'Elon Musk-ophobic,' left-wing troll Dean Obeidallah requests Musk's US immigration application, says he'll push to strip citizenship if Musk lied

Leftist Dean Obeidallah said that he has filed a request to obtain Elon Musk's U.S. immigration application and that he will push to have Musk's citizenship stripped if he finds any falsehoods in the documents.

Obeidallah has said that Musk would need to consent in order for the records to be disclosed and that he is trying to troll him.

"As a lawyer Im going to do research to see if @elonmusk in any way lied on his application for US citizenship. I'll be making a FOIA request for his immigration application. If he lied anywhere on application we will move to strip him of US citizenship. Stay tuned," tweeted Obeidallah, who hosts a SiriusXM radio show.

"Just so everyone knows the facts, while I did make a FOIA request for Elon Musk's immigration application he has to consent to the request before I can get the docs. If he consents, I will share the file. If he refuses to consent then we must ask: What is Elon hiding?!" he wrote in another tweet.

"I'm not xenophobic-I'm Elon Musk-ophobic," he tweeted.

\u201cI formally made a request via FOIA today for Elon Musk's immigration application documents. I will let you know what I hear back. The application may be 100% fine with no misinformation or lies. Then again... We will see:\u201d

Musk, a billionaire business magnate who recently acquired Twitter and previously indicated that he wanted the platform to be a forum for free speech, said in a recent note directed toward Twitter advertisers that the platform cannot turn into "a free-for-all hellscape."

Obeidallah has called for advertisers to shun the social media platform. "Dear advertisers: please do not advertise on Twitter. There are plenty of other platforms to reach people. Thx," he tweeted.

Obeidallah has indicated that the records request is a way to troll Musk.

"If Musk can troll us I can certainly troll him. Musk’s Morons are really angry at me for doing this. Good," Obeidallah tweeted.

"It will be denied in its entirety for privacy reasons absent demonstration of an overriding public interest in disclosure," Bradley P. Moss tweeted in response to Obeidallah's announcement that he had made the Musk-related records request.

"It won't be released without his consent. It was never about the document. It was only about the trolling," Obeidallah replied.

Radio host Dean Obeidallah claims 'The GOP is a white supremacist, fascist movement that has rejected democracy and embraced both autocracy and violence'

Dean Obeidallah, who hosts an eponymous radio program on SiriusXM called "The Dean Obeidallah Show," is drawing a comparison between the GOP and Nazis.

"If you ever wondered what it felt like to live in 1930's Germany, you're getting a sense of it today. The GOP is a white supremacist, fascist movement that has rejected democracy and embraced both autocracy and violence. Today's GOP is how democracies die," Obeidallah tweeted.

"Reading Winston Churchill's book 'The Gathering Storm' about the rise of Nazi Germany. As he notes there were numerous times the world could've stopped the rise of the Nazis but instead simply hoped for the best. History is SCREAMING at us we can't hope for the best with this GOP," he wrote in another tweet.

Obeidallah indicated that Republicans must be destroyed in order to save the country.

"Re-upping this because it triggered the fascists on the right. They think they can silence us. They have confused us for the old Democrats. We don't want common ground with these Republicans - we want to DESTROY Them to save our beloved Republic. Period," he wrote.

Some on social media pushed back against Obeidallah's claims.

"These people have been saying this stuff since before I was born. Meanwhile, they're the ones constantly wanting to tear up or ignore the Constitution, abolish the Senate, pack the Court, & take one power after another from elected bodies & insulate them from popular account," tweeted National Review Online senior writer Dan McLaughlin.

Media Equate GOP With Taliban

MSNBC talking heads have compared the Republican Party to the Taliban because of the GOP's opposition to abortion, a comparison that has drawn outrage from veterans and pro-life leaders.

NBC legal analyst demands AG Merrick Garland arrest, charge Donald Trump for events that never happened

An NBC News and MSNBC legal analyst demanded Friday that Attorney General Merrick Garland preemptively arrest former President Donald Trump for events that have not happened, what the analyst referred to as "insurrection 2.0."

What are the details?

Speaking with liberal radio host Dean Obeidallah, legal analyst Glenn Kirschner claimed that Garland must arrest Trump, alleging the former president is a "public safety issue."

"Don't we have to move out and charge Trump because he's out there continuing to push 'The Big Lie,' continuing to grift his base, and in a very real sense recruiting the foot soldiers for insurrection 2.0?" Kirschner said.

"I think nothing would make Donald Trump happier than insurrection 2.0," Kirschner added without evidence.

Kirschner, a former U.S. Army prosecutor, continued:

Here's my thing: Every time I was involved in a covert investigation in the grand jury — for example going after a gang in DC — every single day, we had to make the assessment: Do we continue to investigate covertly and let these guys run around on the streets of Washington, D.C., potentially hurting others? Or have the scales tipped and is now public safety such a concern that we have to take down the investigation and make arrests and go public? I maintain that even though Merrick Garland needs time to investigate, and we're still sort of in the early stages of a criminal investigation, public safety is at risk.

Kirschner went on to claim that special prosecutor Robert Mueller's investigation proved Trump committed crimes, and any judge would "10 times out of 10" immediately approve an arrest warrant against Trump.

However, Kirschner neither provided evidence to back his allegation that Trump is guilty of crimes, nor did he substantiate his claims that Trump is recruiting "foot soldiers" for another riot at the U.S. Capitol.

"That's the part that really irks me to no end because there are crimes for which Donald Trump can and should be arrested and indicted right now, but instead we are leaving him out there to grift his base to continue to push the 'Big Lie' and to recruit foot soldiers for insurrection 2.0," Kirschner said. "That's what has to be addressed now!"

But what is the truth?

After more than two years of investigating Trump and his presidential campaign, Mueller concluded in 2019 that neither Trump nor his campaign associates committed prosecutable criminal activity related to Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Mueller, however, found that people close to the Trump campaign did lie to the Justice Department and Congress.

Additionally, Trump has not been implicated for any crimes related to the storming of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, nor has any prosecutor, including Garland, indicated that Trump will be charged with any crime related to the events of that day.

Democratic congressman says US justice system — which 'feasts on black folks' — should treat Trump, Republican lawmakers like 'negroes'

Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.) said he believes that President Donald Trump and Republican lawmakers supporting his bid to dispute the results of the 2020 presidential election should be treated like "negroes" have been treated by the criminal justice system in the United States.

Those lawmakers, according to Johnson, include Republican Sens. Ted Cruz (Texas) and Josh Hawley (Mo).

He also said that the Democratic Party ought not turn the other cheek to the perceived misdeeds of President Donald Trump and the Republican Party at large.

What is he talking about?

According to a Tuesday report from Mediaite, Johnson made the inflammatory race-related remarks Monday on SiriusXM's "The Dean Obeidallah Show."

Obeidallah told Johnson that he believed it would be "detrimental to our party" that for the sake of unity, the Biden administration simply said, "'Trump did some bad things, but look forward.'"

"It would be so destructive to our party if that is the way we go," he added.

Johnson responded, "You can't let this behavior slide, you can't ignore it and hope that it's not going to happen again. You see what's shaping up for the future with guys like Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz who are looking to turn the Trump Republican Party into the Trump Republican Party on steroids."

The Georgia Democrat added that conservative Republican lawmakers will be certain to quickly learn that they "will not be allowed to get away with what Donald Trump did."

"We have got to make sure that those who come after Donald Trump know that they will not be allowed to get away with what Donald Trump did, that they will be held accountable," he insisted. "They will be treated, yes, like 'negroes' — they will be perp-walked to the jail, handcuffed not in front of them, but behind them. They will be booked, fingerprinted, have to make bond, and have to hire a lawyer just like everyone else and go through the system."

Johnson explained that the U.S. justice system "feasts on black folks."

"[F]or once it needs to turn its attention to what this man has done to turn our country into something that we just don't need to let it get to," he explained. "He can't be allowed to get away with it because if we allow him to get away with it, there will be others who will try to do the same thing, and we don't even want them to think about doing what Trump has done."

What's a brief history on his remarks?

Johnson's remarks come on the heels of introducing a resolution to censure Trump over his call with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.

The president in recent days has come under fire for a recently published phone call with Raffensperger.

In a reported hourlong phone call, Trump appeared to repeatedly urge the Georgia secretary of state to "find" enough votes to help reverse the state's election results.

In the measure, Johnson has called on Trump to "retract and disavow this unlawful and unconstitutional behavior" and to recognize President-elect Joe Biden as winner of the 2020 presidential election.

"President Trump's actions and statements on this call demonstrate an attempt to willfully deprive the citizens of Georgia of a fair and impartial election process in direct contravention of both federal law and the laws of the state of Georgia," Johnson's resolution added.
