Democrats are desperate to 'Europe' our health care system



European-style health care mandates are the latest fringe policies from the Democratic Party and the Democratic Socialists of America. Packaged as “Medicare for Ya’ll” and “universal care,” these extreme plans from politicians like James Talarico and Abdul El-Sayed push control of health care to the government and away from patients and their providers.

With Talarico recently walking back some of his more controversial statements, Texans should take a hard look at how he is missing the mark on health care policy and urge him and state politicians to keep radical, European-style health care out of the state House and out of Congress.

We don’t have to look far to know what happens when government takes control of our health care.

The dangers of European-style health care policies are currently playing out across the pond. The National Health Service in England reports that waiting lists for patients have ballooned to over 7 million cases, including patients with serious and life-threatening medical conditions like cancer and heart disease.

Nearly 80,000 patients were removed from the waitlist between 2024 and 2025, not because they received care but because they died.

The promise of improved care simply doesn’t bear out when European-style policies are put into practice, yet Democrats in America are doubling down on more government intervention rather than innovation and reform.

When government boards and committees control health care decisions, there is no free market competition and no incentive to innovate. It takes nearly 20 months in Europe before patients can access a new drug once it is approved.

Why would we import these failed policies to our country?

In 2020, Americans watched as presidential contenders proposed and then abandoned European-style proposals after failing to articulate a clear vision for how the system would be implemented.

Democrats are currently recycling those same bad ideas for the midterms, only this time they are fueled by the socialist craze to force government on every aspect of American life.

Americans should send a message that a government-controlled health care monopoly is not the answer. Already, bloated government health care programs fuel waste and abuse in the American health care system. The runaway 340B program is the perfect example.

Launched more than 30 years ago as a way to help safety-net providers and hospitals serve low-income patients, the program has gradually ballooned into a revenue stream that allows hospitals to purchase drugs at steep discounts and then charge insurers full price.

The Government Accountability Office has warned about insufficient oversight and improper use among hospital participants. There’s no accountability mechanism to ensure that the savings are used for charity care or passed on to low-income patients. As the program has grown, so has the waste, fraud, and abuse.

The Trump administration has made efforts to tackle the rampant abuse in the system, but Congress needs to act in order to enact lasting change. The Democrat response is more government control and health care expansion, bringing us one step closer to Europe’s harmful health care policies and further away from meaningful reforms.

States must reject attempts to import failed European health policies and government control into our health care system. Texans and Michiganders should push back against the socialist agenda that glorifies waitlists, price controls, and drug rationing over patient care.

We don’t have to look far to know what happens when government takes control of our health care. Americans need to send a clear message during the midterms: Don’t Europe our health care.

Tommy Robinson: Britain sacrificed its children out of fear of being called ‘Islamophobic’



Widespread child exploitation has been going on for years in the U.K., and British activist Tommy Robinson has been at the forefront of sounding the alarm — though authorities still turned a blind eye.

Robinson points to notorious cases in cities like Rotherham, arguing that fears of being labeled racist or Islamophobic prevented officials from confronting abuse committed by grooming gangs.

“My hometown, Luton, is a labor stronghold,” Robinson tells Freitas. “Always has been. But let me tell you in 2013 in my town, because I’ve got three children, so I was trying to work out the future for my town, future for my country,” Robinson tells BlazeTV's Nick Freitas.

And when Robinson looked at the “projected growth forecast” for “demographical change in Luton by 2030” on the government’s own website, he found that the Pakistani and Bangladeshi communities are projected to increase by 70% to 77%.


“White and black by 1.2[%] to 1.4[%],” he tells Freitas.

“So what do the Labour Party, your Democrat Party, know?” he asks. “They know that white and black are irrelevant. The future lays with these Pakistani and Bangladeshes.”

“We don’t want to upset them, right?” he asks.

And in another city, Rotherham, Robinson explains there’s only a 3.7% Muslim population.

“There’s none there. Now in that 3.7[%] Muslim population, we had 1,400 children raped,” he says.

“Now the police officer in charge during all these rapes who covered it up, what’s his job now? Well, he’s in charge of counterterrorism,” he continues.

“Now Muslim men make up 3% of the British population. They’re responsible for 90% of the convictions of groups of men who rape kids. Thirty percent of the men convicted of raping children in gangs are called Muhammad,” he adds.

And as the Muslim population in America grows, Robinson warns, “You’ve got to talk about this, and you have to understand this. You have a choice with immigration, America.”

Michigan’s Senate primary just exposed an uncomfortable truth about the Democrat Party



Once again, the Democratic Socialists of America have proven that the Democrat establishment can’t outspend its grassroots army.

On August 4, progressive candidate Abdul El-Sayed narrowly won the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate over Rep. Haley Stevens, after many DSA members, local chapters, activists, and progressive figures closely tied to the DSA — including Bernie Sanders, AOC, and Rashida Tlaib — mobilized heavily on his behalf.

BlazeTV host Nick Freitas says El-Sayed’s victory reveals something deeply unsettling about the direction the Democratic Party is headed.

“The establishment probably could not have picked a better candidate for what we would call establishment-style Democrat politics in Michigan than Haley Stevens,” says Freitas, highlighting her “long history with Michigan” and her work on both Hillary Clinton's and Barack Obama’s 2008 campaigns.

“She really appealed to the things that you would expect from kind of working-class voters in Michigan … and yet she still lost,” he adds.

According to Freitas, there are “two things going on here.”

“One, you see the machine Democrat Party recognizing that it's probably going to be a lot harder to win with [El-Sayed] in a swing state, and then I think what you also see is this resurgence of far-left politics … within the Democratic Party that is absolutely dedicated and willing to walk in lockstep,” he explains.

Even though Stevens was by no means the “moderate” she was portrayed to be — exemplified by her progressive positions on ICE, abortion, and gun control — Freitas says her classic establishment résumé and deep-pocketed donors made her an easier candidate for the Democrat establishment to get behind.

But in the end, it didn’t matter how much money the Democrat machine spent on her. El-Sayed still came out on top because the DSA is where the momentum and energy is right now.

“What this confirms is that the DSA is every bit as strong as we anticipated it to be, and I think what this demonstrates is that at least going into the midterms, DSA is going to be riding this wave of victories that they've had within primaries,” says Freitas.

“The fact that Abdul Sayed thought this is going to be great for me, and theoretically was, should tell us everything we need to know about where the energy is within the Democratic Party right now,” he continues.

The Democrat establishment, Freitas explains, is failing to beat the DSA not because D candidates are actually true moderates — on the contrary, they’re usually still far-left on core issues — but because the DSA is “very, very honest” about its objectives, which appeals to voters.

“And then to the extent that [the DSA is] losing, they're only losing in places where they don't have sufficient groundwork or they haven't had the sufficient time to work in order to build up a new generation of voters that hate America every bit as much as they do. So what do they settle for?” he asks.

“Well, they settle for candidates who still want to fundamentally change and alter the United States, who still want to allow for mass immigration, who still want to abolish ICE, who still want to abolish prisons or defund the police, but are simply smart enough to not say so out loud,” he answers.

Add it all up and the conclusion regarding the current Democratic Party is bleak: “You have the DSA … you have progressive candidates who pretty much want the same things, but are smart enough to know that you can't say everything that you want out loud … and then you have this ever-dwindling portion of ‘moderate’ Democrats.”

EXPOSED: Bill Maher calls out Fauci for trying to rewrite COVID history

The infectious disease “expert” has shifted his story on gain-of-function research and the lab leak theory — but longtime Democrat Bill Maher isn’t letting him off the hook.

“He was caught in actual lies,” Maher said. “He was telling people — and the big issue to me is the origin of this, which is very important. How did it start? And he was telling people up front when it first began, ‘It was from the wet markets. That’s a conspiracy theory if you say it escaped from the lab.’”

Maher pointed out that the release of Fauci’s diary by Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) has proven that he “knew better,” and he blames not only Fauci but the extremely partisan split on how to handle the pandemic.


“If we weren’t so partisan, we could just say gain-of-function research,” he said. “Obama told him not to do it. I would always have said don’t do it. But it’s a viable debate. It’s a reasonable debate. Should we soup up something that’s bad, this bacteria, to study it?”

“We could have had that debate in a rational way,” he continued. “We didn’t want to do that because why? Because we make everything about race.”

Maher recalled that during the pandemic, no one was allowed to say it “escaped from the lab because that was the racist point of view” and would mean “the entire Asian continent would have been somehow complicit in this because it escaped.”

“It was ridiculous, but that is where they went,” he added.

“He’s starting to see the Democrat Party for what it is,” he adds.
