Watch: Is the White House’s 2023 Christmas video a piece of art or another woke disaster?

The White House’s annual holiday video debuted just a couple of days ago. Some have praised the musical performance, which includes colorful costumes and tap dancing, as whimsical artistic expression, while others have criticized it for being yet another woke, virtue-signaling catastrophe.

Before you watch the video and cast your vote, here’s some background information on the group that choreographed and produced the video – an organization called Dorrance Dance, which is a New York City-based tap-dancing company.

The Dorrance Dance “website is filled with all of the same types of Ibram X Kendi themes that we see so much on the left,” says Stu Burguiere.

One particular section of the website is titled, “Educate yourself.” The description underneath reads: “For those who are investigating or have questions about white privilege, systemic racism, white fragility, and anti-racism for the very first time: antiracismforbeginners.com answers all of the basic questions in a very straightforward way.”

Another section of the website “shows you how to sign up for Black Lives Matter” and an organization called “Showing Up for Racial Justice.”

“What do you expect, though?” asks Stu. “You're not gonna get a conservative group who's there with the Bidens.”

According to Stu, however, neither a Republican nor a Democratic administration should be spending resources on “pomp and circumstance.”

The government has “a lot of stuff they should be doing,” he sighs. “Skip all the dancing and just put up a text – ’Happy Holidays.’ That's enough.”

Now it’s your turn – watch the White House’s annual holiday video and cast your vote in the comments.

Christmas dance video shared by Jill Biden savaged as commenters draw 'Hunger Games' comparison

First lady Jill Biden shared a video featuring a performance by the Dorrance Dance tap dance company, and people on social media have been mercilessly panning the spectacle.

"A bit of magic, wonder, and joy brought to you by the talented tappers of Dorrance Dance, performing their playful interpretation of The Nutcracker Suite," the first lady's social media posts read. "Enjoy!"

But far from enjoying it, many commenters skewered the performance. Some drew comparisons to "The Hunger Games."

"The chestnuts are not getting roasted but Jill Biden is for her Hunger Games Capital District Christmas approach this year. Brutal comments," Mollie Hemingway wrote.

"Evidently the White House has become an elaborate set for the next Hunger Games movie," GOP Sen. Eric Schmitt of Missouri tweeted.

"Thanks it's the worst thing I've ever seen," Matt Walsh tweeted.

"This is a crime against Christmas," Stephen Miller declared.

"Okay, I'm onboard with impeachment," Frank J. Fleming tweeted.

"What fresh Hell is this?" BlazeTV host Steve Deace tweeted.

"Watching this is making me racist and homophobic," quipped Rob Smith, who is black and identifies as gay.

"Why would Jill Biden do this to us? This is flopping harder than Bidenomics," Jason Rantz tweeted.

In a note on the dance company's website, Michelle Dorrance describes herself as "a white tap dancer with Black cultural ancestors in a society that privileges white people and whiteness."

"It is from this place of white privilege that I invite you to join me in lifelong antiracism work. Understanding how deeply embedded white supremacy, racism, and colonialism is in our culture is paramount to understanding our role (as white people) in perpetuating it, and embracing our job to dismantle it. That understanding is incredibly important to me as a human being and to me as a tap dancer," Dorrance wrote.
