Texas Christian University now offers 'The Queer Art of Drag' as an ACADEMIC course
First it was reading books to children. Then it was dressing in religious garb. Now it’s become a subject worthy of academic study.
If you’re a student at TCU, you can earn actual college credit for taking a class titled “The Queer Art of Drag,” which is, unsurprisingly, offered by the Department of Women and Gender Studies.
In this class, students create their own drag persona and explore how such personas “contribute to queer world making.”
“Oh, that’s good,” Pat Gray sarcastically remarks. “We’re trying to make a queer world.”
“Any time any school has a department of gender studies, weird things are going to be going on in that department. Every time,” he continues.
The course is taught by Dr. Nino Testa, whose drag name is Maria von Clapp, and is designed to “[challenge] dominant norms and systems of oppression.”
“Tell me this is only one [college credit],” Keith adds.

Alex Stein confronts armed Antifa members guarding Texas bookstore hosting transgender storytime for children: 'These are the real cowards'
Political provocateur Alex Stein stirred the pot at a Texas bookstore that was hosting a "transgender storytime" for children. Stein confronted armed Antifa members guarding the bookstore in Denton, Texas.
Patchouli Joe's Books & Indulgences store hosted a "transgender storytime" for children on Saturday afternoon.
The bookstore promoted the event on its website and Facebook, "This FREE event takes place during National Transgender Awareness Week, and will be hosted by Patchouli Joe's Books & Indulgences – a family-owned, LGBTQ-friendly, independent bookstore in the heart of Denton, Texas."
The bookstore promised to read three children's books about "gender identity, belonging, and friendship, and celebrate diversity, literacy, and community at this all-ages event!"
Similar recent promotions in Texas, such as the "Drag the Kids to Pride" event at a Dallas gay bar and an all-ages drag bingo event at a church in Katy, ignited controversy and protests. The transgender storytime also sparked contentiousness. Antifa members stood outside the Patchouli Joe's bookstore to guard against any disruptions.
BlazeTV host Alex Stein confronted and mocked the Antifa members holding guns outside the transgender storytime event for children.
Stein got near the faces of two alleged Antifa members dressed in black bloc attire and mocked them.
Stein stated, "We're at a bookstore here in Denton, Texas, where they're trying to do drag queen story hour."
"These are the real cowards, they're hiding behind their masks, they got their little guns," he continued. "They think they're so tough."
Stein sarcastically told the rifle-wielding men, "I'm so happy you're protecting these children so they can get indoctrinated and go in there for transgender storytime, you're such a good American."
At one point, a man wearing a face mask and holding a sign that read "We're here, we're queer" got in the face of Stein while he was walking on the sidewalk. Stein used his left arm to create distance between the two, but the protester fell to the ground.
At the end of the video, Stein said he "loved" the demonstrators and was "empathetic" towards them.
Stein has evoked strong emotions at previous public events.
Stein was spit on while promoting a "provocative comedy night" event at Penn State University with Gavin McInnes.
He proposed the idea of transitioning the iconic Big Tex mascot to a non-binary figure.
Stein rapped a pro-vaccination song at a Dallas City Hall meeting.
The conservative comedian caused a stir when he purposely objectified Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, also known as AOC.
Stein's upcoming BlazeTV show "Prime Time with Alex Stein" will debut in the Spring of 2023.

Drag queen who's a middle school teacher adds sexual innuendo during Drag Queen Story Time at dog shelter: 'Everybody loves a big bone'
A drag queen who's an Alabama middle school teacher added sexual innuendo during a recent Drag Queen Story Time at a dog shelter, telling the audience in off-the-cuff moments that "everybody loves a big bone" and "all men have meat on the brain.”
What are the details?
James Miller — a teacher at Mountain Gap Middle School in Huntsville — operates the Facebook page "Madge D. Ivine (Miss Majesty Divine)," where he "frequently posts pictures of himself attending drag events such as Drag Queen Story Time," Fox News reported.
He apparently also has a TikTok page.

As of Thursday morning, the Facebook page in question contains only one photo of an individual in drag and indicates the user is from Heidelberg, Germany. But the individual in the Facebook image matches an individual featured in several videos on the TikTok page.
Libs of TikTok first reported about Miller, noting that he appeared as Miss Majesty Divine at a Sept. 24 Drag Queen Story Time at Hard Knocks Rescue & Training, Inc. — an animal shelter in Huntsville — and that the reading was livestreamed and posted to the Hard Knocks Facebook page.
Video shows Miller reading a passage from a children's book about a dog finding a bone in the sand; after he reads "and it's a big one" from the text, Miller quickly adds a comment of his own: "Everybody loves a big bone."

Toward the end of the livestream, he tells a male mutt — which apparently was hungry for a hot dog — that "all men have meat on the brain.” Immediately after that suggestive remark, Miller asked, "We’re not still live, are we? Oh, we are."
TheBlaze has reported extensively on drag queen story hours, which are geared toward children and typically take place in libraries. Video showed at least one child in the audience at the dog shelter drag queen event.
What happened next?
Libs of TikTok posted its story Wednesday, noting that it reached out to "the school and the superintendent requesting comments about Mr. Miller’s disturbing behavior as well as some questionable public social media posts and received no response."
Fox News Digital also said it reached out to Miller and the school for comment. Mountain Gap Middle School is part of the Huntsville City Schools district.
A few hours after the Libs of TikTok story went live, Miller posted a video on TikTok addressing the issue, saying the conservative outlet "doxxed" him and is "attacking all my school's websites and the board's websites. I really have no comment for anybody, so people need to stop askin'." He added that Libs of TikTok "gave my principal the 'or else' and made a threat ..."
