German court fines activist who criticized political Islam just months after his stabbing by Afghan refugee

An Afghan migrant went on a savage stabbing spree at a May 31 anti-jihad rally in the German town of Mannheim, butchering 29-year-old police officer Rouvn Laur and attacking five demonstrators, including Michael Stürzenberger, an activist with the counter-jihad group Citizens' Movement, Pax Europa.

Months after Stürzenberger had his fears confirmed at the end of a hunting knife — receiving a stab to the thigh, a stab to the leg right above the knee, an injury to the upper arm, and a "gaping open wound" in the side of his face — a regional court convicted him of incitement for denigrating so-called refugees and radical Islam.

According to Berliner Zeitung, Michael Stürzenberger made statements at an October 2020 BPE rally in the presence of counter-protesters that authorities deemed hateful.

When the Hamburg District Court handed him a six-month prison sentence in 2022, the activist appealed. The court subsequently gave Stürzenberger a suspended prison sentence, but the activist appealed again. Finally, on Nov. 25, the court upheld the conviction and slapped him with a $3,804.65 fine.

'Everyone should be very careful how they express themselves.'

The right-wing German publication Nius reported that Stürzenberger was charged, in part, for criticizing German immigration policy; stating that unlike Muslim refugees from Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, North Africa, he had "never heard of a single Christian refugee who has committed a crime here"; suggesting that Muslim migrants from North Africa and the Middle East were disproportionately represented among those who have committed sexual assaults against German women; that a goal of political Islam is to "get women under control"; and for his statement, "We will not allow women in Germany who walk around scantily clad to become fair game for fundamentalist Muslims."

Stürzenberger told Nius, "I have always spoken about political Islam. Always said: It is not against Muslims!"

"Everyone should be very careful how they express themselves. One should always differentiate and speak of political Islam," continued the activist. "My criticism is only directed against the dangerous components of the ideology and those radicals who commit acts of violence as a result of it. Of course, it is not directed against all Muslims, as many are modern, value our democratic society, and respect our values and laws."

Stürzenberger is hardly the first German penalized in recent years for sharing inconvenient facts about the fallout of unchecked migration from terrorist hotbeds.

Blaze News previously reported that Marie-Thérèse Kaiser, a member of the popular Alternative for Germany party — which German authorities have sought to ban, vilify, disarm, de-bank, and criminalize — was convicted of a "hate crime" in May for sharing statistics about the disproportionate number of gang rapes committed by immigrants, specifically Afghan nationals, and for asking whether multiculturalism means accommodating rape culture.

While saying so is apparently verboten, mass immigration to Germany from Islamist states such as Afghanistan has coincided in recent years with a massive spike in rape and other violent crimes.

Of the roughly 1.35 million immigrants who flooded into Germany between 2010 and 2016, an estimated 850,000 were Muslims.

A government-commissioned study revealed in early 2018 that there was a 10.4% increase in violent crime at the height of the immigration crisis. Deutsche Welle reported that 90% of this violent crime increase was attributable to immigrants, predominantly males between the ages of 14 and 30.

Reuters reported earlier this year that the number of criminals with foreign backgrounds has since continued to rise, jumping by 13.5% in 2023.

Foreign nationals made clear that 2024 would be no different for Germany, ringing in the new year with violence. Blaze News previously reported that two-thirds of the rioters detained in the most recent explosion of New Year's violence were noncitizens, including 27 Afghans and 21 Syrians.

German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser stated in the aftermath on Jan. 4, "Good politics must clearly state what is happening: In major German cities we have a problem with certain young men with a migrant background who despise our state, commit acts of violence, and are hardly reached by education and integration programs."

While New Year's is now an annual problem, German cities are becoming increasingly unsafe all year, especially for gays and Jews.

Barbara Slowik, Berlin's chief of police, admitted in a recent interview that "there are areas — and we have to be honest here — where I would advise people who wear a kippah or are openly gay or lesbian to be more alert."

Slowik said she wouldn't "defame any groups of people here" but admitted that "there are certain neighborhoods where the majority of people liv[ing there] are of Arab descent, who also have sympathies for terrorist groups."

Extra to no-go zones and an unprecedented numbers of rapes, Germany has also been rocked by numerous ghastly incidents like the stabbing spree that left Stürzenberger scarred for life. For instance, just months after the bloody attack in Mannheim, a 26-year-old Syrian asylum-seeker allegedly attacked several people at a Christian music festival in Solingen, Germany, leaving three dead.

According to the German publication Spiegel, a witness heard the suspect, Issa Al Hasan, shout "Allahu Akbar" while randomly stabbing bystanders.

Another such attack may have been thwarted this week.

Politico reported Friday that a 37-year-old Iraqi asylum-seeker was arrested Wednesday after a foreign intelligence agency revealed he was allegedly plotting to launch an ISIS terror attack on a Christmas market in Bavaria, just as an ISIS terrorist did in 2016, killing 13 people.

Germany's new book-burners target online memes

Europe is in crisis, but nowhere is the collapse more evident than in Germany. Once the continent’s economic engine and cultural linchpin, Germany is now a cautionary tale of failed policies, social decay, and creeping authoritarianism.

In Deutschland, Orwell’s "thought crime" has leaped off the pages of fiction and landed in reality as "tweet crime." Recently, Bavarian police raided the home of a 64-year-old pensioner. His unforgivable act involved reposting a meme that dared to call Green Economy Minister Robert Habeck an "idiot."

Each country’s crisis looks slightly different, but the root causes are the same.

Having followed Habeck’s ascent to political stardom — and infamy — calling him an idiot feels almost generous.

The Bamberg prosecutor’s office classified the incident as a "politically motivated right-wing crime." The meme, a satirical play on words replacing "Schwarzkopf Professional" with "Schwachkopf Professional" (roughly, "Weakhead Professional"), triggered a full-blown investigation for "hatred."

Criticism of a government minister has been rebranded as defamation so severe it supposedly hinders Habeck’s ability to function. Police raids over memes — this isn’t satire; it’s the grim reality of modern Germany.

The absurdity doesn’t stop there. The Alternative for Germany, a growing populist force, reposted the same meme, exposing the glaring double standards in prosecuting speech.

When pensioners face police raids over harmless humor, it’s clear that the German state isn’t just losing its grip on reality — it’s actively dismantling free expression. But while the government micromanages memes, moralless miscreants run riot.

No ticket to ride

Train conductor isn’t a job that screams "danger" — unless you’re in Germany, where it’s become less a profession and more a survival test. Increasingly violent attacks, largely linked to systemic migration issues, have turned routine ticket checks into confrontations with danger.

Conductors report beatings, stabbings, humiliation, and worse. In some cases, they’ve been publicly urinated on by aggressive passengers, many of whom are migrants. This isn’t just anecdotal; violent incidents involving foreign nationals have surged.

The “solution” is as nonsensical as it is tragic: In some areas, conductors are instructed to avoid checking tickets of those who appear foreign, as if abandoning public order could somehow restore it.

The violence doesn’t stop at train conductors. Sexual assaults on public transport are so frequent that Berlin officials are debating the introduction of women-only carriages.

The statistics are staggering.

Sexual offenses on Berlin’s public transport have risen by 260% in the last decade, with nearly 400 such crimes reported in 2023 alone. Women make up 89% of the victims. High-profile cases, like the rape of a 63-year-old woman on a Berlin subway, have prompted desperate measures.

Foreign nationals, just 15% of Germany’s population, are responsible for 59% of all sexual crimes in public transit spaces. In train stations, violent crimes committed by foreign suspects have tripled in the past decade. Germany’s migration policies have become a blueprint for societal dysfunction: unchecked immigration, woefully inadequate integration, and a legal system too timid — or too overwhelmed — to enforce basic order.

A continent-wide collapse

Germany’s story is not unique. It’s echoed across Europe, where immigration policies have strained public services, fractured communities, and eroded trust in governments.

In the U.K., boatloads of migrants flood the southern shores daily, overwhelming local councils and igniting tensions in towns already buckling under the strain. But while resources are stretched thin and communities cry out for help, the government’s priorities seem alarmingly misaligned.

British citizens, like their German counterparts, are being arrested and handed lengthy prison sentences for so-called "tweet crimes." Criticizing policies or even questioning the state’s narrative online is now enough to land someone in court — or worse, behind bars.

As the country grapples with unchecked immigration, its own citizens are being silenced, not for acts of violence but for the crime of speaking out.

In Ireland, my home country, similar sobering trends are emerging. While small towns are inundated with asylum-seekers — often placed in local communities with little warning or preparation — Irish citizens who voice concerns are finding themselves targeted. Criticism of government policies or comments deemed “offensive” can now lead to investigations, arrests, and even convictions.

The state appears more focused on policing speech than addressing the genuine fears of its people, leaving communities feeling abandoned and silenced in their own country.

Italy faces similar pressures, with its island of Lampedusa groaning under the weight of relentless arrivals. Austria and Sweden, once seen as places of law and order, now grapple with spiraling gang violence, rapes, and criminal networks tied to migration.

Each country’s crisis looks slightly different, but the root causes are the same: mass immigration without assimilation, progressive policies that value inclusivity over security, and governments that prioritize political correctness over their citizens' welfare.

If Germany falls, Europe falls

As the violence grows, Germany’s government continues to focus on silencing dissent rather than addressing the chaos. Its commitment to ideological conformity is unwavering, even as public trust crumbles.

The pensioner arrested over a meme is just one example in a long line of chilling cases where free expression has been trampled. Critics of immigration policy are branded as extremists, while those pointing out uncomfortable truths are met with investigations, fines, or worse.

Meanwhile, ordinary Germans live with the fallout. The cliché about German trains running on time isn’t just a myth; it’s laughable. What were once symbols of precision and safety have devolved into battlegrounds, where violence is the norm and women are particularly vulnerable.

Public spaces that once felt secure now breed fear. Meanwhile, the government appears blind to this chaos, pouring its energy into prosecuting words instead of addressing the very real dangers that threaten its people every day.

Germany is Europe’s heart. It has been for decades. Its capitulation is not just a national failure; it’s a European one. And if the heart of Europe fails, the body will not survive.

Is Europe close to being conquered? These statistics paint a harrowing picture

When it comes to progressivism, Europe is just a few steps ahead of the United States. While there are many insidious policies contributing to its decline, such as the criminalization of hate speech, its immigration policies are the most outwardly destructive. Several European countries have opened their borders and allowed in millions of immigrants, many of whom hate Western values and the Westerners who live by them.

France specifically is going downhill at such a rate that in many ways, it’s beginning to look like a conquered nation.

Glenn Beck lists some terrifying statistics.

  • “Over 260 French citizens have been killed in terrorist attacks since 2012.”
  • “There were almost 1,000 anti-Christian hate crimes in France in [2023] alone.”
  • “Earlier this year, a cemetery in Southwest France was vandalized with graffiti written in French and Arabic. The messages included ‘Submit to Allah’ and ‘France is already Allaha’s.”’
  • “In May at a church in Western France, benches were set on fire and a statue of Mary was beheaded.”
  • “Last week in a town in Northern France, an arsonist burned down another church. This one was built in the 1800s.”
  • “In 2021 the president of the Paris-based Observatory of Religious Heritage reported that a church is destroyed in France every two weeks, with two-thirds of them caused by arson,” but “a new mosque is built every 15 days in France.”

Given that there are roughly 6.7 million Muslims in France, which is “about 10% of the French population,” something must be done about these alarming figures.

Luckily, President Macron has a plan. Unfortunately, it’s a terrible one.

“The centerpiece of Macron’s proposal is to certify and train imams in France. The proposed measure also included offering Arabic instruction in public schools, tightening control on private religious education, limiting homeschooling, and cracking down on speech or activities that contradict so-called Republican values such as gender-segregated hours at municipal swimming pools,” Glenn reads from Foreign Policy.

“The Muslims are going to line up for the government teaching … and everything’s going to change,” he says sarcastically.

Unfortunately, it’s not just France that’s spiraling toward disaster. It’s Europe as a whole.

From a Qatar charity that funds mosque-building in Europe and the conversion of churches into restaurants, gyms, and nightclubs to the catch-and-release policies that are putting illegal immigrant criminals back on the streets, Europe is looking more like a conquered continent with each day that passes.

Anti-Semitic attack on Jewish soccer fans in Amsterdam sheds light on Europe's open-border catastrophe

Like the United States under the Biden regime, Europe has opened its borders, allowing floods of anti-Semitic jihadists to infiltrate the cities and terrorize its Jewish civilians.

Mark Levin calls this mass migration “the second Muslim crusades.” However, he clarifies that he’s referring to “the jihadis, not normal migration,” which he wholeheartedly supports.

As a result of the open-border policies, some of the smaller European countries have lost control of the anti-Semitic migrants due to the sheer number of them. Unsurprisingly, this has resulted in an uptick in riots and attacks on Jewish people.

Never has this been more evident than when riled up pro-Palestine protesters attacked Jewish soccer fans in Amsterdam earlier this month. The skirmish ended with five people hospitalized and dozens arrested by Dutch authorities.

Authorities reported that “it’s not clear who started the violence,” but Levin says that that’s rubbish.

“It's not clear who started it? There's an entire report on it, and the entire report says this was organized weeks before that soccer game,” he says, adding that “this is the game” Europe’s Palestinians play.

Their claims that they “were provoked” tend to form the mainstream narrative, but Levin knows the truth: “They’re not provoked — not to stab people, not to brutalize people, beat them while they’re on the ground, not to throw them in rivers.”

This “hunting down Jews who go to a soccer game” was “planned a long time ago,” he reiterates.

One person in Europe, however, is thankfully speaking the truth. His name is Bruno Retailleau, and he’s the minister of the Interior of France.

On November 12 during a session of questions to the government at the National Assembly, Retailleau delivered a speech about Europe’s rampant anti-Semitism — a speech Levin calls “fantastic.”

To hear it, watch the clip above.

Mainstream Media Outlets Downplay a Pogrom in Amsterdam

A Thursday evening pogrom in Amsterdam, which saw roving gangs of anti-Semitic thugs beat Jews in the streets, sparked an emergency Israeli rescue operation. But Western media outlets, including Reuters and the New York Times, sought to downplay the shocking attacks, casting them as clashes between soccer fans.

Donald Trump’s victory is a beacon of hope across the world

Millions of people around the world were holding their breath last night. I've talked to Europeans to try to get a bead on what’s happening over there. There are Europeans like you and me who are frustrated with their own globalist, tyrannical bureaucracies telling them how to live and what to believe. If Donald Trump didn’t win, where in the world would they look to for hope that this madness would stop? Which leader could they count on to stand in the gap against their globalist elites? They, too, had a lot on the line in our election last night.

But today brings hope, not only in America but for freedom-loving people worldwide.

We need to restore the balance of power in the federal government — the way America’s founders intended.

We know Trump is going to stop the madness at the southern border. He is going to deport serial criminals and sex offenders who entered our country under Biden and Harris' watch. The media will try to convince you that deportations are something akin to Hitler, but they turn a blind eye to their Democratic predecessors who have deported even more illegal immigrants than Trump. In fact, Bill Clinton deported more illegal immigrants than any president in U.S. history, shipping 11 million out of the country in the 1990s. In contrast, Trump deported less than a million during his first term, which is even less than the 1.8 million under the Obama administration.

Deportations of criminals who are in our country illegally is critical to protecting the safety of the American people, a practice that has been exercised by presidents for decades.

Our friends across the pond have been witnessing the destruction of their societies since EU globalists opened Europe's floodgates to immigrants in 2015. Crime is rampant, communities governed by Sharia law are multiplying, and their social programs are being pushed to a breaking point. Tuesday night gave them reason to hope. America is going to say, "No more," and perhaps this will be the rallying cry for our European brothers-in-arms to stand up as well.

The election was also a major blow to draconian globalist organizations. The United States will no longer be beholden to the Paris Climate Accords. Our nation will no longer give credence to the World Economic Forum. We won’t give the World Health Organization a single penny more. All these very well-planned globalist initiatives are going away.

But Trump can't act alone. Thank God we won the Senate. This is an incredible step forward, but for these big plans to come to fruition, we need the House. If the Republicans — actual freedom-loving, Constitution-abiding Republicans don't have the House, you’re not going to be able to get things done except by executive order, which we don’t want to do. One reason things were so bad during the last four years is that Joe Biden simply signed executive orders to reverse everything that Trump accomplished, completely bypassing Congress. We have to do it the right way. We need to restore the balance of power in the federal government the way America’s founders intended.

One of the most hopeful things Trump said Tuesday night is that we’re going to enter a new golden era in America. I believe him. He could have said that in 2020, and I wouldn't have believed him as much as I believe him now. That’s because Trump now has a team of people that's not exclusively comprised of politicians.

Bringing in somebody like Elon Musk is one of the most hopeful things for our country I've witnessed in my lifetime. I know that guy can cut spending. I know he will find the waste in our government because he's not a government guy he's a businessman. He's going to slash all the redundancies that have been justified by career bureaucrats for decades. We have a chance of cutting our budget and creating a reasonable one.

Trump’s promise to cut regulations also spells hope for our country. He cut more regulation in his first term than any other president, but Biden and Harris have since added a mountain of rules. He will have his work cut out for him, but he will get it done. He must if this economy will roar again.

We could have a true rebirth of freedom and the American dream, and I find that really hopeful. So many Americans are tired of worrying about their kids struggling and seeing Bidenomics and regulation yank from their children's hands the possibility of the American dream that they attained. Donald Trump is the biggest chance of bringing it back.

Today, I’m filled with hope. Real, tangible hope. And you should be, too.

10 Things You Should Know While Waiting for Election Results

Election Day is finally here, but it's probably going to be a while before we know who won. In the meantime, here are 10 things you might as well read about while you're waiting for the results.

Monstrous migrants flood Italy, rape children, stab cops

Italy is pondering a new tactic in its war on out-of-control crime: chemical castration for violent sex offenders.

Such bold measures may already be too late, however — as long as the country's civilizational castration continues apace.

Eyewitnesses described a scene of sheer barbarism, recounting how the savage threw the woman to the ground, pummeling her face and head with his fists.

Since taking power two years ago, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has focused on law-and-order policies, creating new offenses and increasing penalties.

She's also made plans to draft legislation that would use androgen-blocking medications to chemically neuter those convicted of sexual violence. The decision signals a response to the rising tide of sexual crimes, many of which have shaken the country to the core in recent years.

These crimes, however, may be symptoms of a deeper problem: Italy's slow dissolution under the pressure of continuous mass immigration.

Children raped

The latest horror (in a long line of horrors) involves the rape of a 10-year-old African girl by a 28-year-old Bangladeshi man at a migrant center in the northern Italian region of Lombardy.

This gruesome crime unfolded at the Hotel Il Cacciatore, a contested site that houses around 20 asylum seekers. According to a report in the Daily Mail, the young girl's mother first became suspicious after she noticed alarming behavioral changes in her daughter. Soon after, medical tests confirmed that the little girl hadn’t just been violated; she was also pregnant with her rapist's child.

The child underwent an abortion. Her life, one imagines, will never be the same. Her innocence, brutally stolen, is something she can never reclaim. The scars — emotional, psychological, and physical — will likely remain with her long after the headlines fade. It’s difficult to read a story like that and not feel a sense of absolute anger and dismay.

Sheer barbarism

This assault is not an isolated incident but part of Italy’s wider unraveling. The country, already struggling under demographic pressure and a surge in migrant arrivals, is now grappling with an increase in violent crimes, from stabbings to sexual assaults.

For many, Italy no longer feels safe, and the nation’s attempts to mend the social fabric with punishments such as chemical castration feel more like a desperate last stand than a viable solution. What was once a proud country is now facing an identity crisis, one defined by fear and instability.

Take the case of a homeless Nigerian migrant, for example, who viciously assaulted an Italian woman in broad daylight during an attempted rape. The attack was so violent that she later died from her injuries in a hospital bed.

Eyewitnesses described a scene of sheer barbarism, recounting how the savage threw the woman to the ground, pummeling her face and head with his fists, possibly wielding a stone or some other blunt object.

Stabbed in the back

More recently, two violent incidents involving migrants rocked Milan, Italy’s financial heart.

In one appalling episode, Christian Di Martino, a 35-year-old police officer, was attacked after confronting a man throwing stones at trains and assaulting a female passenger.

The attacker, a Moroccan national living illegally in Italy with prior convictions, stabbed the officer multiple times in the back. Di Martino was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. The North African was charged with attempted murder.

Just days later, another violent confrontation unfolded on the streets. An Egyptian man, recently released from police custody after questioning in connection with a robbery, went on a crazed rampage, vandalizing property and hurling rocks at police when they moved to arrest him.

After failing to subdue the man with a taser, the police were forced to shoot him. Wounded, the criminal was finally able to be taken into custody.

The pattern is undeniable. But even more alarming is the systematic erasure of Italian heritage — and with it, the disappearance of its people.

Arrivederci!

In a few generations, Italy will be barely recognizable. Last year saw a staggering 50% rise in migrant arrivals, primarily from Africa and the Middle East. The shift is more than just numbers — this wave is fundamentally altering the demographic makeup of Italy.

What adds to the disaster is the fact that Italy’s population is aging faster than any other in Europe, with fewer young Italians being born to sustain the nation.

By 2040, the situation could reach a breaking point, as dwindling tax revenue from a shrinking workforce makes it impossible to support an increasingly elderly population. Public finances are set to buckle under the weight of this imbalance; the economy, once one of Europe's most robust, could enter a death spiral.

In truth, Italy has already entered a death spiral, literally and figuratively. The Italy of Roman ruins, Renaissance art, and sun-soaked landscapes finds itself overshadowed by a nation at odds with itself.

The streets of Florence, Milan, Rome, and Venice are filling with new faces, new languages, new “norms,” new threats, and new nightmares.

In just a few decades, the Italy we know and love will have vanished, replaced by a nation full of uncivilized individuals with a penchant for uncivilized behavior.

EU poised to personally punish Elon Musk under 'censorship law' over supposed X violations

The European Union's Digital Services Act is touted as part of a regulatory strategy to "prevent illegal and harmful activities online and the spread of disinformation."

In practice, the DSA, regarded by critics as a "censorship law," is shaping up to be a cudgel for vindictive continentals to wield against Elon Musk and his relatively open social media platform, X.

There are now indications that the European Commission is plotting to personally target Musk with monster DSA fines for supposed violations of the regulators' content moderation rules on X.

After months of investigation concerning alleged DSA violations, the European Commission announced on July 11 that X was likely in breach "in areas linked to dark patterns, advertising transparency, and data access for research."

'We look forward to a very public battle.'

The commission complained that:

  • Anyone on X can subscribe to obtain a blue checkmark, which somehow "negatively affects users' ability to make free and informed decisions about the authenticity of the accounts and the content they interact with";
  • X lacks a "searchable and reliable advertisement repository";
  • X "prohibits eligible researchers from independently accessing its public data, such as by scraping."

Thomas Regnier, a spokesman for the commission, indicated there are additional alleged breaches under consideration, noting in a statement obtained by TechCrunch, "There is no precise timeline for [the EU completing all its DSA probes of X], and the Commission continues its investigation on the two remaining suspected breaches, namely illegal content and information manipulation more generally."

Musk indicated that he would challenge the findings, tweeting, "We look forward to a very public battle in court, so that the people of Europe can know the truth."

The commission said that a noncompliance decision finding X in breach of Articles 25, 39, and 40(12) of the DSA could mean fines of up to 6% of a platform's total worldwide revenue, to be decided by Margrethe Vestager, the commission's Danish executive vice president.

However, insidersrevealed this week to Bloomberg that the commission may instead calculate fines based on sales from all of Musk's companies, including SpaceX, Neuralink, xAI, and the Boring Company.

The apparent thinking behind this punitive play is that since X is a private company and under Musk's control, the billionaire is ultimately the finable entity. This logic bodes well for those foreign nationals seeking to expropriate the maximum amount of money from the American, given that X was recently valued at only $9.4 billion.

According to the insiders, Tesla Inc.'s sales would be exempt from these fines because the company is publicly traded and Musk is not in total control.

To avoid the Euro fines, X would have to bend over backward to satisfy the regulators.

"The obligations under the DSA are addressed to the provider of the very large online platform or very large online search engine," Regnier told Bloomberg. "This applies irrespective of whether the entity exercising decisive influence over the platform or search engine is a natural or legal person."

'I'm really scared by digital platforms in bad hands.'

In doing so, the EU would be following in the footsteps of the Silva regime in Brazil, which similarly treated Musk-led companies as a single group. Last month, the South American nation confiscated millions of dollars from a Starlink bank account to cover fines imposed on X.

Even if Musk successfully challenges the latest DSA complaints or bends the knee, the Europeans will likely continue trying to extract their pound of flesh.

Evin Incir, a Swedish Social Democrat member of the European Parliament, for instance, recently told Kvartal that the "DSA is an extremely important tool" to combat polarization and so-called "disinformation" on X, which she claims is adversely impacting society.

Incir indicated that the DSA would help tame the "Wild West," which is X under Musk.

European Commission Vice President Věra Jourová told Politico Wednesday that Musk was "not able to recognize good and evil."

"We started to relativize evil, and he's helping it proactively. He's the promoter of evil," said Jourová. "I'm really scared by digital platforms in bad hands."

Musk responded on X, "Věra Jourová is the epitome of banal, bureaucratic evil."
