Joe Rogan, the massively popular podcaster who supported Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) in 2020 and signaled he would back Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) were he to go the distance in 2024, long expressed reluctance about having President Donald Trump on his show.
Rogan finally gave in late last month and sat down for three hours with the Republican president for an interview that went viral despite YouTube's apparent censorship efforts. Although the titular host of "The Joe Rogan Experience" appeared receptive to Trump's various policy proposals and his commentary about the issues facing the nation, Rogan refrained from endorsing the president — until Monday night after Elon Musk detailed his own reasons for backing Trump.
Rogan noted after the nearly three-hour interview Monday that Musk, a former Democrat, made "the most compelling case for Trump you'll hear" and agreed with the tech magnate "every step of the way."
While their conversation was replete with indications that might account for why Rogan finally endorsed Kamala Harris' opponent — such as the falsity of both the Democrat-constructed Russian collusion narrative and the party's promise of change; Harris' censorial reflex and dislikable personality; economic woes; Democrats' failure or unwillingness to tackle crime; reckless government spending; the border crisis; the promise of Trump's "Make America Healthy Again" movement; and the slaying of Peanut the squirrel — Musk highlighted four key reasons Trump was the optimal choice.
Musk, who has reportedly poured hundreds of millions of dollars into efforts to see Trump elected, emphasized that should the Republican candidate lose the election, America will in turn "lose the two-party system."
The tech billionaire reasoned that there are only a handful of swing states where the margin of victory is small, "often 10 or 20,000 votes."
Musk echoed the concern Rogan raised with Sen. John Fetterman on the previous episode, namely that "the Democrat administration has been ... importing vast numbers of illegal aliens into swing states."
"What we're seeing is triple-digit increases in the numbers of illegals in every swing state. Some cases, 700% increases. These are gigantic numbers," said Musk, stressing that these numbers are far in excess of what would be necessary to permanently lock swing states for the Democrats.
'If Trump doesn't win, this is the last election.'
"Once the swing states vote blue, there is no election anymore," continued Musk. "There's only a Democrat primary."
"Which is so crazy," Rogan responded. "And it's so crazy that people are fine with that."
Musk indicated that the ultimate result would be a "one-party state" whose Democratic commissars could continue the project of overwhelming resistive states with illegal aliens until the remaining resistance is electorally neutralized.
While the Tesla CEO intimated that amnesty might play a big role in this scheme, he indicated that illegal aliens will be able to put their thumbs on the scale long before receiving citizenship, referencing successful Democratic efforts to eliminate voter ID laws.
Steven Camarota, the director of research for the Center of Immigration Studies, noted in a recent op-ed that illegal aliens are also counted in the census, meaning blue states will enjoy greater and greater representation in Congress the longer the border crisis goes unchecked.
"If Trump doesn't win, this is the last election," reiterated Musk.
Rogan replied, "I think you're right."
Musk noted that there has been a concerted campaign by Democrats to infringe upon Americans' rights and to render the Constitution a dead document.
"There have been all these attacks on the Constitution, especially on the Democrat side. They have been repeatedly saying that the First Amendment is an obstacle," said Musk. "And they're claiming, 'Oh, the First Amendment is enabling disinformation, misinformation.' And I'm like, 'Yo, there's a reason for the First Amendment.'"
Democrats have been explicit about their problems with the First Amendment and the speech rights it guarantees.
Tim Wu, a former special assistant to President Biden for competition and tech policy and author of one of Biden's executive orders, complained in July that the "First Amendment is out of control" and recommended reining it in.
Former Biden-Harris climate czar John Kerry noted during a World Economic Forum panel discussion on trade and so-called sustainability in September that "our First Amendment stands as a major block to the ability to be able to just, you know, hammer ['disinformation'] out of existence."
The Biden-Harris administration has evidenced in practice its hostility toward free speech. For instance, it leaned on social media companies to silence dissenting voices during the pandemic; launched the Department of Homeland Security's short-lived Disinformation Governance Board and tasked an advocate for deplatforming Trump to run the censorship outfit; weaponized the State Department to clamp down on undesirable speech; and worked to control speech on the internet.
"If you don't have freedom of speech, you don't have democracy," Musk told Rogan. "If you don't have freedom of speech, people cannot make an informed vote. If they're just being fed propaganda, and there's no freedom of speech, democracy is an illusion."
Musk noted further that the Second Amendment — similarly under assault by Harris and her fellow Democrats — serves to ensure Americans can fight off those tyrannical forces that would dare undermine the First Amendment.
"I've had these debates, especially with people in L.A., because they want to take everyone's guns away, and I'm like, 'Yo, can you guarantee me that the government — that we'll never have a tyrannical government in the United States? Can you make that guarantee?' They're like, 'Well, nobody can make that guarantee.' I'm like, 'Then we need to keep our guns,'" said Musk. "Because that's what's going to stop it."
Harris' campaign website noted that if elected, she would "ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, require universal background checks, and support red flag laws that keep guns out of the hands of dangerous people."
In the past, Harris has threatened to storm the homes of law-abiding Americans for surprise gun inspections and sponsored a handgun ban.
Musk told Rogan that regulation has stymied innovation, such that it apparently takes longer for Space X to gain approval from regulatory agencies for a rocket launch than it takes to build the actual rockets.
When making his case for why a return to Trump's style of relative deregulation is optimal, Musk likened regulators to referees in a game of football.
"You don't want to have no refs. You want to have some number of refs. But you don't want to have way more refs than players," said Musk. "'Well, the running back couldn't complete the pass because there were too many regulators in the way because the football field was full of regulators.' Like, you can't even play the game."
Musk said in September that if Trump wins, "We do have an opportunity to do kind of a once-in-a-lifetime deregulation and reduction in the size of government."
The duo broached the subject of the left's desperate attempts to liken Trump to Adolf Hitler. Musk made a point of noting that Hitler is so despised because he committed genocide and effectively started war with Western civilization.
"Tell me about the wars and genocide that Trump did. Uh, I don't remember that, and he was president for four years," said Musk. "It's insane. It makes no sense."
Rogan noted, "He's campaigning on stopping all the wars. It's like his primary concern."
'Vote like your life depends on it because I think it does.'
"Exactly! The war mongers like Liz Cheney hate him," added Musk. "Because they love war. ... They profit off of war."
Former Jan. 6 committee member Liz Cheney and her father, Dick Cheney — a champion of the invasion of Iraq, which cost thousands of U.S. service lives and trillions of dollars — are among the interventionists who have backed Harris. Harris and Cheney recently denounced Trump's "isolationism," calling his aversion to foreign entanglements "dangerous."
Rogan indicated that he felt a sense of cognitive dissonance when the left celebrated Dick Cheney's Harris endorsement: "It's the craziest turn — the craziest 180 I've ever seen in my life."
"Yeah, can we play all the videos where you said Dick Cheney was the devil?" Musk replied, laughing.
"The war-profiteers hate Trump," said Musk. "Which is f***ed up. ... We should be like, 'Yeah, let's vote for the guy war-profiteers hate. That sounds like a great idea.'"
The tech billionaire noted further that the "Kamala puppet regime" is a guarantee for more war.
Musk concluded the interview by emphasizing the "men need to vote."
"This is a message to the men out there: Vote like your life depends on it because I think it does," said Musk. "Nothing is more important."

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation announced last week that they found the likely remains of 25-year-old Minelys Rodriguez-Ramirez of Cornelia. The man suspected of kidnapping and murdering the Puerto Rican native is an illegal alien, Angel DeJesus Rivera-Sanchez.
Keen to spare other families from similar heartbreak, Rodriguez-Ramirez's mother endorsed President Donald Trump at his Sunday rally in Macon, Georgia, emphasizing that it's high time to end this trend of illegally imported barbarism.
Rodriguez-Ramirez, the mother of a 9-year-old girl who had a popular TikTok account where she shared fitness routines, was engaged to be married. Julio Tovor, the victim's fiancé, told Now Hambersham, "Minelys talked about her daughter a lot. She treasured her daughter."
According to Tovor, his fiancée went to Walmart to exchange a photo with an acquaintance. Her car was later found pulled over on the side of Hazel Creek Road.
The victim's family reported her missing on Oct. 23, and six days later the GBI announced that her likely remains were found near the Walmart where she was last seen.
Rivera-Sanchez, 24, was arrested last week and charged with both kidnapping and murdering Rodriguez-Ramirez. Georgia state Sen. John Albers (R) indicated that the suspect was apprehended in Atlanta "as he tried to flee back to Mexico."
Habersham County Sheriff Joey Terrell confirmed to the Northeast Georgian that Rivera-Sanchez is an illegal alien and accused the Biden-Harris Department of Homeland Security of staying tight-lipped on the matter due to the election.
'I will not let them spill one more drop of precious American blood.'
"[Rodriguez-Ramirez] moved from Puerto Rico and secured employment with Mt. Vernon Hills, Inc. and tirelessly supported her daughter, mother and fiance. She did everything right, yet her life was cut short because of our federal government's repeated failure to protect its own citizens," Albers said in a statement. "Once again, our open-border policies have claimed another innocent life on American soil, right here in Georgia."
Albers asked, "How many more lives must be lost due to the open-border policies in Washington, D.C.?"
The victim's mother, Carmen Ramirez, took the stage at Trump's rally Sunday, holding a flag that read, "Don't blame us[.] We voted for Trump. The Milholen-Ramirez Fam."
After hugging the president, Ramirez introduced herself as the murdered woman's mother, indicating, "She was murdered last Tuesday. I lose my daughter, but I don't lose my faith."
"I know Donald Trump is the best choice for the U.S.A.," continued the bereaved mother. "He is the only one we need to save our country."
"I have a 25-year-old daughter with a lot of life, and somebody stopped her life. And we have to stop with this and keep going with Donald Trump," added Ramirez.
After Ramirez implored Trump to "make America great again," Trump discussed Democrats' border policies then played a video endorsement from another mother who lost her daughter allegedly as a result of illegal aliens.
Following a video endorsement from Alexis Nungaray, who underscored that her 12-year-old daughter, Jocelyn, would not have been allegedly raped and murdered by two illegal Venezuelan nationals had border czar Kamala Harris secured the border, Trump told Georgians Sunday, "The day I take the oath of office, the migrant invasion ends and the restoration of our country begins."
"When you vote on Tuesday, remember this: Kamala is importing illegal alien rapists and murderers; draconian monsters who are killing our children, our brothers, our sisters, our parents, our friends. They're willing to kill anyone," said Trump. "When I win I will not let these animals into our country any longer. I will not let them spill one more drop of precious American blood."

After years of liberal lockstep, Armenian-Americans seem to be breaking for Donald Trump. This is good news, not just for ethnic Armenians but for all Americans. Let me explain.
The first big break with the status quo came from Armenian Weekly columnist Armen Morian, who recently urged his readership to vote for Trump.
But just take a look at a map, and the significance of Armenia’s role as it relates to Western hegemony becomes clear.
Traditionally, Democrat candidates have pushed for Armenian causes, such as recognition of Armenian genocide. This has generally been enough for Armenians, like many other minority American groups, to nod their heads and go along with the empty promises of the liberal platform.
Morian acknowledges this habit as he makes a solidly persuasive case for why Armenian-Americans should vote for Trump. The Biden administration is simply the latest iteration of the fundamentally anti-human “Establishment” ideology:
For decades the official ideology of the Establishment has been a globalist one that disdains the cultures, traditions and interests of individual nations, beginning with those of the nation they profess to serve: America. They regard men and nations as interchangeable pawns to be played, regardless, and often in spite of, their unique cultures, histories and traditions, which they see not as determinants of policy but obstacles to be overcome on the path toward advancing their ideology.
For Morian, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's government is but an extension of this liberal establishment, with Pashinyan and his cronies doing the globalist work of trying to normalize relations between the republic and Turkey, harassing the Armenian Apostolic Church, and sowing division between Armenians of the mainland and of the diaspora, among other things.
Donald Trump himself seemed to vindicate Morian's claims a few days later, when he made a post on Truth Social blaming Kamala Harris and the rest of the Biden administration for doing nothing as Islamic Azerbaijan ethnically cleansed 120,000 Armenians from their historic homeland in Artsakh, which was, up until 2023, a disputed enclave within the boundaries of Azerbaijan.
I surmise that advisers like Vivek Ramaswamy and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. have had something to do with raising his awareness of the crisis in that part of the world.
As an ethnic Armenian myself, these developments are all fine and dandy. If the Armenian-American community can wake up from its liberal slumber and manage to find its conservative spine, I can call that progress.
But why should you care? Why should you care about the political goings-on of the Republic of Armenia and about the Armenians in general? After all, Armenians make up a tiny minority in America. Their vote most likely won’t make a dent in the election.
Likewise, the Western perception of Armenia and Armenians is barely existent, if it even exists at all. What does this tiny nation located at the crossroads of Europe, Asia, and the Middle East have to do with you?
Well, allow me to appeal to your sense of geopolitics. On the surface, Armenia comes off as a backwater post-Soviet country tucked away from the rest of Europe under the Caucasus mountain range. It doesn’t contribute much in terms of GDP, as its 1991 statehood came with significant disadvantages: It's completely landlocked on all sides and neighbored by two bloodthirsty enemies — Turkey and Azerbaijan.
But just take a look at a map, and the significance of Armenia’s role as it relates to Western hegemony becomes clear.
Armenia is the lone obstacle standing in the way of Turkey’s pursuit of establishing a pan-Turanic land and sea bridge that would span Europe and Asia. Contrary to public perception, the bonds these nations share are less based on Islam than they are on ethnicity.
The nations highlighted in the graphic are all demographically composed of ethnically Turkic peoples. And if they were to establish that pan-Turanic land and sea bridge, you can bet your bottom dollar they would throw the power of that newfound Turanic empire around.

And if you think this isn’t coming down the pipeline, just look at both Greece and Armenia as your prime examples of what happens when Turks become the power brokers.
The Hagia Sophia is no longer a church. Every major Armenian church and historical site has either been destroyed or retroactively cast as an ancient Turkish site. The ruthless predation of the Turkic world has remained only regional for Christians up until now, but it can very easily become international, very soon.
What stands in the way is Armenia. That’s it.
That is why the Azeris just cleaned out 120,000 Armenians from their ancestral homeland with military force. It’s why the traitorous, globalist Armenian government is pushing to “normalize” relations between itself and Turkey and Azerbaijan. And yes, it’s even why Iran considers Armenia’s territorial integrity a “red line” that it would not tolerate Azerbaijan breaching.
It’s also why I want you, the reader, to be aware of this pressing issue.
If Donald Trump becomes president, especially with advisers like Vivek Ramaswamy and RFK Jr. on his team, there will be a real opportunity to ward off this threat.
What I’m pushing for is not more taxpayer-funded aid to yet another region of the world. Instead, I'd like us to siphon the power, influence, and money away from antagonists like Turkey and Azerbaijan, whom we help out a lot.
The Middle East can be very stable, if we want it to be. That it happens to be occupied and governed by non-Christians is an anomaly — for much of history, Christians were in charge. A restoration of a Christian Middle East must be on the table as an agenda item for the next administration.
In 2016, the night before the presidential election, I posted a few paragraphs on how I was feeling. I was in an environment where I was surrounded by left-leaning coworkers, and I felt immense pressure not to voice what I really thought.
So instead, I posted that I was exhausted by the divisive rhetoric on both sides and that, while I believed Hillary Clinton would win, it didn’t matter as much as we made it seem because we would move on.
While most of us can agree that abortion is wrong, it’s easy to be swayed into believing that 'loving our neighbor' means allowing those living in worse countries into ours for a 'better life.'
I got a barrage of comments from both sides saying, “Wow, this is exactly how I feel!” I felt validated. I felt like I had pleased everyone. The problem was that I didn’t actually say anything.
In an effort to be winsome and relatable to everyone, I ignored the glaring siren in front of me: It DID matter who won this election, and Christians had no business voting for Hillary Clinton despite Donald Trump’s many flaws.
It was true then, and it’s even more true now. In 2016, we didn’t have a clue how Donald Trump would actually lead or what policies he’d truly care about. Now we do. We also have three years — and an entire abysmal career before that — of record on our other candidate, current Vice President Kamala Harris.
Yet I don’t blame the Christian for being confused. We’re bombarded with media lies claiming that Kamala Harris is the empathetic choice. She’s the choice that will be “compassionate” to the illegal immigrant (but not to the victim of rampant immigrant crime) and to the woman with an unwanted pregnancy (but not, needless to say, to the baby being murdered).
A few weeks ago, Pastor Ray Ortlund, president of Renewal Ministries and founding pastor of Immanuel Church in Nashville, posted on Instagram Threads: “Never Trump. This time Harris. Always Jesus.”
Last week, Glennon Doyle, lesbian self-love guru, who still has a large Christian, female following, posted a series of slides on Instagram claiming that if Donald Trump is elected, “we lose birth control, IVF, abortion, insurance coverage, and LGBTQ+ rights.” Note that quite literally none of that is even remotely true.
In the past few weeks, I’ve seen other pastors contribute to the irresponsible lie that “both sides are just as bad” or, even worse, that “both sides are valid options.” From a Christian standpoint, not only is that untrue, it’s unbiblical and dangerous.
If you find yourself convinced by the progressive left that it would be “unloving” to vote for Donald Trump, or that it doesn’t matter as long as you “vote your conscience,” I urge you to look a little deeper at what your vote actually means.
As Christians, we obey a higher authority than our feelings. If we examine each candidate's proposals in the light of biblical truth, deciding how to cast your vote isn’t so confusing after all.

The clips went viral because the church as a whole is starved for good Christian teaching that speaks to how the Christian should apply the Bible to the ballot box. These are two of the pastors who actually cared to answer.
As much as Christians like to pretend like politics and culture are outside the church, they’re not, and it’s vital that the Christian understands where Kamala Harris stands and what she represents in this election.
Proverbs 6:16-17: “The Lord hates … hands that shed innocent blood.”
Kamala Harris is the most radically pro-abortion presidential candidate in history.
It’s true that we do not have a consistently pro-life candidate in this election, with Donald Trump refusing to support a federal abortion ban and openly and consistently supporting abortion exceptions and term limits, but the Democrats are undeniably, radically worse.
While Republicans now think abortion should be rare, as Democrats used to, Democrats celebrate it and flaunt it.
It’s not just about exceptions or limits. Harris will not name a single abortion restriction that she supports. Eight states and Washington, D.C., impose no term restrictions on abortion, and more will follow under Harris.
In 2019, she voted to block the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which would have required medical care for babies born alive in botched abortions.
Her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, signed the Protect Reproductive Options Act in January 2023, which repealed the state's Born-Alive Infants Protection Act, codifying a “fundamental right to reproductive freedom” and essentially prohibiting any restrictions on abortion, including gestational age limits.
The bill also removed the requirement for abortion providers to report cases in which infants survive abortion attempts, a measure that had been in place since 2015.
While Trump is not standing strong against abortion as he should, he would inevitably surround himself with many who do. He will be supported by people who have the potential to change his mind. Harris will not.
Acts 17:26: And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place.
Perhaps no issue today divides Christians more than illegal immigration.
While most of us can agree that abortion is wrong, it’s easy to be swayed into believing that “loving our neighbor” means allowing those living in worse countries into ours for a “better life.”
But is it really loving to open our borders and put our own citizens at risk?
How were we loving our neighbor Laken Riley, a Georgia nursing student, when our border failed to protect her from the unvetted illegal immigrant who brutally murdered her?
Were we loving Mollie Tibbetts, Kate Steinle, and Lizbeth Medina when they, too, died at the hands of illegal immigrants? Are we loving our neighbors in Colorado as we allow apartment complexes to be taken over by Venezuelan gangs?
Harris and Walz have repeatedly blamed Trump for rejecting a border bill that they claim would have properly vetted illegal aliens. In reality, the “border security bill” would have allowed 5,000 illegal border crossings per day before closing the border, kept catch-and-release in place, sent hundreds of millions of dollars to NGOs to facilitate illegal immigration, and required that any illegal immigrant who claims asylum be released into the country and granted work authorization almost immediately.
The fact is that Harris has no plan to secure our border. We know because she’s been asked repeatedly and has never been able to answer.

If you follow Libs of TikTok on X, you already know what the Democrats advocate in this department: books that read like porn being available to young children in schools, gender indoctrination baked into curriculum, and the normalization of drag shows, preferred pronouns, and “gender-affirming care” — dangerous hormone “treatments” and experimental genital mutilation surgeries.
I could write a lengthy book on the amount of corruption within the “transgender care” industry, but suffice to say that proponents in this industry are creating lifelong slaves to the medical industrial complex by selling experimental surgeries and hormone “treatments” that they know have an absurdly high complication rate.
It’s a neglect of responsibility for us to reject God’s design for sexuality and gender to begin with, and it’s a dereliction of duty to ignore the physical and mental harm being inflicted upon not only adults but children as well.
On “Transgender Day of Visibility” in 2022, Harris and Admiral Rachel Levine welcomed six “transgender” and “nonbinary” youth and their families to the White House. Levine said it was “deeply impactful to speak to some amazing trans kids at the White House. Gender-affirming care is the medical standard and allows these kids to be themselves and live a normal life.”
The same year, the White House posted a message from president Joe Biden and Harris that read, “Efforts to criminalize supportive medical care for transgender kids, to ban transgender children from playing sports, and to outlaw discussing LGBTQI+ people in schools undermine their humanity and corrode our Nation’s values.”
In a 2019 interview with the National Center for Transgender Equality, Harris crowed that as attorney general of California, she ensured that the state changed its policy "so that every transgender inmate in the prison system would have access to the medical care that they desired and need."
When running for president in 2019, she pledged on an ACLU questionnaire that if she became president, she would use "executive authority to ensure that transgender and nonbinary people who rely on the state for medical care — including those in prison and immigration detention — will have access to comprehensive treatment associated with gender transition, including all necessary surgical care."
Due to Harris’ policy, a man who is sitting on death row for gruesomely killing three people, known as the “Yacht Killer,” has received taxpayer-funded “sex-change” surgeries and is expected to transfer to a female prison soon.
Compare this to Trump’s pledge to keep men out of women’s sports and to stop child genital mutilation surgeries. Which candidate aligns more with our God-given duty to protect the vulnerable (Proverbs 31:8-9)?
David Daleiden, project lead at the Center for Medical Progress, was investigated for criminal activity in 2015 by then-California Attorney General Harris after he released undercover footage showing Planned Parenthood executives discussing the sale of baby body parts from late-term abortions.
In 2016, Harris sent 11 armed agents along with K-9 dog units to Daleiden’s one-bedroom apartment, a raid in which the California DOJ seized dozens of hours of his unreleased undercover tapes.
Harris, upon request from her donors at Planned Parenthood, opened a criminal investigation into Daleiden and the CMP. Eight years later, he still faces charges under California’s never-before-used eavesdropping/recording law.
A few months ago, half a dozen pro-life activists were found guilty of violating a federal law that forbids protesters to block the entrances to abortion clinics. Jonathan Darnel, who remained outside the clinic, received a nearly three-year sentence. Others in the case received two-year sentences, and another — the only one who pleaded guilty — received a 10-month sentence.
Harris has voiced support for efforts to strengthen protections for “reproductive health care providers,” particularly in the context of increasing “threats” to clinics and their staff. In other words, this will only happen more under her watch.
In California, under Assembly Bill 957, a child's gender identity must be considered in custody decisions during divorce or custody disputes. This includes custody disputes involving whether the state should have custody of the child.
In Oregon, the state can refuse Christian couples the opportunity to foster and adopt if they don’t comply with their potential future child’s “gender identity” and pledge to seek “gender-affirming care” accordingly.
This is religious “liberty” under Democrat rule.
Trump or Harris? It’s really not that complicated, after all. And the same logic applies to local elections. When considering your vote, take a cue from Howerton's sermon, in which he suggests asking the following questions.

It may feel uncomfortable to admit when it’s tempting to reject party lines, but I’m more than confident that the answer to whom the Christian should vote for will simply never be “blue.”
It’s not because the Republican Party is right all the time or because Republicans don’t have their own glaring issues that need to be addressed.
It’s that the Democratic Party is a cancer to society that promotes baby murder, child genital mutilation, the destruction of the family and parents’ rights, and the unfettered influx of (sometimes violent) illegal aliens, who are draining taxpayer resources while citizens suffer. Been to North Carolina lately?
There is only one alternative. Christians, we must choose it.
The reality is that it is your duty to vote, because in a constitutional republic, you lead by electing representatives. As a Christian, you’re the leader appointing people to represent you as close to the biblical view on these issues as you can get.
To neglect to do so is a dereliction of duty. And the answer on whom to vote for isn’t complicated. As Howerton says, “Personalities are temporary; policies last a long time.”
Yes, Donald Trump is uncouth at times and posts silly little name-calling rants on X, but he also appointed Supreme Court justices who overturned Roe v. Wade.
Imagine the numerous lives that were spared and will be spared because of that decision. That is what you’re voting for.
Around 30 million Bible-believing Christians didn't vote in the last presidential election. That election is argued to have been decided by 42,000 votes.
That is why your vote matters.
When I woke up the morning after Trump’s 2016 victory, it was clear that the world was ending.
I was a junior in college, pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting. The theater department was housed within the humanities building. We shared space with the students studying women and gender studies.
Another student, both gay and black, said, 'Anyone who voted for Donald Trump hates me.'
I only knew one other person who, like me, had cast their vote for Donald Trump. We had both filled out our mail-in ballots in guilty silence.
When I arrived on campus that morning, I collided with a good friend; she had filled a 7-Eleven Slurpee cup with booze and was drinking it somewhat discreetly in the hallways. She was not the only one, and she was not reprimanded.
In the quad, my physical theater professor (yes, that was a real course) was handing out free, consolatory pancakes to students with swollen, red eyes.
In my afternoon scene study class, a young woman sat in the corner and cried, “I really thought we would finally have a woman for president.”
Another student, both gay and black, said, “Anyone who voted for Donald Trump hates me.”
My professor nodded with the bravado of righteous indignation, like a wise elder at the gate watching as the city crumbled to pieces, pitying the young people who would have to go on living.
As I ascended the staircase toward my bedroom that evening, my roommate, the one other person who was not utterly demoralized by Hillary Clinton’s defeat, popped his head out, surveyed the room to ensure we could not be overheard, and whispered, “I’m not sad that he won.”
“Me, neither,” I breathed.
That was all we said. Even in our own home, it was not safe to say more.
I kept my vote for Donald Trump a secret for years. There were many days, listening to my friends bemoan the callous inhumanity of Republican voters and the inevitable rise of fascism because Donald Trump wanted to cut taxes, that I would wonder if — at my lowest points, fantasize that — my ballot had been lost in the mail. Maybe I was not culpable in his victory at all.
The vigil for American democracy that had taken place in my humanities building had convinced me that if I were to be a conservative traversing among the creative society, I must be a quiet one.
But times change, don’t they?
Times change when men invade women’s locker rooms. When doctors sterilize children. When Big Pharma lies to us. When free speech is compromised.
Today, the conservatives are more classically liberal than the liberals. And I, as someone with classically liberal tendencies, am living in my era.
I’m fist-bumping RFK Jr. as he promises to “Make Frying Oil Tallow Again.” I’m vibing with JD Vance’s commitment to the hard-working blue-collar class of America. I’m getting behind Elon Musk’s defense of free speech on the internet. And yes, I am no longer ashamed to say that I really hope Trump can Make America Great Again.
But regardless of which way this election goes, I refuse to behave like my humanities department did in 2016. I will not hold a vigil for the bygone American republic. I will not assume the worst of those who voted differently than I did or didn’t even vote at all.
What matters to me most this election season is the way we treat one another.
At the end of the day, most of us will never meet our president. He or she will not keep our keys for us when we leave for vacation. Our president will not gather with us for Thanksgiving dinner. It’s unlikely our elected officials will come together to pray for our sick mother or celebrate our new child. But our neighbors, our family, our community who may vote differently than us, they will be there.
This is America.
Go out and vote for the best candidate without shame. Put that campaign sign in your yard, if you want to, because we can handle a nation of people who don’t all vote the same way, and, in fact, we must.
Well, I ask, is he?

Instead, he’s reemerged as a compelling figure on the podcast circuit, trading banter with Tim Dillon, Theo Von, and (most recently) Joe Rogan. This relaxed, long-form format has been ideal for Vance to showcase his intelligence, wit, and relatability to millions who rarely tune into cable news.
This transformation should prompt us to revisit "Hillbilly Elegy," Vance’s gripping memoir of his battle against generational poverty and familial chaos.
I love this book. Absolutely love it. It’s a heartfelt tale of his turbulent upbringing in Middletown, Ohio, amidst his mother’s drug abuse and the instability that came with it.
As a child, Vance’s life was marked by chaos and despair. As his mother’s addiction to painkillers spiraled, Vance found himself weathering her erratic outbursts and devastating relapses. He was caught in the crossfire of domestic violence and shuffled between unstable homes.
Through it all, there was one stable presence in his life: “Mamaw."
Tough as nails and unapologetically blunt, Vance's grandmother became the anchor he desperately needed. She wasn’t just a caretaker—she was his defender, shielding him from his mother’s bad behavior and instilling in him a sense of self-worth and resilience. This was something Vance discussed in great detail with Von, another man who was raised in a rather chaotic environment.
Despite the turmoil, Vance fought his way to the Marines, Ohio State University, and eventually Yale Law School.
His journey from literal rags to well-earned riches is a lesson every American, regardless of their political beliefs, should appreciate. In a time when victimhood culture glorifies self-pity and weakness, America’s future Vice President—and maybe even future President—is the perfect antidote.
Vance’s story isn’t just one of success; it’s a testament to personal responsibility and grit. He doesn’t sugarcoat the harsh realities of his upbringing or American life.
And he isn’t seeking sympathy. Instead, he stands by the belief that adversity isn’t a life sentence—it’s the fuel for genuine greatness.
It's no surprise that the rise of a white man to a position of power has been met with fierce resistance on the left. The mainstream media is desperate to paint Vance as an unhinged, misogynistic nutjob intent on turning America into something out of "The Handmaid’s Tale."
But who, other than the most deluded, is actually listening to what they are saying?
Articles that might have caught some buzz a few years ago have lost their sting. No one cares what Mother Jones has to say. Nobody’s losing sleep over what some blue-haired Gen Z hysteric at Salon or HuffPost churns out.
Fewer still care what the New York Times has to say. This is the first post-MSM election, the first independent media election, where figures like Vance gain credibility through long-form, unfiltered conversations on podcasts.
But Vance can chew gum and walk at the same time. He knows the mainstream media still holds some sway, despite what almost a decade of Trump derangement has done to their credibility.
Recently, Vance went head-to-head with CNN’s Jake Tapper in an engrossing, entertaining showdown. To put it bluntly, Vance wiped the floor with his adversary. It was like watching a grandmaster toy with a novice. Vance played the role of Magnus Carlsen, while Tapper assumed the role of Mr. Bean. Expertly, I might add.
With cool confidence, Vance dismantled every trap, flipping each loaded question into a chance to hammer home his points. He stayed composed and unrattled, while Tapper grew visibly frustrated. It wasn’t just an interview—it was a takedown.
Yes, Tapper is an exemplary MSM stooge, and his motives are transparent. But let’s be clear, he’s no dummy. In that interview, however, Vance made him look like one.
Of course, any discussion about independent media and the decline of the MSM would be incomplete without mentioning Joe Rogan. Trump recently appeared on his podcast -- the world’s most popular -- and knocked it out of the park.
Both Trump and Vance thrive in long-form discussions that can veer off into unexpected territory. Why? Because they’re real people, capable of talking about anything from sports to completely offbeat topics.
Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, on the other hand, come across as DC-androids, pre-programmed to hit only the safe, PC-approved talking points for brief, scripted moments. In many ways, they’re the weird ones, not Trump or Vance.
Harris, in particular, seems to have hitched her fortunes to the sinking ship of mainstream media—a move that feels like booking a first-class ticket on the Titanic as it speeds toward the iceberg.
As is clear to anyone with a functioning brain, Trump and Vance are gaining momentum at precisely the right time—just days before Americans cast their votes in arguably the nation’s most important election. Ever!
And, remember, when you vote, you’re not just voting for Trump. You’re voting for JD Vance, a man who may very well be a future president. And judging by his recent podcast appearances, a very fine one at that.
Not bad for a man bequeathed a heritage of grief, suffering, and chaos. Not bad for a man who turned an "elegy' for his forgotten part of the country into a vision for the future of all Americans.
Feminist icon and best-selling author Naomi Wolf has thrown her support behind President Donald Trump, joining the likes of Lt. Col. Tulsi Gabbard, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Teamsters boss Sean O'Brien, and the multitudes of other longtime Democrats who have grown disenchanted with a party now unrecognizable under its current management.
"Naomi Wolf here. NYS. Never in a million years did I think I'd vote for Donald Trump but the folks for whom I voted, censored me illegally via Big Tech, killed thousands of people via FDA lies and put the guy who tried to help me save American lives, in prison," Wolf wrote in a Sunday X post, days before President Joe Biden called all Trump supporters "garbage".
"At a certain point you can't support the fascists," added Wolf.
Wolf was long a darling of the left — a Democratic insider celebrated as a key proponent of third-wave feminism who advised the presidential campaigns of Bill Clinton and Al Gore, took up the cause of the populist Occupy Wall Street demonstrators in 2011, anddonned a "p***y hat" with other Trump critics in 2017.
In recent years, however, the liberal establishment began attacking Wolf as it became increasingly clear she was unwilling to toe the party line.
Leftists lashed out at Wolf when, for instance, she criticized the experimental mRNA vaccines foisted upon the American population, earning a ban on pre-Musk Twitter; when she underwent firearms training, which she indicated was "empowering"; when she discussed the Bible with Tucker Carlson around the time her former Democrat allies were working to censor him; and when she emphasized that abortion is always a "tragedy."
Following his release from prison Tuesday, Stephen K. Bannon spoke to Wolf on his "War Room" show about her Trump endorsement.
"Did you actually endorse President Trump?" asked Bannon.
'In person, he's very different from the caricature.'
"This is a hard thing for me to do, but yes I did. I'm saying it. It's public. Yes I did," said Wolf. "I posted it and I sent it to you in prison, my tweet or my X post, saying at a certain point, you have to stop supporting the fascists. The people I voted for silenced my voice. They killed thousands of people and they put the man who helped me try to save the lives of thousands of people in prison."
"At a certain point, you just have to stand up for what's right," added Wolf.
When pressed about what specifically prompted her to turn her back on the Democratic Party and to risk "Rachel Maddow's head blowing up," Wolf indicated that a good friend brought her to hear Trump speak to Orthodox Jews at Bedminster about anti-Semitism and about bringing an end to the conflict in the Middle East.
"I'm Jewish," said Wolf. "That was very, very moving to me."
Wolf noted further that "in person, he's very different from the caricature."
"All of my information about him was filtered through legacy media. 'He's a fascist.' 'He's a misogynist.' 'He's a racist.' I saw someone who was eloquent, articulate, thoughtful, very funny," continued the feminist icon. "Not every joke he makes I would have endorsed, but he was talking about — he was serious, he was a serious person talking seriously about peace in the Middle East about saving lives, saving innocent lives, Palestinian and Israeli, and how can that not be good?"
'You guys have become the unity party.'
Wolf emphasized that she was not hearing the same kind of seriousness from the Harris camp.
Trump's foreign policy may have nudged Wolf along, but she made clear that Democrats' attempts to censor her criticism of the COVID-19 vaccines effectively poisoned the well:
Biden-Harris suppressed my voice when I was warning women about serious danger to their fertility from the mRNA injection. In June of 2021, two attorneys general with lawsuits revealed that ... tweet was lifted out by the Biden-Harris regime at the highest levels. And instead of helping women protect their fertility, their babies, their pregnancies, their own health, they lifted it out to silence me, to smear me unlawfully — to put pressure on Big Tech companies like X and Facebook to suppress my First Amendment rights.
Wolf indicated that when fellow Democrats not only abandoned her but viciously attacked her, Bannon alternatively afforded her the platform to speak out — only to find himself in a prison cell thanks to the Biden-Harris Department of Justice.
'The Democrat Party has no home for people like us.'
"President Trump did something very smart. He aligned himself with a number of luminaries, people who are very thoughtful and serious across the political spectrum: RFK Jr., whom I respect so much; Tulsi Gabbard; [and] Elon Musk has joined," said Wolf. "You guys have become the unity party."
When endorsing Trump, Gabbard and Kennedy similarly suggested there has been a great realignment.
"To those of you here and those watching at home who are independent people like myself, who love our country and are committed to the Constitution and to freedom, the Democrat Party has no home for people like us," Gabbard told a crowd in North Carolina last week. "But we do have a home in the Republican Party."
Kennedy told Tucker Carlson in August that his assassinated father and assassinated uncle would not recognize the Democratic Party under Kamala Harris.
"I think there's been a bunch of realignments, of political realignments — about four or five throughout American history," Kennedy told Tucker Carlson in August. "I think we're going through one right now."
Kennedy noted that the Democratic Party is an anti-democratic force that has become synonymous with corporatism, military adventurism, and censorship.
