'Aw, they missed?' Woman fired for viral TikTok joking about assassination attempt against Trump

UnitedHealthcare worker Alison King took to TikTok to express her disappointment following the most recent attempt on President Trump’s life — not because the violence has gotten out of control, but because the alleged assassin missed.

“You know we’re cooked as a country when my first reaction to hearing the news about Trump’s attempt was, ‘It was probably fake.’ Like immediately I was like, ‘Oh, that wasn’t real. Probably fake.’ And the second was, ‘Aw, they missed?’” King said in the now-viral TikTok.

“It’s just so odd to me. I guess because I don’t have the zombie lib brain. I just couldn’t imagine a world in which I would ever want someone to die and then on top of that ... posting a video of me publicly bragging that I want someone else to die, is just so foreign to me,” Gonzales comments.

King was swiftly punished for her comments, which resulted in her firing.

In a statement, a spokesperson for UnitedHealthcare responded to King’s comments, saying, "The person who made comments online about Saturday night’s incident at a Washington event where President Trump and many other political leaders were gathered is no longer employed by the company."

“United Healthcare ... this woman’s old boss was assassinated ... shot in cold blood, and she still isn’t like, ‘Ah, maybe I shouldn’t be talking about people getting assassinated. Maybe I shouldn’t be cheering that on,’” Gonzales comments.

King posted another video in response to her firing, saying, “I am already reaping the consequences of what I said. I lost my job in an economy that’s already incredibly difficult, and I want to move forward.”

“Do I regret what I said?” she asked. “Absolutely. I shouldn’t have posted it on the internet. OK? It was a joke. I do not condone violence, and I would never hurt anybody, OK. That being said, I just got a letter in the mail. They have an address on it, so I’m going to have to report it to the authorities.”

“It’s a picture of my house, and it says, ‘Alison, how does it feel? You’ve been doxxed in karma. Cause and effect is coming.’ With a smiley face. All I have to say is that we’re living in an incredibly scary time. Please be careful what you post on the internet. People are insane,” she continued.

“Somehow, I am being held more accountable for something stupid I said on the internet than people who send stuff like this and the president of the United States who has been spewing violent rhetoric his entire presidential career,” she added.

“Now we’re back to ‘it’s Donald Trump’s fault’ ... you don’t see your own fault in that?” Gonzales asks.

“I’m sorry, Alison,” she adds, “in the real world, there are consequences.”

They attacked her on camera — then played the victim

The Department of Justice has filed federal charges against three family members who allegedly assaulted Turning Point USA’s Frontlines reporter Savanah Hernandez while she was reporting on an anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement protest in Minnesota — and she couldn't be more thrilled.

“I never thought that I would say it in my life, but thank you to the FBI. I am very grateful for them. This is the same organization that we watched, you know, weaponized against innocent American citizens over the last four years with the prior administration,” Hernandez tells BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales on “Sara Gonzales Unfiltered.”

“So to see the FBI actually utilize to bring forward justice against violent criminals is very refreshing to see. The DOJ was very swift in handling this and bringing it before a grand jury so that these indictments could be brought forward,” she continues, adding, “And I’m very grateful for that.”

Gonzales is also grateful to the federal government for stepping in.

“If this had happened under the Biden administration, never in a million years, in my opinion, would they have gone to the lengths that this DOJ and FBI have gone to,” Gonzales says.

“Oh absolutely, Sara,” Hernandez agrees.

“This is not the first time I’ve been this violently mobbed, by the way, but it is the first time the FBI and the DOJ have actually cared about it and paid attention to it,” she says, pointing out that the old attitude of the federal government is what she believes “led to the assassination of Charlie Kirk.”

“Just the complete ignorance of how violent the left-wing is and also the fact that these left-wing jurisdictions have allowed it to happen again and again and again to the point where these protesters think that they can get away with this type of behavior,” she explains.

However, while there’s ample video evidence of the family allegedly assaulting Hernandez, they still went on a media tour to play the victim.

In one interview, the father, who was allegedly caught on video shoving Hernandez to the ground, told One America News that his family is “getting doxxed.”

“It’s not just us. It’s my sons, their wives, like people who had nothing to do with anything. It’s a little overwhelming and makes me second guess even living in this country to be honest with you,” he added.

“He’s like, ‘I just pushed a woman for literally no reason. A woman who was leaving, I just pushed to the ground and somehow I’m the victim,’” Gonzales mocks.

“I guess this is the fascist America that the left-wing is talking about,” Hernandez says, adding, “You can’t even brutally assault a woman who is not threatening you anymore without getting the feds involved.”

Mamdani’s ‘tax the rich’ stunt backfires as billionaires push back

New York City Democrat mayor Zohran Mamdani’s latest political stunt has wealthy investors signaling they may rethink their commitments to the once-flourishing city — just as BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales predicted.

“They’re not going to just sit there and take it. They’re going to do something about that. What do you think these millionaires that don’t even live there full-time are going to do?” she asks, showing a video Mamdani released revealing his plans for the rich.

“When I ran for mayor, I said I was going to tax the rich. Well, today, we’re taxing the rich. I’m thrilled to announce we’ve secured a pied-a-terre tax, the first in New York’s history. This is an annual fee on luxury properties worth more than $5 million whose owners do not live full-time in the city,” Mamdani explained in a promotional video.

And they’re not happy — especially billionaire Ken Griffin.

Mamdani “doxxed” the CEO of Citadel in his video, pointing out the location of his apartment.

“I don’t think this should come as a shock to anyone. He wasn’t very happy about being name-checked in this little, you know, ad. And so, Ken Griffin now is pushing back after Mamdani featured ... his $238 million penthouse in the tax-the-rich video,” Gonzales explains, pointing out that in a letter to Citadel’s employees, the COO subtly hinted at a possible re-evaluation of its New York City investment.

“Because you see, as the story goes, he was planning on investing $6 billion into a development project. And now he’s like, ‘You know what? I don’t know if I want to do that. I don’t know if I want to continue investing my money in a city that just wants to tax me into oblivion,’” she continues.

“Who could have possibly predicted that that would be the final result of Zohran Mamdani just trying to get the rich to pay for all of his free stuff, which as we know isn’t even free? So, things are not going well on that front,” she adds.

President Sends National Guard To Stop Los Angeles Insurrection

President Trump announced the deployment of 2,000 National Guard soldiers in Los Angeles County amid firebombing protests against ICE.

Woke WSJ reporter's past raises suspicions about her doxxing of DOGE staffer

Marko Elez briefly served as a staff member on the Trump administration's Department of Government Efficiency advisory group. Elez resigned Thursday after a brand-new reporter at the Wall Street Journal dredged up some unsavory social media posts from a deleted X account and pressed the White House about the 25-year-old's connection to the remarks.

While Elez might ultimately be afforded a second chance — a possibility raised by Vice President JD Vance, Elon Musk, and others — critics are now giving a second look to the resume of the woke reporter who pursued his professional demise.

Keen observers noted that Katherine Long, who started working for the Wall Street Journal only last week, previously worked for agencies that are now undergoing significant reform as the result of changes implemented by the Trump administration, in some cases at the urging of the DOGE.

Based on her past work experience, some critics have suggested that Long's hit piece on Elez might be something more than just her latest doxxing effort, perhaps instead a form of "retaliation" on behalf of the scandal-plagued government forces with which she once rubbed shoulders.

Before hounding conservatives and Republicans for Business Insider and then working for the New York Times and the Journal, Long worked at the State Department; at the Bureau of Political-Military Affairs, the State Department's extension to the Pentagon; and for the U.S. Agency for International Development, apparently through the American Institutes for Research.

In a profile on Fearey, Long said, "Before matriculating at Columbia, I'd been working for the federal government, managing USAID projects in Central Asia."

Mike Benz, executive director of the Foundation for Freedom Online, noted, "Literally the only resume point missing is CIA."

"Katherine Long's resume looks a lot like a regime change operative," wrote Allum Bokhari, the managing director at the Foundation for Freedom Online.

'She should be fired immediately.'

Some critics have also seized upon the Heritage Foundation's Oversight Project's Friday indication that the "Business Insider number Katherine uses is linked to an Ok.Ru (Okra) account under the pseudonym Katya Khashimova" as a potential sign that the reporter has concealed her true identity. However, when previously writing for the Columbia Journalism Review and initially when writing for the Seattle Times, the woke reporter went by Katherine Khashimova Long.

Blaze News reached out to Long for comment but did not receive a response by deadline.

Amid the speculation about Long's motivation and background, Elon Musk called her "a disgusting and cruel person" and stated that "she should be fired immediately."

Long noted in her article for the Journal that after co-founding a company to help connect high-schoolers with mentors to improve their chances of going college, then working at SpaceX, Starlink, and X, Elez went to work for the DOGE. The newly minted Journal reporter made sure to note that the Musk-run outfit "has radically upended the federal government in the weeks since President Trump's inauguration, including by largely dismantling the U.S. Agency for International Development."

Without making any mention of her past relationship to USAID, Long went on to detail a handful of unsavory tweets posted to X by an account deleted in December that supposedly belonged to Elez.

In July, the user whose handle was allegedly @marko_elez but changed to @nullllptr, wrote, "Just for the record, I was racist before it was cool."

"99% of Indian H1Bs will be replaced by slightly smarter LLMs, they're going back don't worry guys," the user reportedly wrote in December, presumably referring to large language models along the lines of ChatGPT.

' I don't think stupid social media activity should ruin a kid's life.'

In September, the user reportedly wrote, "You could not pay me to marry outside of my ethnicity."

After Long asked the White House about the deleted account, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt indicated that Elez, who did not respond to the Journal's requests for comment, had resigned from his role.

Elon Musk posted a poll Friday morning, asking whether the DOGE should bring back the "staffer who made inappropriate statements via a now deleted pseudonym?" With over 385,000 votes tallied, 78% of participants in the polls suggested that Elez should be brought back.

Vice President Vance wrote in response to the poll, "I obviously disagree with some of Elez's posts, but I don't think stupid social media activity should ruin a kid's life. We shouldn't reward journalists who try to destroy people. Ever. So I say bring him back."

"If he's a bad dude or a terrible member of the team, fire him for that," added Vance.
