Trump admin drops charges against whistleblower who exposed transgender operations at Children's Hospital in Texas

The Trump administration moved to dismiss charges against a doctor whistleblower who exposed transgender surgeries being performed in secret at a Texas children's hospital.

Texas surgeon Dr. Eithan Haim obtained documents proving that Texas Children’s Hospital was providing gender transition services in secret and passed them on to conservative journalist Christopher Rufo in order to stop the illegal procedures.

'Do we try to fight back, or do we submit to the ideology and try to make it all go away?'

The Biden administration responded by filing charges against Haim for violating HIPAA privacy statutes. On Friday, Haim celebrated the announcement that the charges would be dismissed.

"WE DID IT!!!! WE WON!!!!!!!" he wrote on social media.

Haim had spoken to Blaze Media co-founder Glenn Beck about the charges in June.

“[My wife and I] had a decision to make,” Haim told Beck at the time. “Do we try to fight back, or do we submit to the ideology and try to make it all go away? We knew that we were going to have kids someday, and what kind of world would we be delivering them into if there’s not men and women in this world who are willing to sacrifice in order to deliver them to a better future?”

The surgeon had faced 10 years in prison if he had been convicted and fines of up to $250,000.

“You raise [children] to have the virtues to have a good and fulfilling life,” but “this government is criminalizing those virtues; the justice system is protecting criminals going after the innocent; the medical system is creating sickness and going after the healthy; the education system is miseducating people. It’s like every institution is doing the opposite of what it’s meant to do,” Haim continued.

Critics noted that Haim was charged with illegally obtaining sensitive health information but not with actually disclosing that information. Both Haim and Rufo were careful to redact identifying information in order to protect patient privacy while exposing the illegal practices at the hospital.

“I have maintained from day one that I have done nothing wrong. We’re going to fight this tooth and nail, stand up for whistleblowers everywhere,” said Haim outside of a courthouse in June.

Now it looks like he has won the fight.

Republican Rep. Dan Crenshaw of Texas praised the decision on social media.

"Huge victory: The era of DOJ weaponization against whistleblowers—like @EithanHaim, who is saving children from radical transition surgeries—is over. I’m proud to have led this effort in Congress," he wrote.

Judge Dismisses Lawfare Against Doctor Who Exposed Secret Trans Procedures On Kids

A judge dismissed the Department of Justice’s case against a doctor who uncovered secret transgender procedures on kids, assenting to a motion from President Donald Trump’s Department of Justice. U.S. District Judge David Hittner dismissed the partisan lawfare today against doctor Eithan Haim, who exposed Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH) for performing hidden transgender interventions on […]

Doctor Who Exposed Trans Procedures On Kids Pleads For Trump To Stop DOJ From Jailing Him Within Days

The DOJ has been prosecuting Eithan Haim for exposing child transgender interventions. He may soon face jail, despite Trump's executive order ordering the end of Biden's lawfare.

This doctor warned against child transition — now the DOJ is ruining his life

Former Texas Children’s Hospital surgeon and whistleblower Eithan Haim is facing massive legal challenges after exposing the hospital for secretly providing “gender-affirming care” to minors.

Now, his wife, Andrea Haim, is speaking out on his behalf since Eithan is under a “defacto gag order,” or a “non-gag gag order.”

“The largest children’s hospital in the world was lying to the public about the existence of its transgender program for children. As a result of his whistleblowing, the Texas legislature passed FB14, which was the law banning transgender care for minors in the state of Texas,” Haim tells Allie Beth Stuckey of “Relatable.”

Eithan has been indicted on four felony counts for what Andrea calls “completely made-up and baseless violations of HIPAA,” which they’ve been fighting since June 2023.

“Some of his colleagues had told him that they were implanting puberty-blocking devices into children as young as 11 years old,” Andrea explains, adding, “The fact that they were doing it on kids who claimed to have gender dysphoria was really surprising.”

“We started to look into it further, and the first thing I did was Google Texas Children’s transgender program. It didn’t exist on the internet,” she continues. “The only thing that you could see was a statement from March of 2022, in which Texas Children’s Hospital stated unequivocally that they were stopping their program due to a Texas attorney general opinion that these procedures may be considered child abuse under Texas law.”

“But they never admitted that they restarted it. So it was surprising to hear that these procedures were still going on,” she says.

That’s when Andrea took it upon herself to join a Zoom conference in January 2023, which was hosted by the Baylor College of Medical Ethics.

“What we learned is that Texas Children’s had an extensive transgender medicine program. They were implanting puberty blockers, and prescribing puberty blockers on children as young as 11 years old. And they started doing this only three days after they said that they paused or stopped the program,” Andrea explains.

“They had the doctors who were part of this program on there, and those doctors said that they were prescribing puberty blockers to children, they were telling parents that they needed to agree or consent to getting children on puberty blockers,” she continues, noting that the doctors used the line, “Would you rather have a living son or a dead daughter?”

“I think this is one of the most malicious lies that has to do with transgender medicine for children,” she adds.

Exclusive: Jim Jordan, Chip Roy slam DOJ prosecution of whistleblower who exposed trans surgeries on minors

Republican Reps. Jim Jordan of Ohio and Chip Roy of Texas co-authored a letter exclusively obtained by Blaze News slamming the Biden Department of Justice for prosecuting a medical whistleblower who shed light on transgender medical interventions used on children.

The DOJ is prosecuting Dr. Eithan Haim, a whistleblower who exposed the Texas Children's Hospital for performing transgender surgeries and treatments on minors, for allegedly committing HIPAA violations despite withholding sensitive medical or personal information about the patients. Haim's advocacy alerted Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, prompting him to issue a formal opinion in 2022, categorizing the procedures as child abuse.

'The DOJ's prosecution of Dr. Haim for blowing the whistle on criminal child abuse is wrong.'

"The hospital's actions raise concerns that this is continuing to intentionally harm young children for the purpose of a left-wing policy agenda," the letter reads.

Although Texas Children's Hospital announced that it would cease the transgender medical interventions on minors just a month after Paxton's statement, Haim revealed the hospital had continued the surgeries. As a result, the DOJ decided to prosecute Haim.

"The DOJ's prosecution of Dr. Haim for blowing the whistle on criminal child abuse is wrong," the letter reads. "As the Subcommittee examines this matter to inform potential legislative reforms that would enhance civil liberties and protect minors, we believe that the Texas Children's Hospital possesses relevant documents and information."

Jordan, who chairs the Judiciary Committee, and Roy, who chairs the Subcommittee on the Constitution and Limited Government, called on Texas Children's Hospital to turn over all relevant communications and documents surrounding Haim and the transgender treatments on minors.

‘We Are Men And Women’: Texas Supreme Court Upholds State Protections Against Child Transing

The ruling comes just 10 days after Biden’s DOJ indicted a doctor who exposed Texas Children’s Hospital's body-butchering services.

Camera captures moment FBI agents show up at whistleblower's home after she helps expose sex-change program at Texas hospital

The FBI dispatched two agents to the home of a Texas nurse after she spoke to journalist Christopher Rufo about the sex-change program at Texas Children's Hospital.

Last year, Rufo broke news about an elaborate sex-change program happening at Texas Children's Hospital. A whistleblower gave Rufo documents proving the hospital continued its "transgender medicine" operations despite publicly saying the program had ended. That whistleblower was Dr. Eithan Haim, whom the Justice Department has now indicted on four felony charges for allegedly violating medical privacy laws.

'They promised they would make life difficult for me if I was trying to protect the leaker.'

Haim's bravery encouraged a second whistleblower to come forward.

Last May, that whistleblower provided new insight into how physicians at Texas Children's Hospital provided "transgender medicine," explained how "transgender medicine is highly lucrative," and described her workplace as having a "demonic presence."

On Tuesday, Rufo revealed the identity of the whistleblower, registered nurse Vanessa Sivadge.

In the new report, Sivadge accused Texas Children's Hospital of engaging in Medicaid fraud.

"The largest children's hospital in the country is illegally billing Medicaid for transgender procedures," she said. "It is evident that the hospital continues to believe it is above the law not just by concealing the existence of their transgender medicine program from the public, but by stealing from the federal government."

What is shocking is what happened to Sivadge after she initially spoke to Rufo.

Two months after their conversation, Sivadge called Rufo in a "panic," he recounted. Sivadge told Rufo that two FBI agents unexpectedly showed up at her home wanting to talk about "some of the things that have been going on at work lately."

Sivadge's doorbell camera captured her partner opening the door to their home as two FBI agents flashed their badges and demanded to speak with Sivadge.

(You can view that footage here).

According to Sivadge, the FBI agents told her that she was a "person of interest" in the investigation into Dr. Haim.

"They promised they would make life difficult for me if I was trying to protect the leaker," Sivadge told Rufo. "They said I was ‘not safe’ at work and claimed that someone at my workplace had given my name to the FBI."

In the months since that visit, FBI agents have not re-appeared at her home. Still, Sivadge told Rufo that she is motivated to fight against the transgender agenda.

"My faith and my gut, just knowing right from wrong, compels me," she said. "I was born for this. I have no doubt this is what I am supposed to do."

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) has confirmed that his office is investigating the newest whistleblower allegations.
