Transgender actor rages after claiming Emma Roberts misgendered him: 'What the f*** did you just say?'

A male actor who identifies as a woman claimed that actress Emma Roberts misgendered him on the set of the popular television show "American Horror Story" and went on an expletive-laden tirade about the alleged incident on social media.

Angelica Ross is a 42-year-old actor who began taking hormones and transitioning genders at the age of 19. Ross was working with Roberts, 32, on the popular horror-drama series and claimed that Roberts was transphobic toward him during a minor spat on the set.

According to AV Club, Roberts and director John Gray were engaged in a conversation when Roberts was described as semi-jokingly complaining that Ross was being mean to her.

The director allegedly tried to defuse the situation by saying, “Okay, ladies, that’s enough. Let’s get back to work,” to which Roberts allegedly replied, “Don’t you mean lady?" referring to herself as the only biological woman in earshot.

Ross made the accusations during an Instagram live video in which he described becoming enraged at Roberts while she allegedly disguised her laughter.

“I’m looking at her dead ass in the camera like, ‘What the f*** did you just say?' And I’m standing there looking her dead ass in the damn thing, and I’m, like, trying to process the f*** she just say. ... As she walked away, my blood is boiling. Boiling,” Ross said.

"I didn't speak to that bitch the entire time after that. We had scenes together, and I never spoke to her."

Ross also released a series of emails from producer Ryan Murphy that discussed a version of "American Horror Story" that would be "starring black women." Upset that the project did not materialize, Ross posted supposed screenshots of the exchange.

"Remember your idea about a HORROR season starring black women? Well, I’m doing it. Not sure of the story yet, but we will start a writers' room in the fall. Along with you, who are the four women I should get?" Murphy allegedly wrote in an email.

“YAAAAAASSSSS!” Ross responded before suggesting a list of actresses who may or may not have been actual females.

Ross later claimed on social media that his response was "left on read" [sic] by the producer, while including a video about "white people who went out of their way to present 'diversity.'"

Disney is being accused of hating homeless people over advertisement for new 'She-Hulk' superhero series

A marketing ploy for the new "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" Marvel superhero series on Disney+ is backfiring after social media users noticed that the advertisement was placed on public benches with features meant to ward off the homeless.

The new show features a lawyer superhero related to the Hulk character and has been characterized as a workplace comedy.

However, many on social media did not find it funny when they saw the anti-homeless bench with an ad for the show at the world premiere at the El Capitan Theater in Los Angeles, California.

Photographs of the ad were posted on social media.

The "anti-homeless" bench was also featured in a poster for the streaming series.

Many registered their anger on social media over the bench with extra armrests intended to deter homeless people from sleeping atop of them.

"Why does the she hulk bench have anti homeless architecture," asked one tweet that garnered over 141k likes.

"Yo if aliens attack, she hulk will be there to punch them and throw them through your house, but don't you DARE sleep on her bench when you're homeless," joked another tweet.

"I can’t even imagine how soulless the executives that demanded the anti-homeless bumps on the bench for the she-hulk poster have to be," replied another user.

"People just now realizing the despite all the talking points and pandering that Disney is still a soulless corporation that hates poor people," read another response.

"Glad to see she hulk is protecting us from societies REAL villains! Homeless people!" read another popular reply.

Homelessness has reached crisis levels in California where previously liberal residents paying for million-dollar homes have had to contend with crime and trash plaguing many of the cities.

The new show premiered on the Disney+ streaming service on Thursday.

'Too bad they went all white!': Actor John Leguizamo complains 'Super Mario Bros.' reboot has no 'Latinx' actors in lead roles — and gets taken to task

Longtime actor John Leguizamo — who identifies as "Latinx" on his Twitter bio and starred as "Luigi" in the original "Super Mario Bros." movie from the early 1990s — complained about the "all white" cast of the movie's 3-D animated reboot and said no "Latinx" actors are in lead roles.

"So glad #superMariobros is getting a reboot! Obviously it's iconic enuff," he wrote in his Monday post. "But too bad they went all white! No Latinx in the leads! Groundbreaking color-blind casting in original! Plus I'm the only one who knows how to make this movie work script wise!"

What are the details?

For the reboot — set to hit theaters Dec. 21, 2022 — Chris Pratt will play Mario, Charlie Day will play Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy will play Princess Peach, Jack Black will play Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key will play Toad, Seth Rogen will play Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen will play Cranky Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson will play Kamek, and comedian Sebastian Maniscalco will play Spike, according to Deadline.

"Each voice actor was cast for their ability to capture the unique spirit of their character," a news release about the movie read, the outlet added.

How did folks react to Leguizamo's tweet?

Philly Voice writer Michael Tanenbaum noted that Leguizamo's "all white" criticism "isn't accurate" due to the castings of Michael-Kay and Richardson — and that Taylor-Joy "spent the early part of her life in Argentina" and "identifies as a white Latina."

Here's what other observers had to say:

  • "Mario and Luigi are Italian. So why are you crying about it?" one commenter asked. "Are you afraid that people will forget that mess of a movie you were a part of? Please stop it."
  • Another commenter replied to the aforementioned post with the following: "TY for saying that. As [an] Italian/Sicilian (we are not white, but brain dead common people think we are) Mario and Luigi are NOT LATIN. And shame on him for using the word Latinx. I'm also not offended they got 2 white guys to voice them as long as they can pull off the accent."
  • "I love you man, and your Luigi rocks, but as a 'latino' myself, stop saying 'latinx.' It sounds so dumb," another user noted. "Besides, Mario, Luigi, and Peach are already defined in the games. No reason to force race into this."
  • "Look everyone! Someone needs attention. Why does it have to be about race? Especially since all they are doing is voice acting," another commenter wrote. "You don't even know the auditioning pool they had to pick from. I would guess they picked the best suited."
