a feat of that nature was possible.

But it turns out it was.

The red wave was unstoppable, and Donald Trump won every single swing state.

“I mean, from the beginning, it kind of looked like there's no path for her. There’s no path,” Pat Gray of “Pat Gray Unleashed” comments. “You didn’t want to believe it immediately because I didn’t want the beat down at the end.”

“But you know what, we are finally unburdened by what has been,” he adds.

The prospect of a Donald Trump win became clearer and clearer as the night went on, and one clip of Jake Tapper from CNN illustrates this perfectly.

As Tapper stands looking at an electoral map, his colleague shows him that there was currently no state in America where Kamala Harris was outperforming Biden in 2020.

“Literally nothing?” Tapper says, shocked, staring at the empty electoral map. “Literally not one county?”

Gray, Keith Malinak, and Jeffy couldn’t help but burst into laughter watching the clip.

“He hates Trump,” Gray comments. “It’s made him unreasonable, a guy who used to be somewhat of a real journalist,” noting that Tapper now has Trump Derangement Syndrome, like so many others.

While Tapper is not alone in his condition, the guys aren’t sure that Kamala supporters actually support Kamala enough to do anything about it.

“There might be a little bit of upheaval, but no one really feels the need to go out and burn the streets down because of Kamala Harris not winning,” Jeffy says.

Did Jill Biden FORCE Joe Biden to run again?

Between his empty stares and incoherent babbling, there’s no question that President Biden’s performance in the CNN Presidential Debate shocked the nation.

While it revealed just how unqualified our president is to be president, what came after might have been more revealing — when Jill Biden had to escort her husband off the stage and praised him, condescendingly, for answering questions.

In a video from CNN, Donald Trump is seen easily leaving the stage after the debate, but Joe is left standing there, waiting for his wife to slowly help him down the very short set of stairs.

Then, when Joe and the first lady take the post debate stage together, it gets worse.

“Joe you did such a great job, you answered every question, you knew all the facts,” Jill said in an infantilizing tone. “And let me ask the crowd, what did Trump do?”

“Lied!” she then yelled, pointing at the crowd.

The Biden crowd may have cheered in return, but those viewing the situation with a critical eye have been left wondering if the first lady may be the real driving force behind Biden’s re-election campaign.

Glenn Beck is one of them.

“I believe that Jill Biden was the driving force behind Joe making this decision to run again and that there were people in the White House and people in the Democratic Party that knew that it was going to be a disaster,” Glenn says.

Biden’s apparent mental decline has long been a point of conversation — even on the left — but now it’s become impossible to ignore.

Even, maybe, for Jill Biden.

“She’s running a little dog-and-pony show where Joe is just kind of, you know, still looks like he was hit by a freight train, and she’s spinning this whole thing,” Glenn says. “I think this was a Democratic inside job to get her to have so much pressure, not him, her, to feel the pressure that he has got to go.”

Jill Savage ROASTS Biden after Trump crushes him in first debate

Jill Savage ROASTS Biden after Trump crushes him in first debate

On Thursday night, the nation saw President Joe Biden at his very best. And it couldn’t have been worse.

He stuttered and stumbled incoherently through his talking points, making himself look weaker and less capable than ever.

“Joe Biden — they were making him the best that he possibly could be tonight. They locked him away at Camp David for seven days; they were doing everything in their power to make sure that he was going to come out on the top of his game tonight, and this is what we got,” says Jill Savage.

“Obviously, President Biden lost his train of thought a number of times; he rambled; he was incoherent,” adds BlazeTV contributor Delano Squires, adding that Trump surprised him in a good way. He “was energetic but disciplined,' and “even when President Biden froze that first time, [Trump] could have easily referenced Sleepy Joe or something like that, but he didn't.”

The debate moderators — CNN’s Dana Bash and Jake Tapper — pleasantly surprised Squires as well.

“They actually did what most people want journalists to do, which is to ask questions and let the other person ... respond,” he tells Jill and Blaze Media editor in chief Matthew Peterson. “They didn't make themselves the stars of the show.”

For Peterson, “we have to emphasize Trump’s discipline.”

“He showed a discipline that most people consider rare,” he says, adding that at times, it seemed like Trump even “[felt] bad for [Biden].”

But there’s one thing that has Peterson angry about the debate. To find out what it is, check out the clip above.

Glenn Beck: Our country is in ‘clear and present DANGER’ after last night's debate

The CNN Presidential Debate between President Biden and former President Trump went worse than anyone could have imagined.

“Last night I watched something I’ve never seen before,” Glenn Beck comments, horrified. “This country just continues to get more and more bizarre.”

The horror show began as soon as Biden opened his mouth, when Jake Tapper asked him his first question about inflation.

“When he opened up his mouth, and that came out,” Glenn says, mocking Biden’s mousey, lost tone, “it was breathtaking.”

However, Glenn notes, “That’s probably the clearest he was all night.”

The debate only continued to get worse, with Trump at one point not responding to a point Biden made about the border, because he couldn’t understand what he said.

“It is the most restrained I have ever seen Donald Trump,” Glenn says.

While Glenn finds it “terrifying” that “this is the weakest our president has ever appeared,” he does find one thing more terrifying than that about the debate.

“I am so angry today, that I haven’t heard one single person on television or in the political realm talk about the country. They’re all talking about an election. ‘How do we replace him before the convention? How do we get him off the ticket? How do we get this man away from the football?’” he says.

“Do you know what our enemies were thinking last night? This country is in more danger, clear and present danger, than we have been, I believe possibly, in my lifetime,” he continues.

“What the hell is wrong with us?” he asks. “We are in more trouble, not because of Joe Biden, we’re in more trouble because people are not recognizing the danger that is right in front of us."

2024 CNN Presidential Debate: 'The country’s over, and I need a drink'

Between Biden’s incoherent bumbling and Trump’s redirections — there’s no doubt that the 2024 CNN Presidential Debate was one for the history books.

Stu Burguiere calls it “one of the most incredible nights” he’s “ever witnessed,” noting that it was an absolute “disgrace.”

“The world superpower supposedly has a man like that leading it. We looked weak. We looked pathetic, and honestly, it was a disgrace,” he continues, before asking Sara Gonzales for her take on the debate.

“Well, the country’s over, and I need a drink,” Gonzales says, floored by what she’d just seen. “I feel a lot of anger, I feel a lot of sadness, I do feel a lot of fear watching that,” she continues, adding that “we still have seven more months of this guy not really making decisions but appearing to make decisions.”

“The stakes have never been higher for Donald Trump to win this. I am very scared for my country if he does not,” she adds. “We simply cannot afford four more years of this. We just can’t. I don’t know if we have a country left to survive after that.”

While the left has maintained that Donald Trump is erratic and should not be handling foreign conflicts — it seems that Biden's cognitive decline is far, far worse for foreign policy than the orange villain the Democrats created in their heads.

“I mean, that was the thought and then you look at the state of the world now with all the problems that we’re having, and you look at this guy potentially being the one the head of it, I mean, it’s just, I never have felt more terrified, honestly, for the future of our country,” Stu says.

While Stu and Sara are terrified, Steve Deace is hopeful.

“I think that it’s way more likely the 25th Amendment is going to get invoked than Joe Biden will be re-elected. There is no way he will be re-elected,” Deace tells Sara and Stu. “Their entire coalition is in existential peril. If you keep him on the ballot, you risk tainting your entire party with essentially going out for the next six months and telling people you didn’t see what you all just saw.”
